Working with Jason of Matt Phoenix Photography was a fantastic experience. I hired him to photograph my wedding in Nashville. First, his pricing was affordable when compared to other photographers and his portfolio was of the quality and care you would expect paying 3 times as much. The communication prior to the wedding was excellent and he made himself available to speak at a moments notice if needed. On the day of the wedding he was professional but relaxed and made my wife and I comfortable with the entire experience, both of us hate being in front of the camera so that was a huge accomplishment. Jason followed our direction and provided guidance when needed throughout the night, and again, made a stressful experience relaxed. He was generous with his time, very kind demeanor, and professional from start to finish. Both my wife and I couldnt be more pleased to have hired Jason for the wedding and have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who is looking for a photographer.

Jason was our photographer for our wedding and engagement shoot and we couldn’t be more thrilled!! The photos he takes are absolutely beautiful and it was a pleasure to work with him! He really nailed it this weekend...WOW! His character and charisma are only matched by his skill set of an obviously passionate and creative photographer. We are absolutely delighted with our experience with him and he really handled the entire event with class, professionalism, and the fun loving down to earth personality that kept us at ease on this hectic day. Jason is a phenomal person with a great personality! We had our wedding on september 8th of this year, and picked Jason to do our engagement photos and wedding day photos! He was very prompt on arrival for both occasions, knew how to build a friendship with his clients, and take amazing posed and candid photos to capture the precious moments of our big day! We haven’t seen the pictures yet because our wedding was literally last night, but Jason was SUCH a joy to work with. Jason did a great job on our engagement photos. We are older and are combining families. He was very supportive of family engagement pictures. We got great images! He listens to what you want and is very prompt on returning messages. Can’t wait for our 11/3 wedding!

He is so easy to get along with, at our wedding he felt like one of our friends or guests instead of just the photographer! We were laughing and having a great time all while he was getting shots of everything. He was very accommodating. I’m almost positive his time was up per our contract but he stuck around when he heard we were about to cut the cake. To top all of that, he is affordable!!!! The photography was everything that I hoped it would be! You know how a photographer will take several shoots and 1 picture will look great, well Jason was a master photographer who got EVERY PICTURE PERFECT! Every picture he took was the right lighting, perfect position, and no wasted time. He also did a great job handling crazy family requested pictures and partying family members. He arrived early, had a great attitude, and was great at getting the perfect moments of our wedding. Your wedding day will be crazy and something will go wrong, but if you want perfect pictures hire him ASAP!

We hired Jason because he is so personal and punctual! We really enjoyed his wonderful personality, and so did our wedding guests. Jason provided fast and friendly service, and we really enjoyed having him capture both our engagement shots and our wedding. He also did great at capturing good shots of our dog, who was included in both events. He delivered high quality pictures, especially when the natural lightening was good. Some pictures that were taken in less-than-perfect light suffered in quality, because Jason seems to be a little less experienced with using proper flash in lower light settings (i.e. too much shade, and sunset in our experience). Finally, we wish we had learned from a previous Wedding Wire review that missed getting shots they wanted because they did not give him a ‘shot list.’ We highly recommend sitting down with Jason before the event and discussing exactly what pictures you want him to take and how you want them taken so no one is surprised during or after the fact. Ultimately we got plenty of pictures we really liked for an affordable price and really liked Jason’s personality. We recommend him for his punctuality, professionalism, and enthusiasm; all at an extremely reasonable price.

Jason is seriously so wonderful! Just got our wedding pictures back and they are FABULOUS! He really captured our personalities and was very responsive to what we wanted. Plus there are a TON of photos! He doesn't restrict how many he gives to you, and he was very quick about getting them back to us. Plus he's SO nice and wonderful to be around, my family was quick to embrace him at the celebration. His prices are very reasonable and the quality is excellent! So glad we chose him for our engagement and wedding photos!

Jason was AMAZING to work with! Always so responsive and he had all of our guests laughing during the wedding. He captured the most amazing moments of our special day - we didn't even need a videographer because it seems like he captured the entire night in special photos! Highly recommend! The photos that were taken were so AMAZING! He was able to capture the moments, memories, and details of every picture. The simplicity yet sophistication was remarkable. I was very nervous on my wedding day but Matt made sure that I was completely comfortable. He joked around with me and got me to forget about how nervous I was. When I saw my pictures, I was very impressed. He has such an imaginative focus. He captured moments in my pictures of aspects of my wedding that I never would have remembered. He captured the faces of my guests as I walked down the aisle and when I said "I Do". I felt like I could relive my whole day over again just by looking at my photos. He did great editing and the pictures of our rings came out great. Highly recommend him.
