My wife and I hosted our wedding at Little Hills and it was a really great experience for us — and for our guests. From the venue tour all the way up through the wedding day, the Little Hills staff were clear and friendly when communicating, took time to listen and get to know us and what we wanted out of our wedding, and just generally very easy to work with. Little Hills Events can be quite flexible based on what you want, ranging from having food, beverage, and a lot of decorations available in-house to allowing outside vendors or BYO. The venue itself is beautiful, with multiple options for ceremony sites and a nice reception area that is tented but still feels fresh and part of the natural environment. Our wedding was in late May and the weather was lovely, with the hills still green and super pleasant temperatures. Overall we are so happy with our wedding and couldn’t imagine it being anywhere else!
We were the first wedding at this venue (May 2021) after the Covid shutdown. We are SO GRATEFUL to Angie and her team here for helping us put together our dream wedding! The venue is entirely outdoors so it felt totally safe. Angie was so professional and accommodating, bringing our vision to reality. The ceremony space in Wildcat Canyon is gorgeous, the food was delicious, and Angie coordinated with all our vendors to make sure everything went off without a hitch. Highly recommend this venue!!
I took one look at the Ranch at Little Hills and immediately knew it was where I wanted to get married. My husband and I are outdoor lovers and the Ranch provided the perfect, beautiful, tranquil atmosphere that we wanted for our big day. Despite living all the way in Washington State, planning the wedding was so easy thanks to the help of our amazing and brilliant coordinator Gillian! She made sure we had every detail thought out and she was so accommodating to all of our needs. She even helped us to make a last-minute traditional Korean wedding ceremony possible at the venue the day before our wedding. Our whole wedding weekend was so magical and went exactly how my husband and I wanted it to, if not even better. We are so happy we were able to make such sweet memories at this place!
It was the perfect place to have the outdoor ceremony that I wanted. It's a beautiful setting and Lauren, the wedding day coordinator was great to work with and everything went according to the way I specified. It was a magical night and it was the perfect setting!
We had our wedding here in June, and people are still telling me how wonderful it was. The Ranch helps a lot and, although a bit more costly than some venues, you can't beat the fact that you get some privacy and nobody is tanning 50 feet from your ceremony. They do get very busy, so you do need to go over details multiple times, especially if you want changes, but they're always helpful. Overall, we all had a great time and even my friend is now considering getting married here.
We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Ranch at Little Hills it was everything we could've asked for! Vanessa, the coordinator, was amazing and met with us multiple times before the big day to make sure everything went smoothly.
The venue grounds are huge (and gorgeous!) and there are a ton of areas for great pictures :) There is a small bridal room that was perfect to hold our stuff and put some last minute touches on. The ONLY downside was the room didn't have A/C and we happened to get married on one of the hottest days of the year so far!
Vanessa and her staff set everything up exactly how I pictured it and were incredibly attentive all day. They helped keep us on schedule without making us feel rushed all day. Vanessa and her staff were absolutely amazing!
The food was great - we had salmon and steak, brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes and 2 salads...yum!
Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better venue or staff to help with our wedding!
We just got married here on 10/20/12 and we loved everything about it. The outdoorsy feel was perfect, and we had hanging lights and candles everywhere. The food was fantastic, Vanessa the coordinator was so helpful and accommodating, and it was the exact wedding we had hoped for.
We originally wanted a small, backyard wedding, but since the small part couldn't happen, the backyard part was out of the question. The Ranch at Little Hills created the ambiance we originally wanted, while accommodating our larger party.
If you love nature, and the beauty it creates, then this is the wedding venue for you! We highly suggest night time receptions, because there is no replacement for dancing the night away under the stars!
My husband and I recently had our September wedding at The Ranch at Little Hills. It was a perfect venue for our moderate-sized, low-key, outdoor wedding! The staff were supportive and very accommodating, making our wedding day stress-free and incredibly fun!
PROS:
- Outdoor venue with ceremony site and tented reception patio all in one place. The staff did a great job setting up our centerpieces and directing our florist, baker, and DJ, so that everything was set up as we'd imagined it.
- On-site chef with tasty menu options. (Of note, we were actually worried about food quality prior to our wedding because the spring bridal faire included food that was not from their usual crew. When it came to our wedding day, the steak and salmon were both perfectly prepared and all of the appetizers and sides were great!).
- They provide a wedding coordinator, which was invaluable for planning, set-up, and for keeping us on track that night. We literally did not have to worry about any logistics once we arrived for the wedding.
CONS: There are some limitations in terms of timing for set-up and rehearsal, but they are very up front with you about this from the start. This is a venue that holds a wide range of events in addition to weddings -- summer camps, picnics, corporate team building events, etc. Despite being very busy, they are helpful and accommodating so your wedding can be set up the way you like. Your reservation technically includes a set-up time starting at 4:30PM before the wedding (for a Saturday reservation). I was concerned about this initially and no one had commented in these online forums to explain how they managed to set up a wedding in one hour. Let me assure you, there are many solutions: coming earlier in the week before to set up lighting, signs, etc; pre-assembling centerpieces and providing clear instructions for the staff, keeping it simple. The staff is very helpful (and realistic), and will work with you to make sure your wedding is beautiful. If you want them to help with some of the heavier decorating, you can always choose to pay their (very reasonable) set-up fee.
If you want an outdoor wedding at a reasonable cost, The Ranch at Little Hills is the place to have it! This place is beautiful and has a fun atmosphere. The staff were so friendly and helpful leading up to the wedding and especially on the day of the wedding. Vanessa, the wedding coordinator, is absolutely FANTASTIC! I could not have had someone more organized and willing to help. Also, the food offered is delicious! I would do it all over again right here!
