I highly recommend Life Gallery Studio. Scott was so easy to work with! He helped us organize everything and put together a good timeline for our wedding day. Our photographer was Monica and our videographer was Joseph. They were very friendly and knew exactly what they were doing. Monica made us feel comfortable and it showed in the photos. Monica made sure to get all of the photos we asked for and she really captured everyone’s emotions.

Life Gallery is amazing! We got to work with Mike, Jason, and Brian for our photography and videography on our wedding day and they were fantastic! So fun to work with and very professional! I would always recommend them to anyone getting married.

Could not have asked for a better company to work with. Firstly, their quality for their price is a win win. They walked my husband and I through every step of the process, stayed in contact with us which truly helped comfort and guide us, and answered all of our questions immediately. They most definitely understand customer service and they paired us with the most wonderful photographer, Jonathan. Even our guests afterwards commented on how fun and personable he was. He was around enough to get to know him, but kindly and respectfully, was not noticeable or in the way. Sorry, not sure how to say that in a nice way. He also made us extremely comfortable when I am someone who is not comfortable with taking photos. The variety of photos we received were immense and fantastic. It was great to be able to have so much to choose from to make sure everyone was happy with them. A huge bonus for us was being able to have all of the photos digitally, while still having the service of paying for incredibly well priced albums and printed photos. Would highly recommend and honestly already have to our friends.

Company was very friendly. They asked us to select a large amount of photos from their whole gallery and that is how they selected our photographer. They selected Michael for us. He was a interesting guy but had a lot of patience and had great ideas for photographs. He was also very flexible with when and how we wanted pictures taken (we did couples photos at 3 different points after the ceremony).

Life Gallery Photo & Video was amazing to work with and our wedding photos turned out beautifully! We booked an engagement session in advance of the wedding so we could meet and work with our photographer Mike. He was excellent - professional, timely, flexible, and full of great photo idea. We felt so comfortable and our shots turned out gorgeous! For our wedding, we had Mike and Monica taking pictures and they did not disappoint! They captured all the shots we wanted and more. We love our photos and will treasure them forever. Working with Scott for all of the logistics and orders was also very easy! He was organized, helpful, and they offer great rates and prices for the DC metro area. We highly recommend Life Gallery!!

We had a wonderful experience with Mike our photographer on our wedding day and at our engagement shoot. We haven't received our wedding photos yet, because out wedding was just on the 14th of October. Our engagement photos were stunning. On our wedding day he aimed to please, and he made sure he used every single minute of his time to capture our day.

I’m pleased with the experience I had with LGS. The photographers were extremely pleasant and accommodating. I had no issues communicating with anyone affiliated with the studio. I was a little disappointed that, despite having two photographers for the day, we did not get any photos of our guests at cocktail hour. After the wedding day I was told by several people in my wedding party/family that one of the photographers chose to partake in the hors d’oeuvres instead of photographing our guests doing so (I was too preoccupied to notice, myself). There were a few minor things I would change in some of the photos I received (spreading out my train, mentioning to my mother about an errant bra strap, etc) but the overall experience was a good one! I honestly enjoyed working with everyone and the overwhelming majority of my photos are lovely.

We had a great time working with Scott of Life Gallery Studio. His prices are reasonable and our photos turned out great! Though our wedding day turned rainy before the ceremony, our photographer adapted and gave us great shots from inside our venue! He had a keen eye to line us up at our venue in a beautiful balcony for pre-ceremony shots. He also had time to get photos of each guest table during our reception - a treasured shot which we will enjoy looking at for years to come! He also got great candids of our dance, father/daughter and mother/son as well as the free dancing after dinner. Thank you Life Gallery Studio!

Very professional team. Unfortunately, I can't give you more than 5 starts you guys deserve 10 starts and more, thank you for amazing job. We enjoyed work with Mike, HE IS THE BEST!!! We had a bad weather in my wedding day and he get the best pictures with hurricane Florence. Thanks Scott for your patience, and professionalism we had a couple changes and you work with us.

Rhonda was absolutely wonderful! We could not have asked for better pictures. She had some great suggestions, not only for our engagement shots but also for our photos with our bridal party. I didn’t know where to go but we just told her the types of things we enjoyed doing and the look we were looking for and she had suggestions that matched our style! Also the day of she took charge and did a wonderful job keeping everyone calm. And she managed to capture three massive family photos (25+ people in each photo) in under 15 minutes! We loved working with life Gallery studios.

To say we were ecstatic about how our pictures both the engagement and wedding is an understatement- we absolutely loved them!! But what is more important, at least to me, is how comfortable I felt with the entire picture taking process and that is 100% due to our photographer Jonathon who made sure to listen to my ideas and my personal hesitation with having my picture taken and it turn it into an AWESOME experience. He went above and beyond on the wedding day as well- one it was hot and humid and he was a trooper!! Second he knew all the tricks of the trade from a groomsmen tie disaster to bustling of my dress!! Come on what guy knows how to do that???!!! Finally I also appreciate how quickly the pictures were made available to us- very quick turnaround and the finished product was amazing. Life gallery studio was fantastic and I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a photographer for your wedding. Our photographer from Life Gallery really helped make our big day what we consider “perfect”. Even with impending inclement weather, the photographer maintained his composure and got all the shots that we desired JUST before a bucket of rain poured down. We hired Life Gallery Studios for our wedding on Sept. 2nd. The owner, Scott, was a pleasure to work with from the get go. He helped us pick the best package for our day and was willing to work with us when we had a change of heart about our venue, which prompted us to move our date by a day. Scott was always available by phone or email to answer all of our questions, which gave us so much peace of mind. We had a doubt about only having one photographer on the day of. Scott let us know that one photographer would be plenty. And he was right...it is good to know that this business looks out for their clients. We had not met our photographer until the day of our wedding, but our picture profile was matched with her photography style. We set up a call to discuss all the details of our wedding a week before and Dana was able to capture all of the moments we asked for (AND MORE). We are absolutely ecstatic about how our wedding pictures came out and cannot get enough of viewing them. Scott and Dana thank you so much for capturing the best moments of our special day.

This was a great company to work with. They were quick with response and answered all questions. Worked with them for our wedding on 8-18-18. My now husband and I worked with Jonathan and he was amazing. He got a lot of good shots it’s hard to pick our favorite. He also worked well with a three old who kept asking for Jonathan to take his picture and Jonathan didn’t mind. We only had one thing we would have clarified or asked which was when he took pictures of everyone at each table that we came along so we could be in the picture and to easily get to see everyone. Other than that we would recommend this company

My daughter got married in May at Old House Vineyards in Culpeper, VA. After reading many positives reviews, I decided to contact Life Gallery and made arrangements with Scott. He was very enthusiastic and organized. This being my first wedding to plan, he made it very easy. Jonathan was our photographer who was outstanding. My daughter and our whole family loved him. His positive attitude, professionalism and great sense of humor made our day. When we arrived at the farmhouse, he had everything set and ready. He already had photos of her gown and flowers completed. I have never seen such organization and comfortable flow of photos being taken. He made us all very comfortable and the time passed by quickly. We received our photos within two weeks and were absolutely gorgeous. Jonathan followed the photo preference outline my daughter submitted, and they had several conversations before the big day to ensure he got every shot they wanted. Jonathan went out of his way to ensure we were all included. During the reception, you did not even know he was there and the photos were phenomenal. Once you contact Scott at Life Gallery, you will look no further. I checked several other photographers before contacting them, and they win hands down. Good luck in your wedding plans. Their service will be your first and last stop, and you will be happy with their service.

We were happy with the quality of the photos and the fast turn around, however touch ups cost extra to the tune of 25$ per photo. After spending over $1300 one would expect that to be included. So basically for the price you get several hundred photos taken with the same background at least in our case, and the service of a photographer. Nothing else is included. I was very disappointed with the lack of changing of background areas. We were at historic site and it would have been nice to have some of the buildings in the photos but instead we were given photos in front of a green space. There was a Pond that could have been used as a really nice backdrop as there was a bridge there but that was not even entertained. Slightly disappointed. Just be sure to ask the right questions so you get what you’re looking for.

They did a fantastic job with our wedding, and the price was very reasonable. They had our photos ready 2 weeks after the wedding, the day we returned from our honeymoon! Pricing was upfront, split into 3 payments, and all of our photos were available for free to download, which our guests appreciated. Scott was easy to communicate with by email and was flexible when we decided to start earlier at the last minute, to make sure we had enough time for family portraits.

Working with Scott and his team was soo easy. The communication was seamless and they responded right away. We had Rhonda and Michelle as our photographers and they were great. What made it even better was that Rhonda had photographed at our venue multiple times so she knew all the great places for pictures which made it even better. She was also very chill and made us feel comfortable. She was also flexible with time and photo taking, which was just great and made getting those candid photos awesome. Everyone was easy to work with and I would highly recommend Life Gallery Photo and Video!

My husband and I had an AMAZING experience with Jonathan as our photographer for our wedding!!! He was such a joy to work with. I knew right away that I was going to get along with him, our personalities just meshed so well. He wasn't imposing in any way and he was patient when going through my "must have" list of family photos. He was so much fun to work with! And because of that it made taking the staged photos so much more fun! <3 Randy was our videographer for the day and he was a total sweetheart! He managed to stay almost invisible, which to me seems like what a good videographer should be...you don't want that camera all up in your face all night long, you want it to look genuine and real, and with his technique I'm fully confident it will be! Both were great! Being in contact with Scott throughout the whole process with effortless and he was very patient with all my questions and concerns that I had, and oh so very helpful with everything!! It took slightly over a week for us to get our photos back from Jonathan and we absolutely LOVE them! Can't wait for the video from Randy!! Definitely recommend them as a team for anyone looking for a photographer/videographer package for their wedding or event coming up!!! We were so happy and please with everything about them!!! <3

My wedding was on 27th Jan this year and Mike was our photographer . He is a true professional and many times we even did not feel his presence at the reception or ceremony but he was there taking pictures of us and the guests. My husband and I love candid photography and most of our pictures are like that and we love them. I just received my photos online so have a lot to do going through them and choose the right ones. I can not wait to publish them as an album to always look at them and remember those moments. He captured the most important moments of our life in a beautiful way. We had a great experience working with Scott and his team at Life Gallery Studio. We had Jonathan as our photographer and Joseph as our videographer and they were GREAT! We got our photos so quickly after our wedding and they have been so much fun to go through. We also just recently got our highlight video along with the extra raw footage and I think I have watched it about 100 times in 3 days. Very prompt with answering questions. We would definitely recommend!

Life Studio was a pleasure to work with for our wedding photos. Owner Scott was able to answer all of our questions and alleviate all our fears about what happens if our photographer just ends up not being able to make it (being a larger studio they have backups and even owner Scott will come out if necessary) Before we signed a contract, we had spoken with Mike who would be taking our photos on the day of the wedding. Mike was fantastic. He understood we were looking for more photo journalism style than posed photos – my husband and I understand we both take bad posed photos. Life Studio allows you to pay via credit card without incurring an additional fee. Mike arrived on time and worked with us as we moved throughout the day and to the different locations. He even braved the rain to get us outdoor newlywed photos getting quite wet himself. But I will say the photos are beautiful. I am so happy with everything – the before shots, the ceremony shots, the newlywed shots, and the reception shots. Just perfect. And he had no issue with my family and friends running around taking photos themselves. Scott worked with us after the wedding as it took about 2 weeks to edit all 927 photos and send us over the link to our portfolio. He was able to advise us on obtaining the photo copies digitally and answered all our questions about albums and prints. Overall our experience with Life Studio was simply perfect. We highly recommend them.

Dana was absolutely amazing on our wedding day. She made us feel so special and comfortable. She was early and so patient. I would highly recommend using this company. From the very beginning they were professional and made things so easy!

Perhaps this is silly, as we have not received our final photos yet - but we loved working with Dana and Michelle! Dana did our engagement photos, and they are gorgeous. Day of, she and Michelle were lovely, put together, and good at organizing folks - even though we had a grandma unexpectedly trying to tell them what to do! They were both a lot of fun to work with, had great photo ideas, and were happy to go with the flow. (my husband and I both had photos we'd forgotten to ask for, and a few we asked for that we realized we couldn't get - Dana and Michelle were both very understanding & accommodating!)

This company was easy to work with, and the photographers were wonderful... the pictures turned out beautifully for our June wedding. We had an initial consultation with Scott, who explained their process. Essentially, you get to look through tons of their photos online once you book with them, choose your favorites, and based on your favorites, they pick a photographer for you that matches your favorite style of photo. We got Mike for our main photographer and Michelle for our secondary... both were great! They took tons of pictures of both stationary items and decorations as well as wonderful action shots of guests dancing, etc. We just received our pictures, and got around 1600 pictures! They are of many different styles, with several black and white as well. We feel that everything we wanted to get pictures of, we have. They made sure to take the specific photos we requested. They were there when you wanted them and in the background when you didn't, which is great. Overall, great to work with, and I got my pictures within about 10 days, which is wonderful!

Couldn't have been happier!! Jonathan was the photographer for our wedding and he was incredible. I heard so many compliments from our guests about "our photographer:" Not only were the photos AMAZING but he was extremely helpful to me during our entire ceremony (start to finish). If I needed help with my veil, a quick stitch, a bobby pin, etc., Jonathan was the first one there to provide what I needed. He captured every picture we wanted. If I ever needed to hire a photographer again there's no doubt I would contact Life Gallery Studio and ask for Jonathan.

Life Gallery Studio was so great to work with. Scott responded to emails very quickly, was always kind when answering my 100 different questions, he gave us multiple different options and was very professional. We had Mike and Michelle as our photographers and they did amazing work! We received our pictures in a week and they are all so perfect. They had great ideas and captured so many more photos than I even thought possible. We also hired videographers through life gallery and they were kind and always in the background taking videos. We haven't gotten out video yet but I am very excited to see how it turned out. I have no doubt it'll be wonderful. The price was great as well, Scott worked with us and we got a great deal. Overall, my husband and I are very happy with our decision to hire Life Gallery Studio to capture our special day.

Michelle photographed my wedding in Frederick, MD last May. I'm late reviewing because we moved and changed jobs shortly after so it's been busy but with our anniversary coming up I'm going through our photos again and I had to take a moment to say not only how great the pictures came out but also how lovely and kind Michelle was to work with. We had a small wedding, outdoors - and it rained and it was fantastic anyway. She worked with my family and guests without any awkwardness and helped calm my weather nerves on top of it all. I found Life Gallery last year at a point when I had about given up on being able to afford a photographer at all and I could not be more pleased - their rates are within reach for couples on a budget like we were and they did a great job. I was able to customize my package to provide what was important to us (photos all night) and leave aside extras like an album that weren't in the cards at the time with an option to go back and buy one later. On top of all that I don't think it was even two weeks that went by before I had my pictures. Thank you son much, Michelle!

We were very happy with Life Gallery Studio for our wedding Photographer. Mike was our Photographer and we were a little nervous because we didn't get to meet him until the day of the wedding (because we didn't want to pay an extra $400 for an engagement shoot). However, it worked out great, as expected. Mike was great with the whole Bridal Party and setting everyone up. He had some great ideas for photos and was also willing to take our ideas on the fly. Our package included an Artisan Album which turned out amazing. The photographs were great and overall we were very satisfied. I am glad this is what I chose to splurge on and it was worth every penny!

We had Iryena as our wedding photographer, and she was AWESOME. A lot of fun to be around and took gorgeous photos for a reasonable price. We're so happy with the pictures!

This is a great studio. They are VERY responsive and were on time, took great photos, etc. I booked two photographers and no muss package - no engagement shoot, no prints, just the digital photos. I am very glad we booked with them and I'm certainly glad we got two photographers. One half star rating because one of the photographers had a bit of an invasive personality. However, I talked to the studio afterwards and they were EXTREMELY receptive and kind. In any case, she still took great photos which is all that matters.

Ronda was absolutely fantastic! She picked up on our personalities right away and played to our fun side so we could get amazing photos! I definitely recommend Life Gallery. They were so wonderful to work and communicate with leading up to the wedding and at the wedding Ronda was such a huge help that I'm not sure our day would have gone as smooth without her! Lastly, we received our photos in only 2 weeks and are very happy with them.

I was worried about finding something within our budget that was still quality work, and then I found Life Gallery Studio. We were impressed after our discussion with the owner and viewing the sample work and the price list. From what I gathered, they work as sort of a general contractor, hiring photographers as needed and then doing the processing and printing (if you purchase anything) in-house. We learned that we would have the digital and printing rights to all our shots, both from our engagement photo session (offered as part of our package) and the wedding itself, but we could purchase books or prints from them if we chose to do so. We were assigned Roxana as our photographer, and really liked her sample work. I was happy we were able to do the engagement shoot ahead of time to get to know her and see some of her work with us--we were very pleased with how those shots turned out and how she captured our personalities. She had a lot of great suggestions on the day of the wedding as well, and got so many interesting, artsy shots that I wouldn’t have thought of myself. She also did a great job capturing shots within the fairly rigid rules of wedding photography at our church during the ceremony itself. We love all the candid and pre-ceremony or reception shots. Our only negative point was that the formal family portraits taken at the church after the ceremony/before the reception were not lit particularly well, and turned out not quite as well as we would have liked. I’m hoping maybe we can correct this working with the studio on some retouching.

I would have to recommend life gallery studio, specifically Jonathan for anyone who's getting married in the future and is looking for some awesome candid photos. He also did a great job with the traditional wedding party family shots as well, making sure we got a photo with each family member in multiple options. Jonathan and his assisted were on top of everything, he really knew how a wedding ran and made me feel at ease even though I had a day of Cordinator. He really stepped up and made sure that the photos I needed to get taken got taken in the timeframe that I wanted. He also took the time to pull us aside when the sun was setting to get some amazing sunset photos that me and my husband would never even have thought to go outside to take and they are some of the best photos that we have, we are really happy that he recognize and opportunity and went with it. He worked so hard and it was so amazing to work with, especially since the day of the wedding was the first time shooting with him he made me and my husband feel so comfortable and we really have nothing but amazing things to say. No only was Jonathan amazing to work with but my photos were available to me after just two weeks and working with the studio was great!

Fantastic company, amazing photos! Their customer service is friendly and prompt. My fiancé and I spoke with Scott Michaels (one of the managers?) via phone and in person several times, and he was always pleasant, patient, informative and very helpful. Jonathan (our photographer) was friendly, enthusiastic, and did a wonderful job! He offered many suggestions for different photos and poses and was also open to any ideas we had as well. When we were unable to take wedding photos at the site we had originally planned, Jonathan was quick to offer several other suggestions for great photo sites in the area. He helped to make the wedding day relaxed and fun. Our photos turned out beautifully, and we received them (over 2000!) within 2 weeks after the wedding.

I cannot recommend Life Gallery Studio more. The photographer captured moments I never imagined possible. Your wedding day flies by so quickly and I got to relive it when my wedding proofs were available! A+! I cannot think of anything negative in regards to working with them, the photographer or the images!

Scott did our interview and based on our style and needs assigned Kawshiq as our photographer. Kawshiq photographed both our engagement and our wedding and he was AWESOME! He gets all the traditional shots that you need as well as all the artistic candid shots that you could want. I was worried because typically I don't think that I photograph well, but Kawshiq gives you simple easy to follow directions that will have you looking amazing in every picture. He got a ton of wonderful shot of us and our guest without feeling intrusive, and he did great with dealing with our families too. The photos were edited quickly and sent to us fast. I would recommend life gallery and Kawshiq to anyone!

I knew that a great photographer/ company was needed for my small wedding. My best friend choose Life Gallery for her 2014 wedding & I was so pleased by the way the pictures turned out. I was more impressed by the cost. We booked the company well in advanced for our June 2016, but we decided not to have a big wedding and go for a small wedding in July 2015. The company was flexible and we were able to keep the same photographer. The photographer arrived 15 mins early, which is always a plus. Our friends and family are still talking about how amazing the pictures turned out! If you want AMAZING pictures without killing your wedding budget go with this company.

Life Gallery was there for my engagement pictures and my wedding. My now husband is a bit camera shy but felt totally comfortable with Mike during our engagement shoot which helped him relax and enjoy posing for our wedding day pictures. Both the engagement and wedding pictures turned out better than I could have imagined! The pictures are timeless and classic. Mike worked throughout the night capturing every aspect so that we are now able to look back and really reminisce on our wedding night. Mike was a huge hit with parents, bridesmaids, and guests! He was encouraging and made everyone feel relaxed while he worked to snap our family photos in the very hot and humid MD weather. He worked with my coordinators and DJ to make sure he was in the right places at the right times to get the best shots. We had such a great experience with Life Gallery Studio. I strongly recommend using them. I worked with Scott, the owner of the studio, on all of the pricing and details to start with.He was wonderful - accommodating, helpful, provided great guidance. I was assigned Michael as our wedding photographer. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a fabulous event, fabulous pictures, and just was so perfect. They were the best vendor we had - above and beyond any other vendor. We were on a tight budget, so I had to make sure we didn't lose quality and in fact, our photos are beyond fabulous. I had several photographers friends referred me to. Their wedding pictures weren't half as good and those photographers were charging between $2,000 - $5,000 for 4 hours! I was blown away. Life Gallery Studio's price was totally perfect, service was amazing, the quality of our photos are spectacular and I hope we have a need to use their services for family photos down the road! 5 star, highly recommend!!

Life Gallery Studio was absolutely fantastic. My groom to be (now husband) and I were a bit salty after seeing the prices of other photographers in the area, so when we went to Life Gallery, we were expecting another budget breaker. Thank goodness we were wrong! From the initial consultation, to the process of picking the right photographer for us, to the wedding - I felt Scott and his crew actually cared. Our actual photographer, Jenny, couldn't have been better. I'm a bride who provided very little direction (I had no idea what type of photos I wanted, I just knew I didn't want us to spend hours on them), but Jenny knew exactly what to do and captured all the best moments. Even if you aren't a bride on a budget, I highly recommend Life Gallery Studio. The service they provide is the best any bride could ask for.

I love my wedding photos! They turned out great and it was a pleasure working with the Life Gallery Studio staff. They are really professional and easy to work with. My budget for wedding photos was on the lower end and the package they offered was perfect for what I was looking for. What they could have done better: 1. The photographer could have taken some more artsy photos, but I'm sure that's harder to do when most of the photos you get are unedited. 2. The photographer could have provided more ideas for poses. I like the direction he provided and just wish there was more of it. I highly recommend Life Gallery for those who: 1. Don't want to pay a huge amount for wedding photos 2. Want important photos taken and for them to look professional 3. Care about customer service and want to work with friendly and reliable staff

We had such a great time working with Mike. He was on time ( matter a fact he was early) He got a lot of great shots and was a joy to work with! Would hire him for any event in the future.

I was impressed with Life Gallery Studios. They were very professional and easy to work with, and they made an effort to tailor the photography to what we wanted via a questionnaire before the wedding. The photographer had a lot of great ideas and the pictures turned out fantastic! They also gave us full rights to the pictures as well as offering printing services. Thanks!
