I actually found Luna and her team from The Knot, and I was beyond happy with the end product! Laura is a joy to work with. She and her team are open to any and all ideas and feedback. My bridesmaids and mom looked absolutely stunning. I was super happy with my hair and makeup, and she was great at communicating with me along the way about any changes that I wanted to be made. 10/10 recommend working with Luna Beauty and Bridal!

Laura was fantastic to work with! She was patient, kind, and very communicative. As someone who doesn’t wear a lot of makeup often, Laura was able to give advice and make me feel comfortable in planning what my day of look would be. The day of I felt like an absolute princess! Laura and her team did amazing in making myself and my bridal party feel individually beautiful. I will forever be grateful to Laura for being such a big part of my day.

If you are thinking of booking Laura and her team, DO IT. I’ve worked with her and her team three times, from our engagement pictures, elopement day and wedding day and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Each time I felt beautiful and I know I made the right choice with going with Luna Beauty and Bridal. Her and Destiny did an amazing job - all my bridesmaids and mother loved their hair and makeup (my mom is a little picky with getting her makeup done too so this speaks volumes ha). The makeup and hair lasted through the evening and they give you a touch up kit just in case if needed. From the trial to wedding day they both paid attention to detail and made sure we had my dream hair and makeup for the big day perfect. Laura and Destiny were both so kind and easy to talk to, the best hype women you need for your wedding day or any special occasion. I had 10 bridesmaids, 2 mothers, and myself on my wedding day and Laura and her team were SO prompt, kept on schedule all day, and not only that, but every single one of my girls absolutely LOVED their hair and makeup! Luna and her team were one of the best choices I made for my wedding. I initially reached out to another artist who worked a wedding I was in last year, but she was booked and referred Luna Beauty as an alternative. And I am so very happy she did! Luna was quick to respond and even offered to have a call with me to discuss what I was looking for. After that phone call I was 100% sure I had found the right person solely based on her kindness and compassion. She is so kind, welcoming, open to feedback and of course, extremely talented (go peep her IG and you’ll see). During my trial and on the day of my wedding, I felt so at ease about the process. I loved the way my hair and makeup came out - and even better, it stayed through the entire ceremony and reception (there was a lot of dancing) without a single touch up. Luna was an incredible makeup artist/hair stylist for my wedding; I would highly recommend her and her team. I asked for a look that felt like an enhanced version of myself. She was incredibly welcoming, receptive and collaborative—something I really valued and trusted. She worked with me through multiple trials to make sure I truly felt beautiful and like myself for my wedding day. Plus, she's just so fun and nice to be with!

We hired Luna Beauty to do hair and makeup for my daughter’s wedding. They had 3 artists and did hair and makeup for 6 of us at the wedding venue. Laura is very sweet, talented, conscientious, and punctual. All three artists were there early and completed everything early. Laura made sure we were completely happy with each service that was provided. All of the girls felt beautiful and looked amazing.

My whole bridal party has curly hair and varying skin shades so it was really important to me to work with a company that had more than one person of color in their photo gallery. Micaela and Vanessa were amazing! The trial was easy and well done and everyone loved how their makeup + hair turned out and how open the artists were to requests!

Finding a hair and make up team was one thing that took me the longest to do knowing how important it was to feel confident on our big day. Luna really took the time to get to know what I was looking for during my trial and was very patient and helpful. (I was looking for a simple, clean, and peachy look) Not knowing too much about make up, I trusted her opinion and direction and I LOVED how it turned out. My make up looked exactly the way I wanted it during my trail and my wedding day, and stayed on all night. My hair is pretty finicky about staying curled, especially in the heat, and it held up too. Apart from that she is very professional, arrived and finished on time, and took extra good care of my mom as well. I would recommend her to any of my friends!

Laura and her team were AMAZING! They were all set up and ready to go when we got to our venue to get ready, and helped make the day run so smoothly. I absolutely loved how my hair and makeup was for my wedding, and Laura made me feel so comfortable making sure I loved every little detail. Definitely recommend a bridal trial as what you think you want normally isn’t what you love. You don’t want that stress on wedding day. Process was made super easy and you are checked in on between steps to make sure you love your hair and makeup. You also get a bridal touch up get with the exact lip shade so you can reapply before photos and reception!

Such a great experience! The whole team was amazing and really listened to what my bridesmaids, mother, and I wanted for both hair and makeup. Everything went smoothly and everyone looked gorgeous! Dream Team of hair and make up artist. I had the pleasure having my hair and makeup styled for multiple events during my wedding week. Two people you have the most conversations with day of your wedding is your HMUA and photographer and I’m glad I had Luna Beauty and Bridal. They were all so funny and great conversationalist. I felt really relaxed morning of knowing the professionalism this team brought. They were timely, knew the best products for all the different skin and hair types. Our make up lasted us all through the night. If I have any event in Austin I will book again.

Luna was amazing - I booked her bridal package and 8 additional service for my friends, mom and mother-in-law. She made me feel so comfortable, was super communicative throughout the trial and wedding day and so flexible with my questions and tweaks. One of us ran late the morning of her appointment and Luna was so sweet about it and made up all the time in our schedule so that we were on track too! Everyone ADORED their makeup and hair - I feel so lucky we chose Luna!

Luna Beauty was such an amazing team to work with. Destiny was my hair/make up artist and she was the absolutely the most professional, and talented person I have ever had to work with. She showed up early to set up for not only myself but for 7 bridesmaids. They listened to each of my girl's needs and exceeded our expectations. They made me look the best version of myself and I felt so beautiful the entire day. My hair and makeup lasted the entire night!

Literally the most amazing experience ever!! If I could give her a million stars I would! Not only is she a magician who brings out your own beauty she is a genuinely amazing person who makes the experience that much better! Her team was also great! The confidence she gave me on my wedding day is truly priceless. Make up is a personal thing and we have all seen the horror stories where people get their makeup done and come out looking like a person they don’t want to be. Because of this a few people in my bridal party opted out of having their makeup done and each one of them regretted it after seeing how amazing everyone looked. Laura was my favorite vendor and I plan on getting my makeup done in the future just because of how amazing she made me feel inside in out! Thank you!!!

Laura and her team were amazing to work with! When I started the search for this process, the first thing I noticed is how diverse her clientele is. That is rare to see in Austin and as a woman of color, I wanted to make sure someone could work on my coarse hair and darker skin. Laura was PERFECT. The trial went as expected and my engagement pictures were beautiful. The wedding was similar. My bridesmaids were also very happy and many of them are very picky with their makeup! My hair and makeup lasted the entire night event with a ton of dancing and sweating. Highly recommend Laura and her team. They were professional and communicative throughout the entire process.

I had the pleasure of having her team do my make up when I was a bridesmaid and they did an awesome job, so when I got engaged I knew I wanted to use her team for my wedding. Luna Beauty did my bridal hair and make up - love the test run getting the ability to try a couple of styles before ultimately making my decision. My day of makeup and hair lasted all day: My wedding went from 1pm-11! My mother in law even made a comment about how her hair lasted all day and she was super impressed. Laura and her team are THE best. I had 11 beautiful bridesmaids and her team highlighted the best of every single woman. Each person was truly the most glamorous and beautiful version of themselves. Laura and her team (Brianna and Destiny) were absolutely incredible! They arrived early and finished us early, which was perfect because we were already on a tight schedule. Brianna and Destiny did a beautiful job on my girls hair and makeup. They were all dying to know what makeup products Destiny used, everybody looked absolutely flawless! Two of the girls have very thick, long, textured hair that easily frizzes. However Brianna created STUNNING looks on both of them, one including an intricate braid. Laura completed my hair and makeup as well as my Mom and mother-in-law. From trial to wedding day, Laura was so professional, she listened to my vision, and not only delivered; but exceeded my expectations. Not to mention her energy was everything I needed on my wedding day - so warm and calming! As far as the finished product goes, my mom kept saying she’s never felt more beautiful. My makeup lasted well into our after party and my hair stayed flawless all evening. I had such a hard time deciding which hairstyle would go best with my dress, however Laura was so patient with me and never tried to sway me one way or the other. If I had to do it all over again I would trust Laura and her team every time! She’s extremely responsive, punctual, extremely talented and just a gem of a human being.

Laura and her team are absolutely amazing! My wedding was October 15th and I had Miranda and Vanessa do my bridesmaids and my hair! Everyone was beautiful! They know how to recreate any inspiration photo! The trial for my hair went perfectly as well. I definitely recommend Laura and her team for your hair needs! They are also super sweet!

Laura is truly amazing at what she does. My hair and makeup trial day was great, but on my wedding day she blew me away! My hair and makeup was exactly what I pictured and asked for. She and her team were also a calming presence in the face of a hectic at-home wedding with lots of bridesmaids and MOB/MOG. They did about 12 hair/makeups, and she and her team took adapted to every situation and took it in stride. Thank you Laura!! Would hire again in 2 seconds!

Luna is the the greatest! I hired her over a year out and her communication was always timely and helpful. I had a large bridal party with 8 bridesmaids and four others with HMU services and Laura + team ROCKED them all!! All of my girls were extremely happy with their hair and makeup. One girl did't love her hair, but Laura made sure to make extra time to fix it and that girl was very happy once a few minor adjustments were made. As I bride, I could not have asked for more. She nailed the look I was going for and her style of makeup STAYS ON. Our wedding day was HOT and through all the sweat and the sun, my makeup was flawless all day long. I knew from the moment I viewed the Luna Beauty and Bridal website and saw that Laura is a small business owner that I would book her, and she did not disappoint. She guided me and fellow members of my bridal party who typically don't wear a lot of makeup with care and professional advice developed over her years of experience. We all looked and felt amazing and comfortable at the wedding, and everyone was so excited to take pictures!! I hated to take off my trial hair/makeup and especially loved seeing how stunning my day-of look appeared. I am just now getting around to post a review for this magnificent lady, but better late than never because she deserves it. Laura was an absolute gem. She was so personable and really wanted to make you as happy as she could with her services. I had a trial beforehand and we had a conversation like we were old friends. It felt so comfortable! I had a different hair style for my wedding than I did for my trial and she was totally okay with it. The morning of my wedding, everything went perfectly. The other artists were just as amazing and everyone looked as beautiful as I imagined. I would recommend her to anyone getting married. :)

Highly highly highly recommend Luna Beauty a million times over. We had her team there for our wedding on 4/2/22. I did extensive research on who I wanted for hire for this because I just think it’s so important. I wanted everyone to feel beautiful and special on our wedding day. I have been in several weddings and never have I seen where every single bridesmaid loves their hair and makeup. Every single girl in my wedding party was raving about their hair and makeup, and as a bride it made me SO so happy to see all of my girls feeling their prettiest. They also made the mother of bride and groom look and feel insanely stunning (both of which rarely wear makeup and were very nervous to get it done). Aside from that, Laura totally NAILED my hair and makeup. I have never felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day. I thought it couldn’t get any better than what we did during my trial, but it did. My makeup AND hair stayed exactly the same all night long. I did an updo and it was the hair of my dreams. I actually slept in it and it was still perfect the next day, haha! Not only was the entire team incredible, but they were incredibly responsive, quick to make any and all adjustments, had us running on time, and were just so sweet. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

10/10 would recommend Laura and her company. Laura was extremely responsive to email/text, was very flexible with trial and last minute day-of changes in time/requests, & not to mention extremely personable and comfortable to work with. Went in to my trial with very minimal requests as far as makeup and hair, Laura took my minimalist expectations and cranked it up10 notches. My hair and makeup lasted ALL NIGHT LONG, LASHES INCLUDED. Again 10/10 recommend.

I found Laura through Instagram and was absolutely blown away with her work!! I did a wedding day hair and make up trail, highly encourage, and Laura did everything I asked for! She recommended that I buy hair extensions to help make my bun larger on my wedding day. After I left my trial, I knew that there a few things with my hair I wanted to change. After the trial my eye shadow look just didn’t feel right to me. Laura did exactly what I asked, it just wasn’t the look I wanted to go with on my wedding day after all. I did more research and when I found what I wanted I sent an email to Laura and let her know of these changes. On my wedding day Laura showed up early, before I did! And was ready to go! She did my moms makeup and it was absolutely beautiful. When it was my turn, I mentioned the small changes I wanted to make with my hair and showed her a picture of the eyeshadow look I wanted to go for. She killed it! I felt and looked absolutely beautiful! I did get hair extensions and it was definitely worth it, the bun was awesome! I cannot recommend Laura enough for your wedding day beauty!

I was also so excited to book and support a Latina HMUA. I was so happy that my mom was able to comfortably speak to someone in Spanish as we all got ready. I found Luna's work on Instagram and really loved the photo and video examples of her hair and makeup! I was super excited when she was available for my wedding day. Our bridal trial went great, I felt like she listened to what I was looking for and continually checked in on my thoughts for adjustments. She even checked in on me a couple days later to see if I wanted to make any changes and took notes of what we did on the trial. On the wedding day, everything was super smooth! She had helpful instructions that she sent ahead of time that helped me know what to expect for the day. I absolutely loved the hair and makeup results, I received compliments all night! I was comfortable because the makeup and hair still felt like me, didn't feel too heavy or too delicate, but the perfect amount of glam. Overall, I highly recommend Luna for your needs! She's easy to work with, great communication, timely, and just a kind person. Her work makes you feel beautiful and confident! I hope to have other occasions to hire Luna in the future.

I fell in love with Luna's work after browsing her Instagram, all her brides look so naturally beautiful, and as someone who lives a very minimalist make up life (sunscreen, blush, brows), she really resonated with me. She is a literal joy to talk to and work with-- I sometimes feel awkward making small talk with strangers, but not with her. She is attentive, kind and really listened to what I wanted. She took notes after our trial and invited me for a re-do when some of the make up didn't quite sit well on my oily skin (at no charge, even). She even had no issue when I decided to change my hair style a few days before. I felt SO beautiful the day of my wedding-- she really nailed it. My make up stayed on, looked beautiful and the subtle vintage glam way I wanted, and my hair held up beautifully as well. She was even so kind as to provide me with some lip liner as I was planning on applying lip stick last minute, and some extra product in case my hair needed a touch up (as I did my appointment at 10am and ceremony was 4pm). She is such a gem and I am going to go to her if I ever need any professional HMU done ever again.
