She both generated ideas for us (day trips, restaurants, hotels, etc.) and was useful to bounce ideas off of for things we knew we wanted to do when we were in Scotland. We felt so much more comfortable having a professional who advocated for us, helped clarify any questions we had, and communicated our special requests (both my fiance and I are gluten-free and she called ahead of time to restauarants and hotels to make sure we would have a variety of options).
