extremely flexible. When we received the engagement pictures a few weeks after we knew we had made the right choice to go with him. They were absolutely stunning! We next talked to Jimmy in July 2021 to prep for our wedding. We discussed any particular pictures we wanted as well as the timeline of the day and when we would want him to get to our location. He worked with us and helped us come up with the timeline to make sure we both took pictures with him before the first look. Once we arrived at the venue he was the guy we looked to for any pictures we wanted and he was always on top of getting the right shot. He was so calm throughout the whole night it was really a breath of fresh air for us. He took so much stress out of the day and really helped us enjoy every second of it. Our favorite part was right before dinner he came over to us and asked if we wanted to sneak away for some sunset pics and it was perfect timing! We were able to really take the whole day in and it was very special for us. The pictures he took are beautiful and everything we could have hoped for and more! We cannot say enough good things about Jimmy. If you are looking for the perfect wedding photographer Jimmy is the guy for you!

p until 30 minutes after the reception ended, when my husband and I were still dancing. He is such a nice and easy going person, he made our wedding day that much more relaxed and fun! He went above and beyond to make the day special for us. He even helped my maid of honor with busseling my dress when we were having a dress catastrophe. He gives you all your photos in an easy online album, and he edits a few of the best ones and sends them right away for you to post! And they are absolutely gorgeous photos! He puts in so much effort to get the perfect pictures, suggesting the poses, knowing how to make you comfortable behind the camera, and scoping out the best places and lighting for you. There is not enough great things I can say about him, you will not regret booking him for your big day!

SO comfortable in front of the camera. Us as well as our entire wedding party had a blast with Jimmy from getting ready in the morning to dancing the night away during the reception. Jimmy knew how to direct us and just make everything so easy. He even went above and beyond and set up his gear in the pouring rain during our reception to get THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND PERFECT shot of us! And how many people can say they received sneak peek photos ON their wedding day?! Jimmy sent us a few on the night of our wedding and some more two days later and we are so thrilled about them! ell us he was a photographer visiting from New Hampshire (we are in Maine) for his cousins birthday. My husband and I went to do our walk into the reception and first dance to find the photographer we hired for our wedding had disappeared. It was a little shocking to be honest. Jimmy said the wait was so long at the restaurant that they took a walk down to the reception and when Jimmy heard what happened he immediately jumped in to help. My cousin just so happened to have her camera in my moms car and there goes Jimmy in his natural habitat making me, my family and friends dance, take photos and just LIVE! You can truly tell Jimmy loves what he does by the actions he takes. He is kind, humble, a great person and a wonderful photographer! You left your mark on the McGovern's Jimmy. Thank YOU!

was willing to adventure out in the rain with us and found some really cool locations to take shots. He was also great with allowing us to be with our party, while finding small bouts of time to take pictures as the night grew on. My bridal party LOVED working with him and kept saying how great he was with everyone. Did I mention, his turnaround time for pictures is insane (got a sneak peak within 24 hours!). I highly recommend hiring him to be your photographer...you will not be disappointed!!

what we didn't know we wanted until we saw it (he has a great eye). For example, he got an amazing outside group photo of my family that really caught the moment. My wife and I appreciated his help through the whole process including teaching us how to stand/pose and making the photo taking process a lot of fun. oubt after our first phone call with Jimmy that he would be perfect. We talked with him about what we had planned for our wedding, then we asked a couple questions about the packages, and he helped us pick the one that was right for us. At no point did we get the sense that he was trying to upsell us: He treated us with the utmost respect. In the days leading up to our engagement shoot, it became clear that we would have to reschedule due to weather, and he was responsive and patient throughout the whole process. The shoot proved what we already knew: that Jimmy is an extraordinarily dedicated artist with a remarkable talent for making people feel at ease. We were both anxious going into it, because neither of us really like having our pictures taken, but Jimmy made it more enjoyable than we could have hoped. The first time he really went above and beyond was after the engagement shoot, when he drove about ten minutes across town to meet us at my parents' house (the venue for our wedding). We had mentioned that it was nearby, and he politely said he'd like to come check it out and get a sense for the space. We showed him around and introduced him to my parents, and he even took a bunch more pictures, which he had absolutely no contractual obligation to do. It was an unexpectedly delightful experience, and all told, he probably ended up spending a good 3 or 4 hours with us. He delivered both the preview and the final gallery on time, and the photos were so wonderful that we felt like we had already gotten our money's worth. It also bears mentioning that the system he used to share the photos was totally intuitive and hassle-free: He protected the gallery with a password — which made us feel safe, and showed that he respected our privacy — then he shared the password with us via email. All we had to do was click the link and enter the password, and all the photos were there for us to view or download as we pleased. A couple months later, we had a call to discuss the timeline for our wedding day. We told him a time in the early afternoon that we thought he should arrive, but he said he wanted to come even earlier to get some shots of the space before it filled up with people. So he walked around my parents' house for over an hour — taking pictures of the chuppah, the flowers, and the place settings — before we even started getting dressed. We had a small gathering (15 guests, including a baby), and it was incredible how he managed to greet everyone and make them all feel comfortable. Jimmy has a remarkable talent for not making his presence felt: When I think back to our wedding, I can hardly remember him being there. He stuck around for most of the dinner, and he probably would have stayed much later if we hadn't let him off the hook. Even so, he was probably there for a solid 7 hours. He sent us the preview photos exactly when he said he would, and the full gallery within six weeks, as promised. Overall, we couldn't have been more satisfied, and we still can't believe how inexpensive everything was. We haven't gotten our 15 prints and 30-page album yet, but those feel like a steal on top of the already amazing value we got. Jimmy is the best. Hire him before he justifiably raises his prices.

, but look no further. Jimmy Gray was everything we had hoped for and more! He was super responsive to our questions from the beginning right up to the actual day. Jimmy made the process so easy and was willing to work through all of the COVID-related restrictions. He was reliable, timely, and easily earned our full trust right from the get-go. My husband and I relied on Jimmy a lot to help organize and direct our rather large wedding party and families in our photos, and he did so effortlessly. Jimmy’s calm, cool demeanor fostered a relaxing and fun environment on what can be a very stressful and hectic day. Members of our wedding party commented on how easy and fun he was to work with, and guests at our wedding were amazed at how he was able to capture so many moments without even being noticed. We were truly amazed to see the amount of high quality shots he was able to get from seemingly every possible angle in such a short amount of time. Jimmy captured all of the photos we wanted, and even those we didn’t know we wanted 😊 We were especially impressed by the beautiful nights shots he took highlighting every star in the sky. We had never had professional photos taken before our engagement shoot, but Jimmy made us feel so comfortable while directing us when needed! It was an extra perk that he sent preview photos a few days after our engagement shoot and wedding - we loved getting a quick preview to share with friends and family while waiting for the rest. It’s those moments in particular that really capture the essence of the day and the emotion at that very moment.
