However, I was confused by the drinking policy. As a former bartender, I know a lemon drop is usually a 1.5-ounce pour. I was told I couldn’t get a beer alongside it due to a “2-ounce rule,” which didn’t match the standard pour I know. I was told to wait an hour or go elsewhere. It felt unnecessarily strict, especially since the pour size should have allowed it. Overall, still a lively place, but a little clarity—or flexibility—on the drink policy would go a long way!

The issue I have with the hotel is the price. Every other hotel/casino I went to have very reasonable prices and some even offering a free room. My husband and I were going to go to Rocky Gap (Awesome hotel and pretty good casino) but due to a...
car giveaway they were booked. So we started looking around. I looked at Live and their price for 1 night for 1 room after all the fees was $500. Now you would think that if I bring $1000 for the casino (which we always do) they would at the very least offer a discounted room. I don't ever drink and drive so my only option is to stay the night. Oh well, we will wait until next weekend to go to Rocky Gap (with those beautiful views of Lake Habeeb). I would rather spend the money at the casino than for a fee riddled room.
