All of our guests loved him! Highly recommend him! He was fantastic! You won’t be disappointed at all if you choose Tev! I also had a really nice long email from the owner Mark when I thought there would be an issue with timing and setting up at my wedding. The owner sent me a long email explaining that they will make sure they are there and set up for the exact time I need them to be. He made any stress that I had disappear. I was really appreciative that he took the time to assure me my day will be perfect!

expectations! We had a very specific set list on Spotify we wanted to play during ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. Tev was able to take from that list and build! He was on time and definitely seemed well prepared. He adapted quickly to some unexpected changes we had in our timeline or announcements. Also, he showed up in costume and we absolutely loved that! We truly appreciate the time and effort he put into helping make our day special.

edding was, Tev. He was nothing short of a dumpster fire, not qualified to DJ a high school dance. He showed up to our wedding, didn't introduce himself, just set up equipment. Our officiant asked for a Lapel, he couldn't get it to work and told her "this is the kind of wedding that doesn't need a microphone." We ended up saying our vows with a hand held in our faces. Not as romantic as we had hoped for, but we could look past it. We purchased The Magic Mirror w/ our package. Tev started setting up for the reception, our mirror was no where to be found. A family member asked and he said he "didn't know anything about it & was subcontracted through the company" & continued to play music. After photos, we had the grand entrance, Tev didn't follow the requested songs so he didn't know what song to play as we waited 5 mins for a guest to tell him. My husband & I then asked Tev about the mirror, interrupting our reception & taking time away time from our guests. Tev told him that "he was yelling at the wrong guy." I called Mark who said someone else was bringing it & that person had gotten a flat tire on the way w/ no ETA on when they would arrive. At this point, we gave up on the mirror & asked Tev, (who became extremely rude, practically ignoring us anytime we tried to speak with him- he had his headphones laying over his ear and made us feel like we were a nuisance to him) to announce that dinner was ready. When he ignored my husband's request, my husband & MIL yelled over the music to make the announcement themselves. Tev refused to make any announcement until a song was done playing (wouldn't turn down the music to speak over it). I had to remind him to do the first dance, the garter toss, the cake cutting, toast, etc. I hired a DJ so I wouldn't have to make these announcements myself. I could have brought my Alexa to play music & saved money. In addition to the above, during any important song, Tev would start to play the song prior to us being on the dance floor. My husband and I missed about 10-15 secs of our first dance as a result. During the father/daughter song, Tev replayed the first dance song my husband and I had just danced to minutes before. I stopped the dance with my dad leaving him in the middle of the dance floor to walk over to Tev and let him know he was playing the wrong song. He told me I was wrong. I asked him to pull up my packet with our requested songs and he told me "my bad. I'll play the correct song." It was not only extremely embarrassing for me to leave the dance with my dad in front of all of our guests watching and taking photos/videos but rude to myself and my dad to have to interrupt OUR moment to correct HIS mistake, once again. Our wedding felt awkward with Tev from this point forward, and our guests could also sense the tension. I did receive an email from Mark apologizing for the mirror & microphone (along with a partial refund). I replied explaining our issues with our service were more than just the mirror & microphone. I wasn't going to write a negative review but after no response from him after a month, I decided to spare others the same troubles we went through. So save yourselves the time and money and take your business elsewhere.

unication could have been better, I didn’t hear much from Johnny B’s after booking them until 2 weeks before the wedding and the wrong song was almost played for our reception but again, Tevin did a great job of adjusting on the fly! He took all my requests throughout the night and really was a key aspect to our day going seamlessly!

The Mic and speaker he brought weren’t working properly during the speeches and kept cutting in and out. Mostly small hiccups that didn’t fully affect the day, but we were still disappointed. We also utilized the Magic Mirror and it was amazing! Josh was great!

for our big night, and things went okay. There was some feedback on the officiants lapel, not sure if that could of been fixed but it was heard throughout the ceremony. On to the reception, the entrance and first dance song, those went off without a hitch. Throughout dinner everything went well, but the toast/speeches is where I was a little disappointed. The microphone kept cutting out so we couldn’t really hear the speeches from our loved ones. Not sure if something could of been done , and I know tech can be unpredictable sometimes but just very poor timing. Bigger picture, everything went well! Just some small hiccups.

y husband and I had to keep going up to his stand to tell him what to do and it was very rare he listened even after just reminding him. He was also very unclear when he'd speak on the microphone for announcements so our guests were often very confused. I gave him a playlist of music we wanted him to play, and he played a lot of music I had never heard and didn't even like. We did, however, absolutely love the Magic Mirror photo booth. We had Joshua as our operator and he was amazing! This is was so much fun for us and our guests to do. They even give you a flash drive with all the photos on it after your reception is over. So, all in all I 100% recommend their Magic Mirror, but would recommend finding your DJ somewhere else.

of music we did and did not want, specialty dances, the order of for announcing the wedding party so the day of the wedding everything was already done. Our DJ (Darrell) was AMAZING! I can’t begin to tell you how many compliments I had about him, he played music that kept the crowed on the dance floor the entire night, I couldn’t have asked for more. If you are having a party of getting married, you couldn’t do better than Johnny B’s as your DJ.

down the aisle, the microphone didn't work during the ceremony, he played the wrong songs for the grand entrance, not to mention completely forgot to announce one of the bridesmaids and groomsmen. During our first dance, our song was interrupted by another song. He didn't follow any of the things I asked him to do, and I am very disappointed. I would not recommend this company to anyone because of the poor service we received.

for long periods of time and was nowhere to be found. He was totally clueless to playing what the crowd was enjoying. Our photographer had to keep going and asking him to announce the next thing at the wedding. It was horrible. Guests were giving him money to play songs that were already on my request list. So embarrassing and so unprofessional. I gave feedback to the company and they offered me free DJ service at my next event but this was a destination wedding so that offer fell flat. I would not recommend them. The DJ is such an important part of the day, so to ignore how bad this says everything you need to know. The only positive thing was we hired the photobooth through them and that was a hit with the guests.

, and we think most couples would have a lot of stress reduced as we had! We did not only gain a vendor/DJ for our wedding during this process, but a friend too! Parker comes with many years of experience that assists in many ways for the planning, coordinating, and running of the wedding. His contacts within the industry was extremely helpful too while trying to plan a wedding through the difficulties of Covid-19. His drive and determination of wanting what was best for us during our wedding day, and throughout the planning process was greeted with joy and gratefulness! We recommend Parker for your wedding or event.
