M. A. Carr Bridal

I had been to a handful of bridal shops before booking with M.A. Carr. I was the first appointment upon reopening due to COVID. They were very clean and took excellent measures to ensure the safety of their employees and clients. I had the pleasure of working with Kim. After a quick chat on my style preferences, she left for a few minutes and led us to our fitting area. She had five or six dresses for me to try, all of which I liked. We swapped and adjusted different styles...so well that I ended up with a ‘top three.’ I went home and obsessed over the pictures, ultimately deciding to reach out to her and ask to re-add a dress that didn’t make the cut. She quickly replied yes. My follow up appointment went just as great, and we sealed the deal! Kim is so great to work with. Everyone there is. The shop is cozy, very well decorated (can I live there please? Kim will you be my roommate?), and clean. The most impressive part of the experience for me was that I was not instructed to pick out any dresses. They were chosen for me based on conversation. This means...she listened! And she’s awesome at what she does! No option overload! I cannot rave enough about this place!!!

I had the most amazing experience at M.A. Carr! They were amazing at communication, especially during the uncertainties of Covid-19! They were always so sweet and welcoming! Karen did an AMAZING job helping me find my dress. She listened to what I want and really helped me achieve my vision!

This place was fabulous to work with. The stylist really listened to me when I told her what I was looking for in a dress and found exactly what I was looking for, and made me feel beautiful in every single one! They were professional and clean and were very understanding when my friend from out of town brought her one year old daughter. They made dress shopping painless and I would truly recommend to anyone!!

Everyone at MA Carr has been absolutely incredible so far with selecting my dress! Erin was able to NAIL my dream dress with the first one that I tried on at MA Carr. Jillian was extremely patient with me as we emailed back and forth (she even emailed the designer and got pictures of my dress in another way for me) to help me make an educated decision before purchasing the dress. I cannot wait to receive my dress and I would absolutely recommend MA Carr to any bride!

The day I went here, I wasnt told that there was a bridal expo going on there. They couldn't find one of their sets of swatches for one kind of dresses. Cause they couldn't find the swatches, they just described the color which wasn't correct at all. I had to go find someone everytime my bridal party needed help. Then when the dresses came in, they called me so my sister could pick up all of the dresses (which I wanted), but the dress that they couldn't find the swatch for was not what they described so they didnt have to do anything. Who ever goes through them, make sure before you order the dresses from them that you make sure the dress color is what you want and dont go off what they say. That is my advise for brides picking out bridesmaids dresses. Lastly, they should get some more dresses for bridesmaids atleast that have a full front and back cause not everyone wants to have certain body part sticking out.

There is no other place in Buffalo you should purchase a wedding dress if you are a short gal like me. I am 5'1" and was able to get a Madison James dress made in petite. I am not kidding when I say that my alterations were less than $100 because all I needed was a tuck up top. The petite dress made ALL the difference! It fit me beautifully because it was made for my body type! My mom was also able to find a gorgeous petite dress there are well that made her feel like a movie star! The consultants are so kind, incredibly knowledgeable, and really work with YOU and what YOU want for your big day! Could not recommend more!

I cannot say enough great things about M.A Carr and the staff! I worked with sue I showed her a few pictures of the gowns that I liked off of their website and she pulled a few immediately. I put on the first dress and absolutely fell IN LOVE she also grabbed a vail and a head piece that I purchased as well! From start to finish, Karen at MA Carr was absolutely phenomenal. I showed her a few photos of what I liked (Thank you, Pinterest) and she went right to work picking out styles I thought I loved, and several that I would have never even thought to pick for myself. At the end of the day, I found the PERFECT gown for our day, and I am SO thankful that I went to MA Carr for this special day. They made everything so special for me and my family, going above and beyond every step of the way <3 I will recommend them to everyone looking for a dress <3

MA Carr was by far my FAVORITE bridal shop that I went to out of the 6 that I looked for a dress in. I did not find my dream dress at MA Carr but Erin worked tirelessly to find and make the perfect one for my. She emailed back and forth with both my self and the designer for weeks to try and create the perfect dress. She asked about all the details of my wedding, made recommendations and even sent a hand written letter to me thanking me for coming in. Everyone that works there was so helpful and kind my mom and me. I recommend that every bride go to MA Carr when looking for a dress! I loved my experience there.

After going to a couple different places, M. A. Carr was by far the best. We came without an appointment and they had no problem with it. They were SUPER friendly and made me feel comfortable. They have a huge selection of dresses. If they offer a trunk show, I 100% recommend to go. That’s how I found my dress!

I was so apprehensive about going to look at wedding dresses, but my experience at MA Carr was absolutely wonderful!! It was my first stop and if I didn’t already have another appointment somewhere else, I’d have bought my dress right on the spot. Melissa Glovins was so accommodating and knew what I wanted from the moment we started talking. I tried on 6-7 dresses maybe and I really liked 3 of them. All around best bridal shop I’ve been to. When looking for my dress; scared that I would never find what I wanted, I went to 4 different bridal shops. MA Carr was the last stop. Immediately walking in all of the consultants were so friendly. Erin introduced herself with such positivity and was so easy to get along with. She made me feel comfortable, not pressured, and listened to things I did and did not like. I couldn’t have had a better consultant. After knowing that I found the one, I just couldn’t say yes because my mother wasn’t there. She was so understanding and didn’t put any pressure on me at all. 2 weeks later I made another appointment for my mother to come into town and I said yes to the dress. Im just so amazed by their friendliness and great customer service. I even received a hand written Christmas card in the mail, and a gift when I said yes to my dress. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone. Thank you so much again!

I went to MA Carr for my wedding dress, and she had the most beautfiful selection of dresses in town! They treated myself, my mom and my girls like family. I could not recommend a place more than I do Mary Ann’s store!! After trying on about 5 or so, I knew in my heart it was the first one she showed me. Thanks to all the ladies there!! Can’t wait to walk down the aisle in my gorgeous dress!

My experience dress shopping was amazing. I'm so happy to have picked here for my dream wedding dress. Everyone was so amazing and patient even with all the extra trips I made back to try on accessories and show all my family my dress. I'm so happy I chose here for my dress and that the amazing staff helped me pick such a gorgeous perfect dress.

Beautiful gowns! A little expensive but overall they are worth it. One thing to know is that they no longer have a seamstress so you have to find your own.

The 3 big S’s amazing selection, service and staff, i was definitely a picky bride and i ended up at the salon 3times before i finally said yes! They were so patient, and helpful, the staff really goes above and beyond to make sure you are walking out with the perfect dress! And as for the dresses they have some of the best known names and even some amazing new ones I absolutely fell in love every dress in one of their newest lines. Will be back soon for accessories!

They where truly amazing. So attentive. If I wanted to try something I got it in a matter of minutes. The store was closing soon but she didn’t care she was going to stay until I was done. They listened to my wants and dislikes and really made the process so easy.

Absolutely a 5 star rating! I am the mother of the bride and I stopped in alone to make an appointment as my daughter lives out of town. I showed them a picture of the dress my daughter loved and the owner said I have it, pulled it out to let me see it and told me about the trunk show sale, hoping we could make it back. Well we did on short notice the following Monday, no appointment but they welcomed us and told us how happy they were we came back, we weren't rushed, and she said yes to her dream dress! The whole experience was wonderful and all the staff and owner, shared in our happiness, thank you for your warm hospitality, I will share my experience with other potential brides. This bridal salon is the BEST in Buffalo! The staff is extremely friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They offer a great selection of dresses from wedding gowns, to bridesmaids and moms. I cannot wait for my dress to come in so I can I put it on again! Thank you ladies for everything.

My experience at M.A. Carr was awesome. I was initially a little nervous about trying on dresses, but Erin made the appointment so relaxing and fun. I found my perfect dress yesterday with the help of Cathy. The experience was amazing and she was patient and kind through the process. I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted and gave her a few things I wanted. She found the dress that checked all the boxes. Highly recommend her and ma carr!!

This review is going to be short and sweet, I hope lol. I went back in July for the first time. After trying on 2 dresses, Erin knew exactly what I was looking for and pulled the perfect dresses. Although they were all beautiful, I didn't find "the one." I tried going to another place a month later and the experience was not nearly the same. I left there very unhappy. Here I am now 2 months later, back at MA Carr. Erin remembered my style and what I was looking for and 2 dresses later, I found MY DRESS! Erin is amazing! So sweet, calm, patient, and very easy to talk to! I am a very picky person. My experience would not have been nearly as smooth without her!

Jillan and the rest of the staff were pleasant and professional and would recommend anyone looking for their perfect dress to go there! Jillian was my stylist for all my appointments, she listened to every detail of what I was looking for and helped me find the perfect dress and was so patient and kind! MA Carr was amazing. My first and only stop. Everyone was friendly and happy to see me. I made an appointment during a Hayley Paige trunk show. Melissa was my consultant and she was the best! I really had no idea what I wanted so she brought me a bunch of different styles- but all “different” and non traditional as I wanted. I would recommend going during a trunk show because I also received a $200 accessory certificate with the purchase of my dress , and MA Carr has the most gorgeous hair clips, bracelets and earrings! I completed my whole look there and I’m so happy I did!

Wedding dress selection very limited

DO NOT SHOP HERE! I had a perfectly fine experience picking out a dress, but everything that happened since that day was awful. First: the fitting. I am 5'1", 105 lbs, and wear a 0-00 in clothes. When they took my measurements, they told me I should order a size 6! I was very skeptical, and asked to order a size 4. The girl I was working with raised her eyebrows and made a point of writing down on the order that I had deviated from her recommendation. Well, the dress came in and it was still huge! We are now looking at an expensive alterations bill, which would have been a lot less if I had just ordered my regular size. Let me tell you- it is extremely disappointing to wait many months for your wedding dress to come in, only to try it on and have it not fit anywhere. Second: the bridesmaids dresses. Thanks to their sizing guidelines, which they repeatedly insisted were correct, my bridesmaids dresses are also way too big and need alternations. No surprise there. Next, the bridesmaids dresses took FOREVER to come in. I had one of my out-of-town bridesmaids order hers at a location in her own city, and I ordered two dresses for my other bridesmaids from M.A. Carr. She placed her order two days before I ordered the other two, and her dress came in a whole month sooner than the dresses that came in from M.A. Carr. This shouldn't have been the case since all of the dresses were coming from the same designer. Overall, we were very unhappy with the service we received at M.A. Carr and would not recommend them for bridal gowns, bridesmaids dresses, or any other service.

I had an amazing experience dress shopping at MA Carr! Melissa was so sweet and patient with me and my parents. I had a list of dresses I loved and she pulled them all and asked me great questions about what I liked and didn't. I had picked two favorite dresses from my list but Melissa pulled some other options for me based on my likes. She pulled the most beautiful dress that made me forget about all the others!! She was able to find a dress that included all the things I loved in one perfect fit! I would recommend this salon to anyone dress shopping!!

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! Our consultant, Melissa, asked all the right questions and listened carefully to my daughter's responses. She collected several options, staying within our budget. The first 3 dresses were beautiful, but not perfect. Mary Anne, the owner, was willing to suggest alterations to accommodate my daughter's preferences. When Melissa presented dress #4, we all knew it was "the one" - actual tears all around, and sincere happiness from the staff. Best feeling ever! And to find the perfect veil, as well, was wonderful. I can't speak highly enough how in tune Melissa was to our needs. It truly was the best mother-daughter experience of my life :)

My party and I had such a great time during my appointment! The staff at MACarr were so accommodating. My attendant was so much fun but also knew her stuff when it came to the style of dress that I wanted. They have a beautiful selection and are on top of their game. This bridal salon came highly recommended to me by many previous brides and bride-to-be's so it was the first (and last) stop on my wedding dress journey. They had hand picked the perfect dresses for my body type and what they thought I would like, and even after I thought i had found "the one" they continued to pick dresses and I'm glad they did! I ended up going with something I thought I would never like on me but is totally perfect!! Thank you M.A. Carr, can't wait for our big day!

WOW M A Carr Bridal is the best bridal salon in town. Everyone was beyond wonderful in helping me get my dress. The staff went above and beyond when a local bridal shop claimed bankruptcy after we ordered the flower girl dresses and wouldn't return our calls. Mary Ann Carr stepped up and make a few phone calls for us and helped get our dresses. They truly care about making your day special. Thank you M A Carr. M. A. Carr was the 3rd bridal salon I went to to look at wedding dresses. I had an abstract idea of what I wanted and I was starting to get overwhelmed because I just could not put my finger on what exactly it was that I wanted. The woman (I believe her name was Rachel) pulled a dress for me based on my limited description of what I was thinking. It ended up being my dress! This is the place to find unique, beautiful, wedding dresses. I was amazed at how she was able to work with such limited information and give me the dress of my dreams. The salon itself is adorable, and the alterations were done perfectly too. Everyone in the salon was always very gracious, helpful, and kind. I highly recommend them! Especially if you want to make your spouse's jaw drop on your wedding day!

I got my wedding gown from MA Carr and had Erin as my consultant. The ladies that worked there were wonderful, especially Erin. She made my appointment go exactly as I hoped it would. They had a wide variety of dresses and were able to pick styles that I had described. My bridesmaids also purchased their dresses from MA Carr and we were very happy with those as well. Overall we had a wonderful experience and I would recommend MA Carr to anyone looking for a wedding dress or bridesmaids dress. Thank you MA Carr for making my special day even more special!

Great bridal salon to work with! We didn't have an appointment, but M.A. Carr let us come in and look at both Bridal and Bridesmaids dressed. The girl who worked with me was super attentive and I was able to find my dress on the first try. There was no pressure and she allowed us to take our time. My alterations went perfectly. The seamstress set me appointments up well in advance and everything was perfect the week of the wedding.

My daughter bought her wedding gown and I got my Mother-of the-Bride gown both at M. A. Carr Bridal. They have a tremendous selection of designers and all different styles of gowns many of which cannot be found elsewhere. Not only are the "Fronts" of every gown truly amazing, but the "Backs" are equally spectacular. Their vast selection will please any Bride and Mom. The staff was extremely friendly, creative, and made many helpful suggestions to make that "Special" day truly memorable. The staff even called the designer on a weekend to ask specifics about my daughter's gown. M. A. Carr also has a wonderful selection of head pieces and accessories "Veils, Hats, Belts, Bellaro Jackets, etc" so that any gown can be customized. My Daughter's gown was beautiful and my Mother-of the- Bride gown was so flattering that it actually made me look much thinner. We both looked gorgeous. We received many compliments as well. M. A. Carr gave us a truly great Bridal experience. M. A. Carr is the "Best of the Best"

As a bridesmaid in many, many weddings, I've been a customer of many bridal salons throughout Buffalo, NY. M.A Carr is by far the best. Not only do they have the best selection of wedding gowns, but they treat their customers with love and respect from the moment they walk in the door. They make the bridal gown shopping experience FUN and exciting, like it SHOULD BE! I've stood by my best friends from start (selection) to finish (the final fitting) in their bridal gown experiences, and M.A. Carr has always left a smile on my friends faces. Very professional shop, the owners Maryann and Jillian are so nice. You walk in to the shop and feel so comftable! Both my self and my sister both bought our wedding dress and bridal party dresses there. I highly recommend them !

My cousin got married in the Buffalo, New York area this past summer. She bought her dress at MA Carr Bridal in Orchard Park, NY. The only words that described it were stunning and exquisite. MA Carr also made sure that the gown was tapered so that it fit my cousin just right and looked perfect in all of the pictures. She was nothing short of gorgeous. If you are looking for a beautiful gown, something of a more higher quality than a chain store, MA Carr is the place to go. Mary Anne saw a void in this area of the Buffalo market and has done a very good job filling that need. Her inventory of dresses may be a little bit more costly but are of a much higher quality and value than a dress from a chain store. They are simply elegant. If you are looking for your dream gown that is a step higher than the rest and you have high standards, you need to go to MA Carr. My cousin was very pleased that she did.

I have purchased both a bridesmaid dress and wedding dress from M.A. Carr and had the most lovely experiences! The women who work there are so invested in creating a special experience for you and the owner is attentive and professional. Plus, it's the cutest little shop! Whenever I drive by, I find myself trying to think of reasons to stop in because they just have the most beautiful dresses and the people working there are so wonderful! I have been to other small bridal salons and of course, the big box stores and they just don't compare to M.A. Carr - can't imagine why you would go anywhere else!

BEST POSSIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! I came here 3 times to try on various dresses, and then a 4th time to buy the dress. I cannot express with enough superlatives how thrilled i am with the service, staff, and overall experience!!! ERIN IS A GODSEND! I personally am not enjoying the whole wedding planning/dress process, and she made it a DREAM-- she was professional, so knowledgeable, immensely helpful, answered questions before I even had to ask them, and had stylistic ideas/solutions that completely matched what I was going for every step of the way. She's just literally perfect- you HAVE to ask for her when you go (not to say that the entire staff wasn't INCREDIBLE start to finish! The owner is also the sweetest, most wonderful woman!) I will forever refer anyone from this area to MA Carr!!!!!!!! Not to mention the dresses are fantastic, of course!

They were even willing to order a dress that wasn't in their store but I found elsewhere. Mary Anne (THE MA Carr) was always there to come out and check on me and make sure I was happy with everything. My dress was absolutely gorgeous. I received so many compliments. I kept hearing "Just Stunning" on the day of the wedding. LOVED my dress. And the seamstress was so quick and efficient and paid attention to every detail so that the dress fit my body perfectly. MA Carr has everything you need. I wouldn't have gone anywhere else. You guys are the best!

My experience at MA Carr was great! I didn't know what to expect since it was my first time trying wedding dresses on, but Erin did all the work for me! She got my style and taste down immediately, brought me beautiful dresses and was excellent at her job! Chrissy is also an exceptional employee there ;) There was a trunk show sale that day, and it was very busy. Chrissy came to the rescue with champagne, and guided us through the appointment. Stopped in here to look for a bridesmaids dress. I was there on a Thursday night, about an hour before they closed. When I arrived, Jill already had every dress they had in the color I was looking for set aside. She even helped me take pictures of the dresses to show the bride who could not be there. Excellent service, beautiful boutique, and very reasonably priced. I can't wait to shop there for my own bridal gown!

I had a such a great experience today at M.A. Carr with my consultant Melissa. When there were some choices I liked but was unsure about she agreed to take one more look in the gallery to see if she could blow us away, and she did. She listened to exactly what I wanted, encouraged me to try things I was unsure about to help me uncover my style, and ultimately found for me my perfect dress. And I had the opportunity to try on so many beautiful gowns in one visit so I didn't have to overwhelm myself with multiple visits to multiple salons. A huge plus because of my indecisive nature. I am one step closer to saying "I do" and in part because of this experience even more excited.

Absolutely wonderful service with a great selection of gowns and other wedding attire. When I went to my first appointment for trying on wedding gowns, the associate who helped me find "the one" was very attentive to my ideas and tailored the types of dresses she brought out as appropriate. I decided on a designer dress, but was able to stay easily within my budget. Then when it came time for alterations, the seamstress I worked with was very kind, helpful, and got everything to fit just right. For any areas of the dress that were a bit more tricky to tighten or stretch, the seamstress was very accommodating to additional appointments to make sure we reached a perfect fit. I would highly recommend any bride to M.A. Carr who is looking for a bridal salon with beautiful wedding gown at reasonable prices alongside great service!

I am so happy that I purchased my beautiful dress at M.A. Carr Bridal. They truly give you the whole bridal experience paying attention to every detail. I was unable to get my fittings done there since I live out of town but they were willing to work with me and have my dressed pressed in a very short notice. Erin was my consultant and I couldn't have asked for anyone better! She listened to what I wanted and did not want, and she made me feel so comfortable. I never felt rushed and I always had all of her attention. After trying a few dresses that I thought I loved, I showed her my "Pinterest pick" and she said "we have that dress!" She pulled it and in the end, THAT WAS MY DRESS!!! I would highly recommend specifically asking for Erin. She's sweet, knowledgeable, and has great customer service!

I had a wonderful experience choosing my wedding dress here. I had no idea what kind of style of dress I wanted, but the consultant asked me a few questions and picked out dresses that all made me look phenomenal. The consultant was so nice to talk to and gave me some wonderful advice. When I choose my dress she seemed almost as happy as I was that I had found the perfect gown. It was also super busy in the salon, but they still made me, my family and friends feel like we were the only ones in the salon. I highly recommend this bridal salon!!

Nothing but pleasant experience here! Had a specific dress in mind, and loved it! Some places can be really pushy to make a sale but not this place! Associate did bring me another dress to try on, but was NOT pushy about it. And they were understanding when i decided to wait a few weeks to order my dress. In the meantime I was sent a thoughtful handwritten card, and was able to make another appointment to order the dress quite easily. After saying yes, there is a cute photo op for their facebook page.

She had an extensive knowledge of the inventory and pulled dresses that would flatter my body type. Just bought my wedding dress today at MA Carr. I had a wonderful experience with my consultant, Erin. With every dress that I tried on, she remembered what I liked and didn't like and used that to pull the perfect dress for me. Probably a dress I wouldnt have thought to try but it had everything I was looking for and I am extremely happy with my visit.

Staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. I am a plus-sized bride and was dreading shopping for my wedding dress. Kim and Jillian were so helpful and I have never felt more comfortable in a dress in my life! Beautiful selection, would definitely recommend for any bridal needs.

As soon as I walked into the store, I knew I was going to buy my dress here. The staff welcomed my bridal team & I with open arms. My consultant Erin really took the time to get to know me and my own personal style and she went above and beyond to help me find THE DRESS! I was able to make a second appointment with the store to try on a few more dresses I had saved in my favorites pile, and I knew I was taking a chance with one of them being there because it was in David Tutera's 2015 fall line. (I was in the store Aug 17th) She remembered that the store got a new shipment of dresses that were literally still packed in boxes and she went through each box in the stock room and found the dress in that David Tutera fall line that I completely lusted after! I tried on the dress and immediately I knew this was the one for me! She even commented on how gorgeous it was and showed her other coworkers how beautiful it was! I remember feeling completely overwhelmed with joy and happiness, not only because I found my dress, but because Erin went above and beyond for me to make sure I was going to feel special on my wedding day. I was so nervous to try on wedding dresses for the first time, but I knew that I was going to go to M.A. Carr first based on the reviews I found online and word of mouth. I have to say I am so happy that I decided to go to this bridal salon before checking out any others. Erin was great to work with! I showed her a couple of dresses that I had pinned, and she worked her magic! She made me feel completely comfortable and at easy during the entire experience. As I tried on the first dress, I was sold. It was everything I wanted and didn't even feel the need to try on the other dresses Erin had pulled for me. But I did, and it became apparent after the 6th and final dress that the first one was "the one"! I can't wait to go back with my bridesmaids, my mom, and future mother in law to help select their dresses. I highly recommend M.A. Carr Bridal for finding the perfect wedding dress!

I had a wonderful experience at M.A. Carr. They have a great selection of dresses of any preference...no need for Buffalo brides to travel to big cities..everything you like, you can find it at M.A. Carr!!! The bridal consultant Melissa was very helpful since I was not sure about the style of my dress...Also, both the bridal consultants and the seamstress were very patient when I was having my family on SKYPE calls from Greece! As an out-of-town bride, they always accommodated by appointments at my convenience. The seamstress was awesome and very very professional!!! Everybody in my July wedding were amazed with my dress!! M.A. Carr has the hands down best selection of wedding gowns in the Buffalo area. The ladies who work here make the experience absolutely wonderful. I myself have visited the location three times-I was a bit conflicted on the style of dress I wanted for my wedding-and Erin helped me each time. On the third try we found my wedding dress and I couldn't be happier with my experience there. PS: I was the girl who couldn't make up her mind, brought a big entourage, had a photoshoot while trying on dresses, face-timed family members during it, and disappeared many times to look at the bridesmaid dresses. Even though I was clearly a difficult bride, they gave me the greatest customer service I could ask for. Thank you to Erin, and all the ladies who put up with me and my crazy bridal bunch!

I recorded a special deal for ordering my dress on my first trip to the salon- 50% off one accessory, which brought the price of my beaded belt down significantly! They have a huge dress selection. M. A. Carr bridal has gorgeous bridal gowns. When I went for my appointment my consultant picked out about 5 gowns and I found mine on the 3rd one. She was excellent...unfortunately I believe she is no longer working there. I was offered to have special measurements done by Casablanca bridal, however those ended up being incorrect and my dress came in too big. I had to go through about 4 dress fittings before everything was perfect. With persistence I was able to get the owner to see that my dress came in incorrectly and I indeed did not lose any weight! (Although I wish I had!) I felt that I should be compensated for the extra money I spent on it and finally after the owner did measurements and talked with the seamstress, she offered to take money off. Once that was taken care of, I was satisfied. Karen the seamstress does excellent work and I felt beautiful in my gown.

From the time I got there I received exceptional service. The staff was so nice and helpful. I had Melissa and she was absolutely the BEST!! She knew all the flattering dresses for my shape! Needless to say. I said YES TO THE DRESS! I would highly recommend them.

Upon walking into M.A. Carr I wasn't sure if I would find any dress within my budget. I was very surprised by how well Melissa understood exactly what I was looking for. She really went above and beyond and was so patient with me as a tried to find my dress. I found my dress and really enjoyed the entire process! I will definitely be returning to M.A. Carr to pick out my bridesmaids' dresses!

I highly recommend M.A. Carr bridal for your wedding gown purchase! After having a terrible time trying on wedding dresses and being very disappointed, as well as receiving mediocre service I was beginning to lose hope. However, I had noticed that M.A. Carr carried David Tutera for Mon Cheri. They are the only shop in my area that did. I decided to drive the 1.5 hours for the David Tutera Trunk Show and was not disappointed. The shop is gorgeous and welcoming. The staff were genuine and eager to help me find the dress of my dreams. After going to many shops and finding nothing I liked, at M.A. Carr I had the hardest time choosing between two gorgeous gowns. They had many dresses to choose from and I found my perfect dress! The staff was overjoyed with the fact I had found something I loved so much! I couldn't imagine a better bridal experience. Thank you M.A. Carr for turning my horrid wedding dress experience into a wonderful memorable one!

I live in Manhattan but when searching for the dresses I loved on The Knot, this bridal salon near my hometown in Western New York kept consistently coming up as one of the places that carried them. I decided to make a special trip home as they seemed to carry all the dresses I had been dreaming of and was lucky enough to come home the weekend of their Allure trunk show in October. When I arrived, they were extremely organized. Even though there were a lot of people there (I brought 4 of those people myself), it never felt overcrowded because of the way they ran their salon. Melissa helped me to pull some trunk show dresses and, although she was helping other brides as well (as is typical for a trunk show), I felt like she was just helping me. She assured me that if I didn't find a trunk show dress, she would then help me in essentially a second appointment to find another dress. Melissa listened to what I wanted and pulled my dream dress. She was so helpful picking out some accessories so I could see what the complete look would be. I ended up buying the first Allure dress I had put on, and with a 10% discount and some other treats because it was from the trunk show. I was in and out in an hour-and-a-half with a gorgeous dress that came in under budget. I couldn't say enough good things about my experience at M.A. Carr. They have a great selection of dresses and some wonderful ladies there to help you sort through them. If you live anywhere near them, GO!

I had an awful first experience at a DIFFERENT bridal shoppe that had completely turned me off to ever trying dresses on again. Fellow brides suggested I try M A Carr and I hestitantly made an appointment. The women there made me feel beautiful and like I was the only one in the room. They pulled dresses based off what I initially thought I wanted and tailored the next selection based off what I pointed out as likes and dislikes. I bought my dress the first day I went and I cannot wait to go back for my fitting. Thank you ladies for such an amazing experience!
