Michelle is the ultimate boss, wedding pro, and a gem of a human that you want to bring your wedding vision to life on this special day of your lives! How can I describe the feeling of how she saved the day repeatedly, stood by our side like fa...mily, and helped us bring our wedding vision to life? Our wedding was an absolute dream come true. I get tears in my eyes every time I think about it and how Michelle was the quarterback of it all! I was stressed with wedding planning and she came at the exact right time with the level of support I needed. Michelle played not only the coordinator role, but that of a close friend! First, Michelle goes above and beyond planning services: she treats her clients and their guests like gold. This a testament to her loving her job (to the point she even drove us to the airport afterward and we hugged goodbye)! She handles this intense job and everyone’s emotions with a calm, collected and fun demeanor. We had an intimate wedding, and having someone who could fit into the wedding events with such warm energy and a sense of humor was super important to us. Our guests raved about Michelle–my brother's girlfriend even asked if she traveled to do their future wedding! Second, Michelle has that ultimate inside perspective in the industry. You TRUST her advice, a super important intangible in a planner. She has a superb group of vendor contacts, which alone is worth thousands of dollars and will save your much-needed energy. Michelle was responsible for half of our vendors (we hired the other half before we met her). Pre-Michelle, I spent a lot of time second guessing decisions. When you are spending this kind of money, the feeling of hiring the right team is PRICELESS. Third, Michelle is a super savvy problem solver. My husband and I reached out to her in a pinch many times and she was able to help us quickly problem solve. She’s really responsive (under 24 hours) and makes herself available no matter the level of service! She advised us on table decor and space set up, rehearsal dinner and after-party location, etc. We had two near disasters the week of: rain – we dodged that bullet, but Michelle liaised with a tent vendor on our behalf; and marriage license – we forgot our vitals documents, and Michelle smoothed it over and sat with us most of the day to rectify it. Fourth, execution on the day of was exceptionally smooth – her staff treated our guests with superior quality and executed the logistics with perfection, including “flipping” the venue between the ceremony and reception. All of this was done on schedule and intuitively–we wanted someone who could be flexible to changes and go with the event vibe. Her team was also well-synchronized with our caterer and photographer, the trio you want to work together. Finally, Michelle’s prices are very reasonable. We only hired her for month-of services (not full-time planning), and yet she did so much! She allows you to send packages if you are a destination couple, holds regular phone calls, and responds to many emails in between. If I were to redo anything, I would hire her as my full-time planner. But if budget doesn’t allow, I would recommend her month-of services and NO LESS. She kicks in a lot of the coordination in the month prior to the wedding, which is when you need it the most. HIRE MICHELLE ASAP, she is a A+ leader in the industry!
