I cannot thank Lee enough for her work on my wedding dress. I wore the dress til 4 AM the night of my wedding and didn't even want to take it off. It fit so perfectly!! She did an outstanding job and we only did 2 fittings! Lee was also an absolute pleasure to work with. I felt so calm with her and immediately trusted her skills and her knowledge. She even made a stunning kerchief from the excess hem to match the dress. I highly, highly recommend Lee!!

Lee did an excellent job with the alterations to my dress! She fixed the fit in the shoulders, hemmed it, shaped the butt area, and created new bows for it! She was very welcoming and I felt super comfortable with her. She is very fast with communication which is also so important, as I needed to reschedule a few times. Everything was on time and so beautifully done!

A few months before my wedding I called to have my dress altered from the salon I purchased my dress. They told me they recently where down a seamstress and I was out of luck, I’d have to go else where. Of course I was in a panic!! I frantically started to look up places I could go, and stumbled upon Lees Instagram!! After talking to a mutual friend who raved about her I booked an appointment! Lee was booked up but took me anyways, thank goodness!!! She was beyond a pleasure to work with. I was very nervous because my dress was definitely a few sizes too large. Lee took out her scissors and immediately started to get to work. The dress basically needed to be completely reconstructed. When I came back I couldn’t believe how perfect my dress came out. It fit perfectly and you would never be able to tell the amount of work she had to do! It looked like it was made for me!! Lee is beyond talented and so sweet! Please go to her for your bridal dress alterations! You won’t be disappointed!

Lee completed alterations on my wedding dress for my October 2023 wedding. From my initial phone call, Lee was informative, clear, and communicative. I had the initial appointment to meet with her and then the second appointment to try on my dress to ensure alterations were done to my liking. I am so glad that we found Lee!! My wife and I were nervous about finding a seamstress who would work well with a same-sex couple. Lee was friendly, professional, incredibly skilled, and absolutely lovely to work with. Her alterations to both of our wedding gowns were perfect, and her background as a costumer enabled her to give us great advice about things like taping a low-cut neckline and attaching back jewelry. I even brought in the vintage dress I wore for our rehearsal dinner, and Lee fixed a busted seam and reinforced the pockets for no extra charge. Hire this woman!!

I bought a sample sale dress off the rack that was larger than my size and Lee altered it perfectly! I felt very comfortable talking with her about things I was worried about and she was able to fix them for me. She even shortened a veil for me! Her services were affordable, as well. Lee was fantastic! Upon arrival at my first fitting, Lee noticed significant staining on my dress from the bridal shop I purchased from. She walked me through all my options and helped me remain calm in this moment of panic. She even assured me we had plenty of time to fix the dress and alter it prior to my wedding day. I was able to get the dress cleaned/fixed and Lee was able to do all the alterations. She was so easy to work with, helped me feel comfortable and listened to what I wanted. Lee did an incredible job with my wedding gown alterations. I worked with her and Bliss Bridal in Cheshire to make my dress even more beautiful than when I bought it! Lee was patient and listened to our requests. The dress was ready on time and I received SO many compliments on how it fit. Lee also helped my mom with her Mother of the Bride gown-she added sleeves and hemmed a very tricky horsehair/sequin dress. It fit mom perfectly and it was exactly what she wanted. Lee was amazing! My dress did not need too much adjusting but she was so helpful in working with me on determining exactly what was going to look best. She was patient as I debated different bustle options and overall, she did a wonderful job. My dress looked perfect and alterations were very affordable.

Lee was absolutely amazing! The shop I got my dress from ordered it very big but Lee did an amazing job making it fit perfectly. She listened to my concerns and made changes to the dress accordingly. I was not feeling confident with my dress when it finally got it delivered, but after Lee finished the alterations I felt so confident in it and much happier with what she changed for me. Lee altered both mine & my wife's wedding dresses back in October. She was great to work with, listened to what we wanted, and they came out perfect. The appointments were quick, easy, and enjoyable. I personally asked for her to make my boobs look great in my really low cut dress and she did not disappoint! Cost was affordable, and the communication and results were great. I would definitely recommend her services.

I was lucky enough to be introduced to Lee through my sister, and unknowingly purchased a dress that looked simple but was secretly hiding tons of layers that needed taming to fit correctly. We giggled at the weird design, worked together to find the right solutions to the challenges we uncovered and made really solid suggestions that made a world of difference when the day finally came! I still owe Lee an edible arrangement for all her time and dedication to ensuring I left completely happy and I hope nothing but the best things for her in the future!

Lee was enjoyable and easy to work with, positive, and highly skilled. I felt so beautiful and comfortable in my dress and it showed in all my pictures! It fit perfectly and we only needed 2 alteration appointments to make it perfect - one for measurements and another for a final try on. Lee did an amazing job altering my dress for my late September wedding! Not only did it fit like a glove, but working with her was a wonderful experience! At your first fitting, she'll explain the alterations process from head to toe and give you options (for things like bustle types, hem, cups), and patiently help you determine what is best for you. She has a calming presence that put me at ease, and she really takes the time to make sure you're comfortable. Also, my 'something borrowed' was my aunt's (early '80s) veil, and Lee modified that beautifully for a more contemporary look. I'd wholeheartedly recommend Lee to any brides in the area!

However, the moment I met Lee I was instantly relieved. She pays such close attention to detail and is extremely knowledgeable/talented. Lee is a craftswoman. She really understood how my dress was made, how it would sit on me, and therefore had exert opinions on what needed to be altered for it to fit and look right. She was easy to work with and flexible.

Lee is AMAZING!!!! First of all, I just want to say that getting my dress fitted was an emotional experience for me, as I struggle with having all eyes on me in a showy number. Lee made me feel SO beautiful and confident. My dress fit like a glove. I have extremely sensitive skin and upon my final fitting, the original straps of my dress scratched me badly causing hives. I was SO NERVOUS I would be red and in pain all day; but Lee took my dress home and remade... yes REMADE my straps in a different fabric and beaded it so it looked the the original in one evening! That saved my wedding day and really made me feel so special (sans hives). I truly recommend Lee to anyone who needs their dress fitted and also needs a little pep talk to boost their confidence!! Lee is talented, upbeat, honest, and professional. It is clear that she enjoys what she does. Talking with her during alterations was like talking with a friend, she made me feel extremely comfortable and laid out all of the options available for my dress. (Train length, lace placement, bustle, etc.) Thanks to her my wedding dress for me perfectly and I cannot wait to wear it in just a few weeks. I cannot recommend her highly enough! Lee was the absolute BEST to work with during all of the many changes that occurred for our wedding for 2020. I had originally scheduled with Lee for my original dress and when plans began to change I had found a different dress that I felt was more fitting for our mini wedding, Lee graciously took on working on this second dress for me during all of the craziness that 2020 had sent our way. Lee was the most calm spirit during this process, she was prompt to respond and her work was incredible. She not only made me feel absolutely beautiful as she made my second hand gown fit like a glove, but she also made me feel the excitement that I had originally felt when trying on wedding dresses. Lee was amazing to work with! She’s super talented. It can be really scary to trust someone with your wedding dress but Lee is definitely someone I recommend. Her demeanor is welcoming and she made me feel comfortable and safe during the 2020 craziness. Timely, professional, and skilled! During my fittings I wasn’t sure if my June wedding was happening let alone if I’d be able to wear my dress. Lee was very encouraging and addressed all my concerns. Lee was amazing. She had a flexible schedule which was very much appreciated due to my crazy schedule mixed with my maid of honors’. She was professional, yet personable and extremely knowledgeable. She understood what I meant when I couldn’t quite explain things. My dress was absolutely perfect and I have her to thank! Highly recommend!

My wedding was in April of 2019. I had chosen a wedding dress from Bliss Bridal and wanted to put some bling around the upper part of the dress, The dress also was a little long and because it had layers of horsehair it was a delicate job to do. Lee Dumas was the seamstress that did the work. Lee was professional and friendly. She listened to what I wanted and made suggestions that were things I had never thought of. Her work is impeccable and every detail is thought of and done with perfection. She added bling around the bust line of my dress and understood that I wanted it to stop under my arms so they wouldn’t be rubbing against it all night causing me discomfort. Somehow Lee managed to put the bling on and have it stop by the underarms, yet looked like it continued into the dress. She also was able to hem my dress with the horsehair layers and still have my veil (with the layers also) match when I walked down the aisle. The effect was beautiful. Any little thing I requested (a small stitch in the front, to put loops for my bling belt so it would stay at my waist), she did. It was more than her being a great seamstress (which she is), it was her positive attitude and the ”little touches” she provided that showed what a great professional she is and how passionate she is about making every bride look their best!

I had her alter a bridesmaid dress for me. Not only did she work an exceptional amount of magic to make it fit me (I’d gained 10lbs since buying it and it was form fitting to start) she did it while boosting my confidence. Which was no mean feat, I did NOT feel confident in that dress till she’d finished with it. She was fast, professional, reasonably priced and charming. I will absolutely be coming to her for anything I need altered forever.

My. Gown. Was. Perfect. Obviously, I was in love with my dress having purchased it, but off the rack it was ill fitting and slouchy. Once Lee was finished with it, it was a one of a kind masterpiece that made me feel like a svelte goddess (btw: I’m not that, but you couldn’t have told me so while I was wearing that gown!) I’ve never been more pleased or impressed with someone’s craftsmanship and understanding of their art. Lee was honest with me while still displaying incredible listening skills and a divine controlled skill of her sewing craft. Thank you, Lee! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
