Kari Bjorn Photography is a full-service wedding photography studio. With a passion for vibrant images and authentic storytelling, Kari devotes himself to capturing your wedding's uniqueness and uses his artistic talents to ensure that you can hold onto your memories for years to come. Kari puts in the effort to make your images look effortless! Born in Reykjavik, Iceland, Kari Bjorn began his career as a chef. He worked in Michelin-starred restaurants in both the US and Europe before deciding to pursue photography. Attending Parsons School of Design in New York City, he studied the ins and outs of the industry and went on to work with a number of well-known clients like InStyle and Vanity Fair. Weddings are among his favorite events to document and he enjoys embracing genuine moments with the lens of his camera. During your sessions with him and throughout your wedding, Kari photographs in a quiet manner to snap moments in a natural way. He offers a variety of print options, including post cards, canvases, and save-the-dates. Film photography on 35 and 120mm film and GIFs are also available, letting you look back on your wedding in different ways.

he way, and captured moments I didn’t even know he was there for until I saw the photos. He was so funny and easy going that it was easy for everyone to relax in front of his camera. Even the most camera shy people at our wedding raved about how comfortable he made them feel. Throughout the planning process he was easy to reach if we needed him and it felt like he read my mind with how easily he adhered to the theme of our wedding. He even delivered the most gorgeous gifs I’ve ever seen! He never once questioned the non-traditional elements of our wedding. As a queer couple in Arkansas, one of my concerns was finding vendors who we would be comfortable around (and vice versa). He never asked any question he didn’t need to and never once made us feel awkward. I couldn’t recommend him enough. If you want to see yourself and all the people you love in the most colorful, genuine, and artistic photos you’ve ever seen, then he is the right photographer for you!
