consultant I would be working with would really listen to what it was I was looking for in a wedding gown. She went above and beyond to think of dresses that I may like so I knew I was leaving there with "the one". I was even encouraged to try on my top 3 dresses multiple times until I was sure I had exactly what I wanted. I never once felt overwhelmed by all the options and could not recommend working with them enough!

whites are bad on me. Katie showed me a version of a Justin Alexander dress I really liked on an iPad and said I could get it in white. I questioned her when she showed me the website because it said “ivory”. I asked if she was sure. She said some designers don’t use “white” but this was THIS designer’s white. I only agreed to the sale because she assured me it would be white when I asked for a third time. The sale was misrepresented by Katie. Entire appointment I was stressing that I wanted white, it was not a passing comment. I questioned the whole thing at my pick up appointment with a very young consultant who was sweeping and mopping. I told her it wasn’t white. She said it was dark out and the light was making it look darker. To contact someone the next day. Emailed Dower about everything. Doing due diligence, I consulted a wedding planner and a wedding consultant to get their professional experience and not just have an emotional reaction. Both said the shop should work with me to resolve this in some way: both mentioned a full refund or store credit for another dress). I also went to another shop that sells JAlexander and shopped without disclosing anything about my situation. I explained that I wanted white and they said at this time JAlexander dress didn’t have white options, but the spring collection is coming out with new options. When I asked about white options the manager said if I really wanted white I needed to go with another designer right now and showed me a dress in Diamond white. She said the trend is ivory, but you can still get a white dress. Dower emailed me and said we didn’t need to talk: “Because of this [referencing a March wedding], the only realistic and reliable path forward is to move ahead with the gown you currently have. It is a beautiful dress, and once properly fitted and styled, many brides find that the overall look comes together in a way that feels far more bridal than fabric color alone might suggest. I truly wish there were an alternative solution that could be offered without placing you under further stress or risk so close to your wedding day. My goal at this point is to support you in moving forward confidently and peacefully with the dress you have, rather than encouraging a last-minute change that could create additional anxiety or uncertainty.” According to Dower, she called me to discuss the situation but a call did not come through on my cell. I wrote back again to request a call. I insisted we speak since she didn’t have the correct information and she agreed to a call after sending the dismissive email.
Call Thur, Dec 18 2:41pm duration 40mins Dower did not know any facts about my account or timeline: She said my wedding was March so there was not time to fix this She said I had the dress “for more than 2 months” since I picked it up in Oct. I picked up the dress on Nov3 and emailed her about the issue on Nov4. Dower told me on the call at two separate times “We don’t even sell white dresses” and “we don’t have white by any designer”. When I said I wanted white I should have been turned away and not tried on anything if the shop does not sell anything white. Did further research after: designers featured on shop’s website come in white, diamond white, and, new dresses from JAlexander in off-white.

Both my mother and my mother in law got their Mother of the Bride and Groom dresses there and also had experiences similar to myself in terms of selection of dresses and working with the staff. ved. I got 2 hours for my dress hunt, a private area and I was able to bring all my people with me. From the start of me looking into inspo for my dress, I knew I wanted a dress with sleeves. My stylist was amazing in showing me dresses with and without sleeves. The dress I fell in love with was sleeveless but my stylist mentioned their seamstress can make me sleeves from extra material. The sleeves turned out perfect! It was exactly what I wanted and the seamstress was able to make them detachable which came to be even more amazing on my day of. I highly recommend as every one was always so nice, communication was clear and the selection of dresses was awesome. While they were all beautiful, I wasn’t feeling wowed. She offered to pick something for me to try on that was a different style than things I had chosen, and that wound up being my say yes to the dress moment! Keep an open mind if you don’t love what you thought you would, they’re there to offer their expertise. The entire process of timelines for ordering a dress and alterations was explained very well to me. Myself and my guests also really enjoyed what a big deal they made about finding my dress. Taking our pictures celebrating was so much fun! I am so excited to wear this gorgeous gown on my special day!!

Both my mom and I had our alterations done here and we were very happy with the result. Dorris did a great job showing my mom how to bustle my dress. I recommend purchasing the princess package which includes week of steaming, extra storage and preservation (among other things). Everyone here is so welcoming and goes the extra mile to make a bride feel special!

la’s because of the wide variety and price range of dresses. They had many dresses that I was very interested in trying. We traveled an hour and a half to get to Stella’s, and it was definitely worth it! My mom was the one who arranged the appointment. She said every one she spoke with was very easy to work with and responded to any messages very quickly! Upon arrival, we were welcomed by Grace and Angie. They had our private bridal suite set up with different pictures my mom had sent in, a charcuterie board, sparkling cider, and a custom playlist with many of my favorite songs. I was also given a gift box full of little treats from different local shops! I had a wonderful time working with Grace and Angie. They did an amazing job at selecting dresses for me based on my preferences, and I felt extremely comfortable with them. Not once did I feel rushed or unheard. They made sure that I was ready before moving on and that my thoughts and opinions were the first to be shared. I am so thankful for Grace and Angie! They made this experience absolutely magical! This appointment truly made me feel like a beautiful bride. I ended up saying yes to the dress to a dress from the Stella collection, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice!

I scheduled a seamstress appointment ...
a month in advance, took off work, and had someone available to go with me. Stellas had to reschedule my appointment, resulting in me attending the appointment by myself. This appointment consisted of one seamstress fresh out of school and a seasoned seamstress. I would’ve thought that two professionals would be even better than one, but that was not the case. There were no recommendations from the seamstress or knowledge of altering shared with me. Everything was “up to me” and there was no clear picture of how my $2,000 gown would fit after these alterations. My dress has a lot of embroidery and beading and when they went to bustle, it was all extending from my butt. It was lumpy and extremely unflattering. When I shared my concern, they stated that it would look much better once it was made.
I came back for my follow-up appointment with my sister and bridesmaid who were just as appalled by the now created bustle. My sister described it as “cheap and poorly made.” Both seamstresses blamed the dress fabric and stated this was our only option. My sister, with no alteration experience, provided suggestions. The seamstresses followed her guidelines and a more visually appealing bustle was created.
At my third appointment, the bustle was made and we now had to address the fir at the top of my gown. They stitched in the bust to reduce the gaping appearance. However, the straps and top of the bust still did not lay flat on my chest. The seamstress took the dress in back to add more stitching. My dress came back with the material bunched, appearing worse than before, leaving me in tears. We then asked her to undo the stitching. After over $600 of alterations, their solution was for me to buy double sided tape to tape the dress to my chest.
Throughout the rescheduling and three appointments, there were no apologies. About 15-20 minutes into our reception, the bustle loops ripped off my dress, leaving two large holes. Not only did we have to guide the seamstresses through every step of this process, but their alterations did not even last. I am extremely upset with my experience and do not intend to refer or use Stella’s for alterations.

In a little less than 2 hours and 15ish dresses, I found my DREAM DRESS. We were able to sip on champagne and really enjoy our time at this appointment. Truly an unforgettable day with my family finding my wedding dress. We all cried, including Grace. To be honest, I was pretty nervous going into my bridal appointment because I am pretty indecisive and a "people-pleaser" so I was a little apprehensive that I would be pushed one way or another but Karen was just a dream!! She also took some creativity with the dresses she pulled, having me try ones I know I wouldn’t have tried normally. I’m glad she did it though because that’s how I found my perfect dress and below my budget!
When it was time to get the dress tailored, their seamstress was top notch, taking great care to get my measurements right, especially with hemming as I’m a very short girl and easily trip on long dresses. Trust their advice on when to get the dress tailored as they know their workload and how long the turnaround is. My wedding was in January so they told me to get it altered in December with a turnaround later that month. There was even plenty of time to adjust things if needed too.
I highly recommend shopping here for your wedding dress. Even if you don’t know what you’re looking for, they do.

vision in mind, Grace pulled out one last gown with our permission to step a little over our price range. This gown was stunning, but lacked the neckline I desperately wanted. Grace truly went above and beyond, and we merged two dresses into one, creating my dream dress. The gown was a Casablanca, so we chose the custom measurement option, which really paid off in the long run in regard to alterations. The dress came in sooner than expected and was absolutely perfect when I tried it on. Each fitting from there was seamless. I couldn't have asked for better service when choosing a once in a lifetime dress!

alterations were not completed nor were they correct. I waited over 2 hours there and was charged more than my original ticket said. I eventually called back inquiring about the price difference. I was lied to and given a round about answer as to why it was suddenly over $400. During one fitting, it took someone 15 minutes to find my dress and she kept coming out to ask the other lady where it was. My groom also got his tuxes there. They messed up on many of the measurements. They did not instruct anyone on how to return them either. After my groom dropped all of the tuxes off after the wedding, they claimed one was missing. A lady was heard on the phone saying they had the right tux but the other lady said different. The young girl working when my groom dropped them off did not give one instruction other than to leave them on the bench near the dressing rooms. The heels I bought from them, also broke during my reception! The lack of communication between employees ends up hurting the customer. I have never had the displeasure of working with a vendor who would lie to save face due to mistakes made by their employees. They are unorganized and quite frankly caused more stress than what was needed during the planning of my wedding. I will never spend any money there again.

My first dress appointment , my dress was waiting for me. No alterations or enhancements were done. My assistant was unaware of it.

The day of the appointment I get a call asking if they could push back my appointment from 5:30pm to 7pm because my consultant had an errand to run. Needing a dress, I said that's fine. So I drive an hour to get there, and when I get there my consultant who was supposed to be helping me, was busy with other people. So I drove 2 hours in total to end up getting no help, and told that I need to figure out what I want before I can go dress shopping again. Even though they've long since moved, I had to find these women to do my alterations. I didn't want anyone else. We took the gown to their current location in Westminster and it was like no time had passed. The ladies there were so wonderful to me even though I wasn't shopping, just having my dress taken in and hemmed here and there. I highly recommend them and hope that one day I'll be able to take future daughter there to shop for dresses.

Once she knew what my issue was she went to work to get the perfect dress created from Casa Blanca Bridal and within a few short days I had a drawing and the price of my custom made dress that was exactly what I wanted!!
