ou are fabricating some stories. We are taking the time to respond all these lies only because I cannot allow for you or anyone to make up stories. We considered not even responding since it gave us a laugh how people could just turn things totally around. We are now going to give our version of what exactly took place. 1st. I have never or will ever viciously say you have to leave. The real story was that I explained that we close @ 5PM and that the person that closes the venue when I leave she has to leave @ no later than 5:30. I do not make those rules or regulation but if you all would have commenced at 5 as we made an exception and explained to the bride that the latest is 4:30 but I can only do a 5PM rehearsal if they understand that @ 5:30 everyone must leave. When I explained that to the bride she said and I quote "no problem Ada we will be done within 30 minutes" Now I am the rude one to you because I explained that they were telling me I had to tell you all that the time was exceeded. Come on lets be honest when telling a story. If I were wrong, I would admit it but if I am not wrong then I am going to correct you. Ohhh one more thing. The rehearsal guide that I sent the bride clearly states that over the allotted time requires a payment of $120.00. On that note I explain, the bride knew that wasn't allowed because the latest would have been 4:30 and she asked me to please do it @ 5PM. I guess it's better to make up stories than to thank us for staying extra time that we didn't have to. 2nd. You weren't around when the Bride and I had a meeting with the catering company. In front of me the bride agreed to pay for the removal of trash. I looked her in the face and said are you sure? cause normally the catering company takes it. She said yes I agree. So come the end of the night the owner of the catering kept calling me and saying that they agreed with bride and that his staff cannot take the trash. The bride at the end of the night would not admit to that. I do not make decisions on who gets charged or not. The credit card request was something that management told me to do. I believe that they mentioned they were law enforcement officers so it should be someting they would obviously understand. Their are rules and regulations everywhere and without them there would be caos. 3rd. The removal of chairs was previously agreed by the bride. I trusted her word and didnt ask her to sign an agreement. I never even though I couldnt or shoulntd trust her word. That was my error but I now learned. Any agreement they have with the manager I will draft an agreement and have both parties sign. 4th I have never seen Hugo the manager wearing ragged jeans and I dont see anything wrong with a polo shirt. I guess you just decided to add a little more stories. 5th Let me tell you how things go when it comes to using an outside catering service. This company built a specific area just for them cause Mr. Beltran does not want to have anyone use the inhouse kitchen. I have seen outside catering companies have the worst areas designated for them but this outside catering company had a very comfortable area with allll they needed. Not to mention that the catering company, client and I go over the do's and donts ahead of time and they all understood. Obviously, all that was forgotten but guess what. We have a signed agreement. 6th I am of Cuban decent and if you did not know we arent racist at all. We have all kinds of shades of white, brown, black etc....... Please do not use the racist card on me. What is right is right and what is wrong is wrong and that has nooothing to do with color. I do believe the addition was mostly because when it rained the guest would have no place to refuge. Some people loved it and some did not but once again I do not make those decision. I did not offer an apology like you mentioned because I was doing what management told me to do. I am an employee of this company. About the garbage, that was something the bride agreed on with the catering company but you know what, I hope one day she admits that she agreed to something and changed her mind at the end. , we feel the need to clarify some things. About the altar, the one that was there before was damaged by clients in a prior wedding. We went ahead and replaced it with a new one that was a lot more costly and unfortunately we couldn’t find another the same. Now about the extra charge you said, we never ever told you or anyone that we were charging to change your date during the Pandemic. Matter of fact we allowed everyone to postpone with no penalty fees at all. Also, during the shut down we were not having any weddings. Most of the staff were working from home with the exception of the maintenance. We understand that you don’t really like the style but that isn’t everyones opinion. We have many other clients which understood that the changes were for the better. For example, in case of rain we are able to shelter all the guest as they view the seating chart in order to know where their assigned table are. Those of them who aren’t happy with the barrels in cocktail, we have accommodated them with covers and or even removing during their wedding. We have not made any changes in the venue what we did was roof the entrance of the reception hall, so that the clients would get wet in case of rain. The reception hall is exactly the same, the suites, the restrooms, the cocktail area and the ceremony area has benches now and with this COVID-19 issue the guest feel a lot more comfortable with spacing. Entrance gate is not a barn door it is an electrical gate. Lastly, we want to reiterate that the venue style was not changed, your opinion differs from many other and we respected it and for that reason we refunded as you asked for. Unique Palms Venue

t one single truth to your review. I have text & emails to prove how untruthful you are being. I spend weeks requesting the items I needed from. You kept telling me that some haven’t confirmed. I even have the text where you sent me your list of guest as a text picture in your handwriting. The day before your wedding. The coordinator should have final count, seating list and what each one is eating a month before. Ok lets say worst case scenario one to two weeks before. But you sent it the day before. Mind you, you booked this wedding more than a year ago. Anyone else would actually be grateful that I still made it work for you. I sat on the phone with your maid of honor because you did not send me a list of who is eating what. Was I supposed to guess?? That was pretty much a favor to you. Otherwise it would have been a disaster. Although I requested all that information numerous amount of times you DID NOT send it to me at all. On another note, I had a staff member come to me and explain that she almost threw out an envelope that was mixed with the trash. She noticed it had $100 dollars in it. As protocol calls, the server tells me and I take it to the bride. Just as I did. however, your story is different than mine. The good thing is that, the manager was present and the staff member that found the envelope. That being said, they also all agreed that you are not being truthful being that the way you said things aren’t how it happened. I did not mess up your special day. You did., I hope some day you realize that all of us here went beyond to assist you since you had no structure and were completely unorganized.
