Oh my god. Absolute Perfection!! Every guest could not stop talking about how amazing the food was, even a week later and people are still talking about it. Working with Liz was an incredible experience - she is so knowledgeable, brings a fantastic energy, and her talent is unmatched. We would recommend Just a Taste for any catering needs a million times over.

Liz was so easy to work with. She comes with a wealth of knowledge, helps coordinate dinner rentals, and makes incredible food. Honestly, I have never been to a wedding where the food was raved about. I received so many positive food compliments including how good it was and how fast the buffet line moved. She was always fast to respond and made my experience a one-stop shop for so many of my wedding needs. 10/10 would recommend Just a Taste and Liz!

Oh my wow!!! We used Just a Taste for our food, bar tending, and desserts and I cannot rave enough about them. I had people commenting all night on the amazing food, and it was certainly earned! As if that isn’t enough, Liz was so fun to work with, very communicative, and ridiculously helpful. Taryn, who ran the show day of, was the sweetest and most efficient woman you will ever meet. She coordinated with everyone so well and made sure to check in with me and my husband to see if we needed a plate of apps, a drink, dessert, or anything else while we were being whisked every which way. Definitely plan to recommend to everyone!

Liz and her team were incredible to work with! Not only was the food amazing, but she is worked with all of our dietary restrictions and made everyone feel taken care of! Liz catered our rehearsal dinner and wedding and we would hire her again in a heartbeat!

Liz and her team were just so amazing. They were so flexible, helpful, and creative. We had a couple of requests to make our day feel unique, including some specific dessert table requests, that she executed flawlessly. The day of her staff were friendly, professional, and she herself was incredibly attentive. She made creating a menu within our budget so easy, there was no nickel and diming over the requests we had for her staff, she worked with us on our rentals, and she was remarkably affordable for how amazing the food and service was. We were SO impressed and our guests were raving about the food!

I would give Liz and her team all the stars if I could. Everyone at my wedding was obsessed with her and her food. She helped me so much and made sure everything was ready to go with our rentals and table settings. The food was PHENOMENAL. Every person told us it was the best food they ever had a wedding. She checked on me throughout the day and always made sure I had a drink and food if I needed it. I would have a thousand weddings just to hire her again. Also coming from out of state made planning more difficult and she could not have been easier to work with. Make sure you get the gnocchi!!

Liz and her staff were so great to work with!! We were coming from out of state and were able to set up a tasting super easy. We were so impressed with her food and vibe. She was super helpful with rental questions for table settings. She was also beyond helpful through this 2020 covid craziness and flexible even when we had to change our plans. Everyone LOVED the food and is still talking about how delicious and beautiful our meal was!

I wish I could give them 10 Stars! Liz and her staff were professional, kind, and simply just amazing. The chef brought my husband and i snack plates during photos because we hadn't eaten all day and brought us water after the ceremony. They were also very processional and helpful for all our guests needs day of. Not to mention the food was AMAZING. Literally the best wedding food ever. We had so many compliments on the food, and they were great to make vegan and vegetarian options! We also had Liz make whoopie pies for us for dessert and they were a hit! BEST CATERER I have ever worked with. Thanks Liz and Team!

The food was delicious and amazing! Every dish was beautifully presented! It was an enjoyable experience to work with Liz and her staff. Would highly recommend if you live in Bozeman.

Liz and her staff we so amazing!! She worked with us to get the perfect menu and was able to incorporate a family recipe. We arranged to have salmon flown down from Alaska for one of our main courses (I'm originally from there), and she was so accommodating and easy to get in touch with throughout the process. My guests loved her staff, especially the bartenders. At the end of the night, her staff went the extra mile and helped my coordinator pack everything up so it was ready to go the next day and all we had to do was load it into our cars; no cleanup necessary at all. Our guests came from around the world--several of them are pretty particular when it comes to food--and they all raved about the quality of our meal. I was very impressed, especially given she traveled from Bozeman to outside of Helena and did not have a full kitchen to work with at our venue. Definitely order the Mac and Cheese--it was my favorite. And word on the street is she will be working with our salmon guy for future events--you can't get better than Copper River sockeye straight from the source. Thank you Liz!

Liz and her team were such a phenomenal choice for our wedding! Our guests raved about dinner and specifically the ample variety and quality of the food. They were very pleasant to work with, prompt and organized, and Liz gave us a wonderful preview of the food prior to working out our contract. She was prepared and flexible and thought of several things that we hadn’t considered that really added to the experience. From start to finish, Liz and her team extended themselves to help create the wedding of our dreams and we would hire Just a Taste Catering again in a heartbeat!

We live out of state and weren't able to taste the food before the wedding day, but Liz did not disappoint! The appetizers were fantastic. We had pulled pork, chicken, and a few sides which were also amazing. We had a ton of compliments on how great the food was! Liz was also really great to work with and responded to emails quickly. Liz also brought out appetizers to me and my groom while we were taking pictures, so that we didn't miss out. Our dinner was buffet style, but Liz plated our dinner so we didn't have to stand in line.

Liz and her crew are seriously the best. The food was delicious and we are still receiving compliments about it! Not to mention her servers and bartenders went above a beyond to take stress off of us and make sure all of our guest were comfortable and had a great time.

This catering team went above and beyond for our wedding. It goes without saying that the food was fabulous and exactly what we ordered. What really impressed me was all the little things they did to go above and beyond without us even asking. First, they re-arranged a couple of decorations on the dessert, bar, and dinner tables to look a zillion times better than when we had set them up earlier. Then they specially served our several gluten free guests each a slice of flourless chocolate torte that we had brought in at the last minute because they couldn’t have our cupcakes. Everything went so smoothly and couldn’t have been more perfect!

Liz and team were the caterers for our entire weekend. We had a large rehearsal dinner, wedding, and Sunday breakfast. Our events were handled in the utmost professional manner, with great quality food and service. Liz also helped us find more economical options for auxiliary pieces for our events. In Bozeman, you find that when you say wedding, most vendors just tack on more cost, with Liz you get amazing quality and support at a a competitive rate. I would recommend her services 10-times over for any Bride.

Liz and her team catered our wedding in September 2018 at Aspen Ridge Ranch in Red Lodge, MT, and the food was absolutely outstanding! She was so easy to work with and her staff were courteous and professional. We got some many compliments from our guests that it was the BEST wedding food they have ever had! She did an excellent job coming all the way from Bozeman to Red Lodge, and just nailed the food. We could not be more pleased, and would highly, highly, highly recommend her to anyone. The bison tenderloin was to die for, among everything else on our menu being scrumptious. She's incredibly talented and thanks, Liz and team for making our wedding deliciously memorable!

Liz Kilby, owner of Just a Taste Catering, is a chef extraordinaire! She exudes culinary confidence, enthusiasm, and optimism. Our daughter was married this past weekend (8/18/18) and Liz catered both the welcome dinner and the wedding meal. Both menus were very non-traditional but reflective of the bride and groom’s unique tastes—a pig roast barbeque for the welcome dinner and an Asian inspired braised beef short ribs and steamed red snapper dinner for the wedding. Everything was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. All of our guests were very impressed. Liz and her staff are the best and are capable of making any event an epicurean delight!

Highly recommend! Liz is super easy to work with, her staff is the best: friendly and easy going. And the food....the best. I planned wedding from Ohio, but Liz made everything super easy.

Liz and the rest at Just a Taste were amazing and easy to work with. We opted for the BBQ and all of the guests raved about every food item from the apps, to the brisket, to the corn bread. Cooking brisket is hard enough, let alone for a catered wedding on a ranch, but they knocked it out of the park! In addition to the food, the service was impeccable from the passed appetizers to the bar staff. Really a top notch operation. They didn't even mind driving all the way from Bozeman to Helena to cater our event! Upon wedding ending, the staff quickly put remaining food/drinks in storage in a organized fashioned making clean up a breeze. I couldn't imagine a better food vendor for our wedding. -Peter & Gina

A five star review is not enough! First off, the food was amazing. We tasted food from a few different caterer’s, and Just A Taste was the best by far. We loved the food so much we decided to book Liz and her crew for the rehearsal dinner along with the reception. Our wedding was a couple weekends ago (7/14/18) and the food was talked about by everyone. So if you are looking for outstanding food, then this is your caterer. Now that we have reviewed how great the food was, I want to talk about Liz herself. I can’t believe how easy and amazing she was to work with. She really went above and beyond. She helped organizing everyone from the plates and silverware, to the ice and table decorations. She really helped us plan a lot of aspects other than just the catering. Her and her staff are truly awesome, and were the best venders we worked with during the whole wedding process. If you are looking for someone that is very friendly, easy going, professional, and all around an awesome person, Liz is your lady!

Just a Taste did a great job at our wedding! Liz was very easy to work with and even let us go a little "off menu" by providing our own bison meat. She was accommodating and worked with me to get everything we wanted to fit in to our budget. The food was excellent!

We had an amazing experience working with Liz to cater our wedding at the Big Yellow Barn this summer. We planned from out of town and Liz was very responsive via email and phone to work out the details. I wanted to keep it simple but elegant and the menu Liz proposed for the buffet was perfect. My mom and a friend who live in town did the tasting with Liz and we hardly changed a thing because it was all delicious. On the day of, Liz and her staff were very attentive, professional, and relaxed and made sure both the groom and I got the passed appetizers and drinks (and they weren't even the bartenders). They also made sure the band got their food and drink and were able to relax before getting the party started. Liz and her staff went above and beyond and it was a bit like having a day of coordinator and caterer all in one. I can't imagine anything having gone better and both the groom and I were able to just enjoy our people and the evening. I also went through Liz to get linens and had her make some quiches for brunch the next day which she DELIVERED. She and her staff are pros and all you need to do is make a few decisions and let them do their jobs, which they do perfectly.

Just a Taste Catering literally saved my wedding day. 40 days before my wedding my original caterer backed out. I found Just a Taste and Liz was an dream to work with! She was always quick to get back to me (I was planning a destination wedding from MN). The food was the best food I have ever had at a wedding! My guests were blown away by the taste, quality and presentation of the food. We had both salmon and beef tenderloin. I am still dreaming about the beef :) Look no further for a caterer, you will not be disappointed!

Chef Liz and her team were a dream to work with. Liz is extremely personal, organized, kind, thoughtful, and a fantastic chef. She created a menu that perfectly suited our tastes. Liz from Just a Taste was amazing throughout the entire process. Not only was the food absolutely DELICIOUS (we had grilled chicken and pulled-pork sandwiches) but she and her staff took care of every single detail from start to finish.

Chef Liz is absolutely amazing. Not only was the food authentic and really good, but she also really worked with us to make sure the presentation was right and that everything went together with our wedding theme. We really felt like Liz was invested in our wedding, and even though we were paying her for the food she ended up providing a lot of event planning help as well. We would highly, highly recommend Just a Tast catering to anyone that wants delicious, affordable food that feels very high end.
