Karen did the florals and design for our 10/27/2023 and she completely took my vision and made it come to life! I can't stop thinking about the gorgeous florals. It's nearly impossible for me to find the right words to thank Karen for her help with our 4/21 wedding. The flowers were absolutely breathtaking, and the head table looked straight out of a magazine. The seating assignment table looked better than I could have imagined, the bouquets were STUNNING and the archway we got married in front of was picture-perfect. It's like she was able to get inside my head and take all of my dreams and execute them better than I could have imagined. Not only did she blow away my visual expectations, but she personally and professionally blew them away as well. With the adjustments we had to make within the 5 days leading up to the wedding, she managed to stay calm, cool, and collected, which made a HUGE difference in the stress and anxiety I was feeling. Karen's calm demeanor truly changed my entire attitude toward the situation and allowed me to re-shift my feelings back into ones of excitement and happiness. Her positive energy is contagious. Lily Greenthumb’s was AMAZING! Our wedding planner had recommended Karen to us and we couldn’t have been happier! My daughter’s wedding had a “garden party” vibe. Lots of beautiful spring flowers and colors. My daughter’s bouquet was exquisite. Neither my daughter nor I know much about flowers so we let Karen guide us and boy she did not disappoint. Ladies. Karen at Lily Greenthumbs is amazing. As a florist she needs 10 stars. She will take your reference photos and make a bouquet even more gorgeous. She asks questions you didn’t even know you needed answers to. She guides you every step of the way. The most amazing thing she does is make you feel like you were able to have a hand in every step. Karen from Lily Greenthumbs is amazing! Her work is recommended by so many other vendors, including our wonderful wedding planner, for a good reason. We didn’t have specific flowers in mind necessarily, but a general vibe, colors, and inspo pictures that we shared with Karen for her to go off of. She did a wonderful job with all our florals, our gorgeous geometric arch, bouquets, boutonnieres, and a very special floral dog collar for our pup! She was also flexible when we asked to add a few floral arrangements for our Vietnamese tea ceremony! Definitely recommend!

Omg Karen absolutely killed it for our wedding!!! She was such a delight to work with and nailed the exact look we wanted! She was also great at guiding us when there was a shortage of tulips (there’s a flower shortage people!) and even worked hard to track some down for us. Karen is the absolute best!!! She did both mine and my sister’s weddings- and nailed all of the details both times. I would absolutely recommend Karen and her team to anyone getting married in the area! She is the most knowledgeable and helpful florist out there. For some aspects (flowers in the chandelier and on our boxwood wall), she was able to work with us on budget and chose flowers that were beautiful and fit in our requested price range. I knew I had to have Karen as my wedding florist after I came across the Lily Greenthumbs website - talk about dreamy, elegant designs. After our first conversation, I knew I had chosen the right team. Covid regulations required all communications to be virtual, but Karen was so sweet and responsive and I never felt like my vision was being compromised because we weren't able to meet in person. I even had a last minute change of heart and wanted to add a few more installations, and Karen was more than accomodating. When I say that I was blown away when I finally got to see everything come together on my wedding day, I mean, I was at a total loss for words. Soft, dreamy, romantic, classic, she captured it all. Karen and her team did an incredible job!!! I am so thankful we hired Lily Greenthumb's from the very start as they were one of the best and most important wedding day vendors! The first time we met Karen, I knew I loved her sweet personality and style! She also understood my vision I was going for at the time, which was classic with a modern twist in a formal church and club setting. Due to the pandemic, we had to reschedule three times and Karen was very flexible and understanding during this time which was greatly appreciated. By the third time rescheduling for the wedding, we totally changed the entire wedding and moved everything outside to a new venue due to the current rules and regulations. Karen mastered a complete style overhaul just two weeks before the wedding going from a Classic Modern look to a perfect timeless Southern Garden wedding! Karen is extremely talented with florals and the entire design. She knows how to understand a clients' vision and use her skills to create a unique experience for everyone to match their specific style!! Karen did a phenomenal job and made it look like a true fairytale!! It was honestly even better than I ever could have ever imagined!!! Karen and her team did such a great job for our wedding! She took care of all our florals, as well as the tabletop lighting and floor lanterns. We had a small wedding (~23 people) but a massive space, and Karen did a great job helping us think through how to create an intimate but dramatic vibe. She was super flexible as our plans changed because of the pandemic, and she also was transparent about pricing (including how to get the most out of our budget). Our wedding florals were even more beautiful than I could've imagined - she managed to pull off our vision of an "ethereal/whimsical but formal al fresco feast" (bless), and I was so impressed with how everything turned out.

Our florals were BEAUTIFUL for our micro-wedding day! I had an idea of what I wanted and Karen took it and made it perfect. Very easy to work with, only took a few phone conversations, very responsive to emails, and always helped that she sent pictures to go along with whatever flower she was talking about. My husband and I hired Lily Greenthumbs for our Oct. 2019 wedding after a slew of meetings with other florists. We were married in Winston-Salem, NC and we talked to multiple local florists before expanding our search to Charlotte. During our first meeting with Kristin I was blown away by her professionalism. She got my vision from the beginning and offered suggestions that took our floral design to the next level. Throughout the entire process, Kristin was a dream to work with. She communicated with my wedding planner for all of the logistical items, making my life that much easier and letting my wedding planner do her job! My number one must have for my wedding was real flowers. My fiance wanted to make sure we found the best of the best and we did when we found Lily Greenthumbs. There is a reason they design the floral arrangements for the Carolina Panthers, but don't worry -- no matter how big or small your request is, you are treated like you are the Carolina Panthers when you are a client at Lily Greenthumbs. We absolutely loved our experience and felt it was top of the line customer service and product quality. The owner Karen delivered our bouquets herself and made sure everything for our ceremony and reception was set up and prepared ahead of schedule. Karen and her team did an outstanding job with the flowers and décor at our wedding! The weather was a little iffy on the day of the wedding and they made all the right decisions to ensure the arrangements looked their absolute best for the ceremony and reception. Karen brought up my bouquet and the bridesmaid arrangements to the bridal suite and they were all so beautiful! She even made flower wands for the flower girls as a last-minute request and they looked amazing! The flowers and décor for the ceremony were incredible. When we did the room reveal at the reception, the entire room took our breath away. The floral arrangements combined with the candle light all looked incredible and we were speechless! Karen and her team made our flower dreams come true. If you're wondering what I mean? I literally gave her an image off Pinterest and she created the custom ceiling installation for our big day. People could not stop raving about how wonderful the flowers looked. Karen is fabulous at what she does but, most of all, she cares a whole lot about her brides. We had an excellent experience with Lily Greenthumb's! Although I had trouble articulating what I wanted for the flowers at my wedding, Karen worked with what I gave her (purple/white; lots of roses) and made seriously gorgeous bouquets. She also helped me with smaller details such as picking a ribbon color to wrap the stems, and helping me figure out who needed a corsage or boutonniere. The table centerpieces were especially impressive. Would recommend!
