This wedding venue has a coordination team included in the cost of booking, and it was so worth it!!! They were soooo organized, took everything off our plates, and took amazing care of us on the month leading up AND on the day of. When we needed flexibility, they worked with us and made sure nothing went wrong on the day of the wedding. They took joy in their work and every guest told us that our wedding was the best wedding they ever attended *and I'm 29* so our guests have been to a TON of weddings in the last 2 years. A TON.

The Lake at Apple Hill is truly incredible, and so magical. I cannot get over how beautiful this venue is! I fell in love with this venue as soon as I set foot on this property. As soon as we put down our deposit and secured our date, everything started falling into place. The team that works for this venue are like no other I have ever communicated with. They brought my vision to life, and our day was truly unforgettable as a result. If you are looking for a stress-free planning process at a gorgeous venue, look no further!!!

Perfect is the only word that comes to mind. The natural beauty of the venue meant that we could ease up on added decor and the team at the Lake was extremely helpful and ensured that on the day of our wedding, all we had to do was just enjoy our day and each other. We cannot thank them enough.

I can't say enough good things about The Lake at Apple Hill. Planning a wedding these days is so overwhelming and once we found this venue, everything fell into place. This place is a hidden gem. Between the value, the open vendor policy, the included coordination team (which let me tell you is priceless), and the overall look and vibe of the property, look no further than this venue. Everyone at our wedding could not stop talking about how incredible the views were and how on top of everything our team was. Our wedding day did not go according to plan, between it raining and being an hour behind schedule our day could have easily been defined by these hiccups, but the rain only made the venue more magical, and our coordination team rallied to pivot on timeline and to work around the rain. They were constantly shifting decorations to make the most out of every detail we picked out, and I could not have been more grateful. Our wedding was magical because of the Lake at Apple Hill and our Courtney Lawhon Events coordinators, full stop. Do yourself a favor and see this property and book them for your wedding. The drive to the location and getting ready off site is worth it.

The Lake at Apple hill is a gorgeous venue with a backdrop to die for. We knew it was where we wanted to get married right away. It was woodsy and magical. The weeks leading up to our wedding the weather was beautiful. But low and behold, the week of was a completely different story. I can't tell you the number of times we were told that rain on your wedding was good luck. It sure didn't feel that way with an completely outdoor wedding, but all week we were in contact with our coordinator from Courtney Lawhon Events to come up with contingencies and when the day finally came I'm so glad we were proactive with planning since during our reception the rain started coming down and didn't stop until the party was over. Through it all our team made sure that everything ran smoothly and any last minute changes that needed to be made due to the weather happened seamlessly. The rain definitely didn't stop the party and the vibes were still immaculate. Our friends and family will definitely be talking about our wedding for a long long time.

Omg!!!! Best venue ever!!!! We had the most beautiful wedding at The Lake at Apple Hill!! We had got so many compliments on the venue from our guest! I highly recommend using this venue! We love that we got a month of coordination included! CLE coordination team helped make our day extra special! The venue will give you a list of vendors they recommend and we mostly used vendors off that list! It was so helpful! We also were allowed to use the venue for our engagement pictures which was amazing and special! If you are looking for a beautiful venue in the mountains with water near by, then The Lake at Apple Hill is the perfect venue for you! Your wedding pictures will have the best background! It’s it so amazing!!!! We will forever be so grateful we found this venue and for the team for helping us have a fairytale wedding!

This is the perfect spot if you are looking for a beautiful outdoors, woodsy venue! We wanted to have our wedding in a place with truly natural beauty, that wouldn't take copious amounts of decorations or lighting to be magical. This was exactly that. The lake was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony, and our wedding pictures turned out stunning. There was plenty of space for our 100 person guest list, with unique areas for us to set up separate spaces for drinks, dinner, lawn games, and dancing. The dance floor was perfect and everyone danced the night away. We got so many compliments on our venue choice! We were worried about a massive heat wave and the Janet helped us think through all of the options, and answered all our questions throughout the process. She was helpful and patient and we couldn't be happier with our choice.

My husband and I recently had our wedding celebration at The Lake at Apple Hill. It was amazing and beautiful and everything I dreamed of!
For the venue portion of our wedding, we communicated with Janet who works at The Lake, and she was so great! She was kind and friendly, and responded to all of our emails and questions in a timely manner.
We had an accident during the set up of our wedding (really close to when guests were arriving)... the main water line was hit by a vehicle, so the water was off and bathrooms were not working. Someone from the venue (possibly the owner?) showed up IMMEDIATELY to fix and resolve the issue. By the time the ceremony was over, everything was fixed and bathrooms working which was so great for the rest of the evening.
We were very well taken care of by the venue and our vendor team. We received so many compliments from guests for how beautiful the location was, and how it was such a hidden gem.
The venue is STUNNING, peaceful and naturally beautiful. The lake, trees, fire pit areas, the market lighting, landscaping... all the little details help to make this location magical. The team at The Lake do such a great job at keeping the space clean, are continuing to add and improve the venue which is so great for future couples.
We could not have found a more perfect location for our special day!!

The venue was absolutely beautiful. We originally toured it in the snow so we had to imagine everything. They did renovations to the venue a couple months before our wedding date and everything that they added was gorgeous. The weather was amazing on our wedding day and the scenery really helped to create the ambiance we wanted. All of the vendors we worked with really made the venue special.
It is an amazing and beautiful space. If you’re considering an outdoor venue and love the outdoors/camping vibe of tall trees, lakes etc, highly recommend checking it out!

The lake at Apple Hill is an absolute dream. The owners & their partnership with CLE is a match made in heaven. My husband and I are so thankful for the accommodations this team made to allow us to first visit the venue at last minute, to send us various details throughout the planning process, and support us while planning a destination wedding. The lake at Apple hill gives you all the romantic, pine tree, notebook vibes all in one. We got to dance under the trees and stars, enjoy privacy with our guests due to the secrecy and exclusivity of the venue. The lake at Apple hill is such a great value & allows the couple to bring their vision to life. The lake allows you to utilize vendors that meet their criteria while also meet your individual and personal needs for your special day.
This venue also has such beautiful sites & opportunities to further celebrate with your guests throughout your wedding weekend. Including downtown Placerville, apple hill, several breweries or wineries, Tahoe just an hour away & then bigger department stores just 30 min to an hour away for all your last minute needs!
If you and your fiancé are wanting an intimate wedding, a big wedding, a covered reception, an uncovered reception, a beautiful backdrop for your ceremony & romantic shots, an absolutely dreamy first dance spot or all of the above book the lake, you won’t regret it!!!!!

The Lake was the first venue my husband and I looked at when we first got engaged. We were looking for an earthy, natural, peaceful environment surrounded by trees to have our wedding. This place was the perfect spot! The venue manager had incredible communication, quick response times, patient with our questions, and so so kind, they were genuinely excited to make our day perfect for us. Alongside the perfect scenery, they’re contracted with an incredible wedding coordinator which is included in the total price. Absolute game changer. Our day was absolutely perfect and it all started with The Lake!
