Our wedding photos, engagement photos, etc. all turned out perfect. Moreover, he was a fun person to have around and wouldn't want anyone else taking our photos!

His humor, speed and professionalism made him the perfect photographer for me and my husband, who lord love him doesn’t always love his photo taken and gets a stoney smile. t be explained as my nerves and emotions runneth over. Unfortunately, Kristina had a difficult time understanding the family members. In the end I didn't have a photo with my children that didn't include my ex-husband. My daughter had photos taken off site and Kristina took a photo and show cased the photo to my daughter and son-in-law. Unfortunately, this photo wasn't included in the photos we received. Fortunately, Jiho located it for us when I went back to ask for it. Also, we have no photos of our guests at the reception. Apparently, this is something that has to be requested. I think Kristina would be fine as a portrait photographer, but definitely not for weddings.

From start to finish, Jiho was responsive, organized and extremely timely with communication. We had discussed ideas of what my husband and I wanted with our photos and when it came to the day of the wedding, I knew I could trust Jiho’s eye and just go with it- which was extremely refreshing after planning for months! He had a backup plan in case the weather didn’t cooperate and it was very reassuring. Our photos were ready in less than 6 weeks and they are BEAUTIFUL! Absolutely gorgeous. I was in tears looking through them because he was able to capture the day so perfectly. They are everything we wanted and we could not be happier!

He gave really helpful advice about how to structure the day for photos and also looked out for my budget advising me when it wasn’t worth spending more money on something. On the day of – Jiho was ON POINT. He was able to take a ton of pictures throughout the day super efficiently to make sure we got everything we wanted. We did getting ready photos and the first look at one location, and then took wedding party photos at 4 different locations throughout the Logan Square area before the wedding. We then took photos with different family and friend groups before and after the ceremony. He was able to direct a ton of people very quickly and keep the day moving. Above all else – his pictures were STUNNING. We talked a lot about the style I was looking for and they turned out exactly as I wanted. He was great at capturing subtle moments with my husband and I throughout the reception and ceremony, and he was really creative with the group photos. And he got the photos to us in 6 weeks! Our experience with Jiho was great from start to finish, highly recommend!

s until my wedding day. He was kind enough to travel to Massachusetts in the dead of winter, and he made everyone involved comfortable and provided a ton of laughs. He’s so skilled at what he does that you never worry about what he’s going to do or how he’s doing it. He joked around with our wedding party during photos and got a ton of wonderful pictures with genuine smiles and laughter from everyone. My husband and I commented after the wedding that neither one of us had any idea where he was during the ceremony - he was a total ninja! He got so many amazing candid shots of us and our loved ones, it’s going to be impossible not to order prints of every single picture. I’m not good at being serious, so most of the pictures of me are ridiculous and goofy, and they’re perfect. I don’t know how he knows where to be to get the perfect picture at the exact right moment, but he does. And it’s incredible. After he published a few teaser photos, people were swooning over the artistic genius of the photos’ composition. And then when he released them all to share with our guests, people couldn’t stop saying wonderful things about them - and even a month after our wedding, people are STILL texting me just to say they looked through the photos again and felt like they were reliving the day all over again. I will cherish these photos forever, and we can’t thank Jiho enough for the wonderful experience we all had with him. If you’re on the fence about whether or not to book him for your wedding, DON’T BE. Book him immediately and know that this is one aspect of your wedding day you won’t have to worry an ounce about.

We had our first look and wedding party pictures set for various outdoor locations prior to the ceremony, but in typical Chicago fashion there was unexpected rain and a dramatic temperature drop. No sweat. Jiho had various backup plans in place and did not let us worry for a second. We trusted him completely throughout the day and I'm glad we did. Our pictures came out AMAZING. and I met up with Stephanie at a Starbucks to see what we would expect from wedding photography. Of course, you always want the posed shots, but we also wanted pictures that captured the moment in real time. Stephanie and the owner of Lilly Photography (Jiho) answered back to my emails right away with any questions that I had. Stephanie and her assistant were amazing on the day of our wedding! We love all of our pictures! We had such a hard time picking out a photographer, but we definitely made the right decision. At first, I was going to pick a commercial photographer (Timothy Whaley, etc), and I’m so glad that we did not. I spent countless days comparing photographers and reading reviews. Wedding photos are timeless, and it is something that goes through the generation of families. We got married on June 9, 2018, and got our pictures back by June 24, 2018. Their are so many different pictures that we love. The pictures really tell the story of our wedding day and how happy we were the whole day. We decided to have our day photographed for 9.5 hours. I’m glad that we made the investment in Lilly Photography because the pictures were priceless!!!

From initial contact, Jiho was super responsive in following up and answering all of my questions. We met prior to our ceremony for portraits around the city, his relaxed personality helped ease all of our pre-wedding jitters. I gave Jiho a few places I wanted photographs taken, his amazing talent for spatial placement and working with light translated into more beautiful photographs than I ever could have imagined. I was not interested in hiring a videographer for my wedding (just my personal preference) and wanted to focus on photography. e had a lot of really good ideas of where to take photos which was a big help to me since I already had so much on my mind :) He sees opportunities that not many other photographers would see. This was totally our style. Our venue was Salvage One and we didn't have a super traditional wedding, and the photos match the look and theme of the day. He was really easy to work with and responded to emails very fast. He showed up an hour early for the day so we ended up with even more photos than expected! They definitely captured the whole day and got a lot of later dancing pics before they left for the night. To top it off, we had our photos ready a month after our wedding! r to meet with my parents and me, and my dad and I truly loved his work. We dabble in photography for fun and thought Jiho was not only a talented photography, but also an incredible artist. He took our engagement photos in Sept. 2015, and we couldn't have been happier. He took our wedding photos, on Sept. 4, 2016. When we received them, I was expecting some nice photos, but EVERY photo is beautiful! There isn't a bad photo of anyone: bride, groom, families, wedding party, friends, etc. We hired Jiho and an assistant to come, and we met Kathleen on Sept. 4, who is also extraordinarily talented. Jiho has a fair price for his work, which we also loved. After seeing wedding photos from other friends and family (of their weddings), I know my parents and I made the right decision in choosing Lilly photography. Jiho and Kathleen captured so many beautiful and memorable moments throughout the day and evening, including some that my husband and I don't remember at all (wedding day was a blur!). Jiho and Kathleen were also very respectful of my rabbi's wishes to not use flash photography during the ceremony and stayed in the aisles to get photos. I was concerned about this, but the ceremony photos turned out to be beautiful! I also don't remember seeing Kathleen or Jiho often at all during the reception, and neither did my husband or my parents, which was great! The hardest part has been choosing which photos I want in a wedding album, which is not the worst problem to have! Thank you so, so much to Jiho and Kathleen for everything!

We love every single wedding photo that they took--each one is more artistic and beautiful than the next!
