Madison Town and Country Bridal Shop

I procrastinated because I was not excited about dress shopping. But these women were such a joy to work with and I fell in love with my dress! It was something I would’ve never picked. Everything went very smoothly. And everyone was super nice! They even helped my husband get a tux through Jim’s Formal Wear. The whole process was stress free.

Everyone at Madison Town and Country were so friendly and a joy to work with. Their bridal gowns are all so beautiful and they were very helpful in the selection process. Honestly, they made me feel like family! I would highly recommend Madison Town and Country to anyone!

I had the worst experience here. The consultant was really nice and helpful, but when my dress came in, it didn't fit. The manager (who had taken my measurements when I purchased my dress) came over and told me that I must have gained a lot of weight for the dress to not fit. As it turns out, she ordered it a size too small. I calmly asked the manager what could be done to remedy the situation only a few months out from the wedding, and she proceeded to yell at me and my two friends who tried to come up with solutions. I should have cut my losses and searched for an off the rack dress from another shop at that time, but I took her up on her offer to use the sample dress I'd tried on originally (with no refund even though I paid for a custom dress) and let them do alterations in-house for the last little adjustments since there was no time to reorder before the wedding. The seamstress ended up ruining the back, which was my favorite part of the dress, and I am so unhappy with the results of her work. I went back for three fittings and explained what was wrong with it each time I saw her, and despite her assurances that she could-- and would-- fix it, she never did. The only silver lining of this pandemic and having to postpone our wedding a year is that now I have time to find a new dress from somewhere else (literally anywhere else at this point) and not be stuck with a dress that has such terrible memories associated with it for my wedding.

I had such a wonderful experience! My consultant was so patient with me and helped figure out which dress shape looked best on me!! This was my first and only trip to a bridal salon and I was not disappointed at all!!

I loved my experience here! They were so helpful and made picking out a dress a ton of fun. They even were able to pull a dress from the window at last minute to try on and that ended up being the one. I would highly recommend them.

I ended up swinging into MT&C on a spur of the moment a few days after getting engaged. I was blown away by the quality of dresses and support e were provided while looking. I ended up falling in love with the very first dress I tried! I was able to return a couple of times throughout the waiting process to try on the dress to show family and just be in the dress. The tailor was very sweet and VERY accommodating. I had my dream dress and dream wedding dress shopping experience thanks to MT&C. I would recommend shopping here to anyone! Thank you MT&C!!

I found a beautiful Chic Nostalgia dress at Madison Town and Country! They have a large selection of gowns and some unique ones that are different than the selection at other shops. Also, the seamstress does a great job!

I absolutely loved the staff at Madison Town and Country. I was a walk-in and they were able to accommodate me with getting a dress in such a short amount of time and not one that was a basic dress! My fiancee and mother also got their wedding attire here too! Highly recommend them!!

Riley is the best at helping brides! She won't stop until you find your dream gown! She picked out the absolutely perfect one for me! She's talented and very personable. I recommend Madison Town and Country to anyone wanting to feel heard and respected when it comes to finding a wedding gown. We also rented all of the groomsmen tux here....9 tux! They did a wonderful job providing suggestions and fitting everyone's tux perfectly. Highly recommend them!

Madison Town & Country is hands down the best bridal shop! The moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and comfortable. Everyone was so amazing and helpful. Riley showed me all sorts of dresses and really took the time to get to know my tastes and personality to get an idea of dresses to pull for me to try on. I had my dress altered in shop and that experience was great as well! My bridesmaids also purchased their dresses through MT&C. With many living out of state, the process was pretty easy. I cannot say enough good stuff about Madison Town & Country.

From the moment you walk in to Madison Town & Country, it is a completely different experience than any other shop you have ever been too. When I initially made an appointment, I was already dreading wedding dress shopping but because the ease of the process and the help of Taylor, everything went flawlessly. From the first phone call to the final selection, my experience at Madison Town & Country was superb! Taylor was able to help me find a ton of different dresses in my price range and made me feel totally comfortable throughout the process. She never made me feel rushed or pressured — and that was HUGE to me! When I finally found "the one" her excitement rivaled my own, it was evident that she truly cares about all of her brides. The entire experience was just wonderful and I couldn't recommend this store enough!!

I would highly recommend MT&C for someone looking for wedding dresses. Going dress shopping myself, I was becoming diacouraged that I wouldn’t find “the dress.” After trying on the same dress more than once at MT&C, I knew I had found my dress. Their customer service was impeccable. They treated me with such kindness and respect. What made the experience even more special is that my mother found her wedding dress at one of MT&C’s previous locations years ago. It was an experience I hope to always cherish and remember.

I am so grateful for the ladies at Town & Country! I came in looking for a pretty specific type of dress and long sleeves were a MUST. They introduced me to Casa Blanca Bridal who allow customizations to their gowns. We found the most perfect dress that I could add sleeves to!! The entire process was wonderful, with the best part being that I was so included in the designing process! I’ve never been one to want something that everyone else has, so I felt incredibly special on my wedding day wearing a custom (yet affordable) gown. I highly recommend shopping for your bridal gown at MT&C!!

The whole experience at Madison Town and Country was nothing more than AMAZING!! I had been at other boutiques before my appointment with them and I was completely frustrated walking in. The consultant listened to what I wanted and also had the dress I wanted. First of course I had to try on the dress I wanted then her suggestions. As other places just pulled dresses that didn't have anything I wanted, MT&C consultant only pulled what they had as what I wanted in a dress. Now torn between what I wanted and some other dress that were what I wanted. Tough decision but I went with my first instinct. Was very difficult as the other places were easy to turn down their selections. Alterations were amazing as well. They had to take the dress down several sizes to fit me 4 on top/ 6 on bottom and I'm short!!! Not a problem for their amazing seamstress! She even saved the not needed fabric for sentimental reasons. I loved her! She was going to make sure it fit just right and made sure it had a new loop for my dress to be held up while dancing. Super easy appointments to fit your needs. I'm absolutely glad I found this place.

I was pleasantly surprised when going to Madison Town and Country, they were so so sweet to me and helped me find my perfect dress! They were very patient with me, and had a great selection! They made it hard to choose from all the beautiful dresses they had! I had an awesome experience with them, so I 10/10 would recommend them! And they’re easy to work with!

Picking out my dress was the first thing I did after I was engaged and I couldn't have had a better experience with Madison Town and County! From the chalk board with my name on it welcoming me to the final moment I picked my dress up, everything was perfect. The staff is wonderful to work with and will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and special in every way, like every bride should feel when they are searching for a dress! I showed my consultant one picture and told her the style I liked she nailed it. Picking out tuxes was such a smooth process also and everyone was so helpful with everything. I cannot recommend Madison Town and Country enough!

I got my wedding gown here, and after such great service, decided to get my bridesmaids gowns here as well. All the ladies working here are super sweet, and they make you feel really special. If you purchase your gown here, the alterations are done for free. The tailor was super nice and was able to make my dress fit perfectly in one fitting. I highly recommend shopping here for your big day! I got my dream dress within my budget:)

They have the best selection of plus size wedding dresses. I bought mine from here and it was super easy and the best price for what I wanted.

My daughter selected her wedding dress here and bridesmaids’ dresses. Service and friendliness was over-the-top! My daughter had selected several dresses to try, the one she selected was our salesperson’s favorite as well😊. Good eye for what compliments style and figure.

Awful people!! Read the Yelp. They insisted our bridesmaids order their dresses multiple sizes up after we gave them our measurements. The dresses were FAR too big for the bridesmaids in our party, but Madison Bridal wouldn't hear it. We called and tried to get our dresses exchanged, but they said they couldn't (wouldn't) and that alterations would fix everything. Well, I wasted $250 on the dress plus $150 on alterations on a dress that never fit! Multiple bridesmaids ended up paying $150-$200 to get their wrong-sized dresses fixed, and even with alterations the dresses did not fit properly! The old woman was rude and dismissive to all our bridesmaids who called with these issues. If a garment doesn't fit in the shoulders/bodice then the dress won't fit. Mine was 2+ sizes too large and even though I called multiple times to ask for a different size, or speak to someone about my experience, they were shockingly rude and blamed me. They insisted I must have lost weight or that my measurements were wrong. Um, no, Madison Bridal just wants you to buy an oversized dress so you'll pay them even more for crappy alterations. Well, there was no way I could wear their crap down the aisle because it didn't nearly fit and looked awful. Since they didn't care to help us with the shoddy product they sent, I had to get a whole new dress. We went to Modern Brides. Go to Modern Brides instead!!!! Not only were they pleasant and helpful, they gave me THE SIZE I ASKED FOR. The size that fit me and my measurements right off the right rack with no alterations at all!! Like I'd told Madison originally, but of course they ignore the customer. Awful, rude people at Madison. Zero customer service. They don't care about their customers. Seriously, go to Modern Brides. 100000x better and you won't waste hundreds of dollars.

Besides the owner being a bit rude while we were in the shop looking for bridesmaid dresses, I had a blast! The girl that helped us was so friendly and helpful. I picked out a beautiful dress for my bridesmaids to wear and they came in a lot quicker than they said they would. There were definitely a lot of measurement snafus but I think a lot of that comes with my bridesmaids being all over the country, having to get their measurements on their own and call them in and compare them to the measurements of the designer's dress so I wouldn't say that was their fault.

Absolutely love this shop! They made time for me even though I was a walk in, and by the fourth dress I said "Yes!". Amazing people and amazing dresses!

Madison Town and Country Bridal Shoppe has an excellent selection of bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses and mother of the bride/groom dresses. I am so happy with my Maggie Sottero bridal gown and the alteration service that comes with it. My ladies look beautiful in their Bill Levkoff bridesmaids dresses. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Working with them has been a delight and they have made this one of the easiest processes of planning our special day. I recommend this charming bridal salon to every bride I talk to.

I came her first to look for my bridesmaid dresses because my MOH had such a good experience here as a bridesmaid in another wedding. We immediately had great service! The selection was unbelievable. Once I described my vision, they brought us straight to what we wanted. Each girl had a different style of dress and different fabrics. They were able to get the dresses all in the same color. Up-charges for adding length was extremely reasonable. Payment was easy for my out of town bridesmaid. One of my bridesmaids loved her experience so much, she brought all of her bridesmaids here for her wedding. You can't beat the knowledge, selection, and service of these ladies!

Very helpful! I loved the experience and the staff while shopping for my dress. The only problem I had was that my sisters dress (matron of honor) fell apart in the middle of the reception!! We took this concern and issue to madison town and country and they deflected and said it was the manufactures fault.

Worst bridal shop I have ever been to. The owner is extremely rude. This shop did not explain to me that it takes 12 weeks for bridesmaid dresses to come in, then told me I needed to fork over $200 to pay for the dresses to ship on time. I'm so happy I called around, because Bellas Bridesmaids of Birmingham quoted me the dress at HALF the price. Better prices and better customer service can be found elsewhere! Don't let this tacky business rip you off.

The employees at Madison Town and Country will take the time to find a dress that matches your personal style. They will also do their best to honor your price range without pushing more expensive options. The alterations that come with your purchase are incredible. Highly recommend.

First time visiting store: No other customers were in the store, but I was told I would have to make an appointment to see the dresses. I guess because they had an "appointment" with another "customer" in an hour??? If you like snobbery then this is the place for you! Very disappointed. (if I could give a no stars or negative stars rating, I would)
