ld make our vision happen and within our budget.
We were told they don't do contracts and 6 weeks before our wedding all of a sudden Lani said it would cost much more for our vision than we had agreed upon. At that point it was too late to change to another vendor. We had to cut multiple things and downsize a lot but were still hopeful it would look nice.
Lani promised us she would be at the venue at 9am on our wedding day and had cleared her entire schedule to be there to set up. The day of she texted my wife at 9:15 saying she was still at the shop gathering the flowers. After that she was unreachable and didn't respond to any calls or texts. She finally showed up close to noon.
With our wedding ceremony quickly approaching, our family and bridal party had to urge her to set up quickly, to which Lani said "you're putting too much pressure on me" It was going so slowly that the groomsmen and two staff members from our venue had to help her set up. We literally had groomsmen with hoses and arranging flowers. This was the most stressful part of our wedding day.
The flowers looked okay, but definitely a paired down version of what we discussed. A few days after I spoke to the owner, who seemed to acknowledge they missed the mark here but he wouldn't apologize to me. At least Lani did apologize to my wife over text. I thought a full refund would be appropriate for what had happened but they only gave us back less than 30% of the total cost.
We love to support local businesses around Tucson but we felt extremely disrespected and as if they didn't care about one of the most important days of our lives.

Everyone at Mayfield is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about florals, and the designers are incredibly talented at putting together arrangements. They went above and beyond to provide great service and beautiful flowers, which lasted long past the wedding day. We cannot recommend Mayfield enough for any floral needs!

nths before the wedding and it was his suggestion that we meet a month before the wedding to touch base, make sure colors hadn't changed and at that time he would know for sure what would be in season. Great idea! So a little more than a month out, I called and made an appointment with him to touch base. When we walked in, Olin seemed caught off guard and unprepared for our meeting. When we were reviewing what we had spoken about months prior, I mentioned that I didn't want a certain flower and I was hoping to have lighter shades of "filler greenery." He was visibly frustrated that his vision did not align with mine. I came back a couple weeks later and met with the manager Lani because I had a bad feeling Olin did not understand what we were looking for. Lani assured me she would oversee everything and she wrote down what flowers in particular we wanted to see in the bouquets. Three days before the wedding Olin asked to meet with me to just do a last minute review as some things weren't "adding up." The day he suggest we meet was my actual wedding day so I lost complete confidence in him since he forgot when we were getting married! The DAY BEFORE my wedding I went into the store and low and behold, the flowers were wrong. It took speaking to the owner, Greg, to get things straightened out. Every aspect of my wedding was smooth sailing and fun and I could not have been less stressed out... except when it came to the flowers. Now at the end of the day, the flowers were beautiful! Truly, they were stunning, I could not have been happier and they were a great value. The boutonnieres were not the correct color but they were fine nonetheless. Now was that because of all the hassle, stress, confusion and fuss leading up to the wedding or was that how they would have originally turned out? Hard to say... If you do pick Mayfield just don't go with Olin or Lani.

I worked with Greg from Mayfield. At time he was hard to pin down but overall the flowers and center pieces where amazing and he came through with all the promises he had given us.
