I had the absolute best experience with this bridal shop!! It was referred to me by one of my close friends who got married 2 years ago and I adored her wedding gown. Even though it was a little bit of a drive for me it was well worth it! They were so easy to work with in the process of picking everything out. Stacy was so lovely to work with along the way, as well as all of the other ladies there. It is obvious that they truly love what they do and are so experienced. They did such an amazing job on the alterations for my gown and taking everything into consideration while doing it. They were a huge part of our wedding day and I can't thank them enough for all that they did!!
La Belle Elaine's sold me a size 14 dress off the rack that was stained. They told me (1) a size 14 could be tailored to my size 10; (2) the stains could be easily removed; (3) the style was new. Their process did not remove the stains, and their tailor could not get the dress to look presentable on me. I had to obtain a different dress on short notice which was not the type of look I had wanted for my wedding. Then, when I tried to sell the dress on the second hand market, I was told the style was several years old and unsellable. I would not recommend this shop at all.
I had a great experience buying my dress from here! The staff was super kind and helpful. The woman who did the alterations was super helpful when showing my bridesmaid how to bustle the dress. The store itself is beautiful I loved walking down the runway in the dress.
Any questions?
La Belle Elaine’s Bridal is an amazing bridal store. Great selection of dresses. My consultant Justys was amazing and so friendly during my appointment. Even though I didn’t get my dress there I still think it is a great place for your wedding dress journey.
So many amazing options here! While I didn't end up getting my dress from La Belle Elaine's, my appointment experience was perfect. I believe my stylist/consultant's name was Geneva, and you could tell she was a true pro! Probably the best "dress clipper" of my whole dress shopping journey, hahah. She was able to listen to my rookie attempts to describe styles and fits that I feel good in, and quickly pull a ton of great options, all of which had something fun and unique about them. They have so many cool styles here, and I definitely recommend visiting if you want to find something different that's perfectly "you"!
You MUST book a try on at this boutique! Stacy and Lisa (the owner) made me feel like the most beautiful bride and catered to my needs throughout the entire process. Their boutique has the most gorgeous dresses! The seamstress is such a kind hearted woman who puts her heart into her work and makes sure you are pleased with the end result. I could go on about how wonderful this boutique is! Oh AND they have a runway to walk down when trying on dresses. So so grateful for such a wonderful experience.
I had the best experience at La Belle Elaine's. I looked forward to finding my wedding dress since I was a little girl, and it did not disappoint. Clare was a wonderful consultant. She seems like she truly loves her job and I felt like she was excited for me as a bride. After I found my dream dress, she let me come back for an appointment with all my friends and family for the dress reveal. It was all my "Say Yes to the Dress" dreams come true! My dress was perfect, the alterations turned out flawless. Thank you La Belle Elaine! I could not have asked for a better experience.
I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in and loved that they give you one on one attention. They genuinely listened to what I wanted and helped me choose a dress based on style, what was comfortable for my body, venue, weather/season and your personality. Out of all the Bridal salons between Puyallup and Seattle, the customer service and dress selection was outstanding. Thank you for helping me say yes to the dress today!
Stacey went above and beyond! She listened to what I thought I wanted but understood that this was my first time shopping for a dress, so I might be surprised by some other designs and styles. She was so kind and considerate and helped me get a better understanding for what I wanted in a dress. I really appreciate that La Belle Elaine's didn't charge me for the privilege of trying on their dresses. That made me feel much more comfortable being in the shop.
I went into my appointment after researching the dress I wanted online and discovered they carried it in their store. I ordered the Pronovias gown in March 2021, and it arrived in August in time for my September 2021 wedding. I also opted for the cleaning and preserving services they suggested after the wedding. Everything from the customer service, timing, alterations, and little details such as having my veil ready for my first alterations appointment was fantastic.
I didn’t end up finding my dress at La Belle Elaine, but wanted to give them kudos for their great customer service and very fun experience trying on dresses. Stylist Claire was very thoughtful in her suggestions, including potential alterations or combining pieces from the same designer.
I went to La Belle Elaine for my second dress appointment after having a terrible experience at the first shop I went to - I was overwhelmed, anxious, and skeptical I would find something that I could walk away with.
Stacey was an absolute dream to work with, she helped me find my center and make sure I was comfortable with what I was trying on. I have never felt more beautiful than I did trying on dresses in that shop, she helped me find the couple I had my eye on online and even more that I would not have picked for myself. My guests I had with me (comprised of friends, sisters, and my mother) all felt taken care of and heard as well, Stacey ensured their dress pics were represented in those I tried on.
If you are looking for your dream dress make your appointment here! Though I ended up purchasing a dress elsewhere, I don't think I would've had the confidence to make a final decision if not for the experience I had with Stacey. Even when I called to let her know that I had purchased a dress elsewhere, she was so excited for me. I'm hoping I'll be able to find the veil I have in my mind with her help!!
They do have very beautiful dresses and a very beautiful store but I agree with most of the responses below. The service wasn't the warmest. They did have the dress that I wanted to purchase however I had a question about the price that the associate was going to let me know. Didn't take any of my contact info or let me know when she would reach out. Long story short, still haven't heard from them and ended up buying a dress elsewhere.
I felt important from the moment I walked in the door. LaBelle gave many selections and listened to my needs. We ultimately found my perfect dress and alterations friend made it perfect. I would recommend 100 times over!
UPDATE: The pricing below was mistakingly misrepresented to me. Staci, the manager after a few conversations, including when she was on vacation made sure my dress came in early and was there when I picked up the dress and helped me try it on and also broke down the pricing with me. I only paid a little under $200 with the discount already added from the trunk show that was provided to all customers. The mistake was before discount and with taxes total extra on top of dress was roughly $600 but that is not the extra I paid in the end. Staci apologizes for any miscommunication and made sure she was the one to help me when picking my dress up. I WOULD recommend this salon with the hopes that they truly consider the few tips I gave them on interacting with customers from a business person to another.
The lady I worked with was very sweet and made me comfortable however they were doing a trunk show and had absolutely no knowledge of pricing and disregarded my budget. I was put into a dress that was already out of my budget without even being warned and then had to to pay even more in fees. When I had called to schedule the appointment I was told I had plenty of time to order a dress even if for the trunk show but when I got there I had to pay $600+ in fees to get it here on time which was not mentioned at all as a possibility. They have you fill out paperwork for details for you appt and I told them when my wedding date was and all of the good details and I had called to check on the status of my dress and was informed that the date my dress was coming in was after the date I was assured it would be there putting it not even 30 business days away from my wedding date and it still had to get altered. I was offered no discount for the hassle or for them disregarding my requests and the fact the the designer had a rep there and she also assured me of the day my dress would come in and they put the wrong date on all the paperwork is upsetting. I called and spoke to the manager Staci and she did not seem to care except say "I apologize that was your experience" I paid over $600 for rush order and overnight expedited shipping and the shipping was $150 and they couldn't even offer to cover that after all of this. I am highly disappointed and will not recommend this salon because they seem to care more about the money instead of making things right and keeping their word along with providing a stress free time with such an important item.
The staff were very helpful and flexible the one time I was late for an alterations appointment. They had a great selection and good price range. Definitely recommend adding them to your salon list.
I had a wonderful experience at La Belle Elaine's. It was the first salon in the Seattle area that I visited, and I could have just stopped after that first trip! The salon is clean and spacious, with great lighting. The variety of dresses/inventory that they had in the salon was excellent - I really felt I was able to try on several in the many silhouettes and styles I was considering. The stylist I worked with, Geneva, was fantastic. She was helpful and listened to my likes and dislikes (and, most importantly, my budget!), and I never felt that she was pushing a sale on me. I came back and tried on my dress a few times before I committed, and Geneva was great about accommodating my work schedule and giving me flexibility with appointments. I was able to get my dress altered in house when it came in, which was both a convenient and positive process. Finally, I was flying across the country with my dress for the wedding itself, and the staff at the salon had great tips for travel and caring for the dress upon arrival.
An amazing bridal shop. Easy to book an appointment, friendly staff that never pressures you to buy and works with you to find the exact dress you're looking for. Very in tune with the customer, won't provide more guidance/opinions than you want them to, but the guidance they do have is spot on. Large dress collection to choose from. Range of prices.
Suggest anyone looking for a wedding dress at least check them out.
La Belle Elaine was the first and only place I tried on wedding dresses. I came first with one of my bridesmaids and tried on about 10 or so dresses. I then made an appt to come back 2 weeks later with my parents and I tried on my top 2 favorites, plus I let me mom pick out a couple for me to try on. The dress I kept thinking about ending up being the one! Stacy was such a pleasure to work with and the woman who worked onto the alterations is so experienced and knowledgeable. Great dress selection! all variety of styles.
After going to multiple bridal stores and trying on a ton of dresses, La Belle Elaine really made me feel special! They listened to what I wanted, and made suggestions about what else I might like. When my dress arrived, I tried it on and realized it didn’t come with buttons like the sample. La Belle Elaine quickly fixed the problem and got buttons added to the dress with no extra expense. I would highly recommend La Belle Elaine!
La Belle Elaine’s is an absolute must for wedding dresses! Everyone in the store is incredibly helpful and kind! (A special shout out to Claire who stayed late on her Memorial Day to help me out!) Speaking of the store, the layout is amazing! It’s very open, light, and the runway is so much fun. Their selection of dresses is phenomenal, and the way they are all organized makes the experience so much more enjoyable. Not only did I say yes to my dress here, but I also got my veil and headpiece here.
I would highly recommend La Belle Elaine’s!!
Loved loved loved my experience here!! Stacey knew so much! You could tell she had top notch insight in this area, which helps when you’re making such a huge decision! She worked her ass off and even corresponded through email as I was making my final decision. I highly recommend this boutique! Ask for STACEY!!!
La Belle Elaine's Bridal was absolutely amazing to work with! From the first time I went in with my mom and sister to find my dream dress, to my very last fitting, all of the staff made me feel welcome and were very accommodating! I originally worked with Kayla and was upfront and honest about my budget and she stuck with it. When it came to dress fittings, the staff were extremely flexible, as typically they don't have many people attend them, but my family visited for my first one and so they packed all of them into the fitting room with no hesitation at all and my second one, their seamstress helped me FaceTime my sister so she could see the final results! I could go on and on about how great of service I received and I felt like a princess in my dress on my wedding day. I highly recommend them! Thank you La Belle Elaine!
I truly wish I had a better experience here. Maybe it was an off day at the store but our consultant did not offer much advice, didn't pick out dresses she thought I should try and didn't have my try on all the ones I picked. Perhaps the most disappointing part was that when I was standing in a dress the consultant didn't help me with walking in it, or pulling it back to get a better vision of what it would look like, or offer much advice. My bridesmaids had to help me keep the dress pulled up and the skirt laying right because my consultant wasn't always around and wasn't offering much help. I would go elsewhere for your wedding dress.
I had a great experience with La Belle Elaine's, working with Geneva and Shaun for alterations. When I was dress shopping it was becoming a blur of white dresses, but Geneva was super chill and helpful in looking at different styles. I didn't feel pressured to go with the most expensive dress, and she was helpful in comparing different styles and very knowledgable about the dresses. The process was smooth after I bought the dress, with both she and Shaun making sure that I would really love how it looked and fit, even as I deliberated on some changes to the dress... they were really patient and helpful! The dress fit great and all of my guests loved it on me! It was such a great experience with them and a relief to have it all go so smoothly.
My only complaint about this shop was that the sales lady helping me the day I first tried on my dress was not very warm and enthusiastic. I had just come from another store where the sales lady made me feel beautiful in every dress. And here when I found my dress there wasn't much excitement expressed. Maybe its just because it was the end of the day. However the rest of the time I spent at this store for my alterations was wonderful. The seamstress/tailor was amazing and so fun to work with. She helped me figure out the ideal place and way to have a blue heart from fabric from my dad's shirt sewn into the dress. Meant a lot to me. And the sales ladies on those days showed a lot of interest.
La Belle Elaine is absolutely amazing! They helped me find my dream wedding dress. I had gone to other bridal salons, but La Belle Elaine was the only salon that made me feel like the most important bride. They have a lot of dresses to try on, and all are gorgeous. Everyone who I talked to from the salon was great.
I had my first appointment with Francesca. She pulled a lot of dresses in the style I thought I wanted, but also pulled a couple others when I asked her for her recommendation. I am so glad I did because the dress I ended up buying was one she recommended for me. Throughout the appointment she made me feel so comfortable - as if she was a friend I've known all my life!
When I went in for alterations, Shawn was wonderful! She made it fit like a glove - it was absolutely perfect.
If you're looking for a wedding dress, La Belle Elaine is the place to go! I can't say enough about them!
The staff at LaBelle Elaine's was great, and I loved the dress I found at their Bridal boutique; but I made a HUGE mistake in using their seamstress for the alterations. Because my wedding was happening within 6 months of trying on dresses they recommended I purchase 'off the rack' which meant the dress needed to be altered from a size 10 to a size 0.. in the near to last fitting the seamstress recommended that she take out the bust area "slightly" -- she ended up taking so much out that I was having to lift my dress up while walking down the aisle so no one would get a glimpse of my chest. Needless to say I was VERY uncomfortable. Thankfully A Platinum Event was able to sew me back into my dress before hitting the dance floor.
I added sleeves to a very elaborate and ornate trumpet dress, and the seamstress Shaun did everything she could to find cost-cutting alternatives when we ran out of time in our short window to order material. She fitted my dress perfectly and really helped make my vision come alive :)
This dress boutique provided perfect care, beauty and refinement. I loved the ladies I worked with from Day 1 trying on dresses, of all styles in a beautiful stage setting, to returning for dress selection. I ended up with a beautiful Rosa Clara dress, which they tailored perfectly and with attentive timing and turnaround.
Seemless and easy!
My dress was amazing and perfect thanks to Labelle Elaine
La Belle Elaine's Bridal was my last wedding dress shopping appointment & after a busy week of visiting a handful of other stores I still wasn't sure I would find the perfect dress. Diane was a wonderful help and did a great job walking the store with me pulling numerous dresses for me to try on. They had a wide range of dress types but also designers. I came in with a list of some designers and was so excited to try on more that had similar styles. I ended up saying yes to the dress here and could not be happier! I was able to wear "the" dress with the most perfect veil and walk up down the run way looking at the complete look from all the angled mirrors. I felt beautiful and knew this was the dress! I came in about a week later to purchase it and was so happy to see Diane there. She had the dress and the veil I selected already pulled so we could start my measurements! I can't wait for my dress to arrive and am excited to get the alterations done here as well.
Loved my wedding dress and was so thankful to the staff for getting everything done including a custom belt design.
I found my dream dress at La Belle Elaine's! I'm obsessed with my gown and people can't stop talking about it! Everyone there is so sweet and friendly. I would recommend this to all my female family and friends for sure! The last thing brides need to worry about is there dress, and with them, you won't have to!
I was referred to La Belle Elaine's Bridal by a co-worker. This is a classy and professional salon. I love how modern the store is. Their gowns selection are great. I am a size 16 and I love the fact that there are plenty of gowns for me to try on. After about an hour into the appointment I found my perfect gown there. I highly recommend this store.
These ladies know what they are doing! Sally the owner makes a majority of the jewelry there which is absolutely beautiful! they have an amazing selection of dresses, but it isn't just that! They truly want you to feel like a princess on your wedding day and won't push you into anything you don't want but give such insightful advice and tips! I felt very comfortable there the entire time. I love la belle Elaine!

Thank you for your compliment!
I had an appointment and when I got there, they weren't ready. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited patiently. When they finally got to assist me, the lady was really nice and were asking your typical questions like "When is the wedding?", "How did you two meet?", and more. She was really nice. By the time I tried on the last dress, she gave me her card and told me to call her if I decide to come back and she dismissed me. I felt very rushed! I would've bought the dress but the service was horrible!

Hello,
La Belle Elaine's would like to apologize for you felt "rushed". This is not how we like our brides to feel and experience. Could you please let us know who your consultant was? We would love that you give La Belle Elaine's another chanc...
e with another consultant to make it right for you.
Sincerely,
Anita

I went to 5 other shops before trying La Belle Elaines. My consultant, Anna, was amazing.
She figured out what I was unhappy about with the other dresses and pulled one that I would never have picked out.
I was stunning on my wedding day.
I also used them for alterations. My dress had to be shorted 4 inches and no one was the wiser. My bustle also survived being stepped on multiple times.
That's right, they have a runway. A lit-up runway, no less!
I was pretty set on my dress by the time I got to La Belle Elaine's, and none of the dresses there changed my mind, but man was it fun! They have some beautiful accessories in the foyer, and then they lead you back into the bridal salon itself. There are hundreds of dresses at all price-points (we saw a few under $800, most around $1500), huge dressing rooms and very helpful and personal attendants (as in, they come into the room with you to help you in and out of every dress). Your attending friends/family wait around the runway, which is surrounded by mirrors. Luckily, they also allow photography.
Our attendant was very nice and not at all pushy, and took more than 2 hours with us. She also made really good suggestions about what type of dress would be best for my hair and skin color, and let me take as much time as I wanted in each dress, rather than trying to get me into and out of as many dresses as possible. A very fun experience!
I loved my experience at La Belles! Plus, what average, non-model woman doesn't want to walk a catwalk in beautiful gowns?
The trying on is made fun at la belles when you strut a catwalk surrounded by mirrors - you'll see what the groom will see and what your guests will see as you walk down the aisle. It was so fun!
There's also dresses to fit anyone's budget. I tried on a $10,000 dress, and also some under $500. I ended up getting a killer deal on a one-of-a-kind off-the-rack dress that fit perfect! My assistant through the process was very complimentary and made me feel beautiful! She even cried when she saw me in my dress!
I highly recommend visiting - it's worth your time!!
The initial appointment seemed rushed, but all of the subsequent appointments were excellent! The lady who works on accessories (Sally) and the lady who does alterations did a pretty great job. They even helped me accessorize my second dress (reception dress) although I hadn't bought it at their store.
They ordered my Pronovias wedding dress, procured it significantly cheaper than another authorized distributor in town (shop the prices for your gown) . Follow up service, was excellent, timely. The alterations (all I needed wS bustle and hem) were reasonably priced (within my expectations)).
Overall a great experience.
Not even getting into the fabulous selection of gowns that La Belle Elaine's has or its lit runway surrounded by mirrors so you can watch yourself strutting your stuff in your dream wedding dress, I had a wonderful experience shopping for my gown here. I had originally shied away because it looked intimidating and maybe pretentious from the outside, but after visiting five other boutiques and not having found The One, I gave it a shot to my extreme satisfaction. The associate Sam was sweet and deftly pulled gowns to try according to my ideas and gave honest feedback. When you're standing on the runway, Sam hands you a silk bouquet and you start crying, you know you've found The One. I couldn't believe it; I feel I sacrificed nothing in the way of beauty or quality to purchase my gown, and my fiancé was proud that the price tag was very reasonable. On top of all of that La Belle Elaine's worked with my less-than-9-week time crunch to get my dress ordered, cut & sewn by Pronovias, and altered to my height in plenty of time for dum dum dee dum. Couldn't recommend this boutique more.
First off, the experience at La Belle Elaine's is better than any of any of the other dress shops I went to. Their runway is FABULOUS - and it makes you have fun and love trying on dresses (which can be stressful!)
I left with a beautiful dress, in my budget, and a great experience. The alteration process was easy, quick and helpful. I highly recommend La Belle Elaine's to anyone dress shopping.
Pick out a ton of dresses to try on and then strut your stuff down their lit runway? Yes, Please! I had so much fun shopping here with a friend that I knew I had to come back when it was my turn.
The consultant was very friendly and helped me narrow down my favorites as I went tried on a ton of dresses.
It was so fun to walk the lit runway and have my mom take pictures of every dress I liked. Then once I had picked out my top three we went into the natural lighting room and Dress#2 was the winner and because they allow cameras my mom was able to capture the moment. We popped the champagne and hung out a bit while I soaked it in. It was the best shopping experience hands down and it wasn't the first bridal boutique I had been in.
I was lucky enough to win my wedding dress! I won any Allure Bridal gown of my choice up to $3000! I tried on a few dresses and finally decided on a dress that they took off the display in the front. It was perfect! They were very helpful and their shop is amazing. It's so beautiful and unique. I would recommend this shop for any girl.
this place is everything you want in a bridal salon and more. they have an amazing runway lined with mirrors where you can walk & see the dress and how it moves. it makes the experience so much fun. all the dresses are much higher quality than a lot of salons i went to and all of the dresses were very reasonably priced.
the best part of the whole experience was shopping and purchasing my dress from stacey. she was so patient and nice and never pressured me to buy or make a decision. i can not say enough great things about her. she really made the whole process so easy and i felt confident in every step of the process because of her.
La Belle Elaine's was my third stop when shopping for dresses, and I started out a bit concerned. At the other shop, I had pulled at least a dozen dresses to try on, but found only three at La Belle Elaine that matched my aesthetic and budget. Fortunately, one of them turned out to be better than I ever could have imagined, so I ended up purchasing my dress here.
Everyone was very helpful and accommodating, and it was really great to have alteration and steaming services in-house. We also ended up ordering bridesmaid dresses from La Belle Elaine's because the selection was good and they offered a discount since I purchased my gown there. Overall, a nice salon with friendly/helpful associates and a good variety of styles and prices.
The ladies at La Belle Elaine's Bridal were lovely - helpful and accommodating, suggestive but not overwhelming. Respectful of price points and goals and will get you the best look for your comfortable money. Love the runway to get a real feel for your dress!
I found my gown at La Belle Elaine's Bridal after going to a few other places in Seattle. The staff was welcoming and friendly and most importantly, they were respectful of the budget I had given them - UNLIKE other locations in Seattle. The alterations process was pretty simple for me as I didn't have any but the bustle. One thing that I didn't care for was that the lighting in the store is very dim - the only real lighting is in one small section by the window.
I purchased my dress from La Belle Elaine's after my best friend found her dress here the year earlier. I thought the selection was outstanding. I was able to try on many dresses and did not feel pressured. They really worked with my budget as well. I wound up finding a dress that fit my taste and budget perfectly and needed very few alterations. The only knock on this place was in the alteration process. While the seamstress I worked with was very professional and did a great job, I thought the service could have been better in setting up the appointments, given the overall service level that I got in purchasing the dress initially. I got frustrated trying to book appointments, it seemed like they were less motivated to help me once my dress was purchased. At the end of the day, a little bridezilla unfortunately goes a long way here (even though that's not how I'd prefer to get things done).
I absolutely love my wedding dress, I had favorites at other bridal stores but the dress at La belle elains was the only dress that I literally had dreams about. So I knew it was the perfect dress for me if I could only think about that one dress. Threw out the process of picking my dress out and stopping by for try on's it was average customer service. Depending on who you get, some consultants were nice and sweet while others were just mediocre. What I did not like about La belle elains was the crazy amount they charge for alterations. I already knew alterations are typically more expensive to get done at the shop but since I did not want to wast time in finding a great alterations lady I decided to go with the wedding shop. All they did for me was add cups, and shortened the length of my dress and the total alterations cost me over $800!! and then steaming it was also another $200! Another thing that potentially could have ruined my experience with them was the very rude consultant I had on the day I went to pick up my wedding dress 2 days before the big day. I went in to get my dress and the lady brought it out for me in this huge pink garbage type bag. She gave me a thicker white garment bag and told me that one is for the day after the wedding to store your dress in. I asked her could I double bag my dress because it was just one little thin garbage type bag. She said no and they have been doing it for years like so. Then she tried to push me out of the store with out even showing me my dress! I told her to stop and show me the dress and my veil, so she said oh yea... she got in a a little huff because apparently who ever put my dress and veil in the bag did not do it properly to her standards.... so she left me standing in the hallway to reorganize the dress and veil on the hanger. After she came back I asked one more time if she could just double bag the dress for me, after rolling her eyes and finally saying yes she did it. I Loved Loved my dress, but having just that one small moment at the end almost ruined everything for me. So La belle elains has beautiful dresses but beware their customer service can be unruly!
My experience at La Belle Elaine's was great. My consultant was so helpful and honest. Best of all she reminded me that choosing a dress is my choice and helped me not get caught up in my party's opinions.
They are a little pricy, but were always respectful of my budget. I never felt pressured to buy anything.
The only dress shop that had what I wanted - nothing too poofy or "bridey" or princessy. My dress was from a local Seattle designer - very soft yet sleek, with subtle lace, very light crystal beading, and a very small train. The shop was easy to work with - alterations are done right in store. As mentioned in the review title, they have a fantastic elevated catwalk/runway you can show off your dress on!
I LOVED La Belle Elaine's! They were the first wedding dress shop I went to, and I think i got a little spoiled. I was brought to a private room where one of the ladies helped me try on as many dresses as I wanted to and was so attentive without being pushy (especially since I wasn't ready to buy at the time). I went other places after and did NOT have the same experience (had a horrible experience at David's Bridal). I ended up going back and trying on the VERY FIRST DRESS i tried on at Belle Elaine's and it was perfect! I have had SO MANY compliments on my dress. Best part? It was only $1100. May seem steep to some, but I'm told other dresses that look similar cost almost up to $10,000!
DEFINITELY recommend La Belle Elaine's. They helped me find the perfect dress, let me come in as many times as I wanted to try it on, did great alterations, steamed my dress before the wedding, and I'll be taking my dress to them to have dry cleaned and preserved as well. The alterations, steaming, and dry cleaning are extra $ - but well worth it for a dress i am IN LOVE WITH!!! :)
I found my dream gown at the first store I went to, La Belle Elaine's. They have a great selection and knowledgeable staff. They delivered on time and did the alterations. Everything worked out perfectly.
In short, I purchased a dress for $7,000 from this shop. I live outside of the US, so after planes, trains automobiles and a friend carrying it on a flight to Hong Kong, I found that they had ordered me the wrong size.
Not only are they uninterested in helping to fix the problem, manager Stacey thought it would be nice to literally shout at me over the phone until I begged her to stop. I'm not sure how I became at fault for her mistake, but the experience has completely ruined the joy of getting the dress. Let's face it, I lost my temper at the end, but I am in awe that this is how they see fit to do business.
If you want a place to respect you and your wedding day, I highly encourage you to go anywhere else. It's not right to be treated well until you fork over an insane amount of money, then be treated like garbage by the staff.
Save yourself the dissatisfaction and go elsewhere.
Simply perfect!
Good selection, good price range, and different dresses than I've seen everywhere else. I bought my dress here and the service was excellent, and I've yet to see my dress anywhere else!
Overall, I had a great experience at La Belle Elaine's. They offered a wide variety of dresses to chose from. It was really fun to walk the runway trying on dresses. It was also a fun experience for my family and friends. My dress and accessories were perfect for me. I felt my initial consultation was the most positive experience. After that, there seemed to be a bit a confusion at the front desk with appointments and requests, but otherwise everyone was helpful and friendly.
As soon as you step into La Belle Elaine they make you feel like a bride to be! The sales ladies really listen to what you want and show you dress styles that you request both within your price range and that are great values. They have a beautiful runway where you can walk down, and if friend or loved ones cannot join you during this special experience they have a live web cam that long distance loved ones can share the experience with you from a far. Great Experience!
I bought my dress here and am in love with it. I had an issue with one of the sales reps trying to charge $80 for it to be steamed. Not only was it expensive, but the dress was supposed to be ready for pick up and it wasn't. The lady gave me a hard time about it and eventually did not charge me, but as a Bride the added stress was not worth it.
I had just moved to WA and didn't have any friends and I was just starting my gown hunt so I went there alone. The consultant was rude and made me feel like I didn't matter. I did like something over there but decided not to go back for it 'cause I didn't want to deal with them again.
I found my perfect dress here. the service was wonderful. the alterations did add up quickly though and i was disappointed when my dress ripped before my ceremony on the seam. despite this, i would still buy my dress here if i were to do it all over again as i love the service and my dress.
The moment I walke dinto La Belle Elaine I felt like a bride - everything from their attention to you to the catwalk runway just made it so special. I found my dress on the first visit and each time I went the staff were helpful, cheery, accomodating and insightful! I had total trust in them with my mther's 40yo veil and they did not disappoint!
I knew I wanted a princess ballgown and I wanted to have that great experience every bride deserves so I went to La Belle Elaine's. I went during the week in the morning which was great because only a few other customers were in there so I was able to use the runway as much as I wanted. My consultant, Chanel, was great. I gave her my budget and she stuck to it and warned us if we were looking at something above my stated budget. She was funny and helpful and seemed to enjoy our company as I explained I didn't want to have to wear Spanx on my wedding day. I ended up buying the first dress I picked out and tried on. If I could wear it every day I would. The purchase process was easy. I believe I had a great price on my dress and the truly bridal experience. Chanel didn't rush us even after we made our selection and just seemed to know that I didn't want to leave without it. She gave us really helpful information about what color to order which was right on. With the fittings only one time were they running late which was okay, the alterations lady was just fantastic and helped me truly fit into the gown to showcase my figure. There was some concern about whether the veils I ordered would be in on time, but luckily they came in two or three weeks earlier than expected which was the week before my wedding. The person who checked me out seemed to blame me that I waited so long to order them, but I didn't know when I was supposed to order them. I would have when I bought the gown but no one mentioned it. I do believe waiting until my first fitting was a great idea because I ended up going with a cathedral veil because it looked best with the gown and I probably would have only done a fingertip veil earlier. My dress looked great when I picked it up after being pressed. You do have to pay for pressing and the alterations but I expected that and it was reasonably priced in my mind. Of the people who helped me and my friends I would say they were fantastic. The front desk could use some help.
Every girl dreams about her wedding and shopping for her wedding dress, and finally my day had come! My girlfriends and I had shopped around Seattle, scouring racks for the perfect gown to no avail until our appointment at La Belle Elaines. Walking into La Belle Elaines was like taking a breath of fresh air. The lobby was clean, modern and set apart from the racks of dresses. The gowns were organized and well spaced, making it easy to find many different styles. We were taken to a large, private room to try on our finds. We sipped champagne and laughed. For a few brief moments we were just girls playing dress up until that moment I tried on my pefect gown, when a young girl turned into a princess. The staff members glowed and shreiked with excitement when I found 'The One.' I was escorted out of the room to the center of the shop where a large, well lit RUNWAY stood in the center of the room! Nervously, I walked from one edge of the runway to the other, staring at my reflections from different angles, envisioning my wedding day. On top of it, the dress was a ONE OF A KIND and on CLEARANCE! I would highly recommend any bride to La Belle Elaines.
I had a wonderful experience at La Belle Elaine's- when I tried on dresses the staff was extremely helpful, the dresses were beautiful, and the selection was vast. I had a budget that I was adamant about sticking to, and thankfully I did. But of course alterations cost extra, and after I purchased the dress I learned that there is a $100 slip that I'm supposed to wear with it...and every subsequent visit I had for fittings they were running at least a half an hour late. All in all, a very nice place to go try dresses on, but just beware that there are hidden costs and allow a lot of extra time for your appointments!
I had an amazing experience at this bridal salon! The ladies were so helpful in helping me pick out my dress and understanding what I wanted. They knew what they were talking about...which was nice :) I couldn't have imagined a better experience. They have a runway which made it even more special. I couldn't have picked a better place!
I highly recommend this store!! And Prices are reasonable and high above it (if that is what you are looking for).
My dress was beautiful and since I had to buy it before going on deployment, they were nice enough to keep it while I was away so it wouldn't get messed up.
While I loved my dress, the customer service at this boutique was terrible. I would not recommend any bride purchase their dress from this boutique.
The alterations were great and the shopping experience there is fun with the runway. For one fitting, I was asked to reschedule after I was already there. Also, my dress wasn't steamed and ready to go when I picked it up.
Though super friendly staff, I was disappointed in my alterations, as my dress didn't fit right on my wedding day and they refused to take the dress in more when there were >3wks until the wedding when I had my last alterations appointment.
I only had to go to one dress shop to find my perfect dress! La Belle Elaine's was really good at having me try on a variety of dresses to see what best fit my body shape.
La Belle Elaine's made dress shopping enjoyable and fun. Stacey truly listened to my thoughts, but more importantly took the initiative to find a dress that brought many of the elements I was looking for into one. Each bride has a private room and I never felt rushed or overwhelmed with other brides. Alterations were made on-site and there was no fuss when the dress needed to be taken in a little at the last minute. They made me feel beautiful, even when I did not have my dress on!
I was lucky when I found La Belle Elaine's. I had been perusing gowns in a magazine when I saw what had ended up becoming my dress. As it turns out, the weekend that I decided that THIS was the dress, was also the weekend that La Belle Elaine's had a trunk show for the designer...too bad I missed it. After my initial appointment and trying on dress after dress (yes they have THAT wide of a collection as well as a runway in the store so you can strut your stuff when you try on dresses) I had asked about the dress from the magazine. They had to contact the designer and flew the sample size in for me to try on! It was love! I decided then and there that, that was my dress even when the sample size was too small. Stacy (strong girl!) helped me to see what the correct size would look like on me and how it would fit. They even extended promotional discount to me because the dress I wanted was not in the store when I came in. After the dress came in, it only required one alteration and I was all set! Stacy and staff are so sweet and gracious I would recommend them over and over again and in fact already have!
Let me first explaine why I marked them down (though I still gave a high rating). In regards to "Quality of Service" and "Value for Cost" I mark down a little because of their alterations service, NOT because of the service I received with the actual La Belle Elaine's team. The alterations were expensive, which I was okay with except that the bustle didn't even last half-way through the reception. It hung a little too low and after getting stepped on just once or twice, the whole thing was just hanging funny. I tried some safety pins but ended up just having to leave it down. It's not easy to do the electric slide with a train! I thought the bustle looked high quality -- it tied together in several spots as opposed to buttons or hooks -- but it just didn't last. And in regards to "flexibility," it certainly isn't their fault they were busy in July and August! That's to be expected.
I had a wonderful experience in this bridal salon! It's beautiful and I love how none of the dresses are in plastic. You can see everything!! I had so much fun trying on and was so pleased to find that the dress or my dreams was so affordable! The ladies had fun playing dress up with me -- trying on veils and jewelry and hair clips -- and I felt like a princess but didn't feel ANY pressure to buy any of the fun accessories they were putting on me (and I didn't buy any). I purchased all of my bridesmaids dresses here and got a discount for doing so. I definitely suggest you go try on some dresses there and have some fun with the catwalk!
If I could give 6 stars I would. I had a short engagement so I didn't have a lot of time to order the dress and get all the fittings but they managed to work with the designer and make it all happen. Then after I went in for my first fitting I felt like the dress didn't looked good and they were more than happy to squeeze me in for an extra fitting which made all my worries disappear. All the ladies who work there knew who I was when I walked in and always made me feel like a beautiful bride. If my husband lets me get another wedding dress for our 5 year anniversary I am definitely getting it at LaBelle Elaine's!
I bought my Sally Crew wedding gown at La Belle Elaine's and enjoyed the entire experience. From the moment I walked in the door to the moment I walked out with my gown and veil, they were fantastic. Great customer service, a beautiful selection, and an elevated runway with custom lighting to boot! What more could a bride ask for?? My even got to meet the designer during one of my fittings. She is fabulous and so was my gown. I got SO many compliments on it, and I was so sad to have to put it away after the wedding. Shopping at La Belle Elaine's was a wonderful experience--every bride should give them a try.
