Everyone dreams of their wedding day and hopes their photos will attempt to capture the significance and vibe of the day. Jiho KNOCKED that out of the park. When I look through my photos the candids, the editing, the action shots are just incredible. Every important moment, laugh, and look is in the album he delivered. His humor, speed and professionalism made him the perfect photographer for me and my husband, who lord love him doesn’t always love his photo taken and gets a stoney smile. Our engagement shoot was equally amazing. I cannot wait to continue to work with him for all life’s important moments.

Jiho was the BEST!! He was our wedding photographer and I can't say enough about him. Our wedding photos are better than I could have dreamed of. He captured everything so nicely, I love the detail photos, he nailed the complex family photos we had, he was personally such an easy person to work and I couldn't recommend him more.

This is not a reflection on Jiho, rather, Kristina was our photographer. My only daughter was married in September and I am divorced from her father. This momentous occasion can't be explained as my nerves and emotions runneth over. Unfortunately, Kristina had a difficult time understanding the family members. In the end I didn't have a photo with my children that didn't include my ex-husband. My daughter had photos taken off site and Kristina took a photo and show cased the photo to my daughter and son-in-law. Unfortunately, this photo wasn't included in the photos we received. Fortunately, Jiho located it for us when I went back to ask for it. Also, we have no photos of our guests at the reception. Apparently, this is something that has to be requested. I think Kristina would be fine as a portrait photographer, but definitely not for weddings.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Lilly Photography- who filmed our November wedding at Lacuna Lofts. Jiho was recommended to me by my cousins and we could not be happier! From start to finish, Jiho was responsive, organized and extremely timely with communication. We had discussed ideas of what my husband and I wanted with our photos and when it came to the day of the wedding, I knew I could trust Jiho’s eye and just go with it- which was extremely refreshing after planning for months! He had a backup plan in case the weather didn’t cooperate and it was very reassuring. Our photos were ready in less than 6 weeks and they are BEAUTIFUL! Absolutely gorgeous. I was in tears looking through them because he was able to capture the day so perfectly. They are everything we wanted and we could not be happier!

My fiance and I were thrilled to book Jiho and Lilly Photographer for our Engagement Photos. We had moved away from Chicago but were back in town for a friends wedding and knew we wanted shots of us in our favorite city and Jiho would beautifully capture us in it! We both were nervous about a shoot, about where to go and how to pose, but Jiho takes the time to get to know us as a couple and made us feel relaxed which made for a fun evening session exploring Chicago! The results are amazing and we now have a magnificent selection of shots to cherish! Thank you Jiho!

I worked with Jiho for my wedding at Greenhouse Loft in Chicago on 11/2/19. Everything with Jiho was great from start to finish. A co-worker who loved her wedding photos recommended him to me. From my initial email on, Jiho was always responsive and provided very thoughtful answers to questions throughout the process. He gave really helpful advice about how to structure the day for photos and also looked out for my budget advising me when it wasn’t worth spending more money on something. On the day of – Jiho was ON POINT. He was able to take a ton of pictures throughout the day super efficiently to make sure we got everything we wanted. We did getting ready photos and the first look at one location, and then took wedding party photos at 4 different locations throughout the Logan Square area before the wedding. We then took photos with different family and friend groups before and after the ceremony. He was able to direct a ton of people very quickly and keep the day moving. Above all else – his pictures were STUNNING. We talked a lot about the style I was looking for and they turned out exactly as I wanted. He was great at capturing subtle moments with my husband and I throughout the reception and ceremony, and he was really creative with the group photos. And he got the photos to us in 6 weeks! Our experience with Jiho was great from start to finish, highly recommend!

From our first meeting, Jiho was friendly, accommodating, thoughtful, and opinionated. He offered his opinion as an expert while also accepting any ideas that we requested. He struck a balance that we didn't receive from any other vendor. Shortly put, Jiho is a professional. BUT IT GETS BETTER - Jiho is also an incredible artist. As we looked through our photos (which he turned around in less than 6 weeks!!), we couldn't pick a favorite. Every. Photo. Was. Amazing. Stop looking for photographers and hire this man (and his team - Ryan was a superstar). Check photographer off your list and worry about something else.

We had our engagement session with Jiho, (the owner). We had a great experience with him and our photos came out BEAUTIFUL! Jiho's ability to capture each shot was flawless. His talent and ability to create beautiful shots out of different angles, poses, was phenomenal. Our session took place when the sun was still out so it was tricky getting the right shots but he nailed it! Jiho was easy to work with and I love that we got right down to business from the first shot to the last. Our session with him and the two hour time we had was utilized and maximized to the fullest extent. I highly recommend Lilly Photography for any occasion!

My husband and I were married on May 25th. We received our photos yesterday from Lilly Photography, and we could not be happier! Although Jiho was already booked on our wedding day, he was very responsive and easy to communicate with. He made us feel confident in booking his team members. Jiho is absolutely AMAZING!! Choosing a great photographer to capture our wedding day was very important to my husband and I since these photos will last a lifetime. Jiho was better than we could have ever imagined. He is very talented and has a great eye for capturing the best shots. Him and Ryan were our photographers on our wedding day and they were both extremely organized and were able to capture all of the important shots that we wanted and more. It’s hard to know where to start with Jiho Park. Full disclosure, he’s been a friend of mine for years, but I never had the opportunity to work with him and his photography business until my wedding day. He was kind enough to travel to Massachusetts in the dead of winter, and he made everyone involved comfortable and provided a ton of laughs. He’s so skilled at what he does that you never worry about what he’s going to do or how he’s doing it. He joked around with our wedding party during photos and got a ton of wonderful pictures with genuine smiles and laughter from everyone. My husband and I commented after the wedding that neither one of us had any idea where he was during the ceremony - he was a total ninja! He got so many amazing candid shots of us and our loved ones, it’s going to be impossible not to order prints of every single picture. I’m not good at being serious, so most of the pictures of me are ridiculous and goofy, and they’re perfect. I don’t know how he knows where to be to get the perfect picture at the exact right moment, but he does. And it’s incredible. After he published a few teaser photos, people were swooning over the artistic genius of the photos’ composition. And then when he released them all to share with our guests, people couldn’t stop saying wonderful things about them - and even a month after our wedding, people are STILL texting me just to say they looked through the photos again and felt like they were reliving the day all over again. I will cherish these photos forever, and we can’t thank Jiho enough for the wonderful experience we all had with him. If you’re on the fence about whether or not to book him for your wedding, DON’T BE. Book him immediately and know that this is one aspect of your wedding day you won’t have to worry an ounce about.

My husband and I got married in December 2018 and we made the best choice in choosing Jiho as our photographer at Lilly photography! My husband and I were introduced to Lilly Photography after friends of ours worked with Jiho on their engagement pictures and wedding day. My husband and I got married September 15, 2018. Photography was one of our top priorities. Picking LILLY photography was one of our best decisions during the wedding planning process. We worked with Jiho and couldn't be happier. Communication from the day of booking to the day of the event was great. He made sure he knew what we wanted and executed the day perfectly. Our pictures are beautiful, classic, timeless, in the moment, and more. It’s important that we found a photographer that really cared about her job and it showed! My future husband and I met up with Stephanie at a Starbucks to see what we would expect from wedding photography. Of course, you always want the posed shots, but we also wanted pictures that captured the moment in real time. Stephanie and the owner of Lilly Photography (Jiho) answered back to my emails right away with any questions that I had. Stephanie and her assistant were amazing on the day of our wedding! I cannot thank Jiho enough for his amazing work! Jiho photographed one of my best friend’s weddings beautifully, as soon as I got engaged I knew I wanted to secure him as my photographer. He’s also taken family photos for my cousins and other friends so I had firsthand experience to his quality of work. From initial contact, Jiho was super responsive in following up and answering all of my questions. We met prior to our ceremony for portraits around the city, his relaxed personality helped ease all of our pre-wedding jitters. I gave Jiho a few places I wanted photographs taken, his amazing talent for spatial placement and working with light translated into more beautiful photographs than I ever could have imagined. I was not interested in hiring a videographer for my wedding (just my personal preference) and wanted to focus on photography. Lilly Photography and Jiho are amazing!! As soon as we had our initial phone call, I knew he was the right photographer for our wedding. He is so knowledgeable and gave great advice for the day, before we had even booked him. I then learned that he had photographed another family friend's wedding and they raved about his work. Jiho did not disappoint- he has an eye for pictures and scenery that others do not. His pictures are professional and artistic, but do not turn out cheesy (as wedding photos can often be). One thing we loved about Jiho was his ability to control the situation, but not take it over- he blends himself in and just does his thing. And the outcome is beautiful wedding photos that we will cherish forever. In just the few days since we have had our pictures back, we have continued to get compliments on how beautiful they are. He responded 5 minutes after I sent my inquiry and gave great suggestions of dates and times for our engagement session. My fiance and I loved how he would make the most of out of the place and situation. He is very creative and has an eye for details. The pictures turned out amazing!

I was just recently married this past summer and we had Jiho as our photographer with one of his staff as the second photographer. I believe her name was Krista. Jiho is amazing! He had a lot of really good ideas of where to take photos which was a big help to me since I already had so much on my mind :) He sees opportunities that not many other photographers would see. This was totally our style. Our venue was Salvage One and we didn't have a super traditional wedding, and the photos match the look and theme of the day. He was really easy to work with and responded to emails very fast. He showed up an hour early for the day so we ended up with even more photos than expected! They definitely captured the whole day and got a lot of later dancing pics before they left for the night. To top it off, we had our photos ready a month after our wedding! Highly recommend Lilly Photography!!!

Jiho made my wedding day effortless. I hadn't realized how essential the photographer is to the organization and flow of the big day until I met Jiho and his team. They took care of me so well that I felt like I just floated through the day. Jiho accomplishes this because he has the perfect personality for this job--he calmly and subtly keeps things on track, but he is relaxed and SO creative at the same time. He worked with my plans while making little tweaks and giving me professional advice in a non-judgemental way. I was so happy that he was there on my big day. The photos are wonderful. I love how creative Jiho of Lilly Photography is because he managed to make our wedding photos so beautiful even though my husband and I aren't good smiling in front of the camera. WOW WOW WOW!!!!! We could not be more impressed by Jiho's photography skills! He and the second photographer, Krista, are true artists. I am someone who tends to have high expectations, to a fault, yet somehow Jiho and Krista went above and beyond my wildest dreams. The only tough part about hiring a photographer this good is choosing between all the unbelievably fantastic photos ;) But seriously, if you let Jiho have creative control, he will not disappoint! We used Lilly Photography for our wedding and couldn't be happier! We chose Missy and she was amazing to work with. A few days before the wedding we went over the timeline and stuck to it the day of the wedding. Jiho is incredible! From the very beginning, we were met with the utmost professionalism. Our inquiries were always answered same-day, which was so appreciated. Regarding our wedding photos, they completely blew us away. Jiho has such a creative eye and amazing attention to detail. When looking for a photographer we wanted someone that was very creative. We wanted our engagement and wedding photos to be unique, and that they were. Jiho is the absolute BEST! My pictures are so unbelievably stunning, I can't even believe it. I will truly treasure them for the rest of my lifetime. We decided to cut out a videographer to save on costs, and with Jiho's amazing photo-journalist style, you won't need the video. Jiho is kind, brilliant, talented, and will work with anyone and everyone. I was referred to Lilly Photography by my co-worker in July 2015. Jiho was incredibly responsive and eager to meet with my parents and me, and my dad and I truly loved his work. We dabble in photography for fun and thought Jiho was not only a talented photography, but also an incredible artist. He took our engagement photos in Sept. 2015, and we couldn't have been happier. He took our wedding photos, on Sept. 4, 2016. When we received them, I was expecting some nice photos, but EVERY photo is beautiful! There isn't a bad photo of anyone: bride, groom, families, wedding party, friends, etc. We hired Jiho and an assistant to come, and we met Kathleen on Sept. 4, who is also extraordinarily talented. Jiho has a fair price for his work, which we also loved. After seeing wedding photos from other friends and family (of their weddings), I know my parents and I made the right decision in choosing Lilly photography. Jiho and Kathleen captured so many beautiful and memorable moments throughout the day and evening, including some that my husband and I don't remember at all (wedding day was a blur!). Jiho and Kathleen were also very respectful of my rabbi's wishes to not use flash photography during the ceremony and stayed in the aisles to get photos. I was concerned about this, but the ceremony photos turned out to be beautiful! I also don't remember seeing Kathleen or Jiho often at all during the reception, and neither did my husband or my parents, which was great! The hardest part has been choosing which photos I want in a wedding album, which is not the worst problem to have! Thank you so, so much to Jiho and Kathleen for everything!

Jiho and his second photographer, Krista, did a phenomenal job photographing our wedding! Jiho is an incredibly talented photographer--we were so lucky to be able to work with him! We love every single wedding photo that they took--each one is more artistic and beautiful than the next! Since we planned our Chicago wedding out of state we ended up not meeting Jiho in person until the wedding day (we did, however, have several check-in phone calls leading up to the big day), but this was not an issue at all--we highly recommend Lilly Photography for any couples planning their wedding out of state, too. Besides the high quality professionalism that we got from Lilly Photography throughout this wedding process, the quality of our wedding pictures were unreal! Our wedding was May 14th 2016 and we booked Lilly photography for our wedding around Jan/Feb 2015 right after we got engaged! It was the best and easiest decision we made- after seeing some of their work we knew we wanted to have Jiho as our photographer. After speaking with him on the phone initiatilly it only confirmed our decision. He is so so friendly and fun to be around! I was referred to Jiho of Lilly Photography by a friend who is a photographer in a different state. I asked her for recommendations, and she told me she follows his work and loves his style. After looking at a few of his galleries online, I knew his style would be a great match for what we were looking for. I met Jiho shortly after, and he has a great personality to go along with his talent. I was very impressed with him. The costs were out of our budget, but I can't stress enough how important it is to have an approachable, talented photographer. Many larger companies aren't like this. We had our engagement pictures done a year before our wedding, and it gave us a great opportunity to meet Jiho and experience his style. On our wedding, Jiho was just as amazing. He always made me feel comfortable and he has the best ideas. Our venue wouldn't allow us to take pictures on site, so he found a different spot nearby (an old German farm) which actually worked out so much better. The pictures we received are unlike anything I've seen before. We were more and more impressed with each picture we received! Choosing Lilly Photography was the best decision we made. After I saw his work, I was so please to find out he could shoot our wedding. While we loved all of the photos he took (he has an eye to see the perfect angle, background, lighting), what most impressed me was his desire to persist with excellence till the end of the day. When we were in the reception, dancing and eating, I figured we were all done with photos. Soon though he came and asked if we could get away for a moment to capture some photos outside. He could have very easily ended the night when the dancing started (which was completely what I assumed he'd do, and was fine with that), but instead, he persisted till the end, not wanting to waste a moment that wasn't capturable through the lense. His communication via e-mail and phone were solid throughout the past year we worked with him, and his technical skills and artistic talents were completely beyond our greatest expectations! During the engagement session, we went from initially feeling awkward in front of the camera to wishing that we had more hours to spend pretending that we were professional models. Words simply can not express how happy we are with our engagement and wedding photos. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and was captured beautifully. Jiho is amazing! I am blown away by how beautiful our engagement and wedding pictures turned out. Neither of us are super comfortable taking pictures or being the center of attention, but it was a breeze with the Jiho. He was efficient and so easy to work with. The creative angle was there but he also made sure to listen to the pictures that we wanted, it made a great mix of fun posed shots and a ton of awesome candids. Our wedding day was super easy and fun, and the photos capture everyone's personality. So happy we went to Lilly Photography.

We loved working with Jiho and Stephanie. They captured our day perfectly. Through out the day they used their creativity and made us feel comfortable. It was below zero temperatures and not once did they complain about the cold - they were real troopers willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were left with perfect pictures. We loved the teaser pictures they posted on facebook and were impressed with the quick turn around - they delivered our gallery of pictures before we were even back from our honeymoon! Before choosing Lilly Photography, I did my research and knew I didn't want the typical wedding poses. A friend of a friend was in a wedding that Jiho photographed. It was a night time shot with the couple sitting in a tree and it literally took my breath away. I knew I wanted something similar. I wanted photographs that would show an artistic eye and someone who could do original work. My husband and I met Jiho at a local restaurant where we talked and customized a package that fit our budget. After discussing, we went home and talked about our budget some more. Lilly Photography was expensive compared to other photographers but I reminded my husband of the quality and unique photos we would receive. We figured we saved money on other parts of our wedding that we were able to "go all out" and book Jiho for our wedding photography. A year later, in late April, we met Jiho and had our engagement photos taken at Navy Pier and Olive Park in Chicago. My husband and I dressed for a warm, spring session but when we arrived to the city, we realized it was much colder! We had some beach photos taken (the wind off the the lake had to be in the 30s). We were all under dressed and it was freezing. Jiho was such a trooper! We had some troubles trying to get the sun to shine when we wanted it, but Jiho improvised, got the shots and he suggested moving to a different location. We then ended up in the Gardens at Millennium Park and the Bean. Jiho ended up spending an extra two hours with us at two-hour engagement session. Once we received our photos - they were breathtaking and simply amazing! Minus the red noses from the cold, the pictures he captured made us appear warm and happy. 7 months later, it was our wedding day. Jiho and his assistant (Elena) were awesome! To say the least, their photo ideas were very creative. Jiho is definitely an artist. We received our wedding photos in record timing (4 weeks before originally contracted to send them). The photos we received were something like you would find in a magazine. He really captured our goofiness, happiness and love in every photo. I am simply overjoyed with everything and I hope to use Jiho in the future. Amazing work!!! You could not go wrong in choosing Jiho to be your wedding photographer!

I first contacted Lilly Photography and they were expensive. We ended up meeting with another photographer and wasn't too impressed. I got my now husband to agree to meet with Lilly Photography and I knew after our meeting we were going to hire them. Our engagement and wedding photos are just stunning and beautiful!!( I completely agree with what you pay for is what you get and I couldn't be more happy) I highly recommend Lilly Photography.

I can’t take credit for finding Jiho Park & Lilly Photography. That was my wife. However, I’m the one that did the initial interviews with all of our possible vendors for our wedding. When we set up our meeting, Jiho drove out to a local restaurant near my work. The fact that right away he was willing to go the extra mile was impressive to me. I found that most vendors were a little thrown off meeting with the groom only, however but I liked that interaction. I met with four photographers before we made our decision. Jiho & my meeting went a little over two hours, not one other photographer made it to an hour with me. There was one profound statement I remember from that meeting that he said: “I’m looking to be a friend through this process. I don’t want to feel like an outsider at your wedding but that you want me to be there.” That type of personal attention really stood out with me, and I walked away from that meeting believing him. I should have canceled the other three meeting on the spot. Our Engagement Shoot was on a cold October Thursday. We were to meet in the afternoon outside of Wrigley Field. Low & behold, Jiho was there 15 minutes early, freezing just like we were. This was a terribly cold day for “causal clothes” but Jiho not once rushed us through the process. We were cold, so we can only imagine so was Jiho. However not once did he show it, complain, or make us feel like he didn’t want to be there. There were some very light flurries and it was extremely overcast. Sounds like awful weather for romantic photos but Jiho was so excited about the light, and after seeing the five preview shots on Facebook a few days later I could see why! He has such an amazing eye for light and juxtaposition. The second part of our shoot was downtown by Michigan Ave. and the Chicago River. He would throw out some ideas and we would run to a location. His energy really pulled us through this process. If I shared an idea with him he would go with it, but if he felt strongly that it wasn’t something worthwhile, he made that clear. I really appreciated his honesty and not wasting our time with something that we wouldn’t want. One of the sights I REALLY wanted was Lauren and I standing on the median of Michigan Ave facing North during rush hour. Jiho immediately understood the shot we wanted. We wanted the traffic and the crazy scene of Chicago but for a moment our love at a standstill. We stood in the middle of Michigan Ave for almost 20 minutes. The shot wasn’t there with cars stopped; we need traffic and cars blazing by. We were over our time at this point and I was getting worried. Jiho wasn’t and was so patient to get this shot. And when we finally saw that shot a few weeks later – it made the whole day worth it! Lauren and I love photography and once we finally got to go through the photos; it was more than clear we made the perfect choice! The emotions and love of that day are right there in print and couldn’t be any more perfect. I’ve had a few friends get engaged since we got married and I’ve recommended Lilly Photography to each one of them. We’re happy to saw that least one of our friends in fact went with Lilly as their photographer upon our recommendation! Every one of our friends and family have just loved the photos so do we. Jiho & Lilly Photography (& Missy) made all of these wonderful memories possible and we will always be grateful to them for their professionalism, abilities,and wonderful eyes to create such magnificent art!

Where to begin!? Although I had spent probably hours on their website admiring other peoples’ photos and knew all along that they were the best, we were absolutely blown-away by our wedding photos. We have looked though them many, many times already - there is so much to see in each one. Jiho and Stephanie really captured all the special moments and emotions of the day and our photos will be so much fun to look back at for the rest of our lives. Jiho was such a reliable vendor, so professional, but lots of fun to work with along the way. I have never had so much confidence going with the flow when someone says, “go stand in that dark alley, put your chin down a little more, or climb on top of that fallen tree or old shed.” :) It is obvious that they love what they do, and it’s so much fun working with them. Although we spent more to have them capture our special day than we could have going with a more local photographer in our small town, I am beyond satisfied with our choice and every penny was well-spent. I would recommend them to anyone without any hesitation.

I cannot even begin to put into words how thankful we are that Jiho was part of our wedding day. We had a very unique wedding - a 6 hour Cambodian Ceremony - and Jiho jumped right in! From our first meeting, he asked all the right questions, was incredibly responsive to all emails and phone calls, and made us feel so comfortable. He was clear and precise about pricing, the time line, and what we should expect. Boy did he deliver! The day of the event he arrived ready to shoot. He was so kind to our families, friends, and all of our guests. He was there at all of the important moments and even the funny side moments. We were so excited to see our pictures and we got them so quickly! Every shot, from the fist to the last, were incredible. He captured our wedding day better than I ever would have imagined. It's so fun looking back at all the big moments - and even better - the little moments. Jiho was the best decision that we have made for our wedding day hands down!
