t us a couple resort options based on our requirements (budget, location, all-inclusive, no kids, etc.). We chose Secrets Papagayo in Costa Rica and Renee got us connected with resort staff, got our guests all booked, helped us set up our wedding site and maintained great communications with EVERYONE. Renee sends all kinds of info about travel (Amstar, what to pack, what to expect, etc.). We love Renee-- please work with her and keep her paid because she deserves it. Resort was great. Wedding team at Secrets are great (especially Nati the onsite wedding coordinator, DJ Sergio, and Sarah and her partners on the DreamArt Photography team). The preferred lounge staff are all lovely- checking in n’ such were such a breeze and we love William, the bartender. PLEASE be sure to do a trial with the spa team. The woman who did my hair did a lovely job and my hair mostly stayed in place despite me headbanging and sweating. Makeup was rough. The artist is such a sweet woman and she worked with gentle hands. Unfortunately, I was extremely unhappy with it (it looked nothing like the picture-- wrong colors, placement, etc) and ended up re-doing my makeup 20 min before i was supposed to get pictures taken. Decor was adorable and met my expectations. Food was a little hit or miss -- I would recommend going for a set menu rather than the wedding buffet if that is a viable option for you and your guests. Our guests seemed to have a great time, excluding the uncommon torrential storm we experienced, but that’s on climate change. Amstar was a little confusing, but that was due to some name processing errors. Overall transfers to and from the airport were easy and we had a smooth time travelling since the LIR airport isn’t huge or insanely busy. Overall, my husband and I are very happy with how our special day turned out and we are honored that we were able to work with so many great people to make our wedding so lovely.

A little recap: my first experience working with Tanisha was actually as a guest, when my cousin hired her through Liz Moore Destination Weddings for her daughter’s sweet sixteen. That trip was so fantastic that I remember telling myself, “If I ever need a travel agent, I’m contacting Tanisha.” Fast forward a year—I got engaged, we decided on a destination wedding, and the very first person who came to mind was Tanisha. From the start, she was incredibly responsive to all our questions and concerns. She helped us find the perfect resort for our budget and family needs. Our group wasn’t easy to manage due to language barriers, but Tanisha connected with everyone—even using Spanish to communicate when needed. I know it wasn’t always easy and that plenty of issues popped up along the way, but she handled everything so well. She kept me calm, helped me feel more relaxed, and stopped me from losing my mind (lol). Throughout the process, Tanisha assisted with every travel concern, stayed highly organized, and paid attention to every detail—which is exactly why I chose her. She even supported me during the wedding planning itself, offering tips and suggestions that made a big difference. Working with Liz Moore Destination Weddings as a whole was also a pleasure. Every department handled things smoothly—from collecting deposits to processing the final payment to coordinating our arrival at the hotel. The entire team was organized, efficient, and professional, making the entire experience stress-free. We’re so grateful to have worked with her and to have shared so many fun moments together. t 4 to 5 weeks before our travel dates—she pulled everything together beautifully and made our dream come true. Aruba was pure magic. The Boardwalk Boutique Hotel was stunning, peaceful, beautiful, and perfect for celebrating such a special milestone. Tarrian encouraged us to step outside the typical all-inclusive experience and instead explore the island, and I’m so glad we listened. We spent every evening out, soaking in the beauty, culture, and amazing food Aruba has to offer. What touched us most was how effortlessly Tarrian took all the stress off our shoulders. She handled every detail with care and intention, allowing us to simply be present and enjoy our trip. We trusted her completely, and she delivered far beyond what we imagined. Without a doubt, we’ll continue to trust Tarrian with all of our future adventures. She’s truly a gift. What a wonderful experience!

From the moment we started working together, Courtney took all the pressure off. She helped us choose the perfect venue—Riu Palace in Cabo San Lucas—which was ideal for our diverse group of guests: teenagers, singles, couples, and seniors. Her experience and insight were invaluable. Courtney gently steered me away from the stress of room blocking and instead encouraged a more flexible approach where guests could book however they preferred. We created a simple brochure with all the trip details, and whoever could make it, came. No pressure on them—and more importantly, no pressure on me. She also gave fantastic advice on airport transfers and sent out thoughtful emails in the weeks leading up to the trip with packing tips, excursion ideas, and check-in info. I always felt supported, and I knew if anything came up, Courtney had our back. The trip was amazing. The resort was perfect. No complaints. And now I’m already sending Courtney ideas for our next family adventure. If you think travel specialists are just for weddings and honeymoons, think again. Courtney showed me how a true expert with excellent communication can elevate any travel experience. Courtney, thank you for helping me be present with my family instead of buried in logistics. You gave me the gift of enjoying the moment—and that’s priceless.

Their extensive industry knowledge was invaluable, especially when considering venues outside of the country that we wouldn't visit until the wedding day. We fully trusted their recommendations and were never worried that the resort or wedding wouldn't work out. Once we chose our resort, they helped us connect with our wedding coordinator, plan our travel, and organize travel for our guests. We received so many compliments from our guests about how smooth and well-organized everything was! Additionally, their advice for our "mini-moon" was spot-on, and we were thrilled with the location and resort. They clearly have a relationship with the resort, as every questions/concern I had, Suzanne made sure got addressed (which can be very difficult due to busy wedding departments!). We even had a guest that didn't book through Suzanne, call her the day before his flight for emergency help (he had booked his flight to Punta Cana, instead of Cancun!) and she quickly got him pointed in the right direction! We felt Suzanne went above & beyond the whole way through. I would highly recommend using Suzanne & Liz Moore Destination Weddings!
