Mayfield Florist

We used Mayfield Florist for our wedding and they did a great job! Stacey and her team were amazing to work with and let us ship candles to their store prior to the wedding. They helped with the design and made things very easy. Thanks again for your work!

From the very first time that I called Mayfield they were really helpful. I do not know anything about flowers and luckily the person on the other end knew exactly what they talking about. Mayfield was super professional and completed everything we asked in a timely manor. Our photographer commented to me how great the boutonnieres looked and how well put together they were. We had specific colors request for the flowers (blue and purple) Mayfield did a fantastic job at honoring our requests.

Very long story short, service was terrible but flowers were beautiful. At our first meeting I really liked Olin and thought he understood what we were looking for. We met six months before the wedding and it was his suggestion that we meet a month before the wedding to touch base, make sure colors hadn't changed and at that time he would know for sure what would be in season. Great idea! So a little more than a month out, I called and made an appointment with him to touch base. When we walked in, Olin seemed caught off guard and unprepared for our meeting. When we were reviewing what we had spoken about months prior, I mentioned that I didn't want a certain flower and I was hoping to have lighter shades of "filler greenery." He was visibly frustrated that his vision did not align with mine. I came back a couple weeks later and met with the manager Lani because I had a bad feeling Olin did not understand what we were looking for. Lani assured me she would oversee everything and she wrote down what flowers in particular we wanted to see in the bouquets. Three days before the wedding Olin asked to meet with me to just do a last minute review as some things weren't "adding up." The day he suggest we meet was my actual wedding day so I lost complete confidence in him since he forgot when we were getting married! The DAY BEFORE my wedding I went into the store and low and behold, the flowers were wrong. It took speaking to the owner, Greg, to get things straightened out. Every aspect of my wedding was smooth sailing and fun and I could not have been less stressed out... except when it came to the flowers. Now at the end of the day, the flowers were beautiful! Truly, they were stunning, I could not have been happier and they were a great value. The boutonnieres were not the correct color but they were fine nonetheless. Now was that because of all the hassle, stress, confusion and fuss leading up to the wedding or was that how they would have originally turned out? Hard to say... If you do pick Mayfield just don't go with Olin or Lani.

I really enjoyed working with Greg at Mayfield. He is passionate and the whole group really knows what they are doing. We only hit one hiccup: they mixed up my order for flowers for hair with extra bouquets. We managed just fine, and I would definitely use them again.
