Words cannot describe the compliments we received from out guests about our cake! Monica is so incredible! She was flexible with my husband and I, as we were 4 hours away, and was able to schedule meetings through our times of traveling back to Frederick. She was an easy pick after the first tasting and deciding on the chocolate chip cake (MUST TRY)! Her delivery was so efficient and thoughtful. Monica delivered our cake as close to the reception as possible because of the cold weather (in the 40s on 11.01.19)! She wanted to make sure the buttercream was not hardened at the time of cake cutting. I couldn't recommend her anymore!

I would give 10 stars if I could. Working with Monica was so enjoyable and easy! She was accommodating in terms of schedule and requests. I did a 6" anniversary cake and cupcakes. They were beautiful!!! AND tasted delicious! The marble cupcakes with chocolate buttercream icing were the crowd favorite I believe, but my favorite was the lemon which was used for our anniversary cake. Yum! No complaints about the apple spice either. Highly recommended!

Monica’s cupcakes were delicious! We first had a tasting and we chose three cupcake flavors that we wanted to try off of her website. All of them tasted amazing and it was definitely hard to choose only a few flavors for my wedding! I loved all of the examples of cakes/cupcakes she showed us. It helped us decided what we wanted for our wedding. Her prices are very reasonable. The presentation of her cake and cupcakes were amazing! My guests also loved her cupcakes. She delivered my cupcakes during cocktail hour instead of at the beginning of my wedding because it was 90 degrees that day and she wanted to keep them out of the heat. I would definitely recommend using her for your wedding!

Monica was totally amazing through this whole planning process. She went above and beyond to accommodate what we wanted and we were able to get three beautiful cakes that were delicious. All of our guest raved about how great the wedding cake was. She also delivered on site and decorated beautifully the day of. In addition to that we bonded over our love of national parks and she recommended some places for a honeymoon. Thank you so much for making this so easy for us!

Monica provided us with exactly what we were looking for in a wedding cake! It was perfectly simple yet elegant at the same time, not to mention the cake and cupcakes were delicious! Our guests are still talking about how much they loved it. Monica was very responsive and flexible allowing us to make changes and add on things to meet the needs of our guests! I would definitely recommend Monica's Sugar Studio!!

Monica was absolutely amazing! She worked so well with our budget. And not only that, but she literally bakes the best tasting cake that I have ever had in my entire life. We had 3 different flavors, lemon, red velvet, and marble. Our guests could not stop raving about it the day of and even for the week after. I absolutely recommend to everyone, but book in advance! Everyone loves her!

We used Monica's Sugar Studio for our wedding cake. I should start off by saying that my husband and I were winding down after our big day and were talking about each vendor we had and how we felt they did and we both agreed fiercely that the Monica did a wonderful job! I had learned about Monica from a friend that was using her for her wedding as well. It was a pleasure from the beginning, I contacted Monica through email and she got back to me right away about meeting. We met with her at her cute little shop to which she had samples of cake flavors we had chosen from a huge selection she offers. We ultimately decided on a "barely naked cake" with not much icing and the flavors we chose were almond and marble cake with a chocolate gnache filling. Monica was super helpful with recommending a kitchen cake and a smaller display cake to cut down on costs as well as offered us a fabnet discount for being apart of a local bridal network she belongs to, we stayed within budget and were very happy with the price she offered us. She was very good at getting back to me via email and the day of the wedding when she had a question she went directly to the coordinator at the venue to not add any stress on me that day which I appreciated tremendously. She arrived without a peep to set up the cake and it was gorgeous!! We had provided her with fresh flowers from our florist and she added these as well as a topper we provided with no extra charge. All of our guests raved about how delicious and fresh our cake was and lots of people shared photos on facebookbecause seriously.. it was beautiful!!! I had only gotten a bite of the cake for how busy we were but definitely look forward to our 1 year anniversary cake!! I will forever use Monica as our cake lady for special occasions and will always recommend her for an amazing outcome!!

Monica's Sugar Studio was recommended to us by our vendor and we are so glad they told us about her! We had five tiers in four different flavors, and each one was amazing (or so I've heard since I didn't actually get to eat any myself...). If you have Monica bake your wedding cake don't make that same mistake. Her cakes are really too good to miss!!! Thankfully we have the anniversary cake she made for us (included in the price of the cake, so you don't have to worry about saving the top tier day-of). We were so impressed by our tasting with her that I emailed her the next day and asked for her help to make a surprise Millennium Falcon grooms-cake for my husband. It was a huge hit at the rehearsal dinner. Great value, great to work with, and the end product is to die for.

We had the black, white and yellow colors. I found a cake that had the damask design and showed Monica a picture of what I would like. We also wanted chocolate with strawberry ganache and chocolate with peanut butter. The icing was buttercream. Monica delivered a beautiful, delicious cake! She did a wonderful job!
