I could tell immediately how passionate she was! She immediately understood what I was looking for and even brought out fixtures and centerpieces and whipped up a small bouquet for me to get a visual idea of what it would look like. When we left that day, we were about 99% sure we would be booking her for our wedding. One of best things that Camellia Faire offers is their Floral Design Workshops! About 2-3 months before your wedding date, you are invited to their adorable studio to have a one on one meeting with Maura and Erin where you get an even better idea of what your bouquets, centerpieces and any extra décor will look like. The space is filled to the brim of flowers that are in season for your date and there are so many different types of fixtures to match whatever style you are going for! I am a visual person so having this gave me peace of mind knowing that Maura knew exactly what I was looking for! Unfortunately, we had to postpone our wedding date twice due to Covid and Maura and Erin were nothing short of amazing and so supportive during the whole process. They were so fast at emailing us back and helping us set up our new dates. Fast forward leading up to our third date, Maura and Erin made sure to check in and I shared any updates and changes that have happened along the way and they were super understanding and helpful. The day of the wedding, I was so excited to have our bouquets delivered and see how everything would come together. Let me tell you, I was blown away. They transformed our venue's ballroom to match our elevated garden party theme. The space was filled with flowers, greenery, lanterns and candles! My bouquet was just as beautiful and I literally wouldn't let it go all day. I was obsessed. The only bummer that took place was that for my mother, mother-in-law, our godmother's and my grandmother, we got them corsages to wear and unfortunately everyone's flower fell off throughout the night. Other than that though, everything was beautiful and perfect! The Camellia Faire team that came onsite that day were so friendly and kind and they really did an amazing job! Our guests couldn't stop raving about how gorgeous the flowers were, and the designs complimented everything so wonderfully. I loved that they had the floral workshop months before the wedding. I had spoken to multiple other florists and they are the only ones I spoke with who offered that and I found it really helpful to see things in person and talk through different stylings. They are beyond patient and helpful. I emailed them with a bunch of questions I had and they were very responsive. Also a few weeks before the wedding during our final meeting I shifted the color scheme to some lighter tones and they were great at adjusting the vision and making our day a beautiful one! They and their team are wonderful to work with and we're so glad we picked them for our day!

ng my vision for flowers, Maura and Erin went above and beyond to make sure the décor was perfect, while suggesting creative twists on my original ideas and always happy to entertain new ones. Their passion for their art really comes through when you get to see mock-ups of the centerpieces, bouquets, and other key elements at the design workshop. It was so helpful to know ahead of time exactly what the flowers at our wedding would look like. Everything turned out even better than I envisioned it, and the Camellia Faire team went above and beyond to make sure our winter wedding went off without a hitch (even staying in a hotel the night before the wedding because of a predicted snow storm!). I cannot recommend Camellia Faire highly enough – they did an incredible job and were phenomenal to work with.

They seamlessly rescheduled our Covid postponed wedding and were extremely flexible in allowing me to update my floral design from what we had planned the previous year. I changed my mind several times, and Erin was so patient with me and generally excited to make my vision come alive. Planning sessions both in person and online were a breeze, and Erin was great at matching what we had in our heads with actual examples. Could not recommend them enough to create the perfect wedding atmosphere!!!! I got married out of state so I'm not around the PA area, but if I could hire them for all my future events, I would in a heartbeat!

the in-person floral workshop, that they really took the time to capture my vision. The only reason they were not a 5-star vendor was the organization and communication behind the scenes. We had trouble processing our payments from the very beginning, which appeared to be a lack of communication between the team and the booking platform they use, and unfortunately these issues were present each time we had to process a payment. We had to email or call many times before getting any sort of response, which left us feeling in-limbo most of the time. I know this wedding season is jam-packed for vendors, but as a bride, it added an extra, unnecessary layer of stress. Maura and Erin’s artistry is truly unmatched, and on wedding day, we could not have been happier with our flowers. Some better business and organization practices in the office would make them a perfect vendor.

I did not come across another florist that had a workshop in advance of your wedding to help you figure out exactly what you wanted and I am sure that played a big role in what they delivered. Camellia Faire did florals for both our small October 2020 wedding and our wedding reception in August 2021 and both times the work was absolutely stunning and brought our vision to life. riginally signed our contract in early 2019, neither party had any idea what was coming, but every obstacle was handled with such grace, understanding, and flexibility, and made our lives so much easier! From our first phone call in 2019 to the end result in May 2021, Maura and Erin were so on top of things. The bridal workshop in their studio was so much fun and truly helpful for someone who knew roughly what they wanted but had no idea what it would actually look like in a bouquet. . Maura and Erin worked with us virtually to plan exactly what we wanted and we were NOT disappointed! During the planning process we had phone calls, facetimes, and pictures so that we always knew what to expect but even on the day of I was blown away by how beautiful everything was. It was perfect. For the day of they showed up on time and prepared to set up our arch and deliver the bouquets, boutonnières, corsages, and small decorative pieces. The next day they arrived early to pick up and clean up anything left behind. Our venue was really happy with how on top of next day clean up they were. Seriously... don’t look for anyone else. Maura was very empathetic and understanding of the unique challenges of planning a wedding during COVID and when we decided to move our wedding out of state due to PA guest count restrictions that would not allow us to include our entire immediate family, Maura was completely supportive. I cannot say the same about some of the other vendors I had contracted for my wedding. I know Maura is a very talented florist and I am sad I didn’t get to work with her for our wedding, but beyond being a florist Maura is a true professional.

rking on the color scheme and design for the wedding day, Maura was so receptive to our ideas and made many great suggestions. As a part of working with Maura, she hosts a floral workshop for each of her couples. I have to say that this workshop was easily my favorite part of the whole wedding planning process! We visited her studio and saw live, mock-ups of our bouquets, corsages, and table settings. This was such a great way for us to not only see everything and work out design in real time, but it helped us to picture the big day visually! She rolled with every change we threw her way and embraced it. The end result was a beautifully designed and well-thought reception with amazing florals. I just wish I had another excuse to throw another party with her florals again!

My Mom and I met Maura and Erin to create demos for the bouquet, centerpieces, etc. All while sipping champagne and chatting. Although our large reception was delayed, we had an intimate ceremony with immediate family. Maura drove (in a hurricane!!) to hand-deliver my bouquet. Maura created an original bouquet which exceeded all expectations. It smelled beautiful and was absolutely gorgeous. Maura, we can't wait to see what create for the large wedding next summer. I didn't realize I could receive so many compliments on flowers, but everyone I came across couldn't stop talking about how gorgeous and unique my bouquets were, and how breathtaking the centerpieces were. Even as the bride, with a million things happening at once and being pulled in so many different directions at my reception, I couldn't stop staring at them myself! I was SO happy with the way everything turned out and had a great time planning with her. I would absolutely recommend her for your wedding. You won't regret it!

I was absolutely blown away with the understated Indian mandap they created for us (with little previous experience), as well as the bouquets for me and my bridesmaids. What I most appreciated about Maura Rose was their professionalism throughout the planning process, and their willingness to partner with us on how to make the most of our budget, without comprising our vision. I will be recommending them to all my friends and family without hesitation!

groom, we were very disappointed in what we were given, especially for the price we paid. If we had to redo our wedding, we'd go with a different florist. Communicating with Maura and her team was difficult -- sometimes we would have to send 2-3 e-mail before getting a response days to weeks later. We also had to painstaking read every line of the proposal because there were constantly mistakes in the florals and aesthetics we were asking for (maybe this is why so much was executed incorrectly). We were adamant that we didn't want any traditional roses, but they were put into every single centerpiece. We also emphasized that we wanted LOTS of blue thistles, and none were in the bridal bouquet at all, only in the bridesmaids bouquets. In general, the bridal bouquet looked very thrown together and lopsided and some florals even fell out during photos. We also emphasized that our most important colors were saturated pink tones and asked for coordinating florals for our cake and groom / groomsmen boutonnieres. However, all of the florals used for the cake and boutonnieres were a sad fleshy tan color -- no saturated pink at all. We also made it clear that we didn't want an asymmetrical chuppah, but when we showed up to the ceremony space, it was asymmetrical. Our coordinator called Maura and someone was able to come fix -- which I'm thankful for. However, because we had to wait for someone to come fix it, we weren't able to take any photos with it before our ceremony, and missed out on some pictures we really wanted to have.

Maura and her team could not be sweeter, they love what they do and it shows! Book them for your wedding and thank me later :)

Maura is phenomenal and turned my wedding decor/color palette vision into a reality. She was honest and realistic with us during the planning process and was flexible in re-using florals/decor throughout the night to help cut down on some costs. From first contact, to our floral design workshop, to our wedding day and every conversation in between, Maura and Erin were so wonderful to work with, easy to communicate with, and helped make sure our day was stress-free and beautiful. I hope this is my one and only wedding (LOL), but if I ever had another wedding, I would hire Maura in a heartbeat and YOU SHOULD TOO!! :)

I was living in London when I first got in touch with Maura, and she was extremely accommodating - a Skype conversation was set up between me and Kate, who made me feel completely at ease about the planning and listened carefully to what I was picturing for the wedding, making sure that we stayed within budget while also indulging my visions. Maura continued to touch base and was very communicative. My mother, maid of honor, and I had a lovely time at the private workshop in her Fishtown studio once I returned. It's a gorgeous space and we had a lot of fun looking at different options (and drinking champagne/having golden cookies!). Maura is not only incredibly knowledgeable about flowers and greenery, but she has a keen eye and creative insight to put together beautiful and unique pieces on the spot. She remained in contact with us after this meeting and was very helpful and flexible in changing/adding things along the way. The weather forecast during the week leading up to the wedding day was not looking positive, and Maura made us all feel so much better knowing that it would be beautiful regardless of the weather. Fortunately, it ended up being a gorgeous day, and the flowers and all of the decorations were set up perfectly by Kate and Abby/Abbie without us having to do a thing. One of my other favorite parts (other than the actual flowers of course) was the ease of the process. They use an online system to manage the contract which makes any changes trackable and payments are super easy and can be done automatically. Planning a wedding is hard enough but Maura Rose makes it so seamless. All vendors should be this easy to work with and organized!
