Unfortunately I am here to make a disappointing review. We waited over a year from our wedding to do this since we tried so hard to support local female owned businesses, but we’re encouraged by family and friends to make sure this doesn’t happen to anyone else, and since we never received a promised refund and never heard from the vendors since I want to warn others of our experience. Our wedding was a destination wedding of sorts for us so we booked with Allyson via phone. She was so sweet and kind at the time of booking and we sent pictures back and forth to ensure she had our vision and seemed amazing! Long story short day of wedding white flowers arrived and looked very yellow. They actually have posted photos to their Instagram of our wedding and you can see the yellow coloring. Upon arrival I made it known that to me the flowers were not pure white but rather a yellow that would not work for my wedding. Originally Allyson immediately agreed and said she felt terrible and would be willing to help make it right. Her first idea was to let them sit out in the sun and open up for an hour. She also said she would give us money back and went on and on (even tearing up) about how horrible she felt and 100% agreeed that because the flowers were too fresh and small From the vendor they were yellow in color etc. I said I would just like white floral. I asked if they had anything in the shop the might look white and she said no, so she even originally offered to run to purchase from a local store to correct the issue. We said okay let us know and I went to hair and makeup. Fast forward and she entered my makeup room to let me know she was departing and when I asked how we were fixing the problem she lost all professionalism. So much so that the venue owners asked me if I wanted her escorted from the premises. She was screaming and crying on the phone with whom we believe was her mother/store owner meri in front of our guests and other vendors. She yelled at me in front of my mothers and bridesmaids that she can’t do anything (when I asked if she could simply take out the yellow flower and rewrap the bouquets as is- something she originally offered to do) and she left hysterical throwing a tantrum in front of my guests as I sat getting my hair done and simply asking her to rewrap the flowers. In the end she promised us a full refund (which should have been easy since we paid via PayPal yet we never saw a dime!) and she left and my bridesmaids and I sat on in the floor and wrapped the bouquets ourselves without the yellow, and my photographer had to edit the photos of our ceremony arch to look white instead. Because of this we didn’t get time to take our family photos and that is one of my biggest regrets. Maybe they will see this and make it right financially maybe not, but the least we can do is hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. There were a bunch of simple fixes/ideas we provided for her to help us correct the issue even without any financial return required and instead she left in such a childlike tantrum that I’ve never witnessed a businessperson do, and that was the most upsetting part. Not the color flower or money but how this was handled in front of our guests. Everyone has a bad day and we had hoped that was what this was for her and that she would call to apologize with some personal reason and the refund she promised but unfortunately we never heard from them. Be weary and inquire about color and professionalism.
