The venue is beautiful for a wedding setting with our ceremony outside by the gazebo and then moved indoors to the upstairs reception area that has floor to ceiling windows overlooking the golf course! It was nice to have the indoor ceremony option as well in case there happen to be any inclement weather. The food was good as well, which is hard when you are catering for large groups and it was nice that Patrick assisted with our other vendors onsite when they had questions. Wedding planning can be stressful, but Lake Windsor definitely made it about as smooth of an event as possible and everyone had a blast! I would definitely recommend this venue to others!

nt Coordinator nearly 2 years prior to our wedding day, she was detailed, organized, always on time and such a calming and helpful professional. She answered all of our questions in a timely manor and always allowed us to have the final say in how we wanted our day to be remembered. Our meals and drinks were fantastic and service by the wait staff and bartenders was always courteous and pleasant. On the day of our wedding Christy was available and attentive to our needs and spot on with timing during the ceremony. Her presence and professionalism can not go unnoticed, as she made our wedding planning and day of ceremony something we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

Cool as a cucumber, so ready and willing to help, BEYOND accommodating to us at every turn. Any time I felt stressed his response was "we can take care of that, no problem." The best person to have around in a stressful situation. The venue was just gorgeous. Many guests told me it was the most beautiful wedding they've been to. The large windows and all the natural light? You just can't beat it. Because we had a larger wedding, we decided to rent both the upstairs and downstairs of the venue to ensure we were the only wedding there that day and although it was more money, it was money well spent. Everyone had space to move around and the kids could go outside and play. It gave us a separate level for cocktail hour which was great. I highly recommend it if you have a large wedding and can spare the cash. The food: So delicious. Not only did my husband and I think it was amazing, but our guests LOVED the food! Some of the best food I've had at a wedding. Again, we had a BIG wedding, so a lot of people to serve and we did plated dinners and the quality didn't suffer at all! The staff served our guests quickly and were so helpful! They are a well oiled machine and there were no hiccups. The bartenders had a great energy and were really pleasant to be around. I don't throw around the word "perfect" very often, but our wedding was perfect. All the planning and the vision I had in my head came true by Patrick and this incredible staff. I would recommend Lake Windsor Country Club to ANYONE, and wish I could relive the day over and over again. They are simply the best and I have no complaints! THANK YOU!!!

The staff were fantastic! Our event coordinator got sick a few days before our wedding and Patrick, the 2nd event coordinator, took on our case. For having been thrown into our plans about 2-3 days before the big day he smashed it. He had answerers for all of our questions, made sure we were happy with how things were going, kept us on schedule and made himself available for us. Everything was perfect and couldn’t have gone any better. We can’t say enough about how spectacular Patrick and his team was. Our guests and ourselves had the time of our lives. They were super flexible with us on our wedding day- when rain tried to ruin our outdoor ceremony, Kristy seamlessly rearranged our agenda to accommodate a later ceremony time so that we could still carry out our dream outdoor wedding!! 10/10 service and the whole day was perfect!

ostpone TWICE - our original wedding date was October 2020 - and there was no problem either time; deposits transferred, we found a new date. I read about other venues on the internet and there were some horror stories -- you will not have any problems at Lake Windsor if something unfortunate comes up. As you approach the date and need to get final details coordinated, again, Kristy is absolutely on top of things and will answer all your questions, provide helpful suggestions, and just generally be great to work with. Physical space: Very nice. We had a smaller wedding than some and so could use the smaller, downstairs room. I've actually attended a wedding in the upstairs room as guest a few months ago as well. Both are very nice, but I have to say the downstairs is even nicer because you get access to the outdoor patio space for basically the entire evening. We had guests out there all evening except during dinner, it provided a great spot to chill out and have a conversation while others were tearing up the dance floor inside. There is nice landscaping right near the venue and a well-manicured golf course beyond. Some flowering trees if you're there at the right time of year will make for some great photos. Amenities: The arch that they provided for our ceremony, and all the little things like chairs, tablecloths, etc, all good. They have a handheld mic and speakers that are perfectly good to carry voices. There's a little "locker room" area off of each of the bathrooms where the bridesmaids and groomsmen can stash their stuff, but there's nothing stopping anyone from walking in there. The bathrooms themselves are clean, well-maintained, etc. Bar: The bartenders did a great job, were professional, courteous, helpful, quick. Mixed good drinks. The venue is able to stock just about anything if you give them enough notice -- we had Zombie Dust on draft. They also had a Keurig set up next to the bar so you can keep the party going. I forget what they stocked it with but it was good - I was double-fisting an iced coffee and a margarita for a while and couldn't decide which I liked more. Food: Not a standout - for what you're paying per plate, you'd get a better meal at a nice restaurant - but I am impressed at what they managed to produce at industrial scale, feeding hundreds of people all at once. It was good, good portions, and they distributed it out to tables efficiently. We didn't do a wedding cake, opting for a selection of pre-plated desserts that guests could go up and get from a dessert table, and those were all delicious. Summary: Everything was at minimum very good, with most aspects being excellent. The true standout is Kristy. Management, give her a raise, you want to retain her! Would I recommend this venue? Absolutely, particularly if you have a small enough guest list to use the downstairs space (& therefore the patio).

Our wedding was in mid December 2021, and just knew this would be the most perfect space with their holiday decorations and twinkling lights in combination with some white and gold from our florist/rental company. We had our reception in Crystal Commons space (Upper floor), and it was the perfect size for our 190 guest list. The food was fabulous, far superior than most wedding food out there, and the prices were extremely reasonable. The bartenders and wait staff the day of our celebration were AMAZING! So tentative, helpful, and pleasant. Kristy, the event coordinator, is the absolute best. She answered our endless amount of questions, and worked with all of our other vendors to make sure everything was perfect when we showed up. She was extremely accommodating, letting us set up a day early as they didn't have a Friday event, and let us pick up items the next day instead of cleaning it all up night of. I hope to attend another wedding as a guest there, just to fully take it all in again.

re filthy— it looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time and it smelled like urine when we first arrived to set up. The dressing area was hot with no apparent air conditioning. The carpet was also dirty. I had noticed the bathrooms were unclean when we initially visited Lake Windsor CC so I specifically asked to make sure the bathrooms were cleaned before the reception. I was sorely disappointed in the effort The walls and carpet In the lower dining area are dirty. Lake Windsor needs to give the place a really good cleaning to make it presentable. This would increase my rating to 4 stars. The food was very good and fairly priced for a wedding venue. The service; however, was lacking. The bartender was fantastic! The remaining staff didn’t remove dirty drink glasses that piled up on various tables in the dining room and on the patio. It was a young crew that worked the reception and they needed some adult guidance. All in all I would select Lake Windsor CC as a venue for a reception. I would definitely insist that they clean the public areas from floor to ceiling before an event. The reception just didn’t seem as special because of the shotty maintenance in the reception area.

I would highly recommend the Windsor Country Club for your big day!

The venue was beautiful and did not require much in the way of decorating, which was great! We loved that everything was included, and the food was cooked on-site; there were no surprises when it came to final prices. Our guests could not stop raving about the food. The golf course was a beautiful back drop for day and night photos. Rick who was helping at the bar that night was very attentive and took the time to call the hotels and arrange extra shuttle service after one of the shuttles broke down.

s for our wedding, and although the space isn't "cheap" for a Saturday in June, the convenience of everything being taken care of was worth it to us. Kristy, our coordinator, was amazing to work with. She was very responsive, organized, and professional. We can't thank her enough. The space itself doesn't need much decorating which also saves you money in the long run. And most places charge you to rent their gold chiavari chairs, LWCC does not which was an added benefit. The dinner portions were HUGE and we received two separate compliments that the Top Sirloin was the best wedding steak they had ever had. My husband and I were able to take two golf carts out during dinner to take sunset photos with our photographer on the golf course. Lastly, we didn't even notice their was a wedding in the room below us. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience with LWCC and would recommend to others.

that they have “off season” & “peak season” pricing which helps accommodate a wider range of budgets. They have 2 different areas or rooms to choose from, with varying prices and room capacities. We choose the larger and more expensive room, Crystal Commons. It was a beautiful space! The chandeliers definitely made our wedding feel extra classy. We received many compliments on how pretty the room was in combination with the decorations we chose. We changed coordinators a few times throughout the planning process, but thankfully it didn’t negatively impact our experience. All the coordinators are nice to work and talk with. The coordinators are very quick on responses and make sure everyone is on the same page. We were able to get in the Thursday before our wedding to start decorating, which was earlier than we were initially told which helped us not feel rushed. That was mainly because there were no other events going on the week before our wedding. Although, there were a few things we weren’t happy about…. the wedding in the downstairs room for Friday night used our room and decorations for their ceremony after we had spent a lot of time decorating and making sure everything looked perfect for our wedding on Saturday. We were told we could remove anything we didn’t want up or that could potentially get damaged before the other wedding used our room…..but we already spent soo much time making everything look perfect it wouldn’t have made sense. We made sure to come in earlier on the day of our wedding to double check everything was how we left it…..and it was not. Things were moved around causing us more time and effort when we shouldn’t of had to worry about this. When we initially booked our room we were told if it rained the downstairs room would have the ceremony in their room….. please be cautious about this when booking at Lake Windsor C.C. Another thing was the chicken entrée was not made in the same manner as how it was on the night of our tasting. On the night of our tasting the chicken was grilled, juicy, golden and flavorful –this is why we chose it for an option. On the night of our wedding it looked as if it was boiled, just a white slab of breast meat with not much flavor. But overall our wedding was phenomenal; we received many compliments and were even told by numerous people “this was the best wedding they have ever been too!”

We had our ceremony there as well as reception. Ceremony was beautiful( set up and tear down was so fast we never saw any of it). The reconstructed downstairs was perfect spot for pictures as it was down pouring sleet outside. The reception was amazing. The food was delicious and we are still hearing from people how much they liked it all( we recommend the pork). This is the place to come for your one stop wedding shop as it is truly a beautiful experience. The space is amazing but what makes it the best spot to have your wedding is how attentive, proactive, and experienced Katie and her staff are. We wouldn’t recommend anywhere else!

The venue was beautiful and spacious indoors and the outdoor grounds added to the beauty. Even though it rained and we had to change the plans from an outdoor to an indoor ceremony, the Lake Windsor staff made the transition seamless. Our guests loved the food and the portions were large... great for our hungry crowd. The dance floor was large and allowed us to fully enjoy the dancing. The bartender and waitstaff were friendly and professional and served our guests well. For the venue and the services we received we felt the cost was very reasonable for a Sunday wedding. er a doubt that things wouldn't be handled when she was involved. She went above and beyond to help us out on things that weren't necessarily her "problem". For example, the morning of our wedding our chair set up delivery was late and she called the company to make sure everything was fine. The Pinnacle room was just renovated and it looks amazing. The food, decor, lighting was fantastic! We had about 130 guests and that seemed like a good number for the room - maybe even fewer would have been ideal!

I was promised many things, including access to a bunch of great spots for photos - specifically I was told about how great their gazebo is for photos. My big day came and when we went to take photos in the gazebo and there was a wedding party using it for their rehearsal - I come to find out that the brother of one of the higher up employees was having a last minute wedding there the next day and was granted access while my wedding was happening. There was not time for us to use it. I was SO disappointed. Apparently you aren't given Lake Windsors' best if someone "more important" is around. My bridesmaids also informed me after the fact that a few employees were pretty rude to them. My final issue was I was also supposed to have private access to the locker room area (well the back room anyway) and there was AN EMPLOYEE in there getting ready when we arrived. Although she knew the rule about it - because she said 'Sorry I know this space is for you, but I have to get ready for my next job'-she continued to be in there with us as we tried to finish getting ready. Overall the unprofessional vibe all around left me not super happy with choosing this venue.
