This was the BEST tasting and BEST PRICED CAKE in all of the Austin area. Maria was a gem to work with and she executed the cake exactly what we asked for. Do not pass up her cake tasting -- she gives you full sized slices. Her cakes were the ONLY ones we continued to eat for days later. It was THAT. GOOD. We got the white cake with raspberry filling on top layer, chocolate cake with strawberry filling on bottom, which a sheer white buttercream frosting and chocolate ganache dripping down the tiers, with fresh berries on the ledges and top. DREAM CAKE, PEOPLE! Get some!!

Unfortunately, we had a very, very poor experience trying to request a cake from Mandola’s for our wedding. Our coordinator, as well as each of us, bride & groom, reached out to the bakery on multiple occasions to get our cake booked. Our coordinator had discussed the details with the bakery, who then promised they would reach out to the groom for payment information the next business day — they did not. After many missed calls and voicemails, he finally got ahold of the bakery, only to be asked all of the same questions we already answered (cake details) on two separate occasions. This went on for over a month until we insisted we get a refund for the cake payment and delivery fee. Unfortunately, they did not compromise with us on this and only offered the return of the $200 delivery fee in gift cards to their restaurant, instead of retuning the funds to the original payment method. I highly recommend going elsewhere for your wedding cake needs in the Austin area, because it’s obvious there’s a huge breech in communications and operations in the bakery department.

Maria was very helpful and reassuring to us in the process of deciding on our cake. She helped us achieve the price we needed without sacrificing any details of what we wanted. She produced such as classy and elegant cake that everyone at the rehearsal commented on how tasty it was! Every meeting with her made us feel at home and she even offered to make us our cake topper again at our anniversary for free! Great quality at a steal price!

Maria is an amazing baker and so kind and absolutely wonderful to work with! We used her for my wedding as well as my sisters! She truly embraced the themes of our weddings and I would recommend her in a heartbeat! Mandola's Italian provided our wedding cake on very short notice, and they were incredibly helpful and kind. The cake was delicious and beautiful, exactly what we wanted. Many reception guests sought a second serving and told us how much they loved the cake. We highly recommend Mandola's for wedding cakes!

We ordered our wedding cake from Mandola's and boy are we glad we did! Maria was great to work with and she was very flexible with our requests. Our cake looked SOOO gorgeous and was exactly what I had dreamed of. We ordered a 4 tier cake (3 tiers Italian cream and 1 chocolate) and it tasted amazing! We highly recommend Mandola's for your wedding cake!!!

We are so happy that we got our wedding cake from Mandola's. Many people do not know that they do wedding cakes, but we had seen an online review, and loving the restaurant wanted to see if they could meet our needs. Maria, the manager in charge of the cakes was so kind and advised us about our selection. We had 4 guests who cannot eat gluten and Maria even threw in a small chocolate almond cake free of charge for those guests. Both cakes were delicious, beautiful, and arrived on time in perfect condition. You'll not go wrong if you get your cake here!

I recently got married and had Mandola's Catering do our wedding cakes - bride and groom's cake. My favorite cake is classic Italian Cream and my husband is a chocolate lover! So Mandola's Catering made both of our cakes, and I cannot tell you how amazing these cakes were. The cakes arrived on time, were stunning to look at, and tasted better than any wedding or groom's cake I've ever had! We received dozens of compliments on how moist and delicious the cakes were. And my husband's cake had a Republic of Texas seal on it, and Mandola's Catering did a PERFECT job! Our cakes were truly the best part of our wedding day! I can't say enough good things about this place for wedding cakes. As well, the cakes were affordable and the service was impeccable! Great job all around!
