We had our wedding cake consultation at our tasting, and I honestly was hesitant to tell Renata my grand idea of having a 10-tier wedding cake that would basically be the centerpiece of our reception. She was automatically receptive and confident that it would be possible to physically transport and have that size of a wedding cake displayed. Throughout my crazy year of wedding planning, I was a pretty controlling bride who was probably too detail-oriented. Having Renata take care of our cake was so easy to do, and I felt so comfortable and knew that she would be a dependable vendor for us. I researched many wedding cake vendors, and Lovely Cakes was absolutely perfect for us. Our cake was a stracciatella and natural red velvet cake with Oreo buttercream and semi-sweet chocolate ganache fillings, frosted with vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream and covered with fondant. Not only were the presentation of the cake and the logistics of hiring our cake vendor made easy because of Renata, but the cake itself was a huge hit- in regards to the taste and flavors. We had ordered an anniversary cake from her to be frozen for the year until our first anniversary. We loved our cake so much that we finished the anniversary cake within weeks of our wedding. My now husband's birthday was the Friday of our wedding weekend, so I ordered a surprise groom's cake/birthday cake for him. I wanted it to look like Met Life Stadium and Renata KILLED It! Everyone was raving about it. She also did our cake for our big day on Saturday and it was stunning; she brought my vision to life and we were so happy with how it turned out. Beyond the aesthetics, the cakes are seriously out of this world delicious. All of our friends who are engaged asked for her contact information. We also had people asking us if there was any leftover the next day! 10/10 recommend working with Renata for any type of event- we will be using her for years to come!
