They were flexible with us since my fiancee and I were long distance, and ensured we could have meetings when she was in town, and were available for Facetime calls when necessary. I absolutely can not recommend Wedgewood and Ken Caryl Vista more!!

believer in honest reviews as I'm a person that always reads them, good and bad. Also, all of these issues have been discussed with Audrey, the GM of Wedgewood. We worked with Amanda and Heidi mostly and a little bit with Kade. All were very helpful in explaining the choices to us and we really appreciate them! So over a year of planning with a very detailed 18 page plan of the entire event. I assumed they would follow this since its something they discussed with us line by line throughout the process and at the final two meetings. It was not. As the Mother of the Bride, I wanted to arrive at the venue relaxed and ready to celebrate. Instead I found myself running around helping to correct things. Guest book was not in the right area (minor and would have been a non issue if this was the only problem). After moving that to the correct table, I walked in to find napkins were not placed on the table the way my daughter and sil had requested. So I began correcting that and someone from KC assisted. Then come to find out the cocktail hour was set up in the reception room since it was too cold and snowy to have it outdoors. Plan B all along was to have it in the fireplace room. But that room was set up for a ceremony (not sure if it was from earlier or for the next day). Amanda was able to get her staff to flip it immediately, moving the mobile bar in there and the table that was set up with appetizers. All the while, guests were waiting outside in the cold. This was something that had been discussed in detail so not really sure how this was not done in advance The final issue...my daughter, the bride, was served cantaloupe even tho it was listed clearly she was allergic. This concerned us as there were other guests with severe allergies that we could only hope were followed. In spite of all this, we really did LOVE the venue and the rest of the evening went off without a hitch. Food was delicious, staff was attentive, venue looked amazing! Vendors: we used their vendor for cake, Mulberrys, and absolutely loved them. Cake was beautiful and tasted amazing!! We also used their DJ vendor and was extremely pleased with them. The communication with the bride and groom was awesome and she did a wonderful job! Florist...we did not use their florist as they couldnt guarantee they could actually provide what my daughter wanted. Specifically said they could not do the centerpeices she requested but also her bouquet. Photographer/videographer-we did not use the preferred vendor for this either. Lack of information on their website and then the disinterest in answering any of our questions left us very uneasy. So we searched out and found an amazing photographer and videographer on our own! The ceremony was held offsite earlier in the day so I have no comments about that! All in all, I'm glad I arrived early enough to correct things. And would choose them again! I'm hoping they can learn from our event and work harder to follow the bride and grooms wishes! Thank you to Amanda for being so excited everytime she talked with bride & groom, Heidi for helping us thru some of the details and Kade for the super quick responses. And also to Audrey for talking with me a few days after the event and listening to all my concerns! We really do appreciate all of you!

ng day! We also worked with or corresponded with Kade and Sydney, and both of them were also amazing. We chose Ken Caryl Vista by Wedgewood because it made the wedding planning process seamless. My husband and I both work full time and I am also in grad school. First let me start off with the venue: it is beautiful. It is hard to find at first when you're driving in because there are many businesses around there, but once you enter the venue, it's very pretty. We had looked at other Wedgewood locations around the Denver area and settled on Ken Caryl Vista because we loved the view of the foothills and the mix of rustic and modern decor the venue offered. The venue provides in house catering, and the food was amazing. We had two guests at our wedding with severe allergies to most of the things used in the dishes they make, so the chef went out of his way to make plated meals for those guests. The chef also accommodated my vegetarian diet, vegan guests, gluten free guests, and guests with nut allergies. They also have an in house bar and bartenders. My husband and I opted for the open bar in our package. Another great thing about choosing Ken Caryl Vista and Wedgewood overall is that they provide the tables, chairs, linens, silverware, and charger plates. We were able to choose between gold or silver charger plates, and a plethora of colors for table linens and napkins. The venue contracts with vendors such as bakeries, DJs, florists, photographers, etc. You can choose to work with the people they contract with, or choose your own. This made the process SO easy-the florist and the baker and the DJ reached out to US first, because they had been contacted by the venue. We ended up working with everyone they suggested, but picked our own photographer. Overall, we had an amazing experience, and so did our guests. I wish we could do it all again!

They were extremely flexible with what we hoped for in our reception and were patient in walking through every step with us. Also, we (and all of our guests) LOVED the food :) We can not recommend them enough and are so grateful they were a part of such an important day in our lives!

The food was amazing - our guests were all raving about it being the best food they've had at a wedding, and the cake was delicious and beautiful. The venue's recommended DJ was awesome! Marco kept us and our guests on the dancefloor the whole time. I've gotten so many compliments from everyone about how perfect the day was, and I'm so happy we decided to go with Wedgewood. 100/10.

for our big day Amanda was encouraging and kind. For the final meeting and day of our coordinator Kade was everything! They were supportive, funny, and kept us moving at the just right pace. Our banquet captain Trevor was so helpful at the end of the night and wrote us a personalized note. The food is great, the staff is focused on the couple, our bartender (Haley) was freaky fast, and the venue is a perfect space for a raging good time. Ken Caryl Vista was perfect for our wedding; I highly recommend this venue and company.

We live about an hour and a half from this venue and they mailed out our wedding planner for us and scheduled an appointment to go over the book in detail which was amazing! If your deciding on rather or not to book a tour with this venue DO IT! The venue is breath taking and the ladies working here are outstanding!

The indoor/ outdoor options were a must with snow, and the reception area made for easy flow and lots of mingling. Simply gorgeous. Everyone had a fantastic celebration!

day was even better than I could have imagined. We got married in February and the staff had a solid backup plan in case of bad weather. Luckily, we got to have the ceremony outside, and it was absolutely lovely! All of our guests said they had a blast, and Audrey did an amazing jo keeping us on track throughout the day. They set up all of our decor and desserts exactly how we explained it, and we loved that so many things were included with this venue! They even gifted an upgrade for our chairs the day of. Cannot wait to refer all future brides to this venue!

it wasn’t $2 to upgrade to a fancier napkin. The photographer wasn’t to expensive, I chose and outside option. The flowers were beautiful. The cake was exactly what I envisioned. The food was on point. I had a small wedding. Less than 40 people. And every single person told me how impressed they were. How organized and how delicious the food was. A cousin of mine pointed out how she’s been to hundreds of weddings and this was by far one of her top 5! I 100% recommend this location!

Our banquet captain Michaela was on top of everything throughout the reception and personally delivered me more tortellini than I could have imagined and sent us off with the sweetest goody bag of all the leftovers, A+ job in my books! While we only had the brief opportunity of working with Heidi for our rehearsal, she knew exactly what we needed so that we had energy in our practice to make it that much stronger on the day of. I can't believe it has already come and gone, but it wouldn't feel this way if everything wasn't exactly as we needed. Thank you Ken Caryl Vista team for holding us together through all of my tears! We love you!

When I was venue shopping for my wedding, I wanted to find the place I thought would make me feel the most stress free, and boy did I find the best of the best in Colorado. My wedding coordinator Heidi Mentz was absolutely incredible. She made my childhood dream wedding come to life. I couldn't have been more lucky to have her help me plan my day. The food, bar service, dinner service (servers) and DJ were out of this world. There was not a moment where someone was waiting in line for a drink, nor was there a full plate of food left over, and NEVER an empty dance floor. To say my guests and I had a wonderful time is an understatement. It will be a day I remember forever. Thank you Ken Caryl!!
