Kate & Kayla Musical Duo, based in Honolulu, HI, offers beautiful musical performances for weddings and other special occasions. We're a duo who met at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. With over seven years of performance experience and four years singing together, we bring a heartfelt, professional sound to every event we play. We're also both independent artists with original music.
Whether you're planning a proposal, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, or even need a DJ set to keep the party going—we're here to make it magical. We perform with guitar, piano, and 'ukulele harmonies and cover a wide range of songs to match your vibe and vision.
It would be our dream to write a custom song just for you—or even change the lyrics of a favorite tune to create a fun, personalized surprise for your partner.

- KateMusician & Co-founderAt 23 years old, I’ve been passionate about music my entire life, starting piano lessons at age five. Over time, I discovered a deep love for singing and decided to build a career around it. Performing and releasing music under my artist name, Girl in the Garden, I embrace a wide range of genres—from country and folk to pop, indie, EDM, and even hyperpop and bluegrass. If it’s a style, I’m excited to explore it through songwriting. Raised on a small ranch in Idaho, my roots keep me grounded, and when I’m not making music, you can find me working as a wrangler, balancing my love for the outdoors with my artistic journey.
