I’m giving 2 stars because the suits were all correct and there’s an option to rent everything. However, Professionalism and attitude were very poor at the Eagan, MN and Woodbury, MN locations. They were very rude to my mom when she was picking up my dad’s suit (father of the bride mind you) at Eagan. Very rude to my now husband at the Woodbury location and very rude to the groomsmen at the Woodbury locations both before, during and after the renting wedding suit process. My sister in law even brought her kid to get fitted and they did not appear helpful. They responded, “we don’t do kids often.” It’s even on video where one employee is seen stepping over my 3 year old nephew. Thankfully all the suits were right but I could go without the attitude next time. If there is one…
Not the best experience. Had to go there multiple times to get our suits correct. They measured our ring bearers and groom wrong. They didn’t have matching ties to the bridesmaids dresses and didn’t have matching ties to even some of their own pocket squares. Plus they were expensive. I wouldn’t recommend using them.
It’s taking me a long time to write this, because we were so frustrated for a long time and I needed time to cool down. This review is for our wedding last October. Anyway, the only reason they are getting a 3 star is because the final product looked good. If I had only based this review off of the service before the wedding it would have been a 2 or even a 1. So, my husband went the first time with his brothers and dad. They had a good experience for the most part. He went in wanting navy. They didn’t have exactly what he wanted in the rental. They had it, but he would have had to buy it. For rental they only had brighter or darker than what he wanted. He settled on the brighter one. They also told him he could bring in the bridesmaids dresses at a later time and they would match the ties to it. Well… we went to do that and they only had 2 employees in the entire store. We ended up waiting forever. Well, it turns out they went ahead and ordered him ties at the first appointment even though we didn’t have the exact color. We went in there to do it and they had very few options. None of them were a solid color and they didn’t have a straight maroon or burgundy. We also asked for a navy tie to match my husbands suit and they didn’t even have that. We ended up purchasing separate ties from Kohl’s that worked better then anything they had. They had also told my husband that because he’s had fit issues in the past he could come into the store and try on his suit 2 weeks prior to the wedding in case they needed adjustments. Well… that was false information… he didn’t get to pick up the suit until 2 or 3 days before the wedding. They said they would have a tailor on site to make sure the suit fit correctly. Again, he had fit issues and they kept telling him it was fine. The white under shirt was scratchy, the sleeves were too short, the collar was too tight, and the shirt was really baggy throughout the chest. Again, we ended up needing to purchase a new dress top from Kohls. The jacket unfortunately had fit issues too, but there was nothing we could do about that. My advice save effort and just purchase a suit from a department store and have it tailored. At least you’ll get to keep the product and you’ll have a better experience.
I was disappointed in how Men's Warehouse handled my wedding suit rental process. We started the process about a week and a half before the wedding day and we were still in need of one suit coat on the wedding day. I had nine people get suits and only two of them tried them on and were able to walk out with it. The other seven either needed the length to be shortened or lengthened or the suit was replaced as a whole. It was a nightmare of a week and I would make sure you plan ahead of time if you plan to use Men's Warehouse for rentals.
We worked with Men's Warehouse in Woodbury and they did a wonderful job setting up the tux's for our Wedding. My Grooms tux was ready earlier than promised and it was perfect! Many thank yous!!
If I could go negative in stars I would. Stay away. The groom and I as well as his brother and my brother went to the Roseville location. I had an appointment well in advanced. No one acted like they even made appointments and the two employees we had contact with were incredibly rude. The one we spoke with the longest had absolutely NO customer service or communication skills. It was like pulling teeth to get answers to very basic questions. The store also had one option for a vest and one option for a tie and the colors and pattern did not even match. Which still blows my mind to this day. We will never support this company and urge others to stay away.
Save your money for other things for your. They charge the same price for all suits, no matter what the size (and don't tell you that when you go in to pick out what you want). Our ring bearer's suit was going to be almost $200 which was the same price add the adult suits and he's only 4! They also missed one of our groomsmen's vests, another groomsmen's shoes, and two of the shirts were too small. I thought that going with them over the cheaper store would mean better, but clearly was wrong. Their only saving grace is that they let us choose which tuxes we wanted for our boys because there was a mix up in ordering and shipping. They let us use the more expensive tux for the price we already paid for the cheaper tuxes.
We rented all the tuxes from here. We had no issues at all. Everything was on time and correct. The only downside is their color options were not the best (or we had a specific color) so we ended up buying ties and pocket squares. They are also a little on the expensive side, but I waited for a coupon to make it cheaper. It was cheaper than buying to get exactly what we wanted without compromising our look. It is also nice they have so many locations so our out of state groomsman could go into a store near them. They would also call periodically to give updates on how many people still needed to get sized. It is nice you can also check that online. Most of our groomsmen used the Maplewood location and staff there were great!
We had a great experience renting suits from Men's Warehouse in Woodbury and Burnsville for our wedding! The process was very smooth and they had a lot of great recommendations to make the look I wanted come to life! The suits were high quality and were in amazing condition. We would highly recommend checking out Men's Warehouse for wedding suiting!
Had an absolutely horrible experience at the Eagan, MN location - the associate - Alan - was not listening, was very distracted with other customers, was telling us what he thought we should do rather than listening to what we wanted. He then proceeded to make false promises and never got back to my husband. My husband then switched all tuxes to the Woodbury, MN location and worked with Chris there and she was WONDERFUL! She was very knowledgeable with fittings and accurate pricing. She allowed us to pick and up and drop off the tuxes during a longer window of time than is typical which was extremely helpful given our wedding location. The options for mensware is so limited and Mens Warehouse is very convenient.
Absolutely do not use Men’s Wearhouse. We went to the Burnsville, MN and Eagan, MN locations. Of the 8 men renting suits, 7 had to go back at least once to be refit, as they incorrectly measured them the first time. One of our groomsmen was given a tuxedo vest instead of a suit vest and didn’t notice- so he didn’t match our wedding party on the wedding day. One was missing the suspenders which we ordered, one was missing cuff links, one had a broken vest buckle, and my dad had to have his tailored the day before our out of town wedding because it was 4 inches too long for him. Not impressed at all.
We went to the Men's Wearhouse in Eden Prairie, MN. The customer service there is so terrible. They do not listen to what you, the customer, wants. They only do what they think is best. When we wanted to pick up the tuxes for everyone, they wanted each groomsmen to come in to try them on. We had groomsmen traveling from 7+ hours away and we were not about to make them have ANOTHER stop the night them came in--the employees were very grouchy when learning that we would just pick them up. When trying to spend our $400 shopping spree, the employee that helped us wouldn't pull anything that we were asking for. We wanted to purchase a navy blue sport jacket for under $400. He kept pulling gray, black suit jackets (the suit jackets always cost more because they have a matching pair of pants). After FINALLY deciding what we wanted, we went up front to order it because it was in the wrong size. Nobody in the store knew how to use the coupon, so they said, "well we could make a call, but you could also go to other men's wearhouse locations to see if they have what you want and they can order it if you want." I was so angry that we spent over an hour in their store and they were unwilling to help us by getting on the phone for 5 minutes to figure out how to use the coupon. I would avoid Men's Wearhouse at all costs.
Men's Warehouse was a great choice for our wedding. All of the wedding party planned on purchasing suits and were having so much trouble when going to bridal salons. As soon as they arrived at Men's Warehouse, everything clicked. The staff helped them pick out the best suits to fit them with the colors to match our theme. All of the alterations went well and orders were received on time. The staff really helped the whole wedding party feel comfortable and excited no matter if it was their 1st or 50th suit purchase. I would recommend them to anyone looking for menswear!
We rented the tuxes for our wedding in July 2017 (for the groom, groomsmen, ushers, ring bearer and fathers) from Men's Warehouse - Coon Rapids, MN and other twin cities Minneapolis store locations. We dealt with the Coon Rapids store primarily and they had great customer service, great quality tuxes and at a good price. We were able to get the groom's tux for free and $ off on all of the other tuxes in our party. We chose to go with Men's Warehouse over Savvi, because they had better quality products, better prices and a MUCH better customer service experience! We felt we were being taken care of at Men's Warehouse and had confidence in that they would deliver what we ordered. They were very helpful to work with and had the exact color we needed to match the bridesmaids dresses. My only compliant would be that they didn't have pocket squares to match all of the tie and vest colors (we had cassis) , so we had to go with white pocket squares instead. Their online account was very easy to use and I was emailed and could track online every time someone in our party got fitted, ordered and picked up their tuxes. The store also called me when my dad was in the store to pick up his tux and thought the color of his vest was not right when he picked up his tux, and I'm so glad they did because it didn't look the best and they helped me make this change right away and got him the right color within a day. The men in our wedding party looked great and it came together to exactly the look I envisioned! I would recommend Men's Warehouse to anyone getting married for their tux rental!
We had our custom made tuxedos from Men's Warehouse. One of us is 6' 8" and we couldn't find a rental that really fits well for him. We had certain color and style in mind for our tuxedos. After exhausting the rental options, we looked at various custom made clothing options and they almost gave us a heart attack. They are so expensive, some more than the cost of our reception dinner (for 150 guests). We looked at Men's Warehouse and it turns out, custom made need not be super expensive. At Plymouth store, Will helped us figuring out the styles that we can pick from, fitting those to us and then doing alterations. We ended up getting custom shirts as well. They came with our initials on them and they looked great in the photos. You really can't get all of that in rental. Also, they gave us coupons for the purchases we made. So that paid for the cuff links and buttons as well. That is a great deal for us. We also bought tuxedo shoes (which are really cool) and they had offers running on them as well. I also got rental suit for my dad and they did it in just 1 day. They are really great service and their products are of good quality. You can get rental anywhere and they do rental like others, but they really make a difference when it came to custom made clothing. I recommend them very much for weddings! And Will is really great!
Men's wearhouse was great for all our tux needs. We had a groom, 5 groomsmen and 2 ushers who rented tuxes and all looked fantastic the day of. They may have high prices and strict rental rules but they were worth it for our needs.
I would not recommend Men's warehouse to anybody. They were a huge let down, the rental suits themselves are not bad but the customer service, trying to add coupons, and the price was not worth. I know a lot of other places that you can pay less for rentals and buying suits and you get way better customer service for that price.
I was disappointed. I only used mensware house because they advertised that they had matching colors for my bridesmaid dresses (bought at Davids Bridal) I was wrong they only have coordinating colors. The patterns were horrible. When we picked up the tuxes the sales associate had an attitude, obviously she didnt like her job. Never going back there again!!
We worked with Holly at Men's Wearhouse in Roseville. She was terrific!! Great selection. Lots of assistance to find what we wanted for a reasonable price. She was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy.
match beach color!
We chose Men's Wear House assuming the quality would be better. Boy were we wrong. Nothing fit any of the guys-each had to go back at least twice. My husband's tux didn't show up until the day before the wedding!!
Every guy had a problem with their tux as well-missing buttons, broken fasteners, broken shoelaces, etc.
I couldn't believe how many measurements they got wrong! We ordered 12 tuxedos through them and all of them but 2 had to be majorly altered due to them not sizing them correctly! Despite that though i will say they got everything changed quickly though. They also had a very limited selection of colors...I'm just glad they looked good on the day of.
