It was clear to us that Al goes above and beyond as soon as we inquired with him! From the beginning he shares a ton of information, music planning PDF guides, attentive communication, and when the wedding week comes around he is absolutely on top of all music selections, names, order of events, etc. All music from the ceremony to cocktail hour, intros, dances, and late night energy was flawless. Al is a consummate professional and we couldn’t recommend him more!

Al was phenomenal for our August 2024 wedding! He provided music and emcee services for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and was so personable, enthusiastic and kept the party going all evening! We even had some special international song requests and they were executed flawlessly. During the planning process, he was very proactive and responsive in his communications and provides a great questionnaire that gets you thinking about all aspects of music for your wedding (things we didn’t even think about) as well as suggestions for anything you may need help with. Would absolutely recommend Al and Lakeside DJs for your wedding!

We were absolutely thrilled with Al & Lakeside DJs as our wedding DJ at the Homestead. From start to finish, he was a consummate professional who understood exactly what we wanted and delivered it with style. One of the things that impressed us most about Al was his ability to strike the perfect balance between keeping the party going and respecting our guests' desire for conversation. When people weren't on the dancefloor, he didn't try to force the issue or make anyone feel uncomfortable. Instead, he kept the good vibes going with great music that allowed everyone to enjoy themselves without feeling obligated to dance, but got the party going when they were out there. It was the perfect approach, and we appreciated his sensitivity to our guests' needs. Al was also incredibly detailed in his planning and preparation. He knew our venue inside and out, having done countless weddings at the Homestead, and this experience showed in every aspect of his work. From the ceremony to the reception, everything went off without a hitch, and we never had to worry about a thing. His relaxed demeanor put us at ease throughout the planning process, and we always felt like we were in good hands. Of course, the music itself was fantastic. Al played all the right songs at the right times and paid attention to our do's and do not's, keeping the energy up and the crowd happy. He never made the night about himself, always keeping the focus on us and our celebration. We couldn't have asked for more from our DJ, and we're so grateful to have had him as part of our team. Al is an exceptional DJ who truly understands how to create a memorable and enjoyable experience for his clients. Al was great from throughout the whole wedding planning process. He reached multiple tomes to make sure that we had everything set for our big day. He was also very professional and easy to talk to. On the wedding day, he did a great job of keeping things on schedule. He also picked music that fit our personalities and kept the wedding fun. We lucked out by having Lakeside DJs help us with our wedding day. Our DJ, Chris, made the whole process seamless from the initial meeting through the end of our wedding day. They worked with us through a personal request in the ceremony and then Chris absolutely nailed the music!! Especially in the shorter timespan we had for dancing due to noise constraints. Too many of our guest came up to us to tell us it was the most fun they have had at a wedding and a few people even asked me afterword for our DJ contact! We are so thankful for their service and we hope that you will make the same decision we did!

Hiring Al was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. He not only helped us with the timeline of the day but took our ideas and made them come to life. He dressed the part and was very accommodating. There was a slight unexpected pause in our ceremony and Al was quick to fill the silent with music. I could go on about how great he was and trusted that he would make the party fun till the last song! I would recommend Al to anyone!!

Al did a wonderful job for our wedding on 10/6/23 at The Homestead! He even came the day before to set up for the ceremony since I had young student instrumentalists performing that needed amplification. He was super easy to work with and played a great mix of songs at the reception, including many or all of our song requests. He was very professional and efficient and I would highly recommend him!

Al is fantastic! We felt that the music was very personalized to our group. The dancing was going all night, even with a small crowd. Al played a great combination of music that kept the party going. The price was very reasonable and he did a great job communication leading up to the wedding, including a conference call to go over the details the week of the wedding.

Working with Al from Lakeside DJ’s was so smooth start to finish. Al had wonderful recommendations, and was flexible with our requests and changes. Lakeside DJ's (DJ Al) was fantastic to work with! He made the planning process a breeze. He has tons of recommendations for what kind of music to play during different parts of the day. He also did the sound for our ceremony and it was easy for everyone to hear and we didn't have a microphone in our faces! We had a scheduled call with him a week before our wedding to make sure we were on the same page, and he was prepared for the call and had all of our information pulled up and reviewed. Al was able to help keep the day on schedule by transitioning the music when it was time to switch from the cocktail hour to dinner and so on. He also kept the dance floor packed the whole time and played music for the appropriate crowd at the wedding! I would recommend Lakeside DJ's (DJ Al) to any person planning a wedding!!

Al from Lakeside DJs was amazing to work with! You can tell its a great wedding when the dance floor is PACKED, we didn't want the party to end! We had some last minute changes and Al adjusted everything with ease. Music can make or break the party, so choosing a DJ is a big deal. You can't go wrong with Lakeside DJs! Highly recommend!

Al with Lakeside DJ was amazing! The entire process was seamless and great. We met with Al the week of our wedding to chat about details, must plays, do not plays, etc. and he made us feel so comfortable. Al was on his game all night when it came to announcing reminders, the bridal party and, of course, the music. Our dance floor was full the ENTIRE evening and everybody complemented how great Al did. You could tell he really customized the experience for us and our music taste. Spend the extra money on uplighting! It really added to the vibe. Couldn’t recommend Lakeside DJ enough!!

Chris did a wonderful job keeping people on the dance floor. However, i give 4 stars because he did not deliver on a few aspects. He didn’t announce the cake cutting which might have just been a miscommunication but we were waiting for him to announce it and that caused confusion because he thought we already did it. He also just didn’t make two of the announcements that we asked him to make. We also wanted to play a song for my cousins because it was their anniversary and he either didn’t say anything or didn’t even play it at all, so they didn’t get to have that moment. Overall though, still 4 stars because people were dancing all night like crazy and the ceremony went perfectly!

Al was amazing. He made things stress free from day one and kept that going. Throughout the reception, he helped us move through each moment in a fun way. He also accommodated a few heartfelt requests to remember family members who couldn’t be with us at our wedding. That meant a lot, because he did it with such care. Al brought the experience we were looking for, but also made sure the day felt very much like us. He was flexible, fun, and kept the dance floor busy all night. Lakeside DJs is THE choice for a DJ.

Just do yourself a favor and hire Lakeside DJs as your DJ. Al was not only professional but incredibly easy to work with. Once we shared what we were wanting he took the reins from there and made our wishes come true. All of my guests commented what a great range of music was played during our wedding - and we couldn't agree more!

DJ Al (Lakeside DJs) is very professional, easy to work with, affordably priced, and was awesome at our wedding event. They listened to the bride and groom's music preferences, and always kept them (the bride & groom) as first priority. I would absolutely choose them again.

We hired Al from Lakeside DJs, and he did a wonderful job. We had our wedding at the Homestead and needed 3 separate setups for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We didn’t have a lot of direction for what we wanted played other than the main songs, and he did a wonderful job keeping people up and dancing.

Al killed it at our wedding!! Everyone was on the dance floor most of the night, announcements were done professionally, flow and schedule was tight, and he even impromptu got my wife to do an Irish dance when the crowd was asking for it. If you want a DJ that keeps the party going, Al and Lakeside DJs are your best bet!

If you book someone other than Lakeside DJ's, you're missing out! I can't believe how organized, professional and talented Al Uryga was throughout our 2 year engagement (#COVID couple). He was so wonderful and was able to accommodate us even when we had to postpone. His communication was consistent throughout. On the day of he was extremely professional. He helped us identify what songs would make our day as special as possible and he did NOT disappoint. Thank you Al and Lakeside DJ's for making our day so special!

Music was VERY important for our wedding. We wanted people dancing as much as absolutely possible, and DJ Al made sure that happened! He was an integral part of our entire wedding. We had a non-traditional wedding that started with a cocktail hour. We had plenty of requests in terms of the music played - not your typical cocktail hour music, and he came through. We gave him a short list of music we would like played and he filled in the gaps nicely. He also provided the acoustics for our ceremony, which went off without a hitch. Of course, he was our reception DJ, again non-traditional. He worked with us to accommodate all of our requests. When it came time for dancing he played all of the music we wanted to hear, and none of the music we didn't want to hear! Needless to say, the dance floor was moving the entire night. DJ Al made the entire process as easy as it could be. He gave us a few sheets to fill out with our wants/dislikes and we walked through everything the week before the wedding. We could not have asked for a better wedding DJ (and many people told us the music was top notch). Thank you to DJ Al and Lakeside DJs for making the already stressful planning just a little bit less stressful, and for bringing down the house.

Al was great from the moment we booked with him! He was extremely thorough, thoughtful, and professional. Al set up a phone consult with us the week before our wedding and made sure he knew all important aspects to our day -- better yet, he made sure they all happened as planned on our wedding day and ON TIME. Everyone had a great time dancing thanks to his expertise in song choices.. There was never an empty spot on the dance floor and that says A LOT to how great of a DJ he is. We cannot recommend Al enough! If we could plan our wedding all over again, we would still choose Al.

Although we worked with Al up until our wedding, our DJ was Chris for our wedding night. He kept the party going and really made sure my husband and I were happy with the music selection. He helped with the execution of the timeline and everything went off without a hitch! I have no complaints!

Al was nothing short of phenomenal! He was professional and attentive from our first meeting all the way through to our last dance. He has a keen sense of his clientele and their guests. Wonderful MC for our evening announcements and he kept the dance floor full all night! Al surpassed our expectations. Not many folks/businesses anymore that I hire or deal with can I say are very worth their fees and costs. Al was actually very fair priced and worth every penny! DJ Al was THE BEST!! From the very beginning, he was friendly, personable, and organized. He made everything SO easy, especially with his ceremony and reception planning document. I knew exactly what he needed from us so he could do his thing. He did our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. All of them were in different locations, and the ceremony was outside. His equipment worked perfectly and the transitions from each spot were seamless. Our guests absolutely loved him—they couldn’t stop gushing about him when my husband and I were chatting with them at the reception. He played all different kinds of music to appeal to everyone and made sure the dance floor always had people on it! He strictly followed our “must play” and “do not play list” and made sure everything was done tastefully. I also have to add that he has the most beautifully smooth radio voice ever! Al was amazing! Our dance floor was never empty. And he helped with our live music ceremony sound! He was my little cousins favorite person for playing the Elmo’s world song. He catered the music to fit us to a T!

Al was an AMAZING DJ! You won’t regret hiring him for your wedding. He was approachable and helpful with planning details prior to the wedding. He always answered my phone calls and emails promptly. One the day of the wedding, he was super nice and helped with keeping the day running smoothly. Everybody is raving about how AWESOME our music was and everybody danced all night long!

Al truthfully was the reason that our event stayed on track and ran smoothly. I never realized how much a DJ did besides just play music but I let Al know what I wanted (bouquet and garter toss, cake cut after dinner, etc) and like most brides I wasn’t exactly sure how the timeline would play out but Al assured me he would take care of it and that was exactly what he did. He made sure the event flowed naturally and would make suggestions such as “now would be a good time to greet guests at their tables and following that we can announce cake cutting” and it was so helpful. People were dancing all night long with a good mix of different kinds of music. Would highly recommend Lakeside DJs.

Lakeside DJs came through for our wedding on 9/25. Our original DJ cancelled last minute back in February and Al was able to set us up with a new amazing one. Even through a few crazy hiccups because of COVID, I couldn’t have been happier with our DJ choice. Our dance floor was honestly full ALL night. Highly recommend.

Al was an essential piece to having our wedding go off as smooth as it did! When we needed to change timelines last minute he was so accommodating and made the stress levels of last minute changes no existent and Did more than any of us could ask for! From the beginning everything with Lakeside DJs was wonderful and professional. They were responsive to emails and questions and reliable. Chris, the DJ, couldn’t have worked harder the day of our wedding to make sure the ceremony and wedding went smoothly. He had to go the extra mile to make sure our friends who couldn’t be there were able to be heard through the mic system and cue up the prayer and the best man speech. He communicated with me throughout the reception to make sure we were ready for cake cutting, dances and toasts and had to go around communicating to all of the other vendors when things changed. Like I said, he was working so hard. Then when it came time for music we had a blast. He played a variety of music and made sure all of our requests were played. It couldn’t have gone any better. I highly recommend LakeSide DJs and ask for Christopher Graham to be your DJ!

We had DJ Al for our wedding and we could not have asked for a better one. We spoke with him only a few times but he picked up on our musical tastes and truly listened to what we wanted. My husband referenced a song during his vows that we later danced to and Al gave the song a special introduction and referenced my husband's vows. It made for a special moment. His equipment sounded great. I was especially surprised at how great his microphone picked up my voice since I have trouble projecting. He even helped set up our niece who played a special song during the ceremony. I very highly recommend using Lakeside DJs for your wedding. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent DJ! Wonderful person, great to have as a host for our wedding day. He was able to make the day very special for us. Great music selection. Knows how to keep the party going. Kept the timeline for the day on track. He took care of all the little details that you don't want to be stressing about. All the AV was set up and ready to go. He helped us pick out ceremony songs and even provided multiple versions of the instrumentals we were interested in for us to choose from. Highly highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!

DJ Al was incredible!! Our guests loved the song choices and were dancing for the entire night. When they turned the lights on to end the night there were resounding boo’s to keep the party going. Overall incredibly positive, easy and memorable experience.

Chris was such a great DJ. He helped us coordinate playing a video we made of family members who couldn’t travel here because of the virus restrictions which meant so much to us. All our guest commented how great the music was and had such a fun time. Played a lot of Song requests from our guests !!!
