Matt was on top of every detail for my wedding! He stayed in communication with me, asked the right questions and was patient. At my wedding he knew exactly his vision and every shot he wanted to get, coupled with a kind, calm and approachable demeanor. My pictures turned out phenomenal and I can’t recommend him enough! I did a destination wedding and did not know any of the vendors that I hired but I was soo lucky to connect with Matt! All of my vendors turned out to be wonderful! If you are looking for a great photographer and a great experience Matt is your guy!

Matt and Amy were an absolute pleasure to work with! We were lucky enough to win an engagement session with Matt in March and knew after that we wanted him to shoot our wedding. I really don’t think that there are words for how INCREDIBLE Matt and his crew are. We got our engagement and wedding photos done by him and had such a fun time doing it. Both of us are a little camera shy but he makes it fun and enjoyable even when you’re posing. Everything came so naturally. Wedding days are stressful by themselves but wow was Matt and his assistant great. Making sure we drank and ate during the day, kept to a timeline, and got to enjoy the day. They were great in the process of getting the photos but man, the final results were more than worth any amount. The finished products are beautiful and incredible moments that were important to us were captured. I cannot recommend Matt enough. Fifteen thumbs up and so many thanks!!!

It was an easy choice to book Matt. From our first meeting, we knew Matt was the best. Matt took all of the worry out of our minds because we knew he'd get the best shots. Matt took time throughout our planning to listen to our concerns and answer all of his questions. I love photographs and can't believe how many incredible shots we have to choose from...if only I had more wall space to display them all. Throughout our wedding day we never felt nervous with our photos. Matt and his staff went above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were met while taking so many amazing photos. Matt and Amy were incredibly professional yet very fun people to work with. They photographed our winter wedding in January of 2023. I knew I wanted Matt as my wedding photographer before I even met my now husband! I found him on Facebook and fell in love with a sunset shot he had done for a couple and wanted that same happiness in my pictures. When my husband proposed the first place I went was to Matt and Amy to secure our date and make sure that they were available. They are simply the best people for the job. Whenever I had questions or concerns, they were always there to answer them and put my mind at ease. Day of wedding, we had rain bit Matt and Amy gave me amazing pictures that we could not be more happy with. Matt and Amy are two of the BEST people we have ever met! They are super professional, funny , sweet and have the best vibes. my husband and I were super relaxed the day of our wedding and they are one of the biggest reasons we stayed that way all day. They are always on time and prepared for everything. They kept us on time all day, wrangled all the families and made sure we got every single picture we would ever want and then some. Matt and Amy made all the wedding planning so much easier and fun. Through the COVID-19 pandemic, we had experienced a lot of challenges. From canceling to rescheduling to rescheduling again, they have been very accommodating. Amy responds quickly to emails and has really great suggestions as far as vendors, engagement shoots and wedding venues. Matt is fantastic at making sure we pose naturally and have fun during the shoot. All our pictures came out amazing! They are just wonderful people and easy to work it. From the moment we met Matt my fiancee and I knew we would pick him as our photographer. Matt is the nicest guy and is very talented at what he does. He picked some random leaves and twigs and then piled them together and came up with a beautiful photo of my Fiancee's engagement ring! 5 stars is not enough to show how much we loved Matt Blasing photography. We booked them a year and a half before our event because we KNEW we wanted them! Their work is incredible. We actually even added on our engagement session because we knew they would be great and we wanted to get to know them more and vice versa. I was blown away by the shots they captured for our engagement session, and even more impressed with how quickly they got our prints back to us. Our wedding wouldn’t have been possible without them! Not only are Matt and Amy an amazing team of photographers but they go above and beyond to make your day special! When we started planning our wedding after our 9/1/2019 engagement, everything seemed to be smooth sailing toward our dream wedding a year later. We booked Matt to be our wedding photographer and had our engagement shoot with him in January. We started our engagement shoot at home, where Matt snapped some of the best pictures of my cats I’ve ever seen and snapped a beautiful detail shot of my ring with my peridot bomb and sowbelly agate slab (I’m a collector and those 2 pieces mean a lot to me). From there we journeyed up to the foothills for some sunset shots with the mountains. We basically done when Matt mentioned we hadn’t gotten a photo with a blanket we had brought. Matt made sure we got our cute and cozy, bundled up in a blanket photos that we had forgotten and almost walked away from. I was blown away by our photos and couldn’t wait until the wedding. Then COVID hit and all our wedding planning was put on hold. We hoped our 2020 wedding was still on the table but as the months went on it became clear the wedding we wanted just couldn’t happen this year. Matt and Amy were always quick to respond, to answer my questions, and to listen to my vent. They both helped us feel less alone while trying to navigate the tumultuous world of wedding planning during a pandemic. Then when we finally pulled the plug and postponed, Matt and Amy were there with their support. We had our “change the date” session a few days ago and once again I’ve been blown away with the amazing photos Matt captured. We had our session at the Botanical Gardens, a favorite spot of mine, while I struggled to think of good places to pose, Matt already had the best spots in mind, while also accommodating me randomly pointing at things and asking “what about there?” and rambling on about how the fish remind me of Animal Crossing. In such an uncertain and anxious time, we got to laugh and smile and now have the photos to prove it. We have over a year until our new wedding date and I can’t wait to work with Matt and Amy again. I knew from the first moment I met Matt and Amy that we had to book them and as soon as they met my fiancé, he loved them just as much. We’ve only done our engagement pictures so far, but every single time I have a question, they’re willing to help, whether it’s about booking other vendors, what to wear, when to do things (and to remind me that I still have 9 months to go and I have plenty of time to plan). They’re the greatest and I can’t wait to see what magic they work with our big day! Update: Choosing Matt and Amy to photograph our wedding was the easiest and best decision we made through the whole 3 year process. We booked them first thing after we got engaged and they hung with us through two different postponements (thanks COVID) and became friends rather than just photographers. My husband hates taking pictures and they even made him feel comfortable through 3 different sessions (including the big day), so they clearly can work miracles too. Out of 1500+ pictures, I can’t find a single one that I don’t absolutely ADORE. Not only did they capture every single moment perfectly, they helped keep everything running smoothly and kept track of our friends and family, so I didn’t have to. Never mind the QUICK turnaround despite having shot multiple weddings the same weekend as ours. I will NEVER hesitate booking them again for any and everything. We love you guys! PS. Have you ever met someone and felt like they were a part of your tribe right away? That’s Matt and Amy. They photographed my sister’s wedding and when I saw them again for ours, I could put my shoulders down. In a time where we couldn’t unite and celebrate with our families and friends, The Blasings created an environment that made our ceremony feel like home. With one chance to create the memories of our special day, I wouldn’t change a thing. Also- the photos were beyond what I could have imagined. Matt really saw the potential in a stormy sky and he created the most beautiful images. I’m pretty sure he was actually sitting on a cactus at one point (see what I did there?) to snap the perfect photo of us near the mountains. We were laughing and celebrating the whole time. We got married a year ago today. I sit here and look back to this day and am filled with so much love and happiness. If it weren’t for our fabulous photos, I wouldn’t be able to re-live this day like I am. Matt and Amy were great! Worked well as a team and captured the day from the beginning to the end. I have never been married and I am not great posing for the camera so I had no idea what I was doing! But, Amy was there to help me and made sure I looked my best before Matt snapped the perfect shots. Wedding Update: We first met Matt in November 2019 for our engagement session. We instantly hit it off with him, bonding over our love of NM United soccer! First of all, we want to thank Matt and Amy for all their great work, effort, and patience in making our wedding photos so memorable! They were so nice and they made us feel comfortable, as if we were family. Somehow they made non-photogenic people, photogenic!!! Our wedding photos were more than we could have imagined and choosing Matt & Amy to capture our Day was simply the best decision! In the two weeks since our Ceremony, we tried narrowing down our 250+ ABSOLUTELY STUNNING photos to 5 or 6 for framing. Eventually, it came down to a family poll! (If I could've had it my way, there would simply be 250+ photos adorning our walls!) We had a short Wedding Ceremony in the Botanical Gardens followed by an afternoon photo session by the Bosque. Matt was great at putting us at ease throughout the shoots and doing whatever he could to get the magical shot. More than once, we found him hunkered behind a tree, lifting his arms high above his head, or stretched out on the ground to get the perfect photo. And our pictures are worth 1,000 words! He took photos from nearly every angle, yet I don't really recall seeing him snapping away. Matt was very knowledgeable about lighting--using several lenses to create depth--and body positioning that photographed well and looked natural. Matt focused on details like the sunlight flittering on our rings and the textures on our clothes, which came out beautifully when zoomed in. Plus, I have quite the knack for blinking a lot in pictures; yet, Matt captured our day with my eyes open and sparkling! It was such a smooth process getting together for our initial consultation and sharing our vision for our Wedding Day. Amy helped manage several logistics in a professional and timely manner, and offered suggestions about the best time of day for photos when some of our plans changed last minute. Matt and Amy are not only an incredibly talented photography duo; they're really great people, as well, whose energy and passion for photography shines through their work. We will definitely seek them out for our next life milestone! Thank you so much!

If I can give any advice on planning your wedding,it is to always spend a good chunk of your budget on your photographer. And if I could recommend anyone for that role it would be Matt Blasing. Unfortunately we didn’t book them for our wedding, but we so wish we could of seven years ago. We did recently do a couples session that was everything I could have wanted in capturing the essence of ‘us’. Easy to book, easy to communicate, and Matt is everything you want in a photographer. Matt and Amy are an amazing team! Because of their awesome client portal and excellent communication, we were able to plan everything via telephone and electronically; which was great because we live in a different state. We really can’t express in words how grateful we are that they were able to gather our rambunctious family and get beautiful, formal photos as well as live action images. Amy was so in tune to all of my emotions and nerves as a bride; by directing us through the schedule we were really able enjoy every single moment. They are the best in the Albuquerque area!

When we booked Matt and Amy over a year before our wedding, we hadn’t even booked our venue or had a wedding date. They immediately made us feel comfortable in accomplishing it all. They were extremely personal, sharing experiences and what they wanted when they got married. We felt extremely comfortable and confident during our very first meeting. Not only did they get to know us, we got to know them as well. We knew we had to book with them after that first meeting. Let me tell you, I am glad we did. They seemed as if they were always available for any little questions. We could ask them anything from venues to bakeries. They are an absolute wealth of knowledge. We had some things change about our weddings and they worked with us with no issues, even while they were on vacation (twice). Whenever they would see us at wedding events, they would immediately come up to us and say “hi”. They had a genuine interest in knowing us. They knew us by name and many other details from memory. We felt more like friends with them instead of just clients. We had all our wedding photos within a month of our wedding (over 1200 photos). Along with that, we woke up after our wedding day to a few sneak-peek photos on his Facebook page which was incredible after shooting all day. They have truly been the backbone of our wedding by coordinating with all our other vendors to make sure our day was perfect. I cannot think of any other photographers that would go this far for anyone. They have truly made our wedding day and planning process memorable. I know if anyone or ourselves ever need a photographer again we would pick them without hesitation. Thank you again, Matt and Amy, for making our wedding day the amazing and beautiful success that it was. We are just sad we are done with our process and wish you two all the blessings in the future!

OMG OMG OMG!! Matt and Amy are hands down the BEST!! Mario and I could not be more happier with our experience with them. We were able to get such beautiful pictures with our families. Not to mention all the candid pictures from the dance floor, I loved seeing sneak peaks of our wedding. Matt was so awesome; he helped my husband and his groomsmen tie their ties. Amy was a delight and a true MacGyver for the bridesmaids. She helped hung my maid of honor’s dress onto her custom hanger to help get the perfect picture of all the bridal brigade dresses next to each other. They are more than just photographers; they are true artists and great people to be around. From our romantic first dance with the bubbles, to our dollar dance; Matt and Amy were right there capturing all the smiles and tears of joy from ourselves, our families and friends. When I got engaged, the first thing I wanted to do was find a good photographer. I found Matt and Amy through mutual friends and set up a meeting. After a warm, fun, inviting conversation, I knew I was done looking! They have been so helpful with other aspects of the wedding planning too, giving suggestions when I didn’t know where to turn. The pictures turned out better than I ever expected and he was so easy to work with! He took time to get to know us and make us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Both Matt and Amy are very responsive and easy to get in contact with both by email and text. We had our fully edited pictures back within 24 hours! During our session Matt knew exactly what would look good, he was efficient, and very friendly. If our wedding wasn’t out of state we would absolutely have them photograph that as well. I would recommend Matt Blasing Photography for anyone and everyone and I hope to work with them again in the future!

When John and I first met Matt and Amy at a bridal show in June, we instantly fell in love with them. I knew right away that I wanted them to be our photographers, even though we weren't getting married for another year and half. Not only is their work stellar, but they have wonderful personalities that instantly clicked with me and John. They're funny, sweet, and make taking pictures really enjoyable! I never thought of myself as a photogenic person, and was incredibly nervous to get our engagement pictures done, but Matt made us look AMAZING! Gianna and I first met Matt and Amy at one of the many wedding shows we have attended. We previously saw their work on Gianna's cousin page. They had Matt and Amy for their wedding. I cannot say enough good things about Matt Blasing Photography! The level of care, consideration, and professionalism we received are beyond compare. We met Matt and his wife, Amy, at an open house they put on. We wound up chatting with Matt & Amy for over an HOUR regarding our barely-conceptualized thoughts for our wedding, but also about our common loves of Disney, Harry Potter, and The Walking Dead! We felt instantly comfortable with them and knew we needed to work with them on our day. We had the BEST engagement shoot and felt even more comfortable - Matt's photography style and easy-to-follow directions kept us giggling throughout the session and from being nervous about smooching in front of a camera. Leading up to our wedding, Matt & Amy were very communicative and agreed to meet up to chat about our day (even though they were hectically busy!). And on the day! They showed up promptly, provided much-needed support and direction, made both my (now) wife and myself feel like we were stars, and followed up on every suggestion we had. And the laughter!! I had worried I might look too preoccupied in most of the photos (worrying about what comes next) when I had zero need to worry. Matt & Amy kept us laughing and smiling the whole time (even while handling my difficult & opinionated relatives). Working with Matt & Amy felt effortless and the results are GORGEOUS! They took so many pictures of our day that I don't even have a top 10 favorites - it's more like a top 30 (or almost all of them)! And we have the pleasure of knowing that whenever we need beautiful pictures or a friendly face, all we need do is reach out and they'll be there for us. Worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY!

Matt was the photographer for my cousin’s wedding in December and I was so impressed with him and his wife, Amy, and their work. When my fiancé and I started looking for photographers for our own wedding, I immediately thought of Matt! We just took our engagement photos and we couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. The session itself was fun despite the cold, windy weather, and the photos look better than I imagined. We also got our album from the engagement session after just three days! We can’t wait for our wedding and are so thankful that we will have gorgeous pictures to help us remember our day!

When me and my Fiance got engaged in 2016 one of our first thoughts was who was going to be our photographer we looked and viewed many others but I let my fiance Bernadette do most of the looking haha, well she came across Matt and Amy's instagram and fell in love immediatly with his beautiful amazing work. Matt and Amy aka the bad ass Blasings! These two are hands down the best people and photographers anyone could choose! From the minute we sat down with Matt it was clear that not only was his work impeccable but his personality was amazing too. Although we didn’t meet Amy until the day of our wedding it was like we have known her forever! It was easy to see that Matt is no “shutter bug”, he is a behind the lens professional who truly takes pride knowing this work is his bread and shutter. Amy is the backbone of the entire operation. She knows exactly how to position couples so Matt can capture that sweet light. We enjoyed our engagement session, it felt like a couple old friends were asking us to stop and pose. It has been 11 days since we became Mr. and Mrs. and we couldn’t have survived the day without Matt and Amy. Let me just say that Matt is the Dumbledore of photography! With Amy’s help, they both have mastered the art of stopping time in a single photo. Take it back 10 months ago when we saw Matt’s photos in Perfect Wedding Guide where we were left mesmerized. His photography style is what attracted us the most because in that moment, we knew Matt Blasing Photography was our champion. From the first day we reached out to Matt and Amy, they were quick to respond and super helpful during our phone consultation. Before the consultation was through, we knew we had the right people to capture our memories so we booked them on the spot. Fast forward to our engagement session in October, we initially had Katie as our photographer however she was not able to do it so Amy called us a month before our session and told us Matt would be taking our pictures. It was such a great surprise!! My husband and I were very grateful to have Matt as our photographer. He has such a friendly demeanor that makes taking pictures so fun. During our engagement shoot, we planned to go to Corrales however due to my tardiness Matt suggested an alternate location which was super close to the location we were in at the time. Let me just say, despite this being an alternate location – we loved every single one of our engagement photos! The colors were just amazing and we couldn’t have had it any better. Come wedding day, Matt and Amy arrived and took charge (which is a bonus). Not only are they a dream photography team but they also provided so much more to the mix. Amy put the veil in my hair because we didn’t know how to do it, and throughout the whole day they kept track of timing of events which was definitely something we needed considering we didn’t have a wedding planner. We received our wedding day photos during our honeymoon so it made our time together even more perfect. We love our pictures soooooo much!!! What more can I say about Matt Blasing Photography…Matt and Amy are simply the best. Once you meet them, they’ll treat you like family through and through.
