From our chandeliered Grand Ballroom to our gazebo ceremony site overlooking an historic championship golf course, the Claflin House has been designed for a celebration that feels like it belongs to you alone. Our in-house culinary team crafts fresh, seasonal, menus impossible to replicate at a hotel ballroom.
We offer packages for 50–190 guests with all-inclusive, transparent pricing. Everything is here: extensive landscaping, patios, and a gazebo perfect for outdoor ceremonies and picture taking, a private bridal suite with separate bride and groom rooms, a complimentary golf foursome, a custom tiered wedding cake, and five hours of premium open bar.

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Grand Venetian at The Lakewood Country Club on 9/27/19 and could not be happier. This wedding venue really has it all...
- professional and courteous staff, a beautiful event space, gorgeous centerpieces, elegant table settings, FANTASTIC food (so important!!), and plenty of outdoor space amidst a lush green golf course. Radona and her staff were truly second to none, the whole wedding was executed with pure professionalism, care and attention to detail. Radona was on top of everything from our very first meeting with her - from giving us a run down of the ceremony/wedding itself (we had a lot of questions as this was a first for both my husband and I), to scheduling a tasting, to putting us in touch with the bakery for our cake and even recommending DJ's and other vendors we were still in search of. Needless to say, we booked this venue for our wedding on the spot and could not recommend it enough. I do feel the need to reiterate once again that the food was amazing and there was an abundance of it during the cocktail hour and the reception (we chose the buffet package) - I just wish I had more time to enjoy it during the wedding!

lub! Leading up into the day, I had a ton of questions for Christine, and she handled them with ease and grace, never once getting frustrated with my silly, amateur questions. We had several food allergies coming to the wedding as well (2 extreme gluten allergies, and another extreme shellfish and nut allergy). The venue handled these with ease and professionalism. I can not thank you all enough for making everything so smooth. We had such an amazing day, and you were a huge part of that. The venue itself looked gorgeous, and everyone looked so put together. You worked so well with out other vendors, and everything came together amazingly well. The food was also excellent, everyone seemed to really enjoy it! Loved the prime rib! The only thing I will say is the cake got cleared so fast, that almost no one got a chance to taste it. Other then that, flawless! Thank you Lakewood Country Club, for making our day unforgettable!

b who saved our wedding day! She was so unbelievably understanding and willing to do anything she could to make sure our day would be perfect! My husband and I are so happy and very thankful for her and the entire staff at LCC for making our day everything we wanted and MORE. The entire staff went ABOVE and BEYOND our expectations to ensure that our day was perfect, and it was! I cannot say enough great things about them! Amazing place and wonderful staff!!!

The Lakewood Country Club was the most perfect place for our wedding. We were married outside at the gazebo and had our reception inside in the ballroom. The grounds were beautiful...
and the inside was just as nice. The staff, especially Courtney, was extrememly responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. They were so accommodating to all of our requests - they let me and my girls come in early to get dressed/take picture and they put up all my decorations so I didn't have to do anything that day. The cost was very affordable and it covered everything, which made my life a little easier! I would definitely recommend the Lakewood Country Club to anyone!!

we could find in our budget. The food was amazing and the room is lovely. Flo runs the show and becomes like a family member, she is excellent at making everything perfect. It is a very nice place to have your reception as there are some nice attatchments to the hall where guests can go for drinks afterwards. You will be impressed by the spread and elegance of the Country Club. My only suggestion is, if you are having your wedding/reception there, have it at night, NOT the day.

e. The food was amazing! We had a choice from Salmon, Chicken Francaise and Prime Rib. Everything was reasonably priced and absolutely beautiful. Our ceremony was outside at the Gazebo, overlooking the golf course. We also had our rehearsal dinner there as well at Maggie Moo's which was a lot of fun! Especially after hours at the outside tiki-bar with live music! I loved working with my wedding coordinator, Flo! She was always there when I needed her via the telephone since I was living in Florida at the time, she always responded in a timely fashion and was consistently in her "A-game". Mindy, my maitre d', was awesome! She was my side kick the entire day. Everything that needed to be taken care of or changed or organized was done without me even having to ask her. It was like she could read my mind! & lastly, Carolyn, head of the wait staff. She made our wedding flow so easily and carefree. She was there at every minute to get myself and my husband a drink if needed, help us to cutting the cake, making sure our food was okay, she was an Angel! I've heard through many of the staff that I was one of the happiest brides they've worked with in a very long time and I have to say it's because of the beautiful, stunning job that they did that day. Thank you ladies!! :)

GUEST WERE CHARGED FOR THEY'RE BEVERAGES WHEN MY CONTRACT INCLUDED THEY'RE DRINKS. INSTEAD OF MY GUEST ENJOYING SOME DRINKS, THEY HAD TO PAY FOR THEM. ON TOP OF THAT, THE INITIALS ON MY CAKE WERE INCORRECT! I HONESTLY WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.
