d to schedule over a month in advance and then couldn’t reschedule without personal lost. I never hired them to cater my wedding, this review is solely on my opinion of the abysmal customer service I received. This company usually requires the $500 deposit to secure the wedding date before they schedule a tasting, but if you prefer to try before you buy, they will only charge you $45. What they also don’t advertise or tell you beforehand is that their tasting is none refundable as well, no matter how much notice you give them. I told them a week from my tasting date that I wouldn’t be able to make it, and all they offered was to reschedule it at the time. After 2 and a half days they got back to me with an alternative date that was another 2 weeks out. As that date didn’t work for me I immediately respond to them I would have to cancel. Never in any of our communications did they specify that this charge was nonrefundable. They never brought up that they would be keeping this money. In my ignorance of expecting a refund for a service not provided when cancelled well in advance I waited a couple of days before reaching out to them to find out why I hadn’t received a refund. Again, there was nothing in our communications that stated this tasting fee would be non-refundable. Their reason why they didn’t want to give a refund was that they had already bought the food and couldn’t fill in the spot. I requested my cancelation a week in advance, they took their time finding to try and find a way to reschedule leaving only 3 days before the event. (or 4 days if you include the event day) When I stated this back to them, they were kind enough to offer a refund. It’s been 4 months since my last communication with them and I haven’t heard a peep from them, no emails, no refund. They lied to me and I am upset I ever spent time communicating with them. But this is only my opinion of my experience of their customer service as a paying customer.

he setup was beautiful, the food was delicious, (even my five years old loved it and they are super picky). The staff was was professional and friendly, and the price was incredibly reasonable. We had to tweak some timing last minute and they were so gracious and worked with us. Book them early, you won't be disappointed!

I waited long enough to put my thoughts together and explain why I love this vendors work and passion. first off thank you to your amazing team monclovas catering for making wedding dreams true. they are attentive, detail oriented, and willing to go above and beyond for their couples. Fabian in specifically made my planning so easy and almost stress free!! ( I over stress over everything personally) he took took care of everything from florals with a special team to the amazing food that till this day is still talking about. he really does it all. His team day of made everything worth it all and I will forever be grateful. Everything turned out beautiful and it's all thanks to what monclovas can create. not just for the moment but for the memories we'll have for the rest of our lives. Without a doubt the best in the industry and will recommend everyone to them.

f a menu and he nailed it! He made new dishes that he hadn't made before just to satisfy us and our soon to be blended family. You would have thought he made this food everyday! He made delicious carribean inspired food that was easy for children and more mild palates to enjoy. Literally everyone I spoke to on my wedding day was raving about how much they loved the food! Everyone wants recipes! Honestly, we had a disaster of a venue, so the whole morning of the wedding I was extremely stressed, but when I saw the Monclovas Catering truck I felt such relief! My fiance had just sent someone to tell me that they were here because he was also excited and relieved. We knew we could count on Fabian and his team to help keep things together and end the night with an amazing assortment of foods. If I would email Fabian with a complicated question, I knew I would receive a call within the hour to be able to discuss all of the details. He even helped us with our difficult wedding cake request. We wanted our dogs as a cake topper and we couldn't be happier with the results. We love the Monclovas team!
