Kalypso's is a restaurant wedding venue situated in Reston, VA. This charming family-run sports tavern combines exquisite waterfront surroundings with delicious Greek dishes for exceptional celebration experiences full of flavor and fun. Located on Lake Anne, only 30 minutes from Washington DC, the restaurant provides the perfect backdrop for engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, receptions, and more. Kalypso's is owned and operated by George and Vicky Hadjikyriakou, a brother-and-sister duo with a proud Greek heritage. Their family first opened Kalypso’s in 1965, and the siblings worked there as teenagers, gradually learning the ins and outs of the business. Eventually, George and Vicky took over the day-to-day management of the restaurant before relocating to their current location over ten years ago. Together with their team, they specialize in serving up classic Greek dishes, as well as Italian and American favorites prepared using the freshest locally sourced ingredients. Offering a selection of indoor and outdoor event spaces to choose from, Kalypso's can host wedding celebrations of all shapes and sizes. The outdoor patio is perfect for larger gatherings and offers beautiful waterside views with a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Intimate sit-down meals can be hosted in the Dining Room, allowing guests to get to catch up over delicious meals and cozy surroundings. The entire restaurant can also be rented out for larger private events with all of your friends and family. Catering can be provided but the in-house catering team with popular dining options including classic falafel, grilled halloumi, fresh calamari, greek-style lamb chops, and more.
