Out of all the frustration of planning a wedding dealing with LA Banquets was by far the single worst vendor, they have cheated us out of thousands of dollars and even though they were not open and couldn't fullfill their contractual obligation they decided to give us "credit" instead of returning our money, despite repeated assurances by their staff that we will get it back.
Avoid dealing with these shady people. Booking LA Banquets was the single worst mistake of our wedding planning and our most expensive one.

covid we had to postpone. We postponed until February 2021. Around February the venue was still not open so my now husband and I decided to get married in a smaller ceremony at a different outdoor venue. Brandview promised us our money back several times and every time I call to ask they give me an excuse. Finally they emailed stating they are keeping our money for 5 years if we want to use. I don’t plan on getting married again or using this venue. I just want our money back.
So if ur a future bride. My big recommendation is stay away. They will ruin ur event and steal from you.

to take place. My husband and I had already made a five figure deposit in the initial scheduling. Sarine was our “coordinator” for Brandview. Before all this, she was already very unresponsive and it was a constant chase to speak to her from leaving multiple messages and sending her numerous text messages. The only time I would hear from her was in the beginning when she wanted to collect money. So that already was giving me a bad taste in my mouth but I remained hopeful. Definitely a red flag!!!! After we realized our wedding was not able to take place, we were pressured into rescheduling to October 17th 2020. Considering nothing was promised Due to Covid it was truly unprofessional and unethical to ask for more cash deposit when nothing was guaranteed and the city was still on lockdown. It is now December 2020, my wedding has not taken place, and a member from my family has passed due to covid, so my husband and I decided not to have a wedding due to the current circumstances and grief. One of the few times someone was able to speak to me, a man by the name of Yervand was extremely rude and impolitely had a response to every reason I was giving regarding the cancellation of my wedding, from me getting laid off from my job to a family member passing, he showed no empathy, instead was being witty and rude. I never leave negative reviews but I feel such an intense level of disrespect from this company and a lack of professionalism from their team. My husband and I have been trying to get a hold of some sort of authority for a straight answer, because we have been getting the “runaround” regarding our deposit every time, mostly from a lady named Michelle. We have also been promised that the CEO will be contacting us since September and still no response. I would expect much more professionalism from such a reputable company, pandemic or not-such unprofessional service from a company this big is unheard of. I will never reconsider any sort of service from LA Banquets and make sure to spread the word.

Due to COVID-19 and statewide closures, we were not able to have our wedding in August. Los Angeles was completely closed down, and still is. Due to this being an indoor venue, there is no possibility of having a wedding there within the next few months. I have emailed and called several times, including contacting their management and have been ignored, despite having paid a significant sum for my deposit. I received one response THREE weeks after my two emails following up on my concerns. They are still holding my 5 figure deposit!

First of all, this venue is absolutely gorgeous. With the price you pay you get access to the patio, cocktail lounge and the ballroom which is unlike any other venues that I have seen. We were also given the Bridal Suite and it was just perfect for our bridal party.
Brandview Ballroom is located right across from the Americana which definitely wows guests.
On the day of our wedding our Day-Of Site Manager was Greg. He was spectacular. I didn't have to ask twice for anything. If I had any questions Greg was always one step ahead. The lead server, I wish I knew his name, was the absolute best. He kept food and water coming to our sweetheart table. I could tell that he genuinely cared about my comfort on the big day which made me feel at ease.
I could go on and on. I am so happy that I found Brandview Ballroom and that the entire team worked together to make our reception a night my guests will never forget. Thank you Brandview team!

We had to park across the street at a self-park garage & we've never had to pay for it. (First 90 minutes are free). The place has SO MUCH to offer to make your wedding perfect! From decor, to floor plans, to what to offer your guests, etc. You guys should really check it out & take a tour. It is such a beautiful venue & Sarine is on top of it with scheduling your food tasting, final details, when each payment is due, etc. You won't regret it :) Reach out if you have any questions. nd it all. She was so fast to respond to any questions or requests that we had. She made everything so easy to deal with. Wedding planning is so overwhelming but I can say that was a little easier time with her help.
The rest of the staff are very nice as well but I highly highly recommend Sarine.
The venue was beautiful as well, the staff on the wedding day were great and respectful.
Another thing is that this venue looks amazing. You can do both ceremony and reception on site so your guests wont have to leave. AND did I mention that your event could end at 2am?! Crazy! We got a lot of compliments from our families about the venue and how beautiful everything was.

nding out the answers. The food provided was excellent, that all the guests to this day still talk about. The layout that we choose worked out beautifully for our wedding. We had a large wedding, over 400 people, and there was space for everyone. We had the patio outside for our ceremony, and the reception inside. We had a cash bar as well. Half of guests did not drink, while the other half enjoy the bar all night.

Even though they didn’t have to, they accommodated a vendor of mine who was confused about delivery time on the day of the wedding. I loved that I could pick the layout and especially that we didn’t have to worry about buying alcohol for the reception since we selected the open bar option for our thirsty guests. You definitely get bang for your buck here-we visited a number of other venues and no other place compared in price, food or alcohol.

ittle over 100 people and would like more information about the venue. The response took a couple days so I ended up calling and setting up a tour. The day before, someone in Sarines office calls me to confirm and also asks what date I was interested in getting married. I said 2020, a Saturday. She confirmed appointment and hung up. So I drive 35 miles to Brandview, wait 20 minutes to be seen and come to find out from Sarine that the minimum guest count for a Saturday in 200+ people or a $25,000 food and drink minimum!! I said, wow, how come that wasn’t told to me over the phone? She says “Well, we never want to turn anyone away” So you keep that ‘little’ piece of information out? Then she says, ‘Well, we have 2 other locations that may fit your guest count’ she called each place twice and they didn’t answer. So she proceeds to tell us, ‘you can stop at one really quick and see if they are there and if not, just go ahead and go to the other one’ I was shocked by all of this! Bottom line, when Sarines little assistant (the one that was chuckling about all of this at her desk) called me and found out it was on a Saturday she should have said it right then and there! Example: just fy, we have a guest minimum or minimum food and drink! How sad that these people are ok with doing that to a future bride with a small guest count! I really hope this review helps another Bride! If you are ok with spending $30,000 for reception only and having your guest fight for parking outside, then maybe this place is perfect for you.

Sarine was amazing! I could write a book on her qualities of patience and real concern and care. While most vendors see dollar signs, she saw my vision which was priceless. I could go on and on. Hovik, Sevada, Nareh and Greg were key parts of this whole thing kickin off. I would recommend them to any bride who wants a fancy party for her wedding. The food was.....well my guest are still raving about it as am I. The bar had their own little party with the bartenders and my guest. The drinks were stiff and delicious! The violinist was incredible and every thing was timely. The chef came out and introduced himself and asked if I was hungry or needed anything and this is while we were setting up! I was more than impressed!! My husband and I felt like royalty. Brandview was our first stop in visiting potential venues and that day we put a deposit and never looked back. The staff provided exceptional service; the family service dinner option and open bar service satiated all of our guests' appetites and thirst! We were thrilled with choosing the Brandview ballroom for our celebration! To this day, guests tell us of how much they enjoyed their experience at the Brandview. Brian and I were thrilled with our choice of reception venue!
So I come back from my honeymoon and people start telling me the seafood buffet I had paid for was the only appetizer served (there should have been several that were NOT even serv...
ed!) and they quickly started taking the seafood back as people were sitting for the reception! So everyone was hungry. Not to mention that I had paid cash last minute for 2 extra people to Christian Franco and no doubt he pocketed this money because those chairs/plates were not accounted for and the paperwork showed I had not paid for the +2. There are many promises Christian made and details that were discussed which were missed because he didnt relay the information and Also did not let me know, so several things were not done. The back of the chupa (their storage shed)was supposed to be draped off, according to Mr. Franco, but it wasnt!Their outside water fountains were not turned on as they were supposed to be...the runner was supposed to be rolled out after people were seated but it was already placed. The food that did show up was great, the floor manager present without knowing these details did a decent job, and they had a Charlie Chaplin guy show up because maybe they realized some things were not executed as they should have been - which was nice of them.

The staff is great and came together working hard to make our day better than we even thought it could be.
