I was very late to the game thinking about signage for the wedding and had admired Valeries work on IG for a while, so thankfully she was available for our date and we got right to work on designing everything. It was such a seamless process and Valerie and her team made it seem so easy to create all these beautiful design pieces that were previously big stressors for me. She was an absolute godsend and we cannot recommend her services enough. My husband and I got married in January 2024 in Sayulita Mexico and she helped us plan and design it all in under 5 months. Not only were her design kits stunning, but they were helpful visual aids for us to communicate with our vendors & wedding planner to execute the overall vision/aesthetic. We knew we were in good hands immediately after our initial meeting. She is truly a professional and consulted us along every step of the way with things like pricing/budgeting, recommending dress codes, sourcing rentals, designing/ordering paper goods & signage, the list goes on. Valerie is the incredibly talented fairy godmother you NEED for your wedding day! I hired Valerie for her design, coordination, and signage services and could not recommend her more for each. From the start of meeting Valerie and explaining my vision for our wedding, she made us feel at ease with her process and inspired with all of her ideas she had to create a cohesive design. The design board she created was exactly what I pictured and extremely detailed from the color and type of florals to the table settings, layout, signage, and more. I felt confident booking our vendors such as florists and rentals using the design board and sharing Valerie's visual explanations. Valerie also nailed our signage pulled straight from the design board and created beautiful moments for our guests with our invitations, seating chart, dinner menus, table numbers, bar menus, etc. Where Valerie exceeded our expectations and truly made our day magical was her coordination. As soon as Valerie came on board, she was organized, timely, and took on all communications with my vendors. She was willing and happy to talk through every tiny detail or concern leading up to the day, especially navigating vendor deliveries and personal item drop-offs/pickups that were difficult for us traveling from out of town to our venue. We were able to fully enjoy every moment of our wedding day knowing that Valerie was carrying out our vision and had us covered. It was incredibly impressive watching how she was able to execute our timeline seamlessly, corral our friends and family to where they needed to be, and still be so friendly and approachable for anything we needed throughout the whole day to night. We are so grateful that we hired Valerie!

Valerie helped me design and pull off the backyard surprise anniversary party of a lifetime for my in-laws! Going into wedding planning I knew I wanted to go BIG with the details, paper good and signage. I knew it would bring to life my vision and it would also bring all the color for my wedding. I was told "the only girl in the game you want to use then is Val and LBV Design House". So quite literally that day, I put a retainer down super early to make sure she was secured for my date. I am SO happy I took that recommendation and trusted Val to take my dreams of a GIANT seating chart, amazing cake moment, and all of the other signs throughout the day. She absolutely killed it and made what some may think to be just "cardboard, wood and paper" and make it freaking LUXURY and the staple and centerpiece to my wedding day and wedding design. She isnt afraid of a challenge and actually she invites it. She wants to make magic for you and make big magic. She also helped in the areas that I didnt want to make decisions (I.e. the perfect color or font) as she has a far better design eye than I do. She made everything seamless and I never had to worry a minute things wouldnt turn out like I had hoped with Val. In fact, things were so much better than I could have even imagined when they came to life. If you want high end, perfection in your signage, paper goods and all things details then Val and LBV Design House is your girl. Hiring Valerie with LBV Design House was one of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding day!!! From the very beginning, Valerie was incredibly attentive and always made me feel comfortable and taken care of through out the entire wedding planning process. Valerie is a talented designer, planner, calligrapher, you name it! She thought of so many intentional and personal touches for us to add to our wedding day. The ceremony space design with Papel picado hanging above and maracas on every chair, the parade from the ceremony to cocktail hour with the mariachi and the Mojigangas, the custom bars and umbrellas at cocktail hour, the silhouette artist she found for us, the table designs for dinner with signature napkins and linens, the dance hall design with a hanging floral feature and cake display, everything was magical!!! I asked my husband if there was anything he wished was different and him and I both agreed that we wouldn’t change a thing because it was literal perfection! Her assistant, Anita, was also amazing! Her and Valerie made everything so easy for us. They were both so communicative leading up to the wedding and on the day-of. We had time constraints for set-up at the venue, and Valerie, Anita, and the LBV team made sure everything was done on time and all of the vendors were taken care of. They managed deliveries and pick-ups and made the day absolutely seamless for us. They checked in with us frequently and made sure my husband and I were always taken care of! The entire LBV team was incredible. We’re so grateful for each and every one of them for making our dream wedding day become a reality! THANK YOU LBV DESIGN HOUSE. WE LOVE YOU.

My wife and I had an AMAZING experience working with LBV Design House for all our design, signage and coordination needs!! Planning a wedding can be so stressful and before we started working with Valerie and her team we were feeling so overwhelmed. Valerie was a pleasure to work with!! My only regret is that she was not LBV Design House during my wedding planning, because otherwise, I would have used more of her services!! I stumbled upon Valerie's IG early on when I first got engaged, prior to any major planning. At the time, she was Lettered By Valerie and had not yet moved into LBV Design House. After my initial outreach, she scheduled a consultation where I got to know her a bit more, and she listened to what my ideas and thoughts were when it came to signage and stationary for my big day. I immediately knew I wanted Valerie to do my invitation suite because I am in love with her signature font. At the time, she mentioned she didn't typically do invite suites but was willing to try it out. I truly appreciate her willingness to experiment with me as it turned out amazing! Throughout the process of designing the invites and other signage, it was super easy to provide feedback and requests back and forth. I loved her responsiveness and attention to detail throughout the entire process! I was so freakin excited to see everything come to life on the day-of! The invite, seating chart, bar signs, welcome signs, VEIL, etc. all tied into the perfect vision for my day. I loved everything! I wish I went with my gut and had an even bigger statement seating chart - but budgets always win.... (and unfortunately, I don't have a single picture of the seating chart ugh) Do yourself a favor and book Valerie for signage, design (I love all of her designs and inspo on IG), and any other event planning services you may need! I'm already plotting how to have a vow renewal so that I can work with her again :)

Valerie did a fantastic job as our design/signage vendor. She came highly recommended to us by our planner and venue coordinator. Logistics: From the get-go, she was organized and prompt with communication. She set clear expectations, was early to every deadline, and went through multiple proposals until we found the final design. Design: Her conceptual design work was unique and creative while merging seamlessly with our existing floral and planner designs. She is incredibly detail-oriented. She combed through all of our guest menus to make sure they were accurate and made sure to confirm the last name I would be using (as the bride). Flexibility: She worked with our florist and planner to reuse some of our aisle centerpieces as floral installations for our seating chart. Overall, we highly recommend her!

Nearly as soon as I booked my wedding in Austin (we live in NYC), I knew that I wanted to work Valerie. There is truly no one like her! I loved following her brand on instagram and watching all of the creative signage statement pieces she designed, uniquely for each wedding. When it came time for us to hire someone for signage, there was really only one option (& we didn't even have a spot in the budget for it but I KNEW we had to work with her)! After a few consults back and forth (via our wedding planner that Val has a great relationship with- Blue Sparrow Events hire her too :)), she presented us with several options within our budget. From there, I continued to be so impressed (I am not impressed easily, and Val had the best communication and attention to detail of any of our vendors). When it came time to design, my husband and I had several ideas but Val took it to the next level. In her first draft mockup she included designs from my gown designer in a chic wallpaper print- I was floored. It was instantly clear that she was an absolute pro. She was organized and sent us a timeline of what would go down over the next few weeks and clearly outlined our deadlines, so that she could do the best possible work. She implemented every tiny detail change we asked for with enthusiasm, usually within 24 hours. Wild in the wedding industry. Truly the best experience ever. When we landed in Austin the Wednesday before our wedding, we needed to retrieve the welcome bag inserts that Valerie designed so that we could quickly get the bags to our guests' hotels. Val made a house call at 8pm! Of course this was a lovely experience and we finally got to meet in person! Everything Val designed for our wedding day turned out IMMACULATE. She has an insane talent and attention to detail. The pieces completely tied our wedding design together in a perfect bow. All of our guests were impressed, and we were thrilled. Val also is so kind and has the best positive energy! I would 10000% hire her again, and I know she has expanded her services- hire her for everything! Items Val created to perfection for our wedding day: -custom statement signage piece (loved the first draft she sent me, again not easy to please) -welcome bag inserts -custom bar menus with illustrations of our cocktails and dog! -dinner menus -custom head table place cards -taco station & dessert table tent cards -custom acrylic box for cards -other cutie signage all around! Hands down incredible vendor and experience!!!

We hired Valerie to do some of our day of signage elements for our wedding. She was so organized and enthusiastic from the first time that we spoke and it made us very excited to work with her. Valerie’s proposal provided so many creative options for us to choose from and then along the way she continued to make suggestions that only elevated the design. The plaster effect on the signage was such a subtle change in theory but oh my god, it was so stunning and eye catching in person. She did such an amazing job and we had multiple guests comment on what a wow moment the seating chart display was for them. There were some minor typos in our final prints that should have been caught, but they didn't detract from the beauty of the signage. We celebrated the perfect wedding with the most perfect wedding planner! Val took care of every detail with her expertise and exceptional ideas which made the wedding perfect. She was thorough from the planning stages to the bride and groom send off. Communications and meetings were top notch to answer any questions and to keep us informed of the vendors progress. As the mother of the bride, I was a bit nervous but she kept the bride and myself calm on the big day and was always there with an answer to my questions. Valerie was so easy to work with and did an amazing job bringing our proposed seating chart design to life! Valerie was very prompt when arriving to our venue and found the perfect spot for the seating chart. Guests said it was well organized, they found their name easily, and looked really nice!

Extremely professional, anticipated issues regarding weather and great solutions. We had a wonderful day due to her coordination and her contacts after being in the wedding industry with experience and relationships to solve the problems that arose. Both the venue and the rental places were extremely impressed with the communication and clarity of the timeline, the pivot of the timeline due to weather and the paper parties placed in the loop for a certain experience or part of the ceremony. ( ie music, she left nothing to chance for the processional song with the strings and the piano) I can't think of a time she wasn't responsive unless she had notified us she was unavailable for a weekend etc. We had a family large wedding with tent and ceremony with inclement weather and all I remember is what a wonderful day it was!

I've been a fan girl of Lettered by Valerie for a while now and was so excited she was available for our wedding weekend. Valerie delivered on absolutely every aspect and our end products far exceeded our expectations. She was communicative on the process, timelines, options and price points, what she needed from us, and was patient with my edits and questions. We were STUNNED on the wedding day and so happy when we saw everything in real life. We asked Valerie to cover up a piece of our venue we weren't thrilled about with an 8' welcome sign in addition to bar signs, escort/place cards, menus, and table numbers. Every thing was perfect and beautiful and we are so thrilled with her work and support. Valerie has an amazing eye for design and is so helpful, quick, and honest throughout the process. Valerie created the most unbelievable seating chart for our wedding — designing, producing and delivering the massive work of art in just under 3 weeks (it was a last minute decision we made right before our wedding)! It may have been a last minute add, but it certainly was one of the best decisions we made! Our seating chart was an incredible 8x7 foot masterpiece that was the most perfect welcome for all of our wedding guests. The seating chart set the scene for the rest of the space that our guests would soon experience. Valerie also worked seamlessly along with our wedding planner and florist to bring the full vision to life. We can’t recommend her enough, she is incredibly talented and she truly embodied our multi-cultural wedding theme to create something so memorable for us and our guests alike!

Valerie did an outsstanding job on our signage for ceremony signage with QR codes, cocktail,-reception menus, Bar drinks menu that perfectly aligned with our winter wonderland theme!! We loved the frosted glass, snowflake customized signs! They added so much flair to our theme and looked so elegant!! Valerie was easy to work with and had a very methodical way of collaborating with us! She also took many last minute requests and we are very appreciatve of her amazing work!

We contacted Valerie about a little more than a month before our wedding, after seeing her work on Instagram. She replied almost instantly to our request and immediately set up a phone call to discuss our vision and needs for our big day. She gave us a ton of ideas and inspiration photos. We ended up getting a custom wood welcome board that we were able to keep and hang up in our home that we absolutely love! The other big piece we used was her brand new custom seating chart with ombre seating cards in our wedding colors and it was such a big hit with our guests! I would give Valerie 1 million stars if I could. I found her in the 12th hour literally before the wedding. Valerie responded immediately to me that evening and it was after midnight. She asked when I could talk and could hear the stress in my writing I am sure because she said if you need me tonight even we can talk through it. OH MY GOSH ladies...she called and stayed on the phone until 1am working through it to make sure I felt at ease. She literally created all of the signs, menus, cocktail menu, seating chart, personal letter to my husband and so much more in under a week AND provided samples of her work in a variety of calligraphy styles and colors so we could choose which one would best suit our needs. I also found her prices to be very reasonable. Ultimately, I leaned into her thoughts to so many other items she suggested and I am glad I did. She has an eye for design and hearing where you want detail in your day. Rather than dealing with shipping,Valerie met me at the venue on the wedding day and then asked to set everything up for me. Everything turned out SO great and we received rave reviews from our guests! I would recommend Valerie to anyone wanting calligraphy to add to their special occasion.
