La Colonia Tacos & Catering is a wedding catering company based in Santa Rosa, CA. At La Colonia, we serve authentic and traditional Mexican cuisine using our family's homemade recipes, which have been passed down for generations. We only use clean, high-quality, non-GMO, and hormone-free ingredients. All of our dishes are made from scratch, even the homemade tortillas.
Our food offerings continue beyond Mexican dishes, though. Chef Victor has worked in a kitchen for over 20 years as the head chef at a major Sonoma County catering company. Throughout his experience, he has enhanced his multi-culinary skills in Californian, Mediterranean, French, Italian, Mexican, and Asian cuisines. He is a well-experienced chef who can make any menu idea come to life! In addition to delicious tacos, Victor and his team offer incredible mains like miso-braised short ribs, succulent seafood, and innovative vegetarian options. s. Worried about rain and last minute shifts in logistics? Victor offered to come up the day before to assess the situation and get things in ahead of time as needed. Last minute additions to the menu or late night snacks? Shoot an email to Victor, and he says "good idea - here's how I'd suggest we do it, and I can handle all of it!". On the day, Victor was a confident, smiling, reassuring presence amongst the inevitable chaos of other late-morning preparations, the food (and churros and hot chocolate!) were exceptional, and the bartenders were super friendly, going along with the many strange requests from us and our guests. Overall, an incredible team to have partnered with, and who played a HUGE role in making our wedding the dream it was. Thank you Victor, Coral, and all the team!

n. They'll work with you to create the right menu for your event and can do a wide range of dishes. Victor was also really helpful in the lead up to the event, coming to the venue with us to get a lay of the land, helping us figure out the right floor plan for the buffet to serve guests quickly, and even helping us find bartending staff as well. He can also help source tableware and flatware. We're so grateful for Victor and the entire team and we'll be returning to the taco truck in Santa Rosa for lunches and dinners in the future!
