Misselwood Events at Endicott College

LUTELY worth it. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with gorgeous ocean views, a sweeping lawn, and the stateliest manor house, that provided the perfect backdrop for our special day. Every corner of the venue was picture-perfect, creating an atmosphere that felt both elegant and intimate. What truly made our experience unforgettable, though, was the incredible support from the venue coordinator, Meg. On the day of our wedding, the weather took a turn for the worse, and I started to feel a bit overwhelmed, because I dreamed of my sunny day out on the lawn. But Meg was there every step of the way, keeping me calm and ensuring that everything went smoothly despite the challenges. Her calm and reassuring presence, professionalism, and ability to turn the plan to hold the ceremony outdoors afterall, made all the difference, allowing us to enjoy the day without a hitch. We are so grateful to Misselwood and Meg for making our wedding day everything we dreamed it would be, and more. Thank you for providing such a beautiful venue and for going above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect!

am provided a top notch white glove service the entire night. Using the beautiful lawn/ patio with the properties insane ocean view for cocktail hour, truly brought out the spark that started what we feel was the best wedding ever! The tent and entire set up was absolutely perfect and they accommodated to not only our needs but all of our guests to make sure everyone was having the best time! My wife and I wish we could relive our wedding day every day for the rest of our lives. There isn’t enough words to describe how perfect everything was. When all 200 of our guests repeatedly say this was the best wedding they have ever attended, I think speaks on such high volumes for what you get if you choose Misslewood!

t backdrop with the old manor house! Lily, our coordinator, was so helpful in taking my (at some time disorganized) vision and making it better than I ever imagined. You cannot beat the setting with the water in the background and the different locations for ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Every single guest said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to! Pictures were amazing! I could go on and on but we were beyond happy with our choice at Misselwood!!

door spaces more than anticipated, and those were beautiful too. The tent held up to the weather and kept everyone nice and dry. Our day-of coordinator, Kelsey, was incredibly helpful and responsive through the whole process (I didn't work with a planner). I'm so happy I chose Misselwood for my big day and would recommend it to anyone.

go wrong with Misselwood. The staff is kind, attentive, and have thought of everything you could need to make your day go smoothly. Getting ready in the house was perfect for me and my friends - tons of space and rooms for everyone to spread out in. The water views for the ceremony are stunning. Our guests loved being able to walk around the property for some cool air or to get a break from the music. We actually couldn't get everyone seated for dinner because everyone was taking in the views! The only downside is that we had to clear everything out the night of the wedding, so you do need to plan for enough cars for that. But the staff helped with boxing everything up, so it's not too big of a deal. Overall, we had a great experience with Misselwood and would choose it again.

g day. First, they did a poor job managing guests who arrived early, ignoring the day-of timeline, and repeatedly asking the bride what they should do while she was still getting dressed. They should have been able to refer to the timeline and manage the situation themselves. Instead, the Maid of Honor had to go out and ask the early guests to please wait in the courtyard. The first look, which was planned to be outside, had to be inside as a result of Misselwood staff's inability to manage the situation. Second, about 30 minutes before the ceremony, there was a small boat anchored just off the back lawn, maybe 20 feet from where the ceremony was to occur. The people on said boat were having fun and blasting music. When a member of our group flagged this issue to the Misselwood team, they advised us that they could not do anything about it. Granted, I understand that Misselwood does not own the Atlantic Ocean, and that the boat was not doing anything wrong -- but to think that the team would not make ANY efforts whatsoever to kindly ask the boat to move, given that we were moments away from a wedding ceremony, is outrageous. Instead, the groom, his sister, and the bride's brother had to wave to the boat and call out to them to ask them to move. Another situation that we were forced to manage, because Misselwood staff were either unwilling or unable to do so. Lastly, we understood in advance that the team needed to package up all of our decor for us to take it home at the end of the evening. That said, the way they went about doing this was, quite simply, gruff and unprofessional. There were people throwing things into boxes, packing things up right next to guests, and taking things down as they were still in use, etc. -- and we were still quite a ways from the event end time. While I concede that it would be somewhat tricky to pull this off seamlessly, I am certain that there was a more tasteful way of going about it. This cheapened the experience of our guests. We did share this feedback directly with Misselwood's Events Director, who said that she would take it under advisement -- but we wanted to warn others about our experience.

Claudine and Jamie did a stellar job, we’re always so patient, kind and clear answering all of my questions, and understanding, organized, and thoughtful when it came to rescheduling our big day a year out due to the pandemic. Our wedding honestly shattered my expectations. It was truly the most incredible day or our lives.

But not only is it beautiful but the staff is incredibly supportive, organized and helpful. Special shoutout to Claudine, Jamie & Katelyn who helped us so much in the lead up to the big day. Even through COVID, they were sure to keep us updated on the latest requirements, shared options and helped us organize our arrangements to keep our guests safe. I ended up renting the house for extra time to get ready day of which I also cannot recommend enough! It was great to spend the day with my bridesmaids and have extra time to enjoy the view of the harbor and the house.

ved for our tour, I knew that no other venue would compare. Misselwood's ocean views are absolutely stunning. My guests could not stop telling us how beautiful everything was and taking photos by the ocean all night. The staff was attentive and patient and made sure the wedding day was seamless and that we didn't have to worry about anything. We also booked the Misselwood house for the bridal party that morning. They gave us a great breakfast and lunch, complete with champagne, and we were able to do hair and makeup right on site without any stress. It was definitely worth the added cost. I honestly could not imagine our wedding day taking place anywhere else, and I hope someone I know decides to get married at Misselwood someday so that I can go back and experience it all again.

We decided to have our cocktail hour on the lawn by the ocean because we were married in a church. Our cocktail hour was spectacular and Misselwood set up a bar on the back patio. Seeing our friends and family fill the patio and lawn while taking pictures by the ocean is unforgetable for us. Our reception was stunning, we had bistro lights and drapery by DesignLight and used Vinwood Caterers. Both were absolutely fabulous! Everything went super smooth (thanks to Katy) with not a single issue. We received SO many compliments on the venue and how gorgeous it was. The grounds were perfectly maintained and there were some flowers added around the property that I hadn’t seen before. We had a truly magical night thanks to Misselwood, they made it feel like a dream! We cannot recommend this venue enough, we absolutely LOVED it!

Claudine and Katy were so amazing to work with. They were professional, organized, kind, and helpful with us dealing with postponing our wedding twice and all the questions we had. I can't emphasize enough how great they were and their staff. They kept us informed on Covid-19 updates as they were ever-changing. Katy, kept us on our timeline when we started to veer off course. Most of our guests keep saying how Misselwood was one of the most beautiful wedding venues they ever attended and understand now why we waited to have our big day. Truly a dream come true! vows for our 20th anniversary, Misselwood was the venue that we immediately thought of. Claudine Mitchell who's the Assistant Director assisted us in putting together our small intimate day. Ms. Mitchell is very meticulous and very detail oriented. She kept us informed through out the whole process and made suggestions when we needed input. We were supposed to have the ceremony on the lawn with the view of the water as our back drop. When the day arrived it rained that morning but Ms. Mitchell and her staff quickly switched gear. They moved our ceremony inside and set up one of the rooms in the house. The room was beautifully decorated with flowers on the mantles and candles illuminated the room throughout with soft lighting. It was very romantic, enchanting and intimate. We were still able to have our vow renewal as planned with a beautiful view of the water being seen through the tall windows. We would definitely use Misselwood in the future. If you do, know that Claudine Mitchell and her staff will go above and beyond to make your day a memorable one. Scott and Michelle

th a View" turned out. We loved our intimate wedding ceremony overlooking the ocean, with a lovely sea breeze and boats crossing in the background. We brought our own chairs and it was very quick and easy set-up. We were blown away by how gorgeous all the family and couple portraits turned out on the Misselwood property- it is a venue truly unlike any other. We cannot wait to return to Misselwood for our postponed large wedding celebration in the future!

lmost two years before the date. When COVID required adjustments to be made, Misselwood staff helped us navigate the changes. They were so flexible and reworked our contracts to achieve what turned out to be the PERFECT day. They worked with us to preserve the details that were most important to us. They communicated regularly, answered our questions (often repeated) patiently, and approached every decision point positively. I cannot say enough how grateful my family and I are to Misselwood for the work they did to enable us to gather at Misselwood. The mansion and the grounds were breathtaking as always. I would tell every couple looking for a wedding venue that Misselwood is hands down the BEST venue out there.

at my husband and I set our date, everything fell into place with Misselwood. Their close relationships with vendors make it easy to trust that your wedding is in good hands. The event team handled my anxious questions with ease and never made me feel like a burden or that I had to wait too long for an answer. When it came to our actual wedding day, their professional team made the day seamless. It was so nice and comforting to know that the event staff had taken care of all of the set up and allowed for a more relaxing morning of the wedding. Katy and her event staff frequently checked in before and during the party and they fielded what ever issues that may have arouse. After our wedding, people asked if there were any issues or drama and I have always replied, "If there were, my husband and I were not aware of them." I am certain that this was only the case because we chose Misselwood as our venue. Thank you!!!

tent is state of the art. Aside from the absolute beauty of the venue itself, the Misselwood staff are nothing short of amazing. From our initial tour with Claudine to our wedding day with Jamie, we could not be happier with the professionalism, genuine dedication and perfect execution of every detail. The day of, Darren and Katelyn made sure all of our stuff was set up exactly as we wanted for the ceremony and reception including centerpieces, table cards, etc. It unexpectedly rained for a few minutes during the first look/before the ceremony, and they went above and beyond to wipe down every single ceremony chair so our guests would be comfortable. They coordinated our ceremony so that everything was timed perfectly. We booked the hospitality room (extra $) for one of the bridal parties to get hair and make up done, and the provided food and champagne was a phenomenal touch. The reception also went very smoothly. All of our vendors worked together and I couldn't have asked for things to go better. Food came out at the same time for everyone, and bar service was moving quickly for everyone. The different scenery and views on the property made for the best photo ops ever!!! I seriously could not have imagined the planning or the day of going any better- can't recommend this venue enough!

The grounds at Misselwood are breathtaking-the views, the pretty tent, the patio for cocktail hour...the amount of space you have is incredible, and we loved having our wedding at a place where no other events were going on, so it feels very intimate and private. And then there is the food! Our friends and family were raving about it a week later. My husband and I both come from the restaurant industry so food at our wedding was important. We went with Fireside Catering and it was amazing! Not your typical wedding food. They were also so great to work with. I would honestly recommend Misselwood to anyone planning a wedding. We had so much fun dancing the night away with our loved ones in that magical tent (that can really be transformed in so many ways). Truly an amazing wedding venue!
