Karina started out at The University of South Florida studying criminology, but three years into her degree realized planning was her passion. She switched majors and took on a rigorous internship in the event industry to develop her blossoming talents. Since then, this planner has proudly opened her own business, MK LEGACY Weddings & Events. Through her company, Karina strives to create flexible, customized experiences for each of her clients.
MK LEGACY Weddings & Events has helped plan engagement parties, showers, pre-wedding celebrations, ceremonies and receptions, anniversaries, and everything in between. Believing that every detail matters when it comes to turning dreams into reality, Karina offers a variety of services. Full planning is available for couples looking for Karina to guide them through the process from start to finish. If you’re a DIY-lover or have already started the process yourself, partial-planning options are available. 10000/10 would recommend mk legacy events!! Karina and her team were nothing but perfect. She helped create beautiful memories. She shares my love for details and totally supported me through my DIY bridal journey before, during and after wedding day. Karina and her team went over and beyond setting up and breaking down for our wedding. Even taking the time to rewrap fragile items. She was creative, positive, reassuring, and I had zero doubt she would get the job done. She exceeded my expectations and I will forever be thankful for all of her hard work and dedication to help make our wedding breathtaking!

Ryan and I have nothing but a positive experience for MK Legacy Events. Hiring Karina was by far the best thing we ever did when we started this journey of wedding planning. I told Karina that without her, Ryan and I would not be married. We love her! Our wedding was awesome so perfect that we were in awe. The best wedding planner out there! Even though our wedding is over, we can honestly say we made a friend out of Karina. She is a rockstar and her team can take on anything!

MK Legacy Events absolutely knocked it out of the park!!!!!! Karina poured herself into our wedding and paid close attention to every single detail!!! Our wedding was PERFECTION because Karina handled everything and put us all at ease! If anything went off track, Karina handled it quickly and resolved any issue that came up. She was always available and accessible and made the whole wedding planning process so smooth and easy!!! My now husband and I agree that it would not have been possible to pull off such an incredible wedding without the help of Karina!!! She helped to keep us on track, on budget, coordinated soooo many details, was always in our corner supporting us every step of the way!!! She even got us great deals with vendors and truly made us feel like our wedding was the most important and highest priority to her. I seriously cannot recommend Karina at MK Legacy Events enough!!! 100000%. It was such a pleasure working with her and getting to know her. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!

We hired Karina to help us plan our wedding since we were out-of-state, and we're very glad we did! She recommended and connected us with a few vendors that ended up being great to work with. She kept us on track during each step of the wedding planning. Our schedule for planning was shorter than most, but she was flexible and made sure everything that needed to be done got done on time. She also helped us with ideas. She was super helpful with a few last minute additions we wanted to make for the reception. In the end, we're happy we chose her to help us plan our wedding!

Karina is a true wedding superhero! I hired her to be our day-of coordinator and she went above and beyond for us. We started working together about 6 weeks before my wedding and she was so attentive, organized, and just an overall pleasure to interact with. She communicated so well with all of my vendors and truly made my wedding as stress-free as possible. I cannot imagine going through that process without her and am so appreciative for everything she did for my husband and me. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

There aren’t enough positive words to describe our experience with MK Legacy events. Karina was incredible to work with, from start to finish. We had already been engaged a year and a half before we decided we needed a Month Of Coordinator, and she was in great communication with us leading up to when her services officially started 30 days out from our day. Karina even helped us coordinate the Covid trenches, and how to have our guests show proof of vax cards or negative test before entering our ceremony and reception. She came with loads of questions for our Day of Coordinator at our reception venue, especially since our final walkthrough was her first time visiting the location. Our church coordinator also said she was a doll to partner with and very professional, having our church coordinator lead the way for that portion of the day, while she helped with anything she might have needed. She went above and beyond our expectations. Our entire timeline was streamlined to a T without a hiccup, all thanks to her. Her assistant helped set up the decorations at the venue, while Karina was helping shuffle guests at the hotel to load our guests on shuttles. Everyone worked together perfectly, from logistics from hotel to church to reception hall, to photographers, to all of our vendors in between, MK Legacy events was the guiding light that kept everything a float. My husband and I couldn’t have asked for a better planner for our wedding day!!
