ographer with a great eye, but we will never forget her willingness to hike through tall grass and bushes and climb rocks to get beautiful photos for us. She was one of the easiest vendors to work with for our wedding day. She had scoped out spots for our photos, but when a couple of our family members insisted on taking photos in a different spot, she was flexible and willing to accommodate, or she took 3 or 4 photos in the spot to demonstrate why the light wasn't ideal. No matter what, we always felt like she was listening to what we wanted and did everything she could to get that for us. Layla sent a preview of a couple of photos (~50) shortly after the wedding, along with the whole gallery less than a month after the wedding. I highly recommend her for any occasion but especially for your wedding day!

Our venue was a bit of a challenge being on a boat during sunset in downtown Chicago with limited space, but Layla did an incredible job capturing the evening and made each of our guests shine. This was so important to us since our families are spread across the country and rarely get together – let alone have professional photos taken! She was also incredibly patient with us for having an engagement shoot that included our dog, and made sure he was the star of this photoshoot. :) Throughout the process, Layla was incredibly communicative, provided great direction and made sure her shot list included everyone and everything we needed. We spoke with som any great photographers, but Layla went above and beyond to capture all of the details that made our day amazing. We'd work with her again in a heartbeat!

choose which photos were my favorite because there were so many. When my Husband and I reviewed our photos, it took us back to our Wedding day and we could relive every moment. Layla Eloa is also very professional and prompt. I made a timeline for my wedding and it was very important to me that we stuck to it for the flow & logistics of the wedding. Many guests after the wedding mentioned Layla's name as someone they will remember, for being kind and gracious (and talented)! Layla was also brave, standing on an adjacent balconey to capture a photo of all our guests in one shot -- what a treasure! We have gotten a sneak peek of the wedding photos, and they are of the highest quality and authentic style we were seeking. We initially booked Layla to shoot our wedding because of her bubbly personality and her beautiful photographer skills, but really found the value in our choice during the reschedule when she was flexible, responsive and caring. We felt like Layla truly wanted our wedding day to be the most perfect ever. Our engagement shoot really helped us get comfortable in front of the camera, and our wedding day would not have been the same without Layla! She kept us on track/time, she helped keep me calm during weather uncertainty and got some truly amazing shots of our family and bridal party. Not to mention some stunning portraits of Jake and me. And ladies, if you are thinking of a boudoir shoot, please hire Layla! I did it as a present for Jake for the wedding and the photos were the perfect amount of playful and sexy. She reached out beforehand with helpful questions on what my vision was in addition to a questionnaire. I wanted pictures around town in addition to to my venue and she helped me pick locations that not only photographed well, but made sense for my timeline. Photography on “Day Of” I have gorgeous photographs of my wedding that I have already framed and will cherish for a lifetime! I always thought that having a late April wedding meant pretty spring photos BUT Chicago had other plans that included a blizzard. Layla had no problem capturing some of the most gorgeous pictures I’ve seen in the snow.

The lessons learned during our engagement photo session helped us prepare for our wedding day. In preparation for our wedding day, Layla communicated in advance everything that was going to happen, and that she will bring in another photographer, free of charge, to assist her. Layla was extremely flexible in accommodating all of the changes that we made. On the wedding day, she her assistant photographer were very dedicated and clearly communicated with us to make sure that they capture all of the special moments. We enjoyed having her with us, because we felt that she truly cared about us, and was happy to be working with us. After the wedding, Layla was very quick to share with us the photos after the wedding, and we are so happy with how the photos came out. She is one of my favorite vendors I have worked with, and highly recommend her to all!
