ATTENION BRIDES: We had Mark Allens cater our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made. Ann (the owner and main contact) is wonderful – she’s friendly and warm and is very prompt answering emails or questions or calls. On a personal note, Ann was kind and understanding when we had to move our wedding date back a year due to COVID…you will not be just a number when you are their client, they treat you like family. For our initial tasting, they did not skimp out on serving sizes and everything was DELICIOUS. For our wedding, the staff was attentive and friendly and the food was just as excellent as our tasting – warm, delicious and consistent. I highly recommend getting the salad with balsamic vinaigrette, the chicken stuffed with bacon, swiss and mushrooms and their chocolate covered strawberries!

Mark Allen’s catered an amazing brunch for our daughter's wedding reception held at The Barn at Hornbaker’s. The food not only tasted amazing, but it was also presented so beautifully. The owners of Mark Allen’s are the perfect dynamic duo. Ann creates the best menu imaginable and cares for her clients with kindness, humor, and professionalism. She is an artist in her own right: immensely creative in visual arts and likewise with her menus and food presentation. Mark is an incredible chef. The brunch he prepared was the best I’ve had. Our guests commented on it over and over. If you are looking for a caterer that is guaranteed to make your event a success, hire Mark Allen’s American Kitchen!

This food was FANTASTIC! Our guests could not stop raving about how delicious it all was - especially the chicken and waffles! We did a "Wedding Ball"-style wedding; MarkAllen served gourmet hors d'oeuvre style foods all night. Our guests had more than enough to eat. The coordinator, Ann, was so very helpful and wonderful to work with. Our initial tasting session with her was not only delicious but very thought out and above what we expected - she made it a wonderful experience. Love her and love all of the staff that helped during our day!

From start to finish my experience with MarkAllen’s was amazing! Ann was absolutely wonderful to work with and was also flexible! Ann made the tasting very accommodating and the food on my wedding day tasted just as good, if not better! My guests keep saying how delicious the carved roast beef and horseradish sauce was!
