Jessica was a joy to work with. Her energy, positive spirit and leadership really helped the day go smoothly. She was always five steps ahead of me and let me relax as a bride, knowing that she would give everyone plenty of notice for when the next set of photos would be. I could easily trust her to not miss any of the most important moments. Additionally, she took the time to understand my personality as well as my husband's. This allowed her to truly capture our genuine selves in her photos and to make us feel comfortable in settings we had never experienced before. We received our first round of photos very quickly after the wedding day. They far surpassed our expectations and were absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to see the rest and to order prints to go in our home so we can continue to relive that day over and over again. I would recommend her to any of my close friends who are getting married. Hands down the best photographer in Texas! She is a natural and she works to understand her bride and groom and she does a fantastic job with knowing the timing to every shot! You know you had a great photographer when you have more that one guest tell you, weeks after the wedding, that they loved the photographer!! I had several guests make that comment. Jessica is a jewel! Not only does she love sparkles but her personality sparkles as well. She is upbeat, fun to be around and makes you feel like yours is the best wedding she's ever photographed. She not only captures the tried and true shots (family photos, walking down the aisle photos, etc) but she's great about seeing a random moment and capturing it. She's very talented and has a great eye. My daughter has declared her our new family photographer. Jessica will be capturing all our future family moments and we can't wait to work with her again. Jessica Frey was the engagement and wedding photographer for my daughter's wedding. And she'll absolutely be our photographer for future family events. Jessica is the consummate professional and her photos are amazing, whether posed or candid. Moments matter - Jessica captures every beautiful moment, and her editing makes them even more beautiful. Many of her photos literally take my breath away. But I have to say, we found her style, personality and her presence just as important as her photographic talents. I cannot say enough good things about Jessica!! This was my most important vendor to book, these pictures will be what we have to remember our wedding day. She is the best photographer we’ve ever worked with. When we first met her for our engagements I told her we would be awkward and her bubbly fun personality made it not awkward at all and she got amazing pictures of us! I was completely sold after that. Unfortunately when covid struck and we were postponed we had some time until our wedding. We ended up having our little miracle baby and while I was pregnant and at high risk for covid, Jessica traveled from Austin to Houston to do our maternity pics. She got there early to scope out a place and took the most BEAUTIFUL pics!! Again, I was obsessed. Once our son arrived unexpectedly I was a total mess for weeks, finally when we were getting it together (longer after she recommended newborn pics) she was still available to squeeze us in and AGAIN come to Houston to take pics in our nursery with him. She was always very respectful of our covid precautions since we were being extra crazy. People see the pics she took of my son and they swoon. I’ve had multiple people say “wow your photographer got great shots!” And she doesn’t do those cheesy newborn pics, it was more lifestyle of us all in the nursery. OBSESSED. Finally!!! After two years from meeting her and contracting with her we had our wedding Aug 2021. I haven’t seen but a few sneak peaks but I’m not even worried I know they will be spectacular By this time we were all great friends. My husband jokes because he hates to smile with his teeth showing and she ALWAYS gets it out of him. She was definitely one of our favorite vendors. My husband said to her he was sad this was finally coming to an end, and Jessica said “oh we’re not done” haha. Any other life event, baby, Christmas card etc. she’s our girl!! Seriously book Jessica, it will be the best thing you do for your wedding!!!

We had the best time with Jessica as our photographer for both our engagement pictures and our wedding day! Her bubbly personality and positive attitude was infectious from the moment we met her and she really helped us break out of our shell taking all of our pictures in each setting and backdrop. Our bridal party also raved about her personality and how easy she made it for everyone involved! She simply made things fun! We can’t recommend her enough for your big day, and will be sure to send any friends that decide to get married in the area her way as well.

We've only just done engagement photos with Jessica so far and we can't wait until the wedding day....her work is outstanding. Look no further! She really does have a timeless look about her photos. She's also bubbly and relaxed, which helps if you are a couple that doesn't love photo shoots. She makes you feel at ease and she will goes with the flow (for example, she took our photos for 2 hours at 2 different locations with our dogs, and at the vey end the sun came out - she stopped and spent even more time to get some amazing pics with us). PERFECT!!! We LOVED working with Jessica and her team! She gets the heirloom classic look while mixing in some out of the box shots for the perfect combo! All in all her price points really include so much value you cannot beat it! Some photographers only you give you a number of photos and will nickel and dime you. Not Jessica, everything is clear up front. We did our engagement photos, my bridal portraits, and our wedding pictures. Our engagement photos were taken at our venue and she even worked with our dogs for special shots of our whole family. EVERYONE is in love with her photos. She was well organized, prompt, and fun. Her experience gave me such a HUGE sense of relief, in fact other vendors followed her lead which made the whole day flow like magic. We had some unique requests and she delivered! Book her! I dare you to set up a zoom call with Jessica and NOT fall in love with her!!! Not only does she have the BEST personality, is always smiling and positive but boy, is she talented! Jessica was recommended to me by my best friend who has a floral company and has worked alongside Jessica for a couple weddings. Jessica is the absolute best there is in Austin! We were dealing with many difficulties as a covid wedding couple, as many other were, and Jessica was absolutely fantastic as we went through that roller coaster of a ride with constant changes to plans. We ended up with a small intimate wedding due to the pandemic, but Jessica and her team made it such an amazing and memorable wedding, the photos turned out absolutely amazing!! We loved her so much that we have already hired her to do our "I do re-do" 1 year anniversary party with our full guest list next year, once all of the corona virus restrictions are more under control! Cannot recommend her enough!

Loved working with Jessica for my wedding. The pictures turned out more beautiful than I could have imagined. She has an amazing eye for color and was able to create combinations and shots that I wouldn't even have thought of. She met with us a few months before the wedding to ask us questions about ourselves, get the names of everyone in the families and parties, and get a list of any shots we definitely wanted included. On the day of the wedding she got amazing shots from get ready to exit, and all the details in between, and managed to do it all smoothly and without causing stops in between. She had shot at my venue several times (the driskill) and so was very familiar with what shots she recommended and what areas to shoot in and I completely trusted her recommendations for photo ops. We got a handful of teaser photos about a week after the wedding, and the final shots (a huge number and variety) about 2 months after the event. All in all, she has been very communicative, very helpful, very upbeat, and the pictures came out absolutely beautifully. I would 100% use her again or recommend her for any wedding.

We booked Jessica for both our engagement pictures and our wedding and we couldn't be happier that we did. My now-husband and I aren't big fans of being in front of the camera but Jessica instantly made us feel extremely comfortable and at ease. If you want a contagious personality who is going to make you look flawless in your photos while having tons of fun, Jessica is your girl. I work side by side with so many great photographers and Jessica is not only seriously talented, she is great to be around. When we started planning our wedding we knew the three most important pieces were dress, venue, and photographer. We booked The Driskill as our venue, which is beautiful but can also be challenging to photograph because it is very dark. We asked the The Driskill’s events manager for photographer recommendations, and looking through their portfolios Jessica’s pictures immediately caught our eye. They just POPPED. Her style is bright, crisp, and bold – exactly what we wanted. Jessica was a delight to work with from our first interaction. She was quick to respond, helpful, and worked with us to tailor the perfect package for our wedding. Our engagement session was fun and turned out some incredible pictures. Jessica provided constant feedback to our coordinator when assembling the wedding day timeline and contributed with helpful input every step of the way. She was absolutely on top of her game at our wedding. Steven, her second photographer, was outstanding, and they worked together seamlessly throughout the day. There were so many photos we loved – we were more than a little excited when we first looked through our gallery, and we keep going back through it to relive our special day. You will not regret working with Jessica. She is an incredibly talented professional and we are her clients for life.

Jessica is the best wedding photographer! A photographer was very important to me, so I could have great photos to remember our special day with forever. She not only takes wonderful photos but has an amazing personality too! She made us laugh and feel extremely comfortable, and the pictures show it! My niece’s wedding was celebrated in Austin in October. It was a beautiful event at an amazing venue. We were very impressed by her photographer Jessica Frey, she was very nice and friendly. She made herself part of the ceremony and reception. She was very patient and accommodating. At the reception she intermingled with the guest always with a smile in her face and was able to capture many candid pictures. Jessica is a true gem, and such a pleasure to work with! We had our engagement shoot a few weeks ago, which we had to reschedule due to all the yucky rain. She was very flexible and helpful with rescheduling, due to the fact that she is always available by phone, email and active on social media. At this point, you've read reviews, you've been recommended a cousin, neighbor, co-worker that "can do it.", just say 'thank you' and book Jessica! I initially met Jessica at the Driskill Wedding showcase, which is sort of this 'crem de la crem' wedding vendor event. Her portfolio had a classic, traditional slant with high contrast and crystal clear focus. She is absolutely brilliant with lighting. If you are doing any kind of an evening or inside event, it's absolutely imperative you choose a photographer of her caliber. Then, I looked at over 30 portfolios of photographers on The Knot, including hers. She stood out as a true professional. We were searching for a timeless photographer. Her high contrast with highly saturated colors really makes her work beautiful and compelling. Her attention to detail and her ability to put us at ease was priceless. Remember, these photos are going to follow you around for life! Your grandchildren will be looking at them! On top of the fact that after planning our grand wedding for a year, I wanted it documented perfectly! She included our engagement photos in our package. She's a master at her craft and put us at ease immediately. My new husband and I are just normal people that don't take a lot of pictures. We're pretty awkward and yet she made us look so good!! She danced in front of us to loosen us up- It was so fun! We took those pictures outside in a fairly urban and then garden environment. Those engagement pics were so good we projected them onto screens during the wedding. She also printed those pics out onto small business cards with our engagement photos on the front and her contact info on the back so that our guests could reach out to her to see the wedding photos. A nice touch! We also used the engagement photos to make our guest book, a book of our pics that the guests could sign directly over. It looked so good!!! During the wedding, she brought 2 other photographers to help her out because our wedding was so large. She was all over the place! She was completely in tune with our time-line and worked seamlessly with my wedding planner to organize and make the wedding flawless. She was in all the right places at all the right times. Jessica showed up early around 3pm to photograph all of us getting ready and then stayed until midnight. She sent us questionnaires so that I could specify which formal photos we'd like and with whom. I was also able to specify which people I wanted candid photos of. When guests showed up early, she made a command decision to have the hotel keep the guests out of the ceremony space (just briefly) so that we could continue with our formal pre-pictures (just the bridal party). I literally did not worry about a thing. Nothing. She was a true professional with an incredible amount of experience. And back to her knowledge of lighting, we had a ballroom wedding with a massive number of "uplights" and "gobo starry night" lights across the ceiling and even a monogramed lighted dance floor. All this 'created' lighting in a darkened room could make for awkward photos. Not with her. They are stunning! We had a Confetti Canon Last Dance, so the air was filled with confetti and all the magical lights and the pics are still flawless. Then we did a Sparkler send off at midnight and again, flawless with the lighting! Captured memories for life!!

I met with several photographers and from the very beginning Jessica stood out to me. She is a woman of action who will bend over backwards to make sure she captures your special day. She was available throughout the planning process to discuss photos that we wanted to make sure she took and had a number of calls with us to ensure we were on the same page. Jessica has great enthusiasm and is 1000% passionate about what she does. She worked with us to get a photography package in our budget and captured moments we will love for the rest of our life. I gave her a list of “must take” shots and she got every single one of them! Hands down, choose Jessica Frey and you will be very pleased.

I cannot say enough good things about Jessica! I planned my wedding from a different state (in fact only the groom was living in the city we got married in). Our wedding planner was fantastic but we hired her out of state as well-- I know how silly that sounds! Anyways, Jessica went above and beyond for us. When I had questions related to the Austin wedding scene, she had answers. We had a truly terrific team that put on a magical day for us but she truly was our MVP vendor of our wedding. Everyone LOVED her and our families all felt like she was part of the family. Jessica is crazy hard working- a total inspiration, but she does her job with so much personality and care for her clients that she makes you feel so comfortable even for a bride who didn't want any of the attention! Absolutely the most gorgeous photos I’ve ever seen. Jessica captured moments that meant so much to us!!! Her ability to be in the right place at the right time is uncanny. I am so thankful for her work-from engagement photos to the bride and groom leaving the reception. They were perfect. We could not have ever imagined how spectacular her work was. When you begin planning your wedding, there are few things more important than your wedding photos. Jessica was our daughter's first choice for their photographer. While living abroad, my husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Jessica. We first saw her work in our home town of Bakersfield, CA. Very interested, we contacted Jessica in hopes of her photographing our engagement pictures.
