We were recommended to Jonathan by a friend and we were happy we selected him as our wedding photographer. In our video calls, he took time to get to know us and to learn what was important to us. We didnt want our wedding day to feel like a photo shoot and preferred a journalistic approach. Before the wedding, he provided a very helpful guide to prepare us for the big day. He was prompt in his email communications and we appreciated the attentiveness he gave us. During the wedding, he was good at being inconspicuous while taking photos. For most of the day, we didnt realize he and the second photographer were there! We gave him the nickname “Photo Ninja”! This allowed us to fully be in the moment and enjoy our wedding. Jonathan revealed the finished photos about a month after the wedding. We were very satisfied with them. There was a mix of group photos, journalistic photos of the ceremony/reception, still photos of decorations, and candid photos of the wedding party and guests. He did a great job of capturing the memories from the wedding. Overall, we are very pleased with Jonathans work. He was accommodating and flexible to fit our needs and budget. He was friendly and easy to talk to. We would recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer.

My fiancé and I had a great time at our engagement session with Jonathan at Terra Valley farms. He coordinated a beautiful shoot for us with multiple vendors including a wedding venue, a florist, a hair and makeup artist, a mobile barber and a professional dog walker! He made us feel so special during our shoot. It's not easy to be photographed and he eased all of our fears. He made taking pictures fun and easy! We tried an awkward pose but by the end of it we were all laughing and the photos turned out great. He has a great eye for detail and is very creative. His style is bright and natural. Nothing ever felt stiff or posed. I’d definitely recommend Jonathan for an engagement shoot, wedding photos or any other special moment!

Jonathan did an amazing job with our photos. The whole experience from a meeting before to consult about how we wanted the day to go, to easy to follow direction and advice on how to get the best possible pictures on the day. Jonathan is competent and quick but also laid back and helped us take the stress off what is already a very stressful day. And then the photos turned out truly special. Even on an overcast day he was able to create some beautiful photos that will last a lifetime for us. He had ideas for poses and framing but also gave us space to do what felt natural. We would LOVE to work with him again. Cannot recommend him enough.

We contacted Jon just three days prior to our elopement, he responded the same day. Our courthouse wedding was scheduled for noon on a weekday, so luckily Jon could accommodate us. Jon was professional and responsive to my emails and texts from start to finish. What stands out the most for us is Jon’s creativeness, he is a talented artist. Jonathan made my wedding experience so much more fun and easier! I am not very good at thinking of poses for pictures, but he made us feel comfortable and worked very well with Nisha, our videographer. They played well off each other with ideas for how to make our session worthwhile. Jon's photos turned out beautiful and captured well the range of emotions of our big day. We had a range of photos from the getting ready part to an outside photoshoot, to first looks, and even though I did not completely know what I was looking for he helped me create an overall beautiful picture of our special day. Even though things didn't go as planned, Jon and Nisha had patience with us and prioritized mine and my husband's special moments. I would highly recommend Jon for your event.

Jonathan did an amazing job with my last minute elopement photos. I decided to plan a wedding in a month because we had family coming to town and he was on board after I had 2 separate photographers commit and then cancel. It was a stressful time but he captured amazing photos and had them to me in less than a week! Would highly recommend and use him in the future
