Mission Inn Resort is a beautiful venue for a wedding. The wedding sales manager we worked with was great. All the staff before and during the wedding were awesome. It all went off great. Everything was setup and ready on time. We very much appreciated all the staff at Mission Inn that helped make out day special.
We had our wedding room block here as well as multiple events throughout the weekend such as the rehearsal dinner and a golf tournament. Lauren was amazing and went above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of perfect! Our guests also had an amazing time and enjoyed all the things to do on site. Would definitely recommend!
This was just the most perfect place for my husband and I to have our wedding. We loved every moment of the experience. The team here was so nice and accommodating, we couldn’t have asked for a better venue. We were married in the Legends Courtyard… an absolute breathtaking place for a wedding.

I cannot rave enough about how great Mission Inn was for our wedding! The resort style stay made it extremely easy for family to get together and spend time with each other all weekend instead of booking separate hotels. The weather was perfect and the golf lovers in our group loved playing the courses before the wedding! We even had a huge scramble with the guests. Paige was extremely responsive and helped us out for months leading up to the wedding. We could not have done it without her. We had multiple events on site including a welcome party, reception, ceremony, and after party! Shuttles were provided and transportation was easy. The guests would not stop talking about how beautiful the venue was. If you’re looking for the ‘old Florida’ feel, the Mission Inn is perfect! Highly recommended, we did not have a single issue on wedding day! Thanks Mission Inn team and Paige for an unforgettable weekend!
We would have loved to host our daughter's wedding at Mission Bay. Sadly, despite 3 of us calling, leaving voice-mail and requests through "The Knot" no one has contacted us back. We shouldn't have to chase someone to take our money. So disappointed.

I recently got married at the Mission Inn on Friday May 19th and it was nothing short but incredible! Paige Swanberg was incredible! Paige was always very responsive and if she didn't have an answer to a question we had for her, she always sought one out and did a great job with follow-ups! While the Mission Inn's facilities may be slightly dated, their team did an incredible job transforming every space we had reserved during our wedding weekend.
The big selling point for my wife and I was the ability for our guests to stay on property after the wedding. Wow - Did this pay off! We had such an incredible time during the reception, but we ended up pouring over into La Margarita that became a bar where our guests could purchase their own drinks. Our guests definitely stayed in that bar until close.
The day of our rehearsal dinner, the men played golf. Paige was incredible and she was able to reserve us 3 tee times at a discounted rate! The course was incredible! The greens are wildly fast gentlemen.
While we were golfing the ladies took advantage of a little spa day.
After our separate activities, the entire wedding party met at the pool for a little get together and we pretty much took over the entire pool deck because this was a Thursday afternoon, so there were not too many other guests around during this time. Unfortunately, because this was a Thursday afternoon with lower occupancy rates, they did not have a bartender by the pool while we were hanging out before the rehearsal dinner.
We chose Mission Inn as our wedding venue, and we are so happy that we did! We were originally looking at another venue nearby, and then my now husband mentioned the Mission Inn, just right across the street. He used to golf there with his grandfather when he was younger. We decided to take a tour, after struggling with finding a venue. We met Jessica, and we fell in love! She showed us the multiple venues that are available for weddings, and we chose the Legends Courtyard. A secluded, quiet, gorgeous spot overlooking the golf course. Not only did we find the perfect wedding venue, we found the best wedding planning team! The all-inclusive package made wedding planning so smooth, and made our decisions much easier. Paige was our event manager, and she made sure we were happy with all aspects of our special day. She was very responsive, organized, and so kind to us. She’s got a busy job, but she made us feel like we were her only couple. And on the day of, she checked in on us throughout the day, and all through the night to make sure we were satisfied. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives, and we will forever be thankful to Mission Inn for being such an integral part of that.
We had an amazing time at Mission Inn! We spent two days before the wedding at Mission Inn with our families and bridal party. We were able to do everything at the resort, which was so convenient. Kerry and Jessica helped us set up a welcome dinner, spa bachelorette party, bachelor game room, hotel stays, rehearsal dinner, and a guest golf tournament as well as the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Nelson, the Food and Drink Director, worked with us the entire weekend to make sure we had all the treats we desired! We would highly recommend the All-Inclusive Package to anyone considering Mission Inn as their wedding location. It was so convenient and easy because they did all the contracting with the vendors. So much was included in this package which saved us a lot of stress! Kerry and Jessica were such great resources every step of the way! We are so grateful to them and the Mission Inn staff in general!!!
I wish I could give them more stars, I absolutely LOVED mission inn. Kerry was an absolute pleasure to work with and answered my 1000 questions without fuss. The venue is so beautiful and the staff from the hotel lobby to the servers and everyone in between made it feel like a home away from home. I’m so sad my wedding is over, but we will be back soon just to relax. Highly highly recommend getting married here.
Mission Inn has become our home away from home. My husband and I went to so many venues around Florida; name a town, we looked. None of them felt right until we drove onto Mission Inn’s property. Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating. We fell in love with La Hacienda and Plaza de las Palmas but always dreamed of an oak tree for our ceremony. Jessica made sure that dream came true. Our ceremony was a bit off the beaten path and could not have been more perfect for us. Kerry was our catering manager and she went above and beyond for us. She answered any and all questions and helped guide us every step of the way. I can’t say enough how thankful we are for her. Our wedding felt like a fairytale and all the little details were flawless. If there were hiccups, I was blissfully unaware of them because of how well managed everything was. We loved that our guests could stay on property when our reception went on into the night and we loved even more that we could do the same. Mission Inn’s team made sure we had champagne, food, and cake waiting for us in our room with a surprise gift to end the perfect night. We can’t wait to go back and celebrate our anniversary at our favorite place.
In July 2021, we had a brunch wedding at Mission Inn. Kerry and Jessica were incredible in planning, coordinating, and organizing our wedding. Kerry was with us every step of the way and made sure our wedding day was special - from planning, to rehearsal, to the day itself. In less than 30 minutes we were able to transform our outdoor ceremony into an indoor affair with the help of Kerry and her Mission Inn Staff (due to weather). The resort was able to comfortably accommodate both our families, and everyone was impressed with the hotel accommodations and amenities (including golf). Let me say this - having a brunch wedding was in no way less elegant nor fun as an evening wedding. The food and drinks for our cocktail hour and brunch reception were incredible. Guests were able to enjoy the day together, eat and drink their fill, and then head home safely. After all the fun, we were able to clean up, pack away our things, and head to our honeymoon suite for a well-deserved nap.
We had our rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding, cocktail hour, and reception all at the mission inn. It was a fantastic experience. We worked directly with Kerry, who was fantastic. She was so kind and helped us in everyway that she could and kept us on track. We had the rehearsal dinner at Marina Del Ray. It was before for an evening dinner and very spacious. They provided shuttles to and from the venue for our quests. We had our wedding in the plaza and it was beautiful. The reception in La Hacienda was also a dream. We had 55 people and they staged it perfectly for our smaller wedding. The food was sour of this world! Every guest was obsessed with the beef and brandy cream sauce. Also, we had a medical issue with a guest during the reception and the staff handled it with efficiency and kindness. The hotel rooms on site are perfect, as we had mostly our of town guests and the many options for restaurants is wonderful. I would 100% recommend looking to have your wedding here! And ask for Kerry if you can :)
The best choice we made while planning our wedding was choosing to have it at the Mission Inn. My mother suggested we have a look at the venue, as it was nearby another one we were touring. We really weren't thinking we'd end up choosing a golf resort as our venue, but they blew everyone else out of the water. They had many venue locations for us to look at and ended up falling in love with the Courtyard area at Legends. We were blown away by their packages and offers; it was the best of what we had seen offered out of all the other venues in Central FL we had looked at. We had also gone in December and were given a Black Friday deal where they provided the DJ. We booked in December 2019 for a March 2021 wedding. Of course, Covid had other plans, and we ended up deciding to push back our date to 2022. They were extremely helpful in getting us rebooked, it was fairly painless.
We mainly worked with Helen R. She was fantastic! She saw to all of our needs and she made sure all of our questions and concerns were addressed. She was very communicative with us and gave us brilliant suggestions of vendors when we ended up having to move the date (as some of our previously selected vendors were not available on the new date). Helen really spent a lot of time going over the details of our wedding and making sure we were happy with the arrangements.
We were hesitant to book a place that was going to provide the catering without having tried some of the food. We looked up other reviews about the Mission Inn and in nearly all of them; I mentioned that the food was great, so that won us over. So here's another review to attest to that! THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! We absolutely loved the food for our rehearsal dinner and for our reception! I am looking forward to being able to eat there for our future anniversaries!
We enjoyed our honeymoon suite and our wedding guests said they liked their rooms. We really enjoyed relaxing by the pool. Our stay was overall really pleasant. My advice would be if you end up booking, have your guest book rooms EARLY for your wedding date!
Each vendor we booked made comments about how they enjoyed working with the Mission Inn; almost like it was a relief to them we had booked Mission Inn for our venue. So that was comforting to know that as we were planning everything. Sure enough, there were no issues between the Mission Inn and our other vendors. The Mission Inn is -very- good at managing their weddings. While checking in the day before our wedding, I overheard a conversation where one of the staff informed a guest that there were SEVEN weddings happening that weekend. I was a little worried when I heard that, but really it was all fine; I saw hints that other weddings were going on, but never did I feel like I was sharing space with another bride, nor did our parties overlap at all.
I can confidently say, based on our experience, that booking with the Mission Inn is a solid decision. It's going to make your planning so much easier and you will have a fantastic day. We loved our wedding! We wish we could do it all over again. We loved it so much! Thank you to all the Mission Inn staff for making it a truly amazing day for us!!!
My husband and I got married at Mission Inn on March 12, 2022. Jessica quickly answered our email inquiry and was happy to accommodate our very specific tour time request! She brought us around to all three ceremony and reception sites, discussing our views for our wedding and answering any question we could think of along the way. Jessica was personable and professional the entire time, and we could feel her love for Mission Inn on our tour! We went to the Legends ceremony and reception site last, and I quickly knew this was where I wanted to marry my person. Jessica sat with us for quite a while after the tour was complete to further discuss our wedding vision and to introduce the all-inclusive vendor package. My then-fiance and I made that decision official before we got to the car to leave; we would do the all-inclusive package and get married at Legends! We emailed Jessica the next day to let her know the happy news. From there, we were assigned Helen as our catering manager and were provided the list of vendors who were included in the all-inclusive package so we could start choosing who we wanted for our big day. There were a wide variety of vendors who offered everything we wanted and more! We also worked closely with Helen (who is amazing, by the way) to choose every detail of our ceremony space and reception. The catering team was able to make my decade-long dream of having a late night mashed potato bar come true, as well as ensure my then-fiancé was able to show his love for chicken tenders by having it as an appetizer. Literally any time we said "Hey Helen, we were thinking of doing X," she was completely on board and found a way to make it happen. She's like a wedding wizard! After thirteen months of planning, the day finally arrived. It was so stormy in the morning, but then the clouds parted and I think I literally heard angels singing. Our ceremony space was beautiful, and our upgrade choices (like white gloved service and passed champagne after the ceremony on the way to cocktail hour) were executed perfectly. Every staff member we interacted with was an absolute pleasure, and it seemed they all tried to bend over backwards to ensure my husband and I had the best time. The reception continued in the same manner, and everything was beautiful. The vendors we had carefully chosen from the all-inclusive list were exceptional, and truly helped us have the absolute best day and night of our lives. But it didn't stop there! When my husband and I got back to our room, we found desserts from our wedding along with a sweet note and a bottle of champagne. We enjoyed an amazing brunch at La Hacienda the next morning (I am still dreaming about the Prime Rib) before departing. It is now nearly three weeks after the big day, and we still have guests contacting us to tell us what an amazing time they had at our wedding. They compliment the beautiful grounds and warm staff, as well as the amazing food and overall atmosphere. I am very sad that our wedding day is over, and wish we could relive it many more times to come! We will be returning to Mission Inn in the future to revel in the memories we made on our big day. I would not hesitate to recommend Mission Inn to any future couples considering getting married here, and we highly recommend the ease of the all-inclusive package. DO IT, you will not regret it! Our wedding far surpassed our wildest dreams, and we credit that to the staff and vendors recommended by Mission Inn!

Mission Inn captured our ideal fairytale wedding! Everything from the locations offered, the amazing staff, the food, the all-inclusive package, and the desire to make us feel as if we were the most important people to them during the planning process. It was absolutely wonderful! Kerry Bosela was our planning point of reference, and we just can’t say enough wonderful things about her. She is cool, calm, organized, and just who you need by your side on your special day. Her communication with us was superb! The all-inclusive package really narrowed down for us who we wanted to be a part of our day. It was nice to have top of the line options for all of the necessary components of a wedding/reception. As far as the venue, I couldn’t believe we were still in Florida! It’s a beautiful historic, Mediterranean feel with romantic vibes everywhere you turn. It was literally dreamy. We had to contend with winter storm Izzy on the day of our wedding, and weren’t sure we would even be able to have our wedding outside. Kerry walked through other indoor options with us up until the very last possible minute just in case changes were needed. Thankfully, Izzy blew over, and our fairytale continued! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
My wedding at the Mission Inn Resort was incredible! When comparing wedding packages from other venues to Mission Inn, it was a no brainer. The menu is amazing, the resort itself is picture perfect no matter which venue you choose on property, and the guidance you receive from the Sales Team + your personal Catering Manager is what I felt made my wedding planning experience top notch!
When selecting the Mission Inn Resort, we fell in love with Plaza Fontana for our ceremony and the resort side ballroom for our reception. I had the best of both worlds with having a stunning outside ceremony on Plaza Fontana and then my enchanted forest wedding inside the ballroom. It was everything I hoped it would be on wedding day and more!
Jessica, the Director of Wedding Sales, was my first contact at Mission Inn. She helped create a customize package that met my needs. She was so easy to talk to and made the booking process smooth!
After saying “I Do” to Mission Inn, I was assigned my personal Catering Manager, Helen. Helen is the Director of Conference Services and was very helpful in the planning process. If I ever needed a second opinion she was a perfect person to ask. She worked with me on creating a custom menu for our wedding reception and was a huge asset on wedding day, by directing the vendors so I could enjoy being a bride all while knowing my wedding was being taken care of. She was also extremely detailed and quick to send me my event details once we finalized our options.
Nelson, our Banquet Captain, took care of us all the way back at our menu tasting and throughout our wedding weekend. He took the time to get to know our families at our rehearsal dinner and took extra special care of us at each event. Always ready with a new glass of wine and making sure we had time to eat after mingling with our guests. Everyone needs a Nelson on their wedding day, he was the best!
The food was phenomenal! We added on a Short Rib to our dual plated entrée and our guests couldn’t stop talking about it. Chef Krystal and her team absolutely nailed it!
Tony was our Bartender for both our Rehearsal Dinner and Wedding. As soon as my husband and I entered the event space, he took care of us immediately. He tended to us diligently and was more than accommodating throughout the night.
I had my wedding vision in my head for so long now and it honestly was better than I could have ever imagined. The Mission Inn Staff, from setup, banquets, the kitchen and conference services, all went above and beyond for our day. I truly feel like I received the best experience a bride could have ever asked for on her wedding day.
I had a very difficult time planning my wedding. In two years we had to cancel 5 times at several locations due to covid restrictions, travels bans, etc. I actually had cancelled everything when I called Mission Inn on a whim to see if they could accommodate the day we wanted. They could, and not only that they had an all-inclusive package that allowed us to easily plan everything in less than 2 months! In just a short amount of time, the Mission Inn and the vendors that I chose through them put everything together seamlessly for me. I actually ended up liking the venue more than the original venue that I had to cancel. It is an absolutely gorgeous place to have a wedding (unfortunately for us it rained for our ceremony so we had to move inside), with three different locations to choose from. The rooms where we got ready were SPECTACULAR- especially for the men! The food and restaurant staff were incredible. The vendors were some of the best in the industry. Not only that, but they give the couple two free nights at the resort and a really sweet surprise in the room after the wedding (I don't want to give it away so I won't say!). Even though I was pretty down about the weather that night, I can honestly say that Mission Inn exceeded my expectations, and I was very happy that everything worked out the way it did so I could have my wedding there. Helen and Haley were awesome and so helpful. I kept changing details at the last minute, and Helen worked hard to accommodate everything. If you're looking for a venue in Central Florida I highly recommend the Mission Inn.
My Wedding was three months ago and was perfect. The team at Mission Inn was so wonderful and every detail was perfect. My wedding Venue Legends was so perfect for my theme Beauty and the Beast. They were will always be many memories from my wedding day.

The venue is breathtaking. The food is outstanding and very elegant. You could not find a better wedding venue for relaxation and bliss. The wait staff and golf staff at the mission inn are top notch and go above and beyond. I highly recommend this venue as it is worth it.

The Marina del Rey at Mission Inn is a hidden gem. Everything went off without a hitch thanks to Helen and the rest of the team. We met with Jessica Castrejon in April 2019 to tour the Mission Inn for the first time. We had toured quite a few places already and really hadn't found anything that would work for our large guest count. Jessica took the time to get to know us and our story, showed us all around the property, and answered our endless list of questions. The venue is so beautiful and huge! They had lots of options for ceremony and reception spaces for all different guests counts. Plus it is a resort, so all of our out of town guests had a place to spend the weekend comfortably. We decided to sign a contract for April 4, 2020. We worked with Helen Ronchetti, our assigned catering manager at the Mission Inn over the next year. She was very accommodating and made everything very easy, even though we lived out of state! She even helped us schedule our menu tasting/planning meeting while we were visiting for the holidays.
Just 3 weeks prior to our wedding, we had to reschedule due to COVID. Luckily, Jessica quickly helped us find a new date, October 17, 2020. She transferred everything exactly how it was to the new date, without any issues or complaints. We ended up having significantly less guests than we originally planned for but the Mission Inn was able to work with us so all of the money we paid wouldn't be wasted.
The wedding weekend was absolutely flawless! We had our rehearsal dinner on Friday night at Legends. It was set up beautifully and executed smoothly by Nelson. He was so professional and friendly, we were glad to have him the next night at the reception! The food was delicious, the staff was amazing, and everyone had a great time! We continued the celebration at the La Margarita Lounge - our guests loved the outdoor patio area with fire pits.
Our wedding day was spectacular. The entire day ran so smoothly and my husband and I didn't have to worry about a single thing. The ceremony was in Plaza de la Fontana and was the perfect backdrop. The cocktail hour was in Plaza de las Palmas, which basically looks like a garden and has market lighting strung throughout. We had our reception in the Grande Ballroom - which was decorated perfectly and looked so elegant.
The staff was absolutely incredible. So many of our guests kept telling us how amazing the service was - all the servers, bartenders, and wedding team. They even made sure that my husband and I got to have some of our cocktail hour appetizers since we were away taking photos and that we always had cocktails.
Our pictures turned out amazing - the property has so many wonderful and completely different places to take photos. It's definitely not your typical golf course/resort! Everything at the Mission Inn far exceeded our expectations - our wedding really was a dream come true!

As I write this I am overcome with emotions of how special Jess, Bri, and the entire staff at Mission Inn Resort became to me and my family. I had originally chosen to visit Mission Inn because my parents wanted something closer to them in The Villages. I made a list of all of the venues in The Villages, Orlando, and other areas to visit and Mission Inn was added. I had always heard wonderful things about this location so I figured it could not hurt. We probably visited roughly 8 locations in The Villages before visiting Mission Inn. As soon as we entered the property we quickly realized how special it felt. You know the saying "When you know you know". Well after meeting Jess and visiting Legends it hit us! It was everything that we had imagined, and my parents could not agree more. That day I canceled all other venue visits I had scheduled. Jess was wonderful and answered all of my one million questions, you think I am exaggerating but I am not. I was as prepared as I could be because I was ready to make a decision that day and Jess graciously took her time answering every question in detail. She even had a welcome gift for me as a bride which was the first of any visit, it made me feel special right off the bat. Once we decided to book, unfortunately, that was what we thought would be the last of our interaction with Jess, but about a few months later we were elated to find out that she would be our catering manager!
Then COVID hit, I can not even begin to describe the stress, but if you are reading this now you are also planning your wedding during a pandemic and understand. Jess was so wonderful. She helped relieve some of my stress and kept reminding me of how perfect the day will be despite it possibly looking a bit different than my original vision. She was a huge reason I didn't lose my mind during this pandemic.
My husband is a chef so the food was extremely important to us. We had a specific vision of what we wanted our food to be, and they exceeded every expectation that we had. All of our guests have said it was the best wedding food they had ever had! Jess was with us through every step of the process and Chef Mark made sure our vision came to life!
The day of the wedding was a dream! I know I keep saying it but Jess was amazing and made sure that we were stress-free on our day! When you talk about someone going above and beyond, Jess and Bri take the cake! When my matron of honor was MIA to bustle my dress the team stepped up. My planner and Jess worked on bustling my dress, while Bri stood in front of me with a silver platter of appetizers to make sure I ate. I wish that photo was captured because it was a true behind the scenes moment. This is just a small example of how they made my husband and I feel like the most important people in the world. Every interaction I had with Mission Inn and their staff made me feel special. Above all else, they made sure we were safe and their staff made sure to work with extra precaution to keep our guests safe. Mission Inn is working extra hard to make sure they create wedding memories while following strict health guidelines. Not once did I feel unsafe or at risk during the entire weekend.
If you are considering visiting DO IT! I guarantee you will not be disappointed with not only their professionalism but also with how you will feel after visiting Mission Inn Resort. My husband and I already have talked about visiting yearly, because they will forever be considered Family!

, there were moments (thanks to covid) that we didn't really know exactly what the end would look like, but it came together better than I think any of us ever envisioned. I remember at one point in the night talking to your mom and all she could say was wow at how amazing you did at creating a vision and allowing us to execute that vision for you and bring it to life with the help of your amazing wedding planner. While the bustling and snacks were fun, my favorite memory of the whole day will always be you laughing and smiling the whole way up the aisle after being announced husband and wife when your guest got a little carried away with their dried flower tossing. Thank you so much again for everything and we cannot wait to see you next October (if not sooner)!
Absolutely stunning venue and amazing staff to go along with it. From the very beginning, when even touring the property, Bri was very thorough and informative and gave us great tours of all three of the venues (yes, there are three to choose from). She is fantastic and made the booking process seamless.
After we booked, we then got to work with Helen to plan every detail of the special day. Helen is a gem. She is so personable and so comforting, that even when I felt stressed or worried, she was there to calm me down and assure me that everything would work out. She gave her input and expertise when warranted, and helped accommodate every weird and special request I asked for. Even during Covid, she was able to make our food tasting a fun experience. Helen made coordination the day of a breeze, so that I really didn't have to worry about anything. I knew I was in good hands.
All of my guests raved about the food. I know sometimes tastings can be much better than day of, but my day of food was just as good, if not better. And it really does help when you can tell guests there are rooms to stay in that night so they can let loose at your wedding at not have to worry about driving home.
Really, Mission Inn is just a top notch venue of the highest quality with the greatest staff I could have asked for.
There is an Amazing Place that you should consider when planning your Wedding. Mission Inn Resort & Club was Remarkable. The grounds are gorgeous, beautiful rolling hills and lush landscaping. It impeccable. It has a very European feel. My Future husband an I showed up without an appointment just to see this magnificent place. Here's the kicker (I am 70 and he is 77) this was not our first rodeo. Even though we wanted it to be special I just wasn't sure what I wanted. That all changed when we met Bri Mabais in Wedding sales. WOW this women really took care of us. Bri, was patient, understanding that we wanted something simple and elegant. With her guidance, an ability to listen an visualize our ideas with a few added an correct suggestions we knew we made the right choice. Bri stayed in contact with us or was reachable when I had a question. The day came. I can not believe how much time an effort Bri gave us. I was treated like it was a MIllion Dollar wedding for our very small wedding. The vendors she suggested were wonderful and she double checked everything. So if your looking you really need to take a look at Mission Inn for you wedding or any special day. I forgot to mention the Honeymoon Suite...just WOW! If you do I am sure you will be happy. I had my wedding here in September of 2019 and it was the most amazing experience ever. I had to change my date last minute due to my mom becoming ill with cancer. They were fantastic working with such a short notice change and helped me plan my wedding in less than 4 months. Everything on the day off ran so smoothly I couldn’t believe it. Jessica was great in the planning process, making sure everything I wanted was available; from serving my favorite meal of tacos during the rehearsal dinner, to making sure every liquor I loved was available for the reception, to a printed photo of me and my husband from the wedding night in our room waiting for us with cake when we got back after the reception .....everything was perfect. I would do it all over again.
Bri and Kelsey are rockstars! We got married at the Marina and even though it poured, everything was perfect. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. We got married at the end of May and Mission Inn has done a great job implementing safety and social distancing measures. All of our guests raved about the food! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!
Absolute incredible experience with Jessica, Bri & Helen from the Mission Inn wedding department! Our wedding plans had been derailed due to Covid-19 (We had planned for over a year to elope to CA but the state was went into lock down again) and the Mission Inn team soothed our spirits and surpassed our wildest dreams! In less than two weeks we had a mini honeymoon resort accommodations, mini ceremony, and epic bridal photo shoot with access to the grounds (they even offered a AC Van and golf cart to take us around the grounds for photos.) Everything happens for a reason and we are forever grateful for Mission Inn wedding team for taking the best care of us! Our photographer was That First Moment , Claire & Rob.
My new husband and I went to a wedding here in 2019 and loved the resort! Naturally after we got engaged, it was the first place I booked to do a tour. We first met Jess and loved her about as much as we loved the resort. We chose the Marina location for our day cause it was so perfectly us. But honestly all locations were gorgeous and none would be a bad choice. We had the luck of being able to plan our wedding through the global pandemic and they were amazing throughout. Helen was our venue manager and she was absolutely wonderful, never missed a beat in ensuring we had the day we dreamed of and that we were happy. She was so responsive to emails and the ever changing factors of the pandemic. We got married on Sunday, but checked into the resort on Friday. My groom and his friends/family took advantage of the amazing golf courses, while I took advantage of the pool. This resort is so amazing. Everyone is so nice, welcoming and happy to give you your perfect happily ever after! The front desk was so helpful in making sure we had everything we needed and getting our welcome bags out (even our specialty ones). And if you can...ask for Mauricio as your banquet captain. We met him at our tasting, he was there during the day in our getting ready room, and I have never met a nicer man. Thank you to everyone at Mission Inn that gave us our perfect start for the rest of our lives, but especially Jess, Helen, Mauricio and everyone else. This is the most amazing resort to get married...if I could give it 100 stars, I would!!
As seasoned travelers, my husband and I have experienced our fair share of hotels around the world. The Mission Inn Resort & Club offers more than just good service; it prides itself on genuine hospitality. This quality alone made the property an unparalleled value for our wedding, which we held at Marina Del Rey. Other features were just added perks, from the stunning, Old Florida scenery, to the simple touches such as fire pits outside La Hacienda that made for cozy pre- and post-dinner conversation "nooks." Hats off to Shelby who did a stellar job as our wedding coordinator. We didn't hire a wedding planner (I wouldn't necessarily recommend that!); however, she kept our minds at ease because she is always on top of her ****, not to mention an absolute sweetheart. She made the process effortless and fun for us. Outside the wedding crew, we and our families -- who stayed through the weekend -- felt overwhelmingly pampered by the staff. Staff workers were happy, attentive, personable and fun. Thanks to Greg, Rebecca and everyone else who left a lasting impression that weekend. If we had to nitpick: The resort did feel a bit worn, and one of the rooms smelled musty, but none of this fazed us or any of our guests -- the service surpassed any minor fault. Also, it's an old property; it's part of the charm! This place now holds a special place in our hearts, and we plan to return for a staycation sometime in the near future.
I absolutely loved our wedding at the Marina Del Rey. It was the perfect space for us. Between Bri and Kelsey, I was always able to keep in touch with any questions and know how things were progressing. Everything turned out amazing and we couldn't be happier. The resort was beautiful as well, we were able use the spa after our rehearsal while the guys hung out by the pool area drinking and playing games. It definitely felt like a nice mini vacation.
My husband and I recently got married at Mission Inn and cannot say enough great things about it! As soon as we entered the resort for our tour, the staff was super polite and helpful! Jessica spent quite a bit of time talking with us about our big day, and we knew right away that this was the perfect place! Helen was our planner, and she was awesome! She was prompt in answering questions, and met with us on a few occasions to help me feel at ease about the big day! The wedding weekend was even more perfect than we could Have imagined! The grounds were absolutely breathtaking, and many of our guests commented on how beautiful of a venue we selected! Mission Inn also worked well for us, as I am from Michigan and had a lot of guests from out of town! Everyone had a fantastic day hanging out around the resort, and then enjoying the lovely ceremony and reception that followed!
My wife and I first met Jessica and Mission Inn on a whim when we decided to attend their “Seasons of Love” showcase. We did a group tour with Jessica and had a amazing time meeting all their vendors. After the showcase, we couldn’t stop thinking about the beautiful location and the amazing staff that we met that day... and the delicious hors d’oeuvres that we enjoyed while we were there. After comparing locations and staff, we couldn’t imagine holding our ceremony in any other place with any other people. We then met Bri and our love for Mission Inn grew even more. Jessica and Bri are amazing ladies with remarkable attention to detail that made our entire planning process simple and stress free. We looked forward to meeting with them at all of the various wedding shows and intentionally hunted them down just to say hello. Bri-Ica made our wedding day and night, a night to remember. We received rave reviews from those who attended who also fell in love with the scenery, food, and service... but really those reviews belong to Mission Inn and their staff. Bri-Ica really out did themselves and we look forward to visiting the resort each month as our getaway from reality and reliving our “Happily Ever After”. My now husband and I could not be more happy with our decision to have our wedding at Mission Inn! Everyone was super helpful and friendly every step of the way, particularly Helen who literally made the entire process so smooth and was able to answer every question and quell every concern we had. The venue itself is stunningly beautiful, and each of their ceremony locations are awesome and can appeal to any couple's style. We had our ceremony at the Plaza de la Fontana and it was so picturesque we didn't even bother with extra flowers or an arch or anything which saved us time and money, and the pictures turned out so great. A lot of our family and friends stayed at the resort for the weekend and the entire staff was so friendly and helpful to everyone, and the food was awesome too. We didn't leave the resort for all three days because everything you could need or want is right there. Our guests kept telling us all evening how great the venue was and what an incredible time they had. I truly cannot say enough how having our wedding at Mission Inn was one of the best decisions we made. If you're considering Mission Inn, do yourself a favor and take a tour and you'll definitely see what the attraction is!
I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Mission Inn. They helped us to have our picture perfect wedding- and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. From the first phone call we had with Bri, before we even signed our contract, we knew that we made the right choice. During the entire planning process, Bri and Kelsey were always available and willing to answer any question I had, no matter how ridiculous, even if I asked the same question 8 different times. They worked with us and our budget to help us create our dream wedding- and they did not disappoint. The Marina turned out absolutely beautiful and our guests loved everything. We decided to have our wedding ceremony & reception at the Legends Courtyard & Ballroom located inside the Mission Inn Resort, and we do not regret our decision in the slightest! Every little detail from the venue, to the grounds, the staff, our rooms and the service was perfect and we have heard nothing but good reviews from our guests about the quality of the food served at dinner and the hors d'oeuvres served during cocktail hour. The venue itself is also stunning, well-maintained, and very clean. The windows in the ballroom that look out over the golf course & the lake offer a stunning view as the sun sets. Jessica & Shelby were very helpful and organized during the planning and execution of our wedding ceremony/reception, and we would definitely recommend Mission Inn resort to anyone and everyone who is looking at this resort for their special day! 5 star service, 5 star scenery & 5 star accommodations. Mission Inn was an incredible venue for my wedding! It was in a private location, but still had the great scenery I was looking for. We got married at Legends Courtyard, but had availability to the rest of the reception venues for our pictures, so we got to jump around and get a lot of different backgrounds. The entire staff were extremely helpful and sweet! If I did it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing!
Our daughter and her now-husband had their rehearsal dinner at the marina, the cocktail reception at the Plaza de las Palmas, the reception in the main ballroom and a Sunday breakfast in a reserved room. All venues were terrific and the hotel staff was accommodating to our many out-of-town guests. We all enjoyed the long weekend!
The Mission Inn is a beautiful venue to hold your wedding at. There are several lovely areas that you can choose from for your ceremony and/or reception. The food was delicious and rooms were nice. The staff was very accommodating and courteous. If you love romance, The Mission Inn has that!
We had our wedding at Mission Inn last weekend and it was the absolute perfect day! Helen, Nadine, Jessica, and the rest of the wedding crew were SO helpful throughout the whole planning process! We didn't hire a coordinator because all of our vendors had done weddings at this venue before, so I was a little nervous about any hiccups that might happen. However, Helen and Jessica made sure the day went smoothly and were there every step of the way. It was truly a pleasure to work with them!
In addition to the perfect wedding day itself, we also had our after party in the Margarita Lounge and Brunch in El Moro the next day--all of which were wonderful. Our guests had a great time and really loved the Mission Inn Resort as a place to stay for the weekend. The staff at the resort always had a smile on their face and always were available to help out! From the moment we scheduled our tour of Mission Inn we felt like family! We first met Bri who was unbelievably amazing and assisted us with selecting the best wedding option for our budget and our style. She truly listened to what we wanted as a couple and never tried to up sell something. Mission Inn property is like out of a dream! Every wedding location was breathtaking including the waterfall on the main resort property! Mission Inn made it incredibly easy with the ceremony, reception, rehearsal and resort accommodations for our guests. Jessica M. was our wedding coordinator and if someone could be called perfect it would be Jessica M. We got married at the Marina Del Rey and it is a beautiful location with the water backdrop. Marina Del Rey at Mission Inn Resort is worth every minute of the drive out from downtown Orlando. My husband wanted a ceremony by the water and I wanted an indoor reception because Florida’s weather can be unpredictable. Marina Del Rey was the perfect blend because the picturesque lakefront property has an indoor hall with full glass walls facing the lake and market lights dangling from the ceiling.
I will not go into detail about some of the challenges we faced leading up to our wedding day because in the end Jessica M made everything right. The food was delicious, the venue was beautiful, and we look back on our special day with only happiness. We are especially thankful for the leftover cake, champagne, and gift that Jessica had waiting for us in our hotel room when we returned from the reception.
My only word of caution to future brides, do not book your nail services at the spa as my immediate family, bridesmaids and myself all left dissatisfied with the service we received.

We spent our wedding weekend at Mission Inn Resort for our two-day event! From our first visit, Jessica C. helped create the vision for our dream wedding. Marina del Rey for our Hindu ceremony was her suggestion and it made for a picturesque backdrop for the festive bright colors. The path made for a grand entrance for my groom on his horse for the baraat. Everyone raved about the amazing Indian food at lunch!
I love that the venue offers multiple sites so our guests were able to experience different settings for each part of our wedding. Our traditional ceremony on the second day was at Plaza de la Fontana as the sun started setting. It's so beautiful we didn't need much ceremony decor. Cocktail hour in the Plaza de las Palmas courtyard was a selling point for my husband. He loved the market lights and wrought iron tables. Our reception was at La Hacienda and it was a unique and perfect room to offer an intimate feel to a wedding of over 130 guests.
With most guests coming from out of town, it was definitely a a huge plus that everyone could stay in the same place. We were able to enjoy the resort and our spend time with our guests all weekend.
Most importantly, Jessica M. was such a pleasure to work with through the entire process. She brought the vision of our dream wedding to life. With multiple events, she was attentive to detail and so responsive! We are so thankful to her and the entire team at Mission Inn for making the weekend so spectacular!
We are extremely happy with our decision to use Mission Inn as our venue for our dream wedding. The resort is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, the food was AMAZING, and the service was EXCELLENT! To say our wedding at this venue was amazing is an understatement. Everyone and everything surpassed our expectations and we are so happy we chose to celebrate here. Literally everyone who works at this venue will bend over backwards to help you anytime any day, believe me we tested this. You can’t ask for a nicer person than Jessica to help make your day perfect. Anyone looking for a venue should seriously consider this place because there’s something for everyone. 10/10 would recommend.

This is the most beautiful outdoor venue I've ever seen. The grounds are impeccably maintained, and the scenery is exquisite. They have several locales to choose from, but the Legends Courtyard with beautiful trees and greenery and a lovely fountain was my most favorite. The staff and events team, Jessica especially, went above and beyond for our event. We had very "special circumstances" that required delicate care and a few particular details, but they covered everything flawlessly. The service left nothing to be desired. Everyone showed they actually, genuinely, cared about making everything perfect for our perfect day. AND THE FOOD! SO GOOD! I can't say enough about this amazing little hideaway, the best kept secret in Florida, a little hidden gem, The Mission Inn is an ethereal escape from reality that will make all your wedding dreams come true!

The wedding coordinator Jessica Maertchik was incredible to work with. We are a very detail orientated family and she help us figure out ever detail making the wedding just perfect. The ceremony in the Plaza de la Fontana was just picture perfect..The cocktail hour and reception was also just wonderful , the setting was just perfect.Having a wedding at The Mission Inn when many of your guest will be coming from out of town was just wonderful. We had almost 70 guest staying there and everyone loved it especially those who play golf!!! If you are looking at having a wedding in central Florida I would highly recommend the Mission Inn !!!!

Our wedding was held at the Mission Inn Resort on Saturday, November 10, 2018. But, before I share details of the amazing day, I like to first share our experience with both the Wedding Sales Manager, Jessica Castrejon and Nadine Haines, Catering Manger. Our first contact was with the wedding sales manager, Jessica; who greeted us with the most warmest smile and greeting. As she shared with us the specifics of the resort, it was clear she was a master of her role as the resort sales manager. She did an amazing job showing us the options where to have our ceremony and reception. She offered us recommendations of the various vendors that we would likely need for our special day, I.e. photographer, makeup artist, bridal shops. Once we made up our mind that our wedding choice would be the Mission Inn Resort, Jessica connected us to our Catering Manager, who would over see every detail of our wedding. Nadine, the Catering Manager, did an amazing job making sure our vision to our dream wedding would come to reality.
We found the Mission Inn Resort to be competitively priced but the service was beyond our expectation - from the sales manager to the hotel front desk to the bellman; all were helpful and upbeat. Our guests all said they enjoyed their stay and the restaurant experience was outstanding. One of the advantages for our guests, was all the activities it offered to lengthen the guests’ stay through out the weekend. We had family members play golf, teenagers signed up for Shoot & Skeet and of course the beautiful pool.
We recommend this place for both wedding and ceremony because of their exceptional experience in pulling it all together with as little stress for the bride and groom. Their aim is for the bride & groom to relax and enjoy the “ride.” We are so happy to have chosen the Mission Inn Resort.

Mission Inn Resort & Club - Howey in the Hills was the perfect venue for our small, intimate wedding. Everyone was helpful and worked with us from the first meeting until after the reception and beyond. Bri was able to make my dream of having the ceremony and reception a reality and Nadine assisted in making my wedding day relaxing and beautiful. The property was fantastic for pictures, the food delicious and all the staff we encountered were friendly and courteous. Thank you for creating my dream wedding! It was my favorite day of all time filled with all my favorite people! Mission inn was a perfect venue to create an entire wedding weekend! All of my guests stayed at the resort where we enjoyed multiple days together exploring the resort, golfing, swimming, relaxing at the spa, and celebrating our marriage! The resort is absolutely gorgeous and created the perfect atmosphere and backdrop for our wedding! The staff at Mission Inn were very helpful in creating a great weekend from Jessica our amazing wedding banquet manager to Greg and Jay the amazingly sweet bell hops that made me feel like a princess! Thank you Mission Inn for creating our perfect wedding weekend filled with our favorite memories of all time!! :)
The Mission Inn was the perfect location for our wedding. We loved the Spanish architecture and the feeling of being transported far away while only being 25 minutes from home. The Marina Del Rey was full of greenery and overlooked a grand lake. All of our guests were mesmerized with the scenery just as much as we were.
Our wedding would not have been a success without the help of Jessica and her assistant Nadine. In the months leading up to the wedding, Jessica was helpful and responded quickly when we had any questions or concerns. She always had our best interest in mind.
On wedding day, Jessica and Nadine took care of decor, vendor organization, and overall made sure that we were stress free. We enjoyed having them along during every part of the day. The staff during the reception was also amazing and so helpful.
We have so many great memories from our wedding day and we cannot wait to visit The Mission Inn Resort again soon.
My husband and I were very specific about the venue we wanted to get married and since most of our guests were coming from out of town, it was important for us that the venue had accommodations and that everything was held on site, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. I believe we visited over 15 different venues before we decided on Mission Inn and I am glad we did, it was no doubt the best decision!! Mission is a unique place, and as a romantic bride, I fell in love with Plaza de La Fontana at the moment I stepped in, the stunning views, the Spanish architecture and the impeccable grounds got me sold on our first visit. The director of sales Bri Marbais showed us around ,she was incredibly knowledgeable, personable and attentive, she listened to all our “ must to have it” list and made sure it was all included in our contract. The communication was always good, professional and prompt. Along the way we meet our catering manager Jessica Maertchik and what a blessing it was to work with Jessica, she is amazing! My husband and I planned our entire wedding witch was very elaborated and full of details that were very important to us. Jessica was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, it didn’t matter how crazy our requests were, she went out of her way to make sure everything was the way we wanted. During the process, we had issues with our first choice of florist and I started to panic, without hesitation Jessica offered to help find a reliable and reasonable priced vendor, within a few days she found me an amazing vendor that offered more than I was looking for!! Jessica always replied to our uncountable emails with great attitude and I cannot imagine going thru this process without her help. In the end our wedding was absolutely perfect and everything we expected, the food was delicious, the servers were helpful and the service was flawless. It was no doubt the best day of our lives!!!
What an incredible venue! We were so pleased with everything, from the bountiful delicious food options to the incredibly friendly staff. Our wedding weekend was an experience we will never forget! Our wedding planner, Jessica Maertchik, was very helpful and communicated with us regularly. The wedding was beyond our expectations, and the Mission Inn crew are an amazing team!

My husband Steve & I selected the Mission Inn & Resort for our vow renewal. The decision was clear after my initial meeting with Bri. She created a vision and executed with a very professional and creative team of wedding vendors and Mission Inn staff. The Spanish style architecture provided a romantic back drop to our intimate ceremony & celebration. We would like to thank Bri, Jessica, Nadine, Taci and David with the Mission Inn for making our vow renewal amazing. Reverend Kevin performed a spiritual that vow renewal ceremony that expressed the perfect feelings and emotions ... brought tears to both of our eyes. We also would like to thank and enthusiastically recommend Patrick Buckley Images for capturing the beautiful photographs of the day, Christina with Kristy’s Artistry Design Team for her creativity and vision for my hair & make up ... she is amazing! Also, thank you to Sweet Layne Sweets for the best cake we have ever had ... topped our wedding cake! The venues at Mission Inn are all exceptionally beautiful. We were thrilled with our venue choice for our ceremony and reception sites & everything looked perfect the day of. Throughout our planning process we were provided three different wedding coordinators which was a little frustrating at times but the transitions always seemed to be flawless. This was probably just the luck of the draw for us but it still worried me. However, when we were assigned to work with Jessica, I was very happy. She responded to emails quickly and always answered all of the questions asked. Whenever I had any question I always felt comfortable emailing her or calling her if necessary. She was organized and responsive throughout the whole planning process. The day of our wedding it poured all day which I believe, unfortunately, threw a wrench into the planning and set-up process. Things seemed to be a bit more hectic than they should have been -- I was left with my bridesmaids to find my way to our first look location on our own. There were also a few things with setting up the reception/ceremony site that were not done as requested. Overall, we had a very good experience at Mission Inn and with Jessica. We would highly recommend Mission Inn as a venue.

but are so glad that the transition was always flawless and that Jessica was able to ease your mind and make you feel comfortable during the planning process. Rain on wedding day can definitely cause some changes to the set-up and planning process on our end but this should never effect the amount of attention that you receive on wedding day and we are so sorry that it did . When choosing the perfect place to exchange your vows with your soul mate before God and all your family and friends...Mission Inn is it! We were welcomed in like we were a part of the Mission Inn family from the minute we walked through the door and met Bri! As we left that first day, our decision was made and the wheels started turning to create a day of dreams come true!!
As our process continued, Jessica Maertchik was our venue coordinator...and I would say angel!! She worked with us, listening to the hopes and dreams we had to make our daughter’s wedding simply perfection!! When issues arose, Jessica was able to keep me calm and work through the situation to find the ideal solution...never sacrificing the vision.
Every single person that we interacted with throughout the journey of preparation to service to hospitality the weekend of the wedding was extraordinary! They went above and beyond to make sure we received the reality of that dream!! It was if our Abby was their own child or sister and they wanted her day to be magical!
When your husband, who pays the bill, says to you throughout the day...”I don’t want this day to end! It’s perfect!” You know that you chose the right spot...Mission Inn is all about making your day unique and perfect for you. They take you in and simply make you family!!!
