JT was really great to work with. She was very easy going and brought a lovely demeanor to the process. Which was really great on the day of and made the experience of being photographed much easier than I would have expected. JT managed the guests/family members really well when trying to get everyone together. They commented that she was super patient! She was very committed to taking advantage of all opportunities to get photos before/after the ceremony and we have really great photos to enjoy!

JT Sander did a fabulous job photographing our wedding party. We loved the images – from beautiful portraits to fun, candid shots during the party. JT was seemingly unobtrusive while shooting the candids, and yet when we wanted to ask for a shot, she was magically right there! JT was a wonderful photographer! We reserved her for our wedding back in August and she was more than familiar with our wedding location. She timed all of her photos perfectly and was able to round up our family for photos. Although, there was some miscommunication where i asked if she could come two hours earlier for a "first look." She showed up, but ended up leaving two hours earlier to compensate. I wish I had clarified in the beginning that she stay the two hours and happily would have paid for the extra time. She was still wonderful but make sure you talk extensively about these things with your vendors. <3

We used JT Sanders for our daughter's sweet 16 held on January 1, 2019. Prior to the event over the summer of 2018, we hired JT for a photo shoot with my daughter (pictures to be used at her actual party). JT was super helpful and knowledgeable. I was so comfortable that I had stepped back and let her handle everything. The pictures came out amazing that our guest were raving about them at the party! On the day of the party, they were predicting a big snow storm in our area. I changed the time of the party quite a few times and JT was extremely easy to work with and super accommodating. She showed up at the party early to take portrait pictures of my daughter and our family. She worked the room and took amazing pictures from portraits, candid/action shots and more. 2 weeks later we got beautiful pictures from JT and we are extremely happy with the end result. We highly recommend JT and we hope to use her again in the future!!

Working the JT Sanders and Sam was a delightful experience. They handled themselves in a very professional non-intrusive manner! They were incredible during our weekend full of different ceremonies. They captured every guest with mostly candid shots and did the family photos in a speedy manner ...so us along with our guest were able to just enjoy the festivities. The pictures came out stunning! When I got engaged I knew that I would not get married without JT being there with me. I had seen JT work a number of events and what stood out most to me, besides her incredible work, was how well she handles with ease and professionalism an often times very stressful day. Family gatherings that people look forward to for decades can be very tense and family members that fight can make it all the worse! JT handles all of it with ease and keeps everyone smiling throughout the day. There is no event or challenge she cannot handle. She goes up and beyond for each of her clients and she understands just how important your day is. JT, we are so happy you were part of our day!

JT was an absolute pleasure to work with. From day one, she was nothing but helpful, insightful, and supportive, especially when we had crazy wedding planning questions/concerns. She was incredibly organized the day of the wedding and kept everyone under control, even with a 16 person bridal party plus another 15-20 family members! We chose to take all of our portraits before the ceremony and allotted about 2-3 hours beforehand to get them done. We were done with them in about an hour and a half with plenty of time to spare! And with my OCD habits, this was AMAZING! I was able to walk around the venue and see everything put together and spend some time with family and friends before the craziness began. JT then even found time to grab my husband and I before the ceremony to take some pictures with us alone. I knew at this point that the rest of the night would run smooth and it did! I remember JT saying to us the first time we met that she would watch us and see who we interacted with and be able to capture moments from there, and boy did she do just that. She did whatever it took to get great shots, she was on ladders, chairs, and all over the venue capturing each angle of our wedding day. And it really shows in our pictures! JT put me at ease throughout the whole day, she knew exactly what she was doing. I didn't know what to expect going into the day, I wondered if I would have to ask for specific pictures or poses or people to be in pictures, but she had it covered! There were so many pictures she took that I had no idea even happened and it really helped to relive the day! Myself, my husband, and a lot of our guests continuously commented on how we didn't even know when JT was taking pictures or notice that she was around, which I think is an amazing thing. There are a lot of nerves on the day of your wedding, and sometimes a camera in your face isn't helpful, but JT knew just how to maneuver throughout the day without making us feel any more anxious or nervous. We would choose JT over and over again- our pictures came out amazing and she was great to work with! We can't thank you enough JT!

J.T. and her assistant were great and very patient with the wedding party (there were 14 bridesmaids and groomsmen). They were able to keep us all on the timeline and get all the great shots I requested ahead of time. We were even able to shoot at an additional location on our way to the reception. The pictures were great and J.T. was very knowledgeable and talked us through everything. At the reception it seemed like she was everywhere silently capturing everyone celebrating. Our pictures were put on CD and we can't wait to order an album!

We worked with JT for our wedding in December 2017, and I honestly can’t say enough about how great she was to work with. From the start, she was very accommodating: she came to us in NYC for an initial meeting, where it was clear immediately that she was a total pro. We instantly felt comfortable with her, and based on our chat with her and the samples she brought, it was an easy decision to book her. On the wedding day, JT was a dream to work with. We were, of course, a bit nervous and distracted, and it was such a relief to have a photographer who was able to get all the shots she knew we’d want. We were especially thrilled with the candid shots taken during the reception, since they really captured the energy of our guests throughout the night. And to boot, she was SO quick getting our photos back to us! We had them within 3 weeks of our wedding. My husband and I both highly, HIGHLY recommend JT for anybody’s wedding. We were honestly blown away and thrilled with the results.

She took the time to find out what shots were most important to us on our special day and not only captured those but captured the magic of the day! The first thing I noticed about J.T. Sander was her professionalism. She responds quickly and professionally for all inquiries. She has a lot of experience which shows in the quality of her work. She ended up being the only photographer at our wedding and she captured moments that I wasn't even aware were going on. Many of my guests commented afterwards about how great our photographer was, and this was before anyone even saw any of the pictures she took. She captured everything she could and accommodated any additional photo requests that our guests asked of her. After interviewing a number of photographers, my Mom and I were getting worried that we would not find one who seemed genuinely interested in us, rather than just a ‘job’. Upon meeting with JT, all our fears went away. Her professionalism is second to none. The guests even commented that she was not in their face and seemed to blend into the venue! It wasn’t until I saw my friend’s phone pictures that I noticed JT, nose up to her camera, snapping shots. Whether it was posed or candid, JT made sure she got the best picture before moving onto another shot- with speed and accuracy! JT brought along a second photographer, Sam, who was equally adept at photography and incredibly easy to work with also. On 2 occasions my Mom wanted specific pictures with relatives and friends and Sam and JT were more than happy to arrange the setting for the pictures. Whenever JT thought it was a good time for a particular shot (we were married outside), she would grab my husband and I for a picture which she wanted to capture for us. JT also took our engagement pictures. She traveled a distance to get to an appropriate place for us (which ended up to be 2 locations in New York City). They are wonderful shots and some of them were displayed at our wedding. You can tell from JT’s calm demeanor that she truly enjoys her job and that shows in her work. Our engagement pictures are fabulous and we are eagerly awaiting the ones from the wedding!

Choosing JT Sander as our photographer was one the best decisions we made for our wedding! Our package included an engagement shoot so we had a chance to meet with and see some of JT's work months before our event - which only further solidified our decision. Her easy going style helped us feel comfortable and also ensured that she got along with our guests. She had a wonderful vision for our posed shots, but also captured many beautiful candid shots of us with our family and friends. She provides a superb service without any hassle and in the process makes you feel like she's been a longtime friend! In the end, it's the pictures that matter and we couldn't be happier with ours!

What can I say about working with JT...she's absolutely amazing. My husband and I met with her for the first time and spent 3 hours with her. We had the most fun meeting with her. She got a chance to know us and by the end of that first appointment we felt like she was family. On the day of the wedding, she was right where she needed to be. Jodi is a fantastic photographer and her talent is beyond comparison. From the first meeting through finalizing all of our photos Jodi is extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. She is prompt with answering emails and has plenty of experience to help the stressed bride. She did my engagement photos and wedding photos and after all was said and done it was hard to select the final photos for our wedding album because there were so many excellent shots! I would recommend JT Sander to everyone I know because I am a more than satisfied customer.

Jodi photographed 3 of my children's Bar & Bat Mitzvahs and is currently booked to do my 4th. Ceremonial shots done 2 days prior to the events captured the beauty and solemnity needed for a religious ritual. Her experience with Bar/Bat Mitzvahs allowed her to get all the ritual shots quickly and efficiently and thus left time for some artistic shots as well. At the party, family shots were beautifully set up and thoughtfully accommodated relatives with physical challenges. The children's friends were playfully arranged--no stiff standing groups. During the party, Jodi and her assistant were unobtrusive and I was very pleased and pleasantly surprised when I saw the proofs as I hardly noticed her during the affair. The candids and (decorative) room shots were superb. As we miscalculated sunlight for one of the affairs, Jodi took my daughter aside and staged artistic and whimsical photographs that really fit the theme and tone of the party. The proofs on CD arrived within weeks! (not months, like the experience of a friend). I cannot comment on the quality of the finished product as (I am embarrassed to admit this, but-) we have not actually ever sat down and planned/ordered albums. I have all the photographs on a CD (which I own), and she assures me if we ever get it together, she can still make us the albums. Jodi is very easy to talk to. She listens and gets all the shots you want and then uses her own artistic sense to get the shots you didn't know you wanted. She itemized the contract so we were able to choose timeframes and specifics that fit our budget. I whole-heartedly recommend her for any occasion.

We weren't going to use a photographer but my fiancé insisted. I'm so happy he did! We had so much fun at our wedding that we couldn't wait to see the pictures. It made the day live on forever. JT did an amazing job capturing the joy and happiness in us and all of our guests. We will use her for future pictures to help preserve our memories together.

What was particularly wonderful about JTSanders' photographs was the way she captured the personalities of the participants in an artful way. Not only did she leave us all with beautiful photographs of the bride and groom but also of the joy the rest of us were experiencing from the youngest child to the bride's grandmother. Of course the most important were the bride and groom, and she was able to give us all an accurate and permanent record of their delight in becoming man and wife. I don't think you can do better than having Jodie as your photographer. She's as good as it gets.

Jodi was recommended to me by another family who was so pleased with Jodi's work we hired her for my son's Bar Mitzvah. When it came to my daughter's Bat Mitzvah, I left it up to Jodi to choose the photos for the album. Hew work is incredible and she has the perfect eye. I would recommend Jodi to anybody. My now husband and I got engaged in May and were planning a wedding for that October. Needless to say I was very stressed with only about 4 months to plan the whole thing. That carried over to our wedding day as JT and Chelsea took, (what I later learned), were hundreds of pictures! It was never forced, uncomfortable or intrusive. We all had an incredible time and JT and Chelsea captured the love, happiness and celebration of our whole day with the most beautiful pictures. As having worked in the entertainment industry for years, I had my choice of many photographers. We chose JT because of her warmth, personal attention, thoroughness in preparation - and the quality of her work. She exceeded all our expectations. Total pro before, during and after our wedding. Was polite, respectful yet knew how and when to get the job done. Was intimately involved in making sure both our ceremony and reception went flawless - and we all got the shots we wanted. We had JT photograph our winter wedding and the entire experience was fantastic. We had a large snowstorm the day before the wedding and JT was able to get beautiful shots of us out in the snow. She really took advantage of the snow-covered trees, the fireplace at the Inn where we were married and all of the other fun winter touches which brings back memories of that day every time we look through our photo album. Everyone at our wedding commented on how comfortable they felt with JT, which was exactly how we wanted the day to be. She really worked with us to capture the moment and the candid shots of us and our guests are some of my favorites. She helped us prepare a gorgeous, customized photo album of our favorite shots which contained both color and black and white pictures, which is something we were looking for. We highly recommend JT and we feel really lucky to have found her!

Having J.T.Sander as the photographer of our daughter's wedding solidified the fact that when my other daughter gets married, J.T. will be there too. J.T. was a "no stress" photographer for the bride or the family, and coming from a large family, I have seen many stressed out brides. She captured everything and never interfered with anything. She kept the entire wedding party at ease and made the formal picture session fun for everyone. My daughter, Tess, and son in law, Mike, received a proof book of pictures, and there was nothing they didn't love. They were asked to select about 100 photos for the album, but gave up...picked 25 and then gave J.T. full artistic license. They received an album that told the story of their day as no one else could. J.T. captured moments that my wife and I missed, as hosting a large affair pulls you in different directions. One of our favorite pages was when our younger daughter sang "Over the Rainbow" to the bride and groom. With her assistant she captured the moment beautifully, including a picture with my younger daughter in the background singing, while the couple listened. The photo was natural. J.T. and Chelsea knew exactly where to be at every moment. Dealing with her was a pleasure from beginning to end and I recommend her to anyone who is planning an affair. In fact, some of our guests asked me for her information as they were impressed with her wonderful sense of humor, attitude and professionalism. Oh...My son is getting married in October. J.T. is the photographer. We didn't set the date until we knew we could get her! That's how wonderful she is.

J.T. was great. We used her for our engagement photos and our wedding. I have seen a lot of photographers at work since my wedding four years ago, and what I now full appreciate about J.T. was that she made sure we got the photos we wanted. It was not easy with our large crazy families but she made it happen. When the day is over all you have left are those pictures and i was so happy to have so many great family and wedding party shots. J.T. really is a great photographer. My husband and I get nervous in from of the camera but she made us comfortable and helped us to relax. She also made a photo book that we love. I treasure the book she made which included some great special effects with color and lighting. Overall J.T. is great. I highly recommend her as a photographer for your wedding. She listens, she knows how difficult it is to get people to pose and get a great shot. She offers great packages and was willing to work with us to create a package that we wanted. I was recommended to JT Sander Photography by the wedding venue I chose. Upon speaking to JT I was instantly comforted by the fact that she was very sincere and knowledgeable about the types of photos a bride might want for her wedding. I was pretty clueless about what I wanted besides the traditional group photos and let her decide what photos to take on the big day. When we received the book of proofs to choose from I was so excited to see so many great shots that I wanted to have and give to my family. (I have to add that I normally stay out of family photo and don't like to have my picture taken!) JT did a great job capturing our day and I absolutely recommend her to any of my friends when they are looking for a photographer.

We contracted with JT Sander for our wedding on August 19, 2012. Prior to our wedding day, we had JT take our engagement photos. She chose an outstanding location and made us feel very comfortable. The pictures were amazing, so we knew that our wedding pictures would be outstanding as well. On our wedding day, she brought two assistants to capture our special day as well as to take particular group shots that we requested. JT and her team never got in our way, yet they were able to provide us with quality service. We were so pleased when we saw our proofs online! We've been unable to put our album together because it's so hard to select from all of the fabulous photos!!! We're sure you'll be as happy with JT as we were!!!!

JT was fantastic! She took a million different pictures and wasn't in my guests faces to get the pictures! She knew all the best spots at The Round Hill House to take photographs. When everything was done she let me work with her to create my book, and she has the coolest selection of bridal books! I didn't do a video at my wedding and don't regret it at all, JT captured everything beautifully!

the candids are nice;the photographer was a bit of a disapppointment. we requested black and white film and she didn't take any she was a little rude when dealing with a large group and she was quite tardy with supplying us with the proofs. in the end she definitely put a damper on the day and the picture process afterwards.
