ordinator Michele was AMAZING. I reached out to her in February and she helped calm my jitters and any questions I had she would answer and was so helpful. Michele was so accommodating with every request I asked or any questions I had. I literally can not express enough how amazing she was ! All our guests kept complimenting how beautiful our wedding was and how delicious the food was. We did an antipasto bar along with passed appetizers the antipasto bar was a HUGE hit. For the dinner we did a buffet. I would recommend this venue to anyone. I had such an awesome experience and I can not thank them enough for making my special day PERFECT.

atering and a day of coordinator. Our coordinator, Michele, was incredible! She was super organized, asked all the right questions, and set up everything we needed for our reception flawlessly. Working with her really put me at ease in the days leading up to the wedding. We went for a BBQ themed menu and it was absolutely delicious! Michele made sure we had time to eat a full dinner and we enjoyed every bite (especially the brisket). They have a large dance floor, across the room from the dining area, that stayed active all night. We also enjoyed the be beautiful area out back, it was perfect for scenic photos by the river and a few minutes of quiet and sunshine just taking the day in together. The night went so smoothly and and was everything we had hoped for. People are still calling and messaging to tell us what a great time they had!

Communication with the venue/management is difficult, their phone number is based out of a sister restaurant so reaching them was more of leaving a voicemail and waiting for a call back situation. I was lucky to connect with one of their coordinators, Michele, through a Facebook wedding group, and I couldn't be happier I did because she was so responsive and willing to answer my every question, and boy were there a lot of them! She went above and beyond to reassure me during my extra year of wedding panic and I truly would not have had such a positive experience without her. The rehearsal went smoothly, I felt so relaxed and confident leaving that I woke up on wedding morning without any stress of how the day would go. The food was incredible, we have gotten so many compliments from guests, and the dance floor is huge which is a great bonus because we kept it packed all night long! We had the best day celebrating at Jones River Trading Post and owe it all to Michele and her team for executing our vision so perfectly!

I worked most closely with Michele and was seriously impressed with her down-to-earth, honest and incredibly smart/wise wedding expertise. She was so accessible, helped me to troubleshoot and get everything in order from seating to decorations to food and drink well ahead of my big day. With Michele in my corner I never felt overwhelmed and that's saying something coming from a bride!! Thanks to Michele and the Jones River team for everything, I would work with you guys 1,000 times over!

A special shout out to Michelle (my day of coordinator), we love this woman as well as her wonderful wait staff. She set up all my decorations and made sure to double check in with me on what I wanted and made my visions come to life. She organized the wedding party, to allow me to have a calm and stress free wedding day. The food was amazing….she also made sure I ate lol. Very attentive and was always where they were needed. The staff also packed up all decor and made sure we had everything we needed. I recommend this venue 1000%

He did such a good job with our wedding decorations, a true professional (we wished we could have dealt with him 100% of the planning process). We're leaving 4 stars only because the experience booking a wedding was a bit rough around the edges. There seems to be a disconnect with the owner and the day-of coordinators (multiple times we got different answers to the same questions, which stressed out one of my vendors). Also, finalizing the details was last minute - they had us wait to do the final food payment the day before, which was a bit hectic as we had all our family from out of town to juggle too. Also, the bar service was slow - and strangely stingy with sangria (I the bride didn't get any sangria at my reception, but yet they still served some guests a "side stash"). For a tip - make sure you have a good plan to clean up at the end of the night, I would have gladly paid an extra 100-200 bucks to have the venue do it for us. But overall, this place is a fantastic deal, a lot of fun, and extremely reasonable for a price.

On the day of, she was an outstanding coordinator and left us not having to worry about a thing. She was amazing and handled everything from the ceremony, cocktail hour, to the reception and was calm, cool, and collected the entire time. One of the best things was that she made sure we were fed! During the photos after the ceremony, she had a waitress bring us the passed appetizers, and at dinner while we were walking from table to table she made us a plate for dinner so that when we sat down it was ready! The venue itself had an awesome rustic charm that provided a great setting for our wedding. It’s already well decorated, so we just needed to add small details! We received (and continue to receive) compliments on the food and have a lot of praise to give Plymouth Bay Catering for their exceptional food service. We would highly recommend Jones River Trading to anyone looking for a rustic feel that doesn’t break the bank but doesn’t skimp on the details!

She was very helpful with the lay out of tables making suggestions to make things flow better. She even sent me a text the morning of the wedding to make sure my center pieces were right! The entire staff at JRT were so friendly/helpful! Lucky for us they even had someone who could stitch up a hole in my husbands pants before he walked down the aisle! it’s different than other traditional wedding venues and absolutely stunning inside and out. The grounds are kept immaculate with gorgeous flowers in the entryway and the ceremony space, the interesting decor and and plethora of space inside makes for an incredible wedding. Mark, the gentleman who runs the catering company is kind and genuinely wants the best for his couples. He is willing to make wedding dreams come true if it means the bride and groom will be happy. We selected the smokehouse buffet and guests are still calling us saying how amazing the food was. DO NOT MISS OUT ON THE MACARONI AND CHEESE! It was a guest favorite (and ours!). Michelle, the onsite wedding coordinator may or may not be receiving an invitation to our family thanksgiving in the fall- we loved her that much! She was organized, attentive, and speaks with a kind and calming voice making it impossible to be stressed in the week leading up to the wedding. Anything we needed, she helped us make it happen. Our wedding day was perfect and I can say with certainty that it is fully because of Jones River Trading and their remarkable staff.

The staff was amazing and switched our ceremony site in 10 minutes flat when a thunderstorm rolled in and the new ceremony site indoors was just as beautiful as the outdoor spot! Michelle the coordinator was so calming and helpful and orchestrated my vision perfectly. I didn’t have to stress that things weren’t going to be set up as I wanted or it wouldn’t look how I wanted, she did it all to a tee! She was available any time I had stupid questions or was just stressing about the weather, she made me not worry and be able to completely enjoy our wedding day. The food: I cannot say enough how delicious everything was and how many compliments we received on the food! There was so much, I wanted to take all the leftovers home! The wait staff was attentive and brought all the passed apps to the bridal party during pictures to make sure no one missed anything. they were all professional and wonderful all through the night. I really can’t say enough about how awesome this place is and how I’d book them again in a second!

I was a little hesitant leaving all my decorations in their hands to set up but they could not have looked better. The day of our wedding went flawlessly and guests are still raving about the food! Both Mark and Michele assured us that they've seen everything, answered all our questions, and immediately put us at ease knowing that we were in excellent hands. I was so relieved when I found out Michele would be our day-of coordinator because of all the amazing reviews I'd read. She made sure that no detail was overlooked and instantly made all my stress during the week leading up to the wedding disappear. From the rehearsal, to walking down the aisle, to the reception and every detail in between, Michele was there to make sure everyone knew where to be and coordinated with all our vendors so the whole night ran smoothly. I wasn't one of those brides who forgets to eat during the whole reception because after all the rave reviews we'd heard about the food, there was no way I was going to miss it. They make all the food on-site, which eliminated the need to look elsewhere for a caterer. We opted for the smokehouse buffet and we and all our guests loved it. Michele even made plates for my husband and I, and brought us pieces of cake (which I also didn't want to miss)! The venue itself has so much character. We had our ceremony outdoors in a beautiful setting under a tree with a waterfall in the background. They can move the ceremony indoors in case of rain, too. The venue has a vintage/nautical look and guests kept coming up to us during the reception to tell us how much they enjoyed it. Long story short, our wedding day went perfectly and was everything we hoped it would be. I can't thank Michele enough for her meticulous eye for detail and all the rest of the staff who helped us along the way. If we could do it all over again we wouldn't change a thing (just wish the night didn't fly by so quickly)! My only hope is that somebody else I know will get married here so we can come back... this time as guests!

Michele and Mark are honest, caring, efficient, kind, and overall they are service oriented without seeming fake. 2) the venue. OMG!! The venue is unique, spacious, and absolutely beautiful. There is no need to drop a lot of money on flowers because JRTP has a natural beautiful outdoor area for ceremonies, and a full decorated interior for the reception. 3) the food. I've worked in the wedding industry and I've been to my fair share of weddings and it was hands down the best food I've ever eaten at a wedding. This statement was reiterated by all of my guests. 4) the cost. I still can't believe the service, quality of food, venue, attention, and care we got for the cost of everything. Do yourself a favor. Get married at Jones River Trading Post. Michele and Mark will do everything in their power to make your day absolutely perfect. I know they did that for me.

t. It was the first, and only, venue we looked at. The rope lights and tulle that already adorned the space was perfect, the other nautical decor was exactly what we were looking for. Leading up to the wedding, Michele was accessible and extremely helpful. She answered all of my questions and made sure everything was taken care of. When we arrived for the rehearsal, she let me help her set up my signage and other decor just the say I wanted it. The night of the wedding she was fantastic. Everything went ahead of schedule. She worked seamlessly with the DJ to make sure everything went smoothly. My guests all commented on how delicious the food was, how much food there was, and how beautiful the room looked. I highly recommend Jones River for your wedding if you're looking for a unique venue.

Chris was our coordinator and we can’t say enough wonderful things about him! We met with him when we toured the venue and we were lucky enough he took care of us on our wedding day as well. He took the time to make sure we ate during cocktail hour and had drinks served to us while we were outside taking pictures. He checked in with us throughout the night which made the night go by very smoothly and actually it didn’t fly by as quickly as I thought it would. He was very patient with us and coordinated things with the DJ to make sure everything flowed together. We’ve been married a month now and are still getting compliments on the food too! We would 100% recommend this venue, we have no doubts that our perfect night went so well because of the amazing staff at Jones River.

The only hard part was lack of e-mail contact, but that’s just my personal preference. The food was amazing, and the price per plate can’t be beat. The venue itself is gorgeous and super unique, which was important to us. We opted for the Champagne Toast package. Mary was our coordinator and she was amazing throughout and day of. I would recommend this spot to anyone who wants a gorgeous venue and amazing food at the right price.

They let us borrow props and helped us rent benches for the ceremony. The day of our wedding, Mary went above and beyond making sure everything ran smoothly and timing us throughout the day. Our guests raved about how incredible the space and food was (the food is seriously delicious). I can’t say enough good things about them. Thanks so much for giving us an amazing day!

We had chicken, beef, and fish for our meat options and everything was great. The venue looked amazing and they helped make the day stress free. They do offer the packages with the dj, photographer, flowers, limos and all that stuff, we didn't do that but i do wish we did! It's definitely cheaper than finding individual vendors. My only complaint about it was my husband and I had to go through the buffet to get our food, I felt one of the waiters should have come over, asked what we wanted, and grabbed food for us. Other than that the place is very reasonable price wise and the outside is amazing.

From our very first meeting with Mark we were impressed with the professional and courteous manner with which we were treated as well as all of the helpful hints and suggestions he offered us. Our wedding coordinator Mary was extremely helpful in helping my daughter plan this wedding from a distance and walked us through every step of the day on the actual day of the wedding, answering our questions and calming our nerves. The staff put out all of our decorations perfectly which saved us so much time that very exciting but nerve-wracking morning. The vendors with the champagne package were wonderful as well and made the job of coordinating our long distance plans between my daughter and her fiance who were in Wisconsin with all of the possibilities and nuances of planning a wedding here in Massachusetts! Everything was just as we all imagined it...and even better than we imagined it could be! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Jones River Trading Post to our friends and family for any special occasion . It was PERFECT.

She chased out wedding crashers, helped my Maid of Honor not lose her notes and made sure we knew when it was time to cut the cake. she went above and beyond.

Mark was easy to work with and we chose the vessel dining option which was perfect for us. Michelle was awesome to work with and made the day move smooth and efficient. She is very attentive to your issues and was always in contact with us, before and after the wedding. Thank you all so much for making our wedding day , stress free, beautiful and perfect! Everything looked amazing and we all had a great time! There venue is so well-decorated that you don't need to go overboard on floral arrangements or other decor. I just brought my own centerpieces, table numbers, and escort cards, and they handled the rest. The pricing is very reasonable and the location is great, very close to Plymouth for guests to do some sightseeing before and after the wedding. I couldn't have imagined a better day or location!

We received hundreds of compliments on the venue and especially the food, with many saying it 'was far too good to be wedding food'. It was true! Everything, from top to bottom, was phenomenal. We got tons of compliments on the food, which was done by their exclusive caterer, Plymouth Bay Catering Company. Mary and Michelle were the wedding coordinators, and they were awesome! They helped with the rehearsal, the ceremony and the reception. I had an extremely large wedding party and they did a great job getting everyone organized and in the right spot. We had a number of things to bring home with us after the wedding, but were staying in a hotel didn't have a car to transport everything. Michelle was kind enough to meet us back at Jones River the following day (her day off) so that we could pack the stuff up. We had a perfect day.
