Mary Me Bridal hands down provided me the best experience I could have ever hoped for.
Stephanie Odom, thank you from the bottom of my heart for making exploring styles and trying on dresses for the first time in my life such a positive and joyful experience.
My mom and I went into the store on a Monday and you were so welcoming. We tried on dresses in several styles so I could get a feel for what I liked. Quite incredibly several were contenders (disclaimer, actual dress I said yes to not pictured).
Leaving Monday I felt super optimistic and we planned to come back to work with you on Thursday with my mom, future mother in love and friends. I went home Monday and proceeded to look on your website and took pictures of additional gowns I wanted to try on for Thursday.
Fast forward Thursday, you had SEVERAL of those new dresses already pulled aside. You listened, observed and knew where my mind was going on style and fit. Above and beyond to come in and that you'd already prepared some other options.
Wild to say but all the incredible selections I tried on, on Monday were compounded by 3 additional top contenders on Thursday when I said "yes to the dress".
The turnaround time for our wedding is less than 6 months. I value Stephanie's intentionality as we explored my options and trying on things that were either in stock or could be made in time or rush made in time. Expectations were set so I wasn't put in a position where I was trying on dresses that realistically wouldn't be avaliable. SO THANK YOU!
The value of your time and attention, not to mention the variety of designs you had made shopping within my budget a breeze. The service we received as well as the price point of the dresses were all reasonable and really make MMB a place for anyone.
To anyone looking to at bridal gowns or bridal party dresses, look no further than Mary Me Bridal and Stephanie! THANK YOU!
Super friendly service! This was the second bridal shop I went to. I ended up buying my dress (L'amour Calla Blanche Shakira) and veil from here. Everything was easy and went to plan. They even let me borrow a veil (when mine wasn't ready yet) for my HMU trial. Love how my dress turned out! I had my dress tailored with Darya (https://www.yelp.com/biz/daryas-bridal-and-formal-dress-alterations-irvine?uid=Q0OS8RELRs6fRNLduaB1lQ&utm_campaign=www_business_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct)). Would highly recommend!
To all my future brides, believe me, do NOT go here. I never leave reviews, no matter how good or bad the service is, but to help a future bride not mess up the most important day of her life, it’s worth it.
This store will make mistakes and not do anything to fix it and will lie to you over and over again.
When I first got my dress, Kathy was nice but really pushy. Fortunately, I loved the dress I picked so I let this go.
When I told the ladies how another shop quoted me over $800 for basic alterations, they lied and said their seamstress was much more affordable. Their seamstress quoted me over $900. I also let this go.
THE LAST STRAW: when I first ordered my dress, Kathy and Susan were helping me and they knew exactly how I NEEDED lace long sleeves on my dress and how that was the only thing I cared for. They pushed me into buying a spaghetti strap dress claiming they can order me the exact lace needed to make the sleeves. They said it would take months before I got the lace but it should be fine. The lace came in time(1 month before my wedding) but when I opened the package, there was not nearly enough lace to make even one full, long sleeve. I told Susan how this was a problem because they should’ve checked how much lace was in the package and they knew how much lace was needed to make my vision come to life. She the lied saying she would do her best to find me alternative lace in their store and give me a call within the next day or two. Days go by and it’s radio silence. I call the shop to which Sue answers and also lies saying she will find lace that day and call me later as they don’t close til 5pm. I go to call at 3:30 and there’s no answer because they close at 3.
I now spent $70 on barely enough lace to even make one sleeve with and I’m probably going to have to pay more money to last minute hope I can find some lace to salvage the sleeves I wanted so badly on my wedding dress.
So I’m telling you, brides, do NOT come here unless you want to gamble very important parts of what’s supposed to be the one dress that makes you feel so beautiful on the best day of your life. And get ripped off and lied to in the process.
I was positively enamored with the experience at Mary Me and particularly my consultant, Faith! She was so kind and patient, selected fantastic dresses all well within my budget (and gently steered me away from those that were above my budget), and made the entire experience so much FUN! This was honestly the first time I’d actually enjoyed myself at a bridal salon. Thank you so much to Faith and the team at Mary Me!
I had such a wonderful experience. Susan is amazing and you can tell that she has experience. She's very friendly, kind, helpful, and just an all around beautiful person. The shop has so many dresses. Everything is clean and tidy. The staff are look and are very professional. I don't see how they can be anything below a 5 star. Thank you Susan and Marry Me Bridal for making my experience a dream come true :)
Thus, this LOOKBOOK COLLABORATION is so perfect and reliable for all the new individual’s but there are also very fantastic and authentic shadi collection dress available to having from them very kindly.

YOU ARE BETTER OFF GETTING YOUR DRESS AT DAVIDS BRIDAL! I don't want anyone to go through what I went through!
I wish I would have never gone to Mary Me Bridal, this has been the worst experience of my life! Getting married is supposed to be one of the most exciting times of your life, and finding your wedding dress just as exciting.
I first went to Mary Me Bridal and tried on only 3 dresses and found one I absolutely loved. I ordered my dress ONE YEAR prior to my wedding. The store confirmed that the designer can make my dress in a lighter ivory color.
Fast forward to 6 months later, my dress arrived IN THE WRONG COLOR due to a miscommunication between Mary Me Bridal and the designer Calla Blanche. They assured me they would re-order a new dress is the correct color and would try to rush it due to the first mistake.
Fast forward to 4 months later (now less than 3 months to my wedding) and the second dress arrived COMPLETELY WRONG AGAIN.
They did not have any explanation except that the color I requested was discontinued 2 years ago which proves a huge lack in communication once again. What's even worse, is that I had to be the one to continually reach out for an update on my dress. They reassured me that everything was on schedule and would be correct the second time around. They seemed callous and not caring about the MASSIVE MISTAKE. The lady that helped me from day one did not even come back out on the floor after realizing the dress was made incorrectly again.
I walked out hysterical, with no wedding dress, no guidance toward any kind of solution, and to top it all off, they needed "APPROVAL" to give us a refund!
With less then three months until my wedding, I was left scrambling to find another dress store that could accommodate a last minute request. Remember I started this journey one year before my wedding!
Please save yourself the anxiety, stress and heart ache and do not come here!!!!
*I WOUND UP GOING TO JACLYNS BRIDAL IN COSTA MESA IMMEDIATELY AFTER LEAVING THIS HORRIBLE PLACE AND THE OWNER MINDY WAS AMAZING! SHE HELPED ME LAST MINUTE FIND A BEAUTIFUL DRESS THAT I WILL HAVE IN TIME FOR MY WEDDING! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING THERE FIRST.
The ladies at Mary Me Bridal are fantastic. I bought the dress of my dreams and they were so friendly through the whole process. I made a few changes to the dress and they were able to see where I was coming from and brought my views to reality while keeping me calm. They ladies were supportive and made me feel beautiful.
My consultant Sue was awesome! She accommodated my very large party and made the wedding dress shopping so easy! They have extensive choices and stick to your budget! All the ladies in there are so sweet and make you feel so special on your day. Definitely recommend!
Mary Me Bridal was fantastic! It was easy to get an appointment, and I went with my mom and two bridesmaids. They had a huge selection, and had a great number of dresses in the style and price range I was looking for. I ended up buying a sample at my first appointment, and my guests couldn't stop complimenting me. They showed me the most amazing veil, which went perfectly with my dress. My dress originally had cocktail length lining with full-length lace overlay, which I was not interest in, but I loved the fit and the lace was gorgeous. Mary Me offered to extend the lining to be floor length as well, and it was fantastic. I used their in-house alterations for that change as well as taking the dress in, and I was so happy with the result. I highly recommend them.
I recently went in to try on dresses and did not have a good experience. I made an appointment weeks in advance for a Saturday and when I received no confirmation of my appointment like I had at another salon, I called to make sure I still had an appointment a couple days before and they told me that they had just been busy and didn’t have time to respond. They asked no questions before about what my price point was or what I was looking for so when I got there my consultant seemed very flustered. She did not pull me anything that was in my price point, everything was at least $700 over and did not seem engaged in our appointment. They seemed to have a wide selection but without the help of a consultant it was hard to find exactly what I was looking for.
I went into this shop as a spur the moment trip while my mom was on her lunch break. I ended up buying my wedding dress that day!! Mary Me Bridal had so many dress options, I ended up picking 7 dresses right from the get go. Then I saw a dress on a mannequin that was GORGEOUS. I tried it on and my mom and aunt cried when I walked out. It was everything that I was looking for!! I tried on two more dresses after but I couldn’t stop thinking about the gorgeous dress that I had already tried on. I put the dress back on and knew that it was the one! I’m so happy with my decision! And I had the best bridal consultant by the name of Megan. Out of all the bridal shops I went to, she was my favorite consultant. She was so sweet and nice and so so helpful!
The service at Mary Me Bridal was outstanding and Jocelyn was so awesome!! Before I even went in I sent Jocelyn photos of the style of dress that I wanted and she was so accommodating she pulled as many dresses that fit that description. This way, when I went in with my sisters and mother, we could hit the ground running and not waste our time trying on dresses that I wouldn’t like. As I was walking with Jocelyn to my dressing room she noticed that a particular dress caught my eye. It was a dress I would never normally wear (it was a 2-piece and nothing like the dresses I had her pull) but it was GORGEOUS. She asked if I would ever wear something like that, and I said I didn’t know. Without hesitation she grabbed it and said, “You’re trying it on! I see the way you are looking at it!” Well, that was the dress I ended up purchasing! I fell in love the second it was on (it is true what they say- if it’s “the one” you know it instantly). Had Jocelyn not said anything, I wouldn’t have had the courage to grab it myself and let me tell you- that dress was the talk of my whole wedding. I received compliments CONSTANTLY and I felt gorgeous in it. Jocelyn was so sweet and honest (which I appreciate) and I owe my entire dress experience to her! Thank you so much, Jocelyn! On another note, Susan was exceptional as well. I went in to pick up my dress on a day Jocelyn wasn’t there and I wanted to look at veils and Susan was so helpful in that she helped me narrow down a style I loved. I didn’t buy the veil from Mary Me Bridal because I got a really good deal through my cousin elsewhere, but I would have definitely gone back to purchase from there.
Thank you to everyone at Mary Me Bridal!
Well I didn't find my dress here but Mary Me Bridal was amazing! Excellent atmosphere, customer service, selection, and experience! I brought 5 people with me to try on dresses and we were given a somewhat private room where they offered my guests water and champagne while I was trying on a million dresses. The consultant was awesome - super friendly, helpful, personable, and not pushy at all. I would recommend every bride to go to Mary Me Bridal first to look for their dress for that big day!
Amanda was amazing! It was so surreal to go look at dresses and she just made it so easy and effortless! The gown I bought was all because of her, choosing the most perfect veil... SOLD! Mary Me Bridal had so many options to choose from and Amanda made sure I stayed within my budget. She was informative and knowledgeable and definitely made dress shopping a wonderful experience!
I bought my wedding dress from Mary Me Bridal in February 2015 for my September 2015 wedding. I have difficulty in making decisions, especially when it came to picking my wedding dress. After being told by my matron of honor not to look anywhere else (I had already been to 5 or so salons), my mom and I came here one night after work. Since it was a Tuesday night, there weren’t many people there, which was a nice difference than salons on weekends. With Sharon’s help, I found my dress. It was beautiful and perfect. I bought my dress in February and it came in mid-Aug for my early September wedding. I was a little nervous about getting the alterations done in time but they assured me they would work with my timing. They did. I came in 1 week or so after it arrived and they did my alterations in 1 week. They also kept the dress there until a few days before the big day. They have in house alterations which is nice. I knocked off one star only because I wasn’t really informed the cost of adding a corset to my dress prior to buying. It ended up being pricey (and totally worth it) but I wish I had a little more advance notice than a few weeks before the wedding when everything is coming due at once.
My mother and I went to bridal expo, and walking around it started to seem like it was going to be a bust. Then, we walked by Mary Me Bridals booth. We made an appointment for the following week. Making the appointment we thought it would be a good place to start dress shopping. Boy were we wrong. It took one trip and a handful of dresses, and I found my dress. The salon is very cute inside and have a very good selection of dresses. I had a good idea of what I wanted (lace and fitted). We found the dress in just over an hour. I was so relieved. I knew if I tried on too many I would get confused. So I'm glad I found it early. When we went bridesmaids dress shopping we went to a few different places. Then, we came back to Mary Me. And we found the bridesmaids dresses. They do alterations there and they are also amazing. If you buy your dress here don't bother taking it to another place to be altered. I tried my dress on the first time and it needed to be taken in. I came in 6 days before the wedding and I was hoping that it would be my last fitting, but unfortunately it wasn't. I put the dress back on and everything fit, but not in the butt area. I have a badonkadonk! It made it a little hard to sit down (it was a mermaid style dress). This should have been the time that I started to freak out, but they reassured me its not a big deal. I wish I could remember her name (I think she is one of the main alteration ladies). She was so calm, nothing was phasing her and that made me calm. I was so thankful that she kept me calm. She said we'll take the sides back out a little and it will be ready by Thursday (it was Tuesday). We went back Thursday. I put the dress back on and it was perfect. Mary Me has a great bridal selection, bridesmaids selection, great customer service, and great alterations. Definitely, stop in to take a look.
Mary Me Bridal was the first salon we went to to find my dress. We went to many others but the dress of my dreams was at this salon. Sue was very helpful in calming my nerves when trying on all the different styles. She was also very good at picking out styles that I would like best! The shop was very accommodating to the fact that we lived out of state and made sure that I would get a fitting or two in before the big day. They do alterations in-house and also offer accessories, we purchased my view with them as well. My dress fit like a dream and I felt wonderful the day of our wedding!
If you only have time to look on weekends get an appointment. Saturdays are crowded, especially when there's a trunk show. I would also suggest going first thing in the morning because dress shopping can be tiring and at least you'll have the most energy at the time.
Mary Me Bridal has a huge selection of gorgeous gowns and my consultant was excellent in helping me find my perfect gown. It wasn't in the color that I wanted but when she slipped the color from another dress under the lace on my gown it looked perfect and sold me on the dress!
Their alterations department is also excellent, but if you have the time I would suggest finding your own seamstress (that knows how to work with wedding dresses). Since I only had about a month before the wedding I used their in-house seamstress and was very pleased. The dress fit perfectly and looked absolutely stunning!
I LOVE my dress from Mary Me Bridal. I attended their sale and found an amazing dress off the rack that was in great shape. The price was great. The alterations were a little expensive but totally worth it. Everyone there was so happy and helpful - a truly positive experience!!
I would recommend Marry Me Bridal to any bride. The nicest consultants work there and it is a pressure-free salon. I had the pleasure of working with Sue, who's been in the industry for nearly 30 years. She was fantastic to work with, super helpful, genuine, and kind. When trying on dresses, I felt like I was spending time with an aunt. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and seemed to take a genuine interest in my love story.
The seamstress was also wonderful and reasonably priced, too. She made my dress fit beautifully.
Early on in my wedding dress search i checked out this store with my mother. Walking in the dresses were absolutely beautiful. I'm a size 16 so i was a little nervous i wouldn't be able to find anything but i had plenty of dresses to try on. I didn't get my dress at this location but if you want a wide variety i would definitely try this store however the prices are a little high.
I bought my wedding dress at Mary Me Bridal in April of 2014. It was a great experience and I was so happy with the result. They have a great service team and an impeccable selection. The only reason I gave four stars was because they seemed a little high priced on alterations or additions to the dress. Overall, I was very happy with my experience at Mary Me Bridal.
I can't say enough what top notch service Mary Me Bridal provided! Beautiful selection of gowns (varied in price) and many different styles to try. Maria was my consultant and she was such a sweetheart! It really is a low pressure boutique and the consultants really just want to help you find THE dress! Once Maria helped me find THE dress the alteration process was pleasant as well. They did a fabulous job and my dress fit beautifully. Thank you Maria and Mary Me Bridal!
Huge variety of dresses. Make an appointment and weekends are soooooo busy. I recommend going during the week especially if you want your trying on experience to be special and intimate.
The lady who helped me at Mary Me Bridal actually picked a dress that was $500 under my budget, and EXACTLY what I was looking for. I could not believe that. For once during this wedding process I felt like someone wasn't trying to upsale or upcharge me. Awesome!
My gown specialist was great. She highly encouraged me to try on several different styles until I found "the one." I went before Thanksgiving and tried on everything on the sales rack. I found a beautiful Pronovia dress 50%. A gorgeous gown that made me feel like a bridal. Cost was reasonable, thankfully I did not require alterations, bustle was $100 and dry cleaning another $200. I know of other boutiques being more expensive. Small place but with a lot of variety.
This is a cute shop and was where I got my dress. Overall only one of the approx 4 salespeople I was in contact with seemed to be excited to do what they do. The place was very dull and not what I think of when you hear "wedding dress shopping."
I found my dream dress at Mary Me Bridal, but I noticed that the fitting specialist I had (Stephanie) was not very friendly. It wasn't until I was really interested in the dress that she realized she would receive a large commission, and her attitude completely changed. I came in other times and worked with other fitting specialists that were MUCH nicer and more pleasant to work with.
Also the woman in charge of the alterations was very nice and her prices were reasonable.
I had originally emailed them asking if they had dresses in my low budget. They responded that they did so I made an appointment. I get into the store with my maid of honor and mom and was told that no they don't carry dresses under $1,000 (ouch and embarrassing...) She offered to show me some sample dresses in my price range, I figured I was already there so might as well. I ended up falling in love with the perfect dress for me and paid under $500!! Ending up being around $900 total after alterations and steaming. It was in perfect condition and was a perfect mix of exactly what I wanted. Don't be afraid to try sample dresses!! You can still find that beautiful designer gown at a fraction of the cost!! Such great sales people and alterations there made it easy! They even stored my dress for over 9 months!!
I loved my wedding dress and the staff here are amazing and friendly.
Great selection of dresses and the people who work there are great to work with.
This is the first place I went shopping. I wasn't ready to commit, so I shopped around. After visiting other places, I learned that this store was the best… hands down! I would have happily paid more for the same dress at this shop (although I didn't). Sue was my consultant and she was fabulous. She took her time and was focused on me.
Mary Me Bridal had a wide variety of dresses for most budgets. The staff is also very friendly.
I found the dress of my dreams! I worked with Susan. She was very sweet and brought selections that I had asked for and in my price range! It was first day looking at bridal gowns and it was the 5th dress I tried on. Right when I put it on, I knew it was the one!!! I walked out in the dress and my mom started crying! I knew I had found the right one! My gown did need alterations. I then worked with Edith. She was a miracle worker! She is the best! She had me come in several times to make sure I was happy with my gown! On my wedding day, my dress looked perfect & I felt stunning...just what I wanted!
I had my bridesmaids choose their dress from their large collection. I had my girls, pick their own style of dress but it had to be the same color and fabric. The various selection of the dresses looked beautiful on my wedding day! The girls and myself couldn't be happier!
I had a really fun time with my bridesmaids trying dresses on. They're really helpful and friendly.
My dress was absolutely beautiful and the price was very reasonable. The alterations were very expensive though but they did have to do quite a bit to it; take it in on both sides, sew in bra cups, hem the bottom, and create a bustle. Sue created a "sweetheart" neckline for free, but it took a lot to make that happen. When I went for my "FINAL" dress fitting, the sweetheart line had not yet been done (although Sue apologized profusely,) there were buttons that had popped off on the back that had not been fixed, and there was a seem that was supposed to be sewed into place that had not been. I had to go back for yet ANOTHER "final" fitting just days before the wedding. My mom lives in Hawaii and payed for the whole thing which they had to have her fill out an outdated email form for... I guess they haven't heard of paypal?? Otherwise I was pretty happy with the shop in general.
I had a great experience picking my dress here. My consultant really took the time with me to help me make my choice. My only issue with them was that they made several mistakes on services. I ordered my dress in Sept. and was told would be in around March. When I called to check in, they told me it wouldn't be in until March. Someone wrote the wrong date for the wedding and they couldn't locate my dress. Then, they wrote the wrong date for my fitting even after I confirmed.
Walking into Mary me bridal could be scary at first because they are so elegant inside and everything looks really expensive, but I like that they work with everyone's budget. It's beautiful inside and they have many top designers.. I choose a gown by Maggie Sottero and it was gorgeous.. The staff is great and really helpful, you definitely don't feel pressured to buy anything like in davids bridal! I had a great experience hope you ladies do as well :)
The head lady is grouchy, they messed up on 3 out of 6 bridesmaids dresses and then wanted us to pay more for the dresses we received but didn't order..... Only good thing was that had a huge selection.....
Mary Me Bridal had a very large selection. This was the 4th bridal salon I went to, and I found my dress! Out of the few I went to, they did not have as great of customer service and it was a bit smaller, but they had a large selection of beautiful dresses. I was surprised at the cost of alterations there, so I would recommend taking your dress elsewhere for alterations. Overall, I loved my dress and the price was very reasonable!
With the little time I had, we were able to find the dresses I wanted to try on and they even offered me a great deal on a beautiful cheaper dress but I already had my heart set on the first dress.
They offer coupons at bridal shows. Go and get one for 10% off! It is well worth your time to get 10% off your wedding dress!
A little unorganized when I called to follow up on my dress order. I was told different dates by different people. Some ladies who helped were a little rude but not enough to damper my experience. I’m a plus size gal so their section was limited to a small rack of A-line dress styles. Alterations weren’t as good as I was paying for in my mind. They were cheaper than a big name store that is for sure.
I went to several shops, but this one by far had the best service and made me feel special! I found the dress of my dreams, and it was something I never would have picked out on my own! It was unique and gorgeous and the prices are decent as well! I will definitely recommend this shop to any of my friends getting married!
I searched many places for my wedding dress, and I found the absolute PERFECT dress a Mary Me Bridal and I couldn't have been happier. It was a beatiful all lace dress that I got for under $1000 which is a great deal! The shop had many beauiful dresses, my only complaint is that the service was not as great as at some other shops I visited. The women who helped us were not exceptionally helpful, and didn't pump up our excitement at finding a dress, rather it felt like they simply were making the sale and wanted to get it over with. But I can't complain too much sinc I found the perfect dress!
I shopped for my dress at a lot of places and Mary Me Bridal was the best mix of quality and value. I found my dress (a Maggie Sottero) at two stores and Mary Me was able to match the price of the other store, which I was happy about because I liked the sales people better at Mary Me than at the other place. My bridal consultant was Sharron, who was very nice and very experienced. She was very helpful in helping us narrow down what we liked and didn't like about each dress until we got it down to the final two. Once we picked a dress, she was helpful in helping me choose a size (that fit perfectly, the only alteration I needed was a hem) and some accessories (slip, veil). She was very patient when we had to think a lot before making a decision. We returned to Mary Me for bridesmaid dresses and mother of the bride/groom dresses - you get 10% off if you bought your dress there. The sales girls on the bridesmaid side were not as experienced, their answers seemed unreliable, and they weren't very helpful. But we helped ourselves and when it was time to decide on sizes, we called Sharron over to help us decide (everyone's dresses fit fine - they just needed hems). Sharron also helped by making a lot of suggestions on picking a dress for my very pregnant bridesmaid (due 3 weeks after the wedding), who could not wear the same dress but chose one that would coordinate with the other girls. My only complaint about Mary Me is that the sales staff seem to be spread too thin. While they are helping you, they run off to help someone else with something quick, and this happened to us multiple times per visit and on every visit. I think they just need more staff. Overall, the experience was good and all our dresses looked great.
Mary Me Bridal was great. I was able to try on different styles of dresses and even those on sale and on clearance. They even have a whole section of the store devoted to sample sales. The bridal consultants were helpful and thoughtful. However, with a smaller budget, Mary Me Bridal tended to have selections from the higher end in price. I ended up trying out gowns at Mariposa because they have more selections within my budget.
LOVED LOVED LOVED this place. As with many 'other' dress shops, you need an appointment, you can only try on so many dresses etc but Mary Me Bridal is pretty laid back-you can just pop in and look (less so on Saturday of course) but the service is impeccable. One person in particular, Maria. She was fantastic!!
The alterations crew isn't so great, in my opinion. I didn't need any alterations for my dress but had an issue (a difference of opinion) with how my bustle would be done. In my opinion the individual was pretty rude about it.
After recommendation from a few friends, I went to Mary Me Bridal my wedding dress shopping. In Orange County, they definitely have the largest selection, so no need to go anywhere else. I showed them a photo of the dress I wanted, and they had it in the store! They also pulled a few more dresses that were similar in style. I ended up going with one of the other dresses they pulled for me, completely loved it! Also, got a sash to go with it there. Alterations were done in a timely manner, the woman who does the alternations is so nice! Best selection of dresses and great quality and prices.
Everyone at Mary Me Bridal was very nice. I went there as well as 5 other bridal stores and loved the variety and prices of Mary Me Bridal. I chose a Maggie Sottero fit and flare gown. Love it!! They called me as soon as the dress came in to schedule my dress fittings. They have such a great selection of dresses. Would definitely recommend going there to search for a dress.
I loved my Casablanca dress. It was beautiful and affordable (under $1000) The staff was nice and helpful. There is a wide selection of dresses and prices.
They DID lose my proof of payment, and then were pretty rude to me about it. They kept insisting I had to prove I purchased the dress when they were the ones who messed up. But other than that, everything else was great. They helped me pick out a dress I loved, I got it early with plenty of time to have it altered, and their prices were very reasonable.
This place gets some bad reviews and I can see that some of the staff members can have a bit of an attitude, but my experience here was great. I worked with Stephanie and she was the one who pulled the dress I chose from the styles I was looking at. My dress was the 3rd dress I tried on and I knew it was the one. They are full service and affordable altered my dress and everything was done beautifully and on time.
I had a great experience with the Mary Me Bridal Team. Prior to coming to this shop I went to David's Bridal and did not get the help and advice that I was seeking. She was too busy helping another bride to be.
When I came to Mary Me and got Karen, she picked up quickly on my style because I could not verbalize my style and what I was looking for. When she started to see what kind of dresses I was interested in, she started to select dresses that I would like. She was very attentive to my needs and a pleasure to work with. The staff was also very helpful and accomodating.
I couldn't be more happy with MaryMe Bridal, not only are the people there friendly but they also had the exact dress I was looking for that I originally found at another store who didn't have it.
Found my dream dress here and got the pleasure of wearing it last month. Some of the front desk staff is a little brash, but SUE is AMAZING. She was easy to talk to, listened to what I wanted, and found me the perfect dress. She also made sure i got what I wanted in alterations, as there was too much crinoline at the bottom of my dress, and another seamstress told me there was nothing they could do about it.... but Sue got it done :)
The ladies at this shop are so nice!! I found my dream dress here for under $1000. I altered it many times for the perfect fit. I even forgot my veil the day of the wedding at a house thirty minutes away from my venue and they loaned me one for free.
Mary Me Bridal has a lovely selection of gowns in every price range. I was very happy with the lace Casablanca gown that I ended up with. However, upon learning that my wedding was only 4 1/2 months away they were very condescending about having waited too long. Also, because I had waited I was told that I would need to pay a $150 rush fee to get the dress in on time. I agreed and purchased the gown. Three days later they called back and told me that I would have to pay an additional $120 to have the dress sent expedited rush. At this point I was in love with the dress and had already paid them for it so I had no choice but to spend the additional money. Seems a little shady to me. The alterations were also spendy at $400 but they were beautifully done and the dress was a perfect fit.
OMG, what can i say about my bridal boutique. I found the dress of my dreams and the staff was patient and amazing at helping find what I invisioned. The tailoring was immaculate. The dress literally fit me like a glove after the amazing alterations they made to it. Everyone said it fit perfect to my body. The dress and the veil made the Wedding. Outstanding service.
The staff at Mary Me Bridal was very friendly and helpful when it came to shopping and buying my wedding dress from here. They were very professional and were willing to help with anything that I needed. They did everything from alterations to steaming and pressing my dress for the big day!! My dress was absolutely beautiful on ou big day and I couldn't be more happier with choosing Mary Me Bridal as my Wedding dress shop
I went to 3 different dress shops before going to Mary Me Bridal and did not experience that "this is it" moment with any of the dresses that I tried on. I saw a Mary Me representative at a bridal show in Long Beach and was given a 15% off coupon for booking an appointment on the spot. I am so happy that I did so because, not only did I find the dress of my dreams, I was able to by it with a percentage off!
I love my bridal gown that I got from Mary Me Bridal...I looked like a princess. My sales lady gave me tons of dresses to try on and then when I thought I had made my mind, she brings another style that I might like just to make sure. She went above and beyond. The only thing was that alterations were soooo expensive. I ended up paying half of my dress for alterations...but I wouldn't trust to go elsewhere, everything fitted perfectly in the end.
This dress shop was my first shop I went too since they carried the designer I was looking for. The lady who assisted me was very helpful and allowed me to pick out several dresses to look at and try on. However, it only took a my second dress to find the one of my dreams. I didn't buy it that day though and there was no pressure from them. Came back a week later and made the purchase. Excellent service, great alterations department, and amazing quality.
I loved the dress selection they had there. I chose a silk chiffon dress that looked beautiful. They have people that can add beading but to save money my mom added beads that made the dress unique and even more beautiful. They allowed my mom to pick it up, add beading and return for them to press. Good service except that after pressing they gave me the dress in a plastic bag rather than a garment bag but my mom only told me later that they had switched that out.
After going to David's bridal, I was depressed and thought I'd never find my dress. Luckily, I found Mary me Bridal from Theknot.com and they had the dress I wanted.
They do amazing alterations and the service is superb and they have much more selection than any other bridal store I went to.
I did tons of research on bridal salons and was impressed with what I read on the reviews so I made an appointment. Mary Me was the second bridal salon I went to and it was a drastic contrast to what I experienced before—not in a good way. When I walked in for my appointment, the receptionist was zoned out watching a bride across the room. We stood there for a solid 2 minutes before I finally said “I’m checking in for my appointment”. She just slaps a form on the desk and tells me to fill it out. No smile, not greeting, nothing. My consultant however, was super nice; you could tell she was sincere and trying to earn her commission. The rooms were stifling and stuffy; there was no where for my family (only 3 people) to sit while they waited to see the different dresses I tried on. The majority of the dresses were in a size 10 (6-8 in the “real” world) and sizes 12+ were considered plus size. The other bridal store I went to started at size 12 and went up so that you could be clamped in to really see the dress. They had a huge selection of dresses in a lot of styles and budgets, but I couldn’t really find anything that I was looking for. The dresses I pulled that were similar to the ones I liked at the other store (Castle for Brides) cost about 3 times as much! The consultant was trying so hard to be helpful giving me time alone with my family to talk about the dress I was trying on. You could tell she didn’t like the store or the owners (cheap hangers that broke under the weight of the dresses, the AC being non existent, the rude owners etc.), but was trying to find me my perfect dress so she could make the sale. She wasn’t pushy, but it seemed like once I bought my dress here, the good service would disappear and I would be at the mercy of the store. I trusted my instincts and went back to the original store I went to and bought my dress there. The only reason I would recommend anyone coming here is to find the dress style and look you want, but go to another store to buy your dress. Try Castle for Brides, they’re amazing!
Hope was my bridal consultant, and she was fabulous and extremely helpful! Mary Me Bridal has an array of dresses to chose from of all styles. My dress was the first one I tried on! I tried others on just to be sure, but it was the One! No hassle with them, and again, Hope was wonderful to work with!
This place is great and I got my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses here. Everything went smoothly, I had no complaints, found exactly the dresses I wanted. The staff are super nice and helpful. It's super busy on weekends so try to go during the week!
I choose this dress shop because a girlfriend of mine got her Maggie dress here. It was the only shop I went to and I bought the 4th dress I tried on. I went with a different dress in mind but my bridal consultant Stephanie Castro was wonderful and choose the dress that i ended up buying. She let me try on what i wanted and then gave me a dress that she thought would flatter my shape and she was right.
After a few months I called to check on my dress and the shop tole me that it would not be ready in time. I had a small bout of hyperventilation and then was called back within 15 minutes and told they were wrong and the dress would be on time. They got a star off for service for that one.
Edith, in tailoring is lovely and knows what she is doing. She has been there for years.
The shop is very unassuming. It is not huge and it was easy to make an appointment. It was also a huge plus that in the building across the way is a shop full of bridesmaid dresses and mother of the bride dresses and flower girl dresses. I went with a designer that they did not have but they have a ton of things to try on.
Great experience.
I went here originally because my first place I tried my dress on was over my budget - not only did Mary Me Bridal have my dress but they also had others very similar. Maria was my consultant & she was patient, understanding & with me every step of the way. I recommend shopping for your wedding dress here - they also have alterations on staff so everything is done in house. They even have bridesmaid shop attached. Perfect location & an ideal place for comfort & price!
This was the last Bridal Salon that I went to when I was looking for my gown. I called to make an appointment and the staff was very prompt and professional. The day of was a wonderful experience. They have a TON of gowns to choose from and you select which you like. This is a plus because all the gowns have the prices on them so you know what you are getting yourself into.
I knew I found my gown when the assosiate asked me how I felt in it and I did not want to take it off. Do allow at least 6 months for the gown to arrive. It arrived a few weeks before they had promised it so it was REAL nice. I had all the alterations done there and I couldn't be any happier.
This is the place to go for your wedding gown :) THANK YOU MMB :) for such a wonderful experience!
Love this place. We had Sharon and she is AWESOME!!! After a disappointing appointment elsewhere, we called and asked if they would take us that same day since we did a bit more research and found they had the exact dress I wanted to try on. They gladly took me and Sharon spent lots of time making sure I try on all sorts of dresses, even dresses I didn't think I'd like, just to see and develope and opinion. They must have measured me good cause I did not need one alteration, not even a hem! (That is RARE!) It's exactly what a dress shopping experience should be: you walk in and there is light hardwood floors and canned lighting - white dresses EVERYWHERE, floor-length mirrors with couches for your entourage. Veils of all lengths/with and without embellishments, shoes, tiaras, earrings, bracelettes, headpeices ... Best of all, I believe this place can accomidate any budget. It was probably a miracle but the dress I wanted and decided on was perfectly within my budget. If you are local to Orange you MUST check this place out! Thank you Sharon and Mary Me Bridal!
They have a great selection of dresses. Its kind of pricey but mine was on sale so it wasn't too expensive. I had to have it alter twice and there was a charge for each time. Sometimes the ladies there were kind of rude but overall it was a great place and I would recommend it to anyone.
Everyone loved my dress! I was recommended to this store by cousins and friends. Thanks to the patience & expertise of Susan, I was able to find my perfect dress! I know that I wanted lace since I wanted a classic look and she brought out the dresses that fit my body shape & budget. I immediately fell in love with one of the dresses from La Sposa. I had no problems with their service and the dress arrived when they said it would arrive & alterations were done immediately. They have great dresses to choose from and the pricing was unbelievable.
big selection of dresses
Buying your wedding dress is a HUGE deal. So, needless to say, I read tons of reviews of Mary Me before I ended up purchasing my dress here. I was honestly a bit worried, but I fell in love with my dress and couldn’t find it anywhere else. Therefore – Mary Me it was!
Going back a little bit here, Mary Me was the second of three bridal shops I seriously visited (Ferndale’s and Mariposa being the others.) I did go to David’s Bridal and to Mon Amie, too, but for various reasons – those weren’t for me.
The first time I visited Mary Me – it was December 2009 – I didn’t have an appointment. I’m the type of person that just likes to browse – if I need your help – I will find you. Just let me be, and I’ll get things done my way.
Sharon was completely fine with just letting me walk around and do my thing with my mum. I found somewhere in the vicinity of 10 dresses that I wanted to try on, and when I was ready, she helped me. She wasn’t pushy or demanding – just the right about of attentiveness, offering the nice comment here and there.
We went through the process of trying on about three quarters of the dresses – and then I tried it on – THE DRESS that would become my wedding dress. It was PHENEMONIAL. Fit me like a glove and had everything I wanted – delicate beadwork on the dress (not on an applique), an A-line skirt, and a train with beadwork. If you’re going to have all that material – there’s going to be something on it, that’s for sure!
I had originally ordered the dress with extra material, as I wanted to add three pick-ups to the dress.
Fast forward a bit…. My dress came in about 6 – 7 months later. I was living in the UK at the time, so I wasn’t able to rush over to see it. In August 2011, I had my first fitting. It was at this time that I decided – nope – I don’t want to add or change anything about this dress. It was made this way for a reason, and it’s perfect. I don’t want to change it at all. This means… the extra 18” of fabric that we paid extra for was going to need to be altered and taken off. I had read reviews again of Mary Me’s alterations and was again – a bit petrified. This is my dress. I don’t want anyone messing it up! I suppose it was even all the more frustrating since I wasn’t living in the area, and I couldn’t try it on again for several more months.
December 2011 rolls around and guess what – time for another fitting! I tried my dress on and – ta da! IT WAS PERFECT. The beadwork was still intact – and once you see pictures of my dress – you will see why I was worried. But no, there was no need to be worried because it was great. I am so pleased with the alterations that were done.
There were a few small spots that needed a bit of touching up, but they added a few more pins to have them fixed.
Fast forward again to August 2011 – my final fitting before our August 27 wedding. Dress was still wonderful. The woman (I can’t remember her name) who helped me that day was great in giving us tips on how to get into the dress on the day, etc. There were two small spots that needed touching up with alterations.
When I picked my dress up on August 25 – all steamed and ready for the wedding – everything was perfect. My dress was absolutely amazing and I am so grateful for Mary Me’s staff and their alterations team for my experience. I am honestly still so happy! (I received and still am receiving tons of compliments on the dress. It is really, truly, magical!)
Went in with a clear mindset of the type of dress i wanted. My step mother had a different idea. The consultant was able to find a perfect dress in the middle. It was perfect!
I started at Alfred Angelo and I had the worst appointment EVER! The staff was rude and didnt listen to anything I was asking for ... the next day I went to Mary Me and found my dress! The staff was amazing they were extremely accomodating and even passed up on a larger commission ($3,000) to give me a true opinion! I would suggest this shop to all of my friends and for anyone who is looking for their dream dress.
I walked into the store and was made to feel very important right away. Sue let me look through the dresses, but was pulling dresses that she thought were important for me to try. I was worried that I wouldn't find what I wanted in my price range, but it ended up not being a problem at all! I told her my vision and she ended up bringing three dresses that were perfect. I tried them all on, and the last one made my mom and I cry. I have never felt so beautiful! Sue was just as happy and helped me complete my look; her suggestions were perfect. I was in such good hands! I am so excited to wear my dress, my beautiful veil, and tiara on my wedding day!
I found my dress here so am thankful, but the layout of the appointment was a little crazy, with lots of people in the shop and the follow up service was not the best. My appointment was with Sue and she was great.
I purchased my wedding dress here in September of 2010. I only had one dress shopping appointment and I ended up buying the first dress I put on-which was conincidentally the dress my consultant told me would be perfect for me and she was so right! The shop stayed open later than closing to accomodate my sale, which was lovely because we were able to order my headband and veil at the same time and see the entire look together before placing an order. The alterations also turned out great. I am extremely petite so my consultant directed me towards corseted gowns so as to keep the alterations costs down. I would also like to note that my consultant stayed within my budget 100%. I only tried one gown out of budget because I had a picture of it, but my consultant told me before trying it on what the price was. I would definitely recommend Mary Me Bridal based on the experience that I had there.
when I initially came in I worked with Susan and she helped me find the dress of my dreams. It was the victoriana by Maggie Sottero, her advice and comments were positive and much appreciated. the ONLY issue I had was when I came to pick up my dress the gal that helped me into it did not lace it up correctly and my chest was falling out. She told me that my breasts were too big for my gown and she didn't know why I picked it. I obviously started crying, the manager came over and brought Susan to me. Susan relaced the gown and showed my mom the tricks of the trade and on my wedding day it was perfect
