Born in La Habana, Cuba, raised and residing in NYC—since a very early age, makeup has been Jen’s art and passion. At present, with six years in the industry Jen continues to empower women, making them feel confident and beautiful through her makeup artistry on the most important day of their lives. I don't even know where to begin on describing how wonderful Jen as been. I have a very particular style because I am Indian. My culture is very loud and colorful but personally I like my outfits to do the talking while my make up and hair have a sleek and modern look. In a pool of many MUA's, I luckily found Jen for my engagement photoshoot. I was so tired of so many MUA's on instagram putting so many filters or using face app to edit their clients faces for more views. It's deceit in my eyes. When I came across Jen's page, she posted videos of close ups and her clients looked filtered in real life, except there was no filter. That's how I knew she was the perfect fit for me. Jen did my engagement shoot make up, and I was BLOWN away. I've never felt so beautiful before. It was the first glam I ever had that made me feel like myself but enhanced. I received unlimited compliments and I couldn't stop staring at myself. Soon after, Jen did my engagement party, bridal shower, Jaggo (indian event), my traditional Sikh wedding day, and reception party make up. I even got an opportunity to model for her masterclass which was probably one of the coolest things! So many people loved the look she did on me and wanted a masterclass on it. In the past year, Jen has done my make up a total of 7 times. Each and every time I've struggled to pick my jaw off the floor during the reveal because I am always amazed of her artistry. Aside from doing my make up, Jen and her team came together to do 9 other ladies on my wedding day. Her team of artists are wonderful and all my ladies loved their looks! Jen has done really well with organizing the right MUA's for clients. Aside from being my make up artist, she has became someone I admire, look up, and most importantly, a friend. She has always accommodated to all of my requests. Jen has this positive energy and her smile is contagious. She has a rare talent of simply looking at your outfit and coming up with a very unique look suitable just for your face. Even though my wedding is over, that doesn't mean glam sessions are over! I will continue to book Jen for all my future glams and I am even more excited to see what creativity she comes up with. If you are looking to book Jen, don't think twice. Just do it! I understand why Jen is booked so far in advance! I booked her over a year in advance and I’m so glad I did because the experience she gave me was absolutely incredible. My makeup looked AMAZING all night! She is also very easy going and makes the experience so comfortable. I honestly can’t thank her enough!!

Jen and her team were amazing!!! They were very quick and finished before the scheduled time. My makeup was flawless! Even after crying all day I didn’t have to touch up. I live in Texas so it was very important for me to have full smoky glam and Jen killed it. She’s so talented I traveled from Houston to Burlington, NJ for one day just to do my makeup trial because I knew I didn’t want anyone else but her doing my makeup on my wedding day. I wish I could take her with me everywhere lol but seriously Jen and her team were perfect and made me feel like a queen on my wedding day!

OMG.. there isn’t enough space for me to write all the amazing and wonderful things about, Jen! First off, Jen is a beautiful soul inside and out. Her energy is infectious. BUT her talent is out of this world. I literally looked like a walking filter on my wedding. I knew that I made the right decision hiring Jen, based on her work seen on her social media platforms, but she blew my expectations out of the water. Jen! Where do I start! Thank you so much for making me look my absolute best! I could not believe my makeup! I had a catastrophic makeup experience the first time I had my makeup professionally done and I was stressed about doing so for my wedding. I didn’t get to do a trial which I would definitely recommend if possible but Jen’s professionalism and warmth made this experience a calming, stress free, and comfortable session for me. Jen has an attention to detail and created the perfect look for me while taking the scenery and wedding decor into account. I looked amazing all day and even at the after party my makeup was flawless. It was an absolute pleasure to have her contribute her talent to my big day. Her work speaks for itself but her personality and work ethic make for an experience worth booking!

Jen is amazing! Both her and Colombia (apart of her team) are so talented. Jen has been a favorite make up artist of mine for many years. It was a dream come true to have my makeup done by her for my wedding. My makeup was flawless all day long. Through tears and lots of smiles it did not move or smudge at all! All I have to say is that I have never met someone so kind, generous, and caring. Jen was absolutely amazing from start to finish. When I found her through many many suggestions for wedding makeup on Instagram, I thought her work was beautiful and unique and provided a diverse display of makeup for different skin tones. This was something that was very important for me and for my bridesmaids. From the first trial I already knew that she was going to be part of this experience. She not only gave me the look I wanted but made me feel comfortable through the process. Finally on wedding day, Jen made the process go smoothly. She took her time on me, eased me through the way, and at the end absolutley killed it! I felt so beautiful! My bridesmaids were so happy and felt like their look complemented them and their different skin tones. I booked Makeup by Jen for my wedding as a suggestion found by my best friend via her incredible Instagram catalog (that she professionally captures herself) and I am beyond thankful that I did! She is THE total package! Not only did she execute a flawless masterpiece, she brought along her amazing energy and suggestions to help my vision come to life! She is the modern day Picasso and literally an angel on earth! she gave me directions along the whole way and made me feel at ease during what should be a stressful day! I had the pleasure of working with Jen for my wedding 05.11.24. Jen was amazing to work with. Her portfolio speaks for itself. She does amazing work and that’s why I booked with her. Wedding day can be stressful but Jen arrived on time set up and was ready to go . She was great to work with easy to speak with and we laughed. I didn’t know what I really wanted make up wise, she asked me a couple of questions and took it from there. The end result was perfection. I loved my makeup and got compliments all night on it. One thing about me is I’m a crier and I cried many times that night (happy tears) and my makeup did not budge. I was super impressed lol. But overall Jen made me feel absolutely stunning. I love her work and love her as a person. Would book her again 10 out of 10 🤍

She is absolutely amazing! She did my make up for my wedding day and made me feel like an absolute princess! I really never have had my make up done and the first time I got it done was for my engagement shoot. I felt like I was wearing a mask! However, when I had my make up done with Jen for my wedding, I felt like I wasn’t even wearing any! I felt so beautiful and so comfortable. It even lasted the entire day and night. I also did a lot of dancing and it did not budge! I felt absolutely amazing and couldn’t recommend her enough! She is extremely talented!!! You will regret it if you don’t book her for your wedding!

After viewing Jens instagram page and seeing her work as a makeup artist on Brides, I reached out to her regarding my wedding. From the very beginning of the process to the day of the wedding, Jen was very professional and had amazing communication with me regarding my wedding. I loved her worked always and decided to book her before doing a trial or knowing her in person. This was one of the best decisions I made for myself for my wedding. If you like her work on Instagram you will absolutely love the way you look on your wedding day. I looked exactly how I wanted to look on my wedding day and my pictures came out amazing! Words can’t explain how beautiful Jen made me look and feel on my wedding day. I used to watch her YouTube videos way back and I always said I wanted her to do my makeup for my wedding. So the fact that she did was a dream come true. I literally looked like a filter. My skin looked flawless, the eyeshadow was blended to perfection, my Lips.. omg I had never seen them look so symmetrical in my life. I was very pleased with my makeup. Not only did she do a great job but she made me feel beautiful the whole time by complimenting me and making what can be a stressful time, fun and stress free. I could not imagine feeling more beautiful on my wedding day, and I owe a large part of that to Jen. I spent several weeks trying to find the perfect makeup artist, and once I found her photos on Instagram I was dead set on having her. It is important to note her makeup does not require any sort of edits or filter! A detail that you will find to be prevalent throughout makeup pages on social media. She was incredibly meticulous applying my makeup to ensure all my best features were highlighted, and I was blended to the point I looked airbrushed. All my makeup was set incredibly well, but even so, I was given a touchup kit on the off chance I cried it off (happy to report I managed to keep it mostly together). I would not recommend anyone else besides her. I fully intend to take one of her makeup classes in the future because I cannot live my life without learning this perfected wedding look.

Words cannot describe how amazing Jen is!!! First, my September 29, 2023 wedding happened in the torrential rains of Super Storm Ophelia. lol Jen traveled from far and because there were many roads closed due to flooding she kept me in the loop as to her ETA every step of the way. She arrived at my hotel with a beautiful smile, very apologetic and READY TO GO! She set up quickly and put me right in her chair and said "I need to do you first, you are the beautiful bride and I need all the time to get you ready". I almost cried because I was so nervous! She did an amazing job on both me and my sister (MAID OF HONOR). I have never felt prettier than I did that day. She was calm and very confident. She's very professional and yet very down to earth. SHE KNOWS HER STUFF! She knows about all types of skin and all types of complexions (being I'm an older bride) lol She is truly the best of the best and if you want to also feel and look your best on your biggest day, PLEASE look NO FURTHER! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. She is exceptional! Her other artist Angie did my bridesmaids while we waited for Jen to arrive. My girls were also so very happy with their makeup as well. She too was amazing! God Bless these ladies for "row-boating" to my hotel to make us look amazing!!!!

I am still dreaming about the makeup Jenn did for my mom and I on my wedding date. The morning started out pretty hectic, but Jenn had such a calm and friendly demeanor, I knew I was in good hands. She walked me through everything as she was giving me my glam and asked for inspiration of what I wanted and didn’t want. The feeling I had when I first saw my bridal make up finished- priceless. My mom isn’t someone who uses make up at all, so she was concerned initially about being glammed. But when she danced over to me with her GORGEOUS face lit up, she looked SO beautiful. Our make up was done around 11am, and it stayed perfection through all the rain, all day and night end. Thank you, Jenn!! We looked beautiful on the most special day because of you.

Jen and her team were absolutely incredible to work with. Two additional artists, Sahi & Bisi, worked on my bridesmaids and did a phenomenal job. All of their looks were perfect and lasted for hours. Now for myself and my mom, Jen worked her magic! The whole experience was so calm and relaxing, which was exactly what I needed on such a big day. My makeup lasted throughout the whole day/night, through all of the dancing and tears! I could not recommend Jen more. First and foremost I have to start by saying that Jen was the very FIRST vendor I immediately reached out to as soon as my venue was booked. I loved her artistry, skill, and diverse portfolio when I first came across her work. Jen is very passionate about what she does and it shows with her knowledge through years of experience, professionalism, punctuality, and perfectionism! I can honestly say I didn’t have an inspired look that I wanted because I trusted her that much to allow my face to be her canvass. Not only did she make me look and feel beautiful, she also shed 15 years off my mothers face lol. Jen takes pride in her work and it shows as well as the people she works alongside with. Her assistant, Darlene obtains all of the qualities as Jen and was an amazing addition to helping my 3 sisters get glammed up. Lastly, a definite MUST…do the skin prep she provides! It was an absolute pleasure to be her client!

Simply amazing! I should have wrote this review long ago but this goes to show that I still remember how stunning my make up was and how amazing I felt on my big day. I don’t want any other bride to miss their opportunity to book Jen because she is simply amazing. In full transparency, Jen was late and of course like any bride I panicked a bit but let me tell you that she made up for it. She purposely added some wiggle room so my bridesmaids and I were ready just on time for photos while she then worked on my mom. As far as the make up, it lasted allllllll night and didn’t move anywhere even through tears and sweat from dancing all night. I am not kidding when I say that at the end of the night my makeup was just as it was when she finished on me, with the exception of touching up the lipstick. Jen, THANK YOU!

Wow Wow Wow. All I can I say Jen is the BEST and has an amazing team. Everyone looked flawless. By far the best wedding makeup I have ever seen. I looked absolutely stunning on my wedding day. I have never received so many compliments. My bridesmaids loved their makeup so much- stating "they've never looked better" and some of them were brides! Jen is very personable and professional. I recommend doing a makeup trial with her so you can figure out what looks best on your skin for the big day and you can make a couple of tweaks so you look and feel your absolute best! Jen is THE BEST!! I booked her for my wedding before I could schedule a trial but I’m so glad I took that chance. She is a true artist— she ensures every single detail is exactly right. For my trial, I asked for shimmery glam eyes with a big wing and she DELIVERED! Every detail was crisp, smooth and symmetrical. She showed me a couple different options (liner color, etc) and really cared that I was happy. On my actual wedding day, I had a scab between my eyebrows (worst nightmare) and she camouflaged it like you wouldn’t believe. My skin looked flawless. Her work was very consistent— the look she created for the trial is exactly what I go again for the wedding. Jen is also great with communication and transparent about pricing. You really can’t go wrong booking her for your big day!!

I will start by saying that my wedding day was the day I have felt the most beautiful in my entire life! Jen was so sweet and professional from the very beginning. I scheduled a makeup trial and definitely recommend it since you may envision something but it looks completely different on you and so that Jen can get to know your skin type/tones. I have combination skin and makeup tends to crease and after the trial my face still became oily so I was very nervous. But the day of the wedding OMG. My makeup was absolutely PERFECT the entire day and night, not a bit of oil or a crease in sight! Jen thank you so much for being you, a perfectionist. For taking your time, giving your suggestions on what would be best for me, and making sure you didn’t leave until you and I felt that everything was perfect.

I don't have enough good things to say about Jen! From the beginning she has always been punctual and professional, but her makeup has always been FLAWLESS. She is beyond all the makeup artist I have ever worked with. I had a bridal party of 18 girls, and her and her team absolutely made each and everyone of us look stunning. Where do I even start!? From the very first communication with Jen she was more than amazing! She answered all my questions and blew all my worries away. I booked Jen I believe almost two years before my wedding so the wait was absolutely WORTH IT. As the date got closer we set up a bridal trial and lemme tell you I was trying to go out that night!! lol cuz I looked so good Meeting her was the cherry on top because she truly is the sweetest and most down to earth human ever! Honestly I felt like I was talking to a friend ( and in my head she's my best friend now lmao) On our big day! 5/27/22 Jen along with Darlene (another amazing makeup artist she brought) did my makeup along with 4 of my bridesmaid, my mom, and they even fit my flower girl niece in last min! I did not take a peek until I was completely done and when I finally saw Jen's final work I was filled with so much emotions, I've never felt so beautiful!! The work and time she put into my face was phenomenal to say the least! I felt so beautiful the whole day/night and my husband absolutely cried when he saw me!! lol so win win. Their makeup was flawless and they all kept telling me how much they loved their makeup. This truly filled my heart because I of course wanted to feel amazing but I wanted my ladies to feel just as beautiful and that's exactly what happened. Jen was absolutely amazing. My makeup was phenomenal and everything I imagined. Her blending skills are on point and my makeup literally lasted way after our wedding. I was heart broken when I had to take it off to go to bed that's how great it came out. Jen is organized, made sure my bridal party makeup was finished on time and they all came out beautiful and perfect for the look I wanted. I had to book her again for my baby shower in Aug. and I can't wait!

I first seen Jen on YouTube and always loved her personality. I started to follow her on Instagram as well and viewed her work and thought besides her having an amazing personality she really has good skill and when we finally met it was all true she is so sweet and very professional. She worked with me on my recent wedding march 25,2022 the quality of products she use are top notched. Her ability to “color” match is amazing. I’ve always had makeup artist or sales people not able to match my skin or under tones and she didn’t have a problem. She’s simply amazing and will hire her for everything from now on.

Jen was a pleasure to have as a makeup artist! She was very warm and professional. I loved how she kept my hairstyle and dress in mind when creating a stunning makeup look that complimented the whole vibe I was going for. My husband loved how stunning my makeup looked and that Jen still managed to make me look like myself. He had reservations about me getting professional makeup because he thought I would be unrecognizable. She also applied the makeup on my bridesmaids flawlessly. I had a wide range of skin tones and skin types in my bridal party and she was able to make all of them look gorgeous. Overall, I was uber satisfied with my makeup look and loved that it lasted all night through tears, laughs, and lots of dancing. Highly recommend!

I swear she’s a sister from another mother! 🤍 I booked Jen for a South Asian wedding event and I made the best choice. Jen is hands down the most professional, sweetest and creative soul I ever met! She took a traditional south Asian look and created such a masterpiece with a modern touch that still keeps my look gorgeous and flawless with culture. Not only was this one of her masterpieces, but it was such a unique look that till this day, everyone keeps asking who was my makeup artist even after I tagged her. It was that breathtaking. She works with your idea, she knows her makeup skills and matches it best according to your face and style. Could I rate over 5 stars?! Jen is just INCREDIBLE! I booked her originally for my 09/05/20 wedding, but 2020 happened and things did not go as planned. Jen made the process so easily to postpone to our later date. I still got married with a backyard wedding on our original date and booked her again for that wedding, but just had our big wedding on 12/04/21. Jen, thank you for literally making my Disney Princess Dream come true for making me feel my best with your incredible work. Ladies, she is the best MUA ever. She is so helpful, understanding and will always make sure you are comfortable in every possible way. I barely wear make up ever and she does not make you feel like you have pounds of makeup on. I’ve been following Jen’s Instagram for years! When I got engaged I said I have to book her! She had done my makeup for my bridal shower and it stood all day from 7 am way past 6 pm. My wedding makeup was the best makeup I have ever had ! It stood all night even through the tears. She was very professional and brought good vibes to my getting ready process. Where to begin. Jennifer was the absolute best. From my trial to my big day, she was such an amazing and part of my wedding. She’s so genuine and sweet. Her kind heart and beautiful soul radiates though her work. Make up is one of those things I believe you shouldn’t cheap out on, especially on your wedding day. Jennifer was worth every penny! She made my getting ready experience flawless ( and can’t forget my actually make up application!!) She addressed my every concern and even referred me for a facial that made my make up application that much better. Jen made me look like a movie star! My make up lasted 14 plus hours of my wedding laughs, tears, and kisses. I’d choose her again and again. My bridal party looked nothing short of perfect as well!! Jen is a truly angel!!! I first did a bridal trial & booked her on the spot for my wedding. I booked her for my original date 10.10.21 but unfortunately I had to postpone due to covid. Jen didn’t hesitate to change my date! She was very understanding and flexible. As the wedding got closer, she was in constant communication with me. The big day came and she was punctual with time. She was able to manage keeps my bridesmaids engaged and also still working. When it came to my makeup, she took her time by and making sure what I liked. She stood back after my makeup was done & took photos & videos. The next day she sent me them & I absolutely fell in love!! I will not go to anyone but Jen!! Don’t think twice, book her!! Jen is who you want for any big event in your life. She is beyond talented how she transformed my makeup but still made it look like me. She blows my mind how she does it! My family and I love her so much we stumbled across her for my sisters bachelorette and that was the best encounter we could have made. We then used her for my sisters wedding and then my wedding! I am a covid bride. I was initially supposed to get married 08/2020. My wedding was postponed for a whole year! Jen was so helpful and understanding during this time and rescheduled for this year. We were in contact strictly via email, and she was very responsive and always answered my questions. I had a large bridal party! I booked Jen to do the makeup for me (bride) and nine others! We were going to start getting ready at 6 am to have everyone done in time. However, as the day got closer, Jen emailed me with great news. She had gotten out of her way of getting another makeup artist to assist her, pushing our start time to 10 am!!! If you are a bride, you understand! No one wants to wake up at 6 am on their wedding day! My entire party and I truly appreciated those extra hours of sleep. Thank you, Jen !!! And mind you, this was at no additional cost to me; Jen did this out of the kindness of her heart. Jen and the other makeup artist (Darlene) were excellent! They were punctual, professional, and extremely friendly. Jen's work is terrific. My girls all looked gorgeous! Jen herself did my makeup (bride). I did not have any specific look or makeup inspo. All I knew was that I wanted Jen to do my makeup. I trusted her from the moment I booked her. As a bride, we have a lot of things to worry about, but makeup was not one of them. I knew I was in great hands! As far as my makeup, I have no words to describe how beautiful Jen made me feel. When she revealed the look, I almost cried! I was overcome with emotions. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing! She indeed turned me into the most beautiful bride !!! At that point, all worries about looking my best, we’re gone! I couldn’t wait for my husband to be to see me! Ughh, I can spend the whole day writing about the wonderful experience I had with Jen, but I don’t want to bore you. Long story short, after a very eventful long hot summer day (crying, shooting, dancing), our makeup was intact! It looked as fresh as it did in the morning. My bridesmaids were so happy and still talk about how beautiful they looked even after all the dancing! Overall I am so happy I came across Jen's Instagram page and booked her as my makeup artist. My day would not have been the same without her. Thank you, Jen, for such a beautiful experience!!

What an incredible experience having Jen do my wedding makeup. She is so professional and talented. She comes with the most positive attitude and brightest energy which made me so confident and eased my stress. Jen is extremely thorough. From the moment of inquiry to the day of the event the process was smooth and detailed. Jen answered all my questions between the different packages she offers and even emailed me pictures for examples. She created an itinerary so I knew exactly how my morning would play out and she also asked for pictures of ourselves and our dresses so she could be prepared with some makeup looks. I fully trusted Jen to create an amazing makeup look and that is exactly what she did. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I received compliments all night! Jen also did my sister and mother in laws makeup and everyone looked beautiful. My wedding was on a hot summer day and our makeup lasted the whole night. If I can give Jen more than 5 stars I would. To say she is the best is an understatement and there are literally no words to explain how amazing and talented she is. The entire process from initial booking up to the wedding day was extremely seamless and so easy. She's super professional, on top of her stuff, responds quickly, and knows exactly what she's doing. She truly enjoys what she does and it clearly shows in her work and how she handles her clients. She did my makeup along with my mother, maid of honor and bridesmaid. I honestly felt like she was part of the family because how well she interacts with everyone. She's super pleasant and a sweetheart. It was about 96 degrees the day of the wedding and our makeup LASTED. From being outside for the ceremony, through so much crying (happy tears) and dancing nonstop. It lasted all night.
